It was a first visit for us. The prices were very high. The fish was greasy and tasteless. The chicken nuggets were spongy pressed pieces with a weird flavor. The coleslaw wasn't very good. There were a LOT of fries. We had enough to take home and have for supper. They were better reheated. ????‍♀️

So I went to Dixie Lee a couple of times and the food wasn't bad. But the last time I went I ordered a "Tender snack" (that's 2 chicken fingers and some fries) I waited around 25-30 mins and when I went to ask the girl what was going on she went to the kitchen then came back and said "I'm not gonna lie they missed your order I can give you your money back or you can keep waiting" I took the money and won't be back!!!!

Good service and very helpful and friendly. Food came out faster than expected. Got the 3 piece chicken meal and it was delicious. Very filling too, unlike most fast food.

Went in. Nobody at the counter. Made eye contact with a dishwasher in the back. Nobody came. Rang the bell on the counter. Nobody came. We went to Uncle Mike's instead.

Ordered popcorn chicken poutine. Waited 50 minutes for my food and they didn’t even get my order right. Gave me regular popcorn chicken instead of poutine.

Wrote a scathing review on terrible service and they removed it, so I’ll repost it. The fact that there are multiple bad reviews about the staff, but great comments on the food, shows you that theres a problem with some of the employees. Heres the old review: Walked up to the register and the cashier greeted me with “What?” Waited 20 minutes with another gentleman for my food, and the cashier handed it to me and I said “Are you sure this is mine?”, she replied “Whatever...” (it was actually the other gentlemans). Opened up my “chicken burger” to see a store bought processed bun, a kraft single, two chicken fingers, a slice of tomato, and a single drop of mayonaise. The fries were way too salty, and the coleslaw was half liquid. The customer service here is horrible, and the food is mediocre at best. P.S. I’ve since also found out that the “Chicken Burger Trio” I ordered was supposed to have three pieces of chicken on it, so I didn’t even get what I paid for. Do not eat here until they address the staffing issues.

Amazing Customer service and amazing food. Best Deep fried Scallops I've ever eaten. The gentleman that was working tonight was a perfect example of great customer service that you don't get very many places anymore. Highly recommend this Dixie Lee's.

Why would you go to KFC when Dixie Lee is right there? There are only two locations in Canada I believe, the other being in New Brunswick. Fantastic fried chicken, great service (we were in and out in no time on NEW YEARS EVE of all days)

Great chicken place. Stopped in for lunch and picked up a decently priced 4 piece fillet dinner, my spouse had a 2 piece chicken dinner. The coleslaw, bun, dixie sauce and chicken are A+. The crispy coating has a nice salty taste, the chicken isn't greasy at all, and is cooked just right. The only spot I thought they could improve on was the fries, just typical crinkle cut. We'll be back next time we go to Summerside.

Too slow to be "fast" food, and it's not great at being a sit-in restaurant when everything is served in cardboard boxes. The scallops and haddock were soggy, and the utensils they do give you don't unclude a knife, so good luck cutting anything. Shrimp was "meh." Nothing tasted seasoned. Probably because everything is frozen. Mediocre spot. Pick any other place for chicken or fish. It'll be worth it anywhere but here.

My favourite fast food chicken place. However its u fortunate that i have to change my rating to 1 star on service alone. We went today like we do almost every sunday. They took my order 2 econo dinners, simple. Waited about 10 minutes at the counter for my recipt which never was produced. Waited another 30 minutes for food before we were asked what we ordered again... After watching other people get served their food who came in after us. Their solution was give us more chicken... Which 40 minutes waiting no thanks. Asked for our money back and got a very nasty look from the woman. She refunded us. Its really too bad because we love dixie lee.
