The service here is horrible. They say the walk in is open at 730am, so I arrived at 745 and then they say there is no doctor until 8am....okay so I wait. It is now 820 and still no doctor in sight, or the receptionist and I am the only person in the waiting room. They should say open at 830 or 9am if that's the time the doctor arrives. Horrible.

Super pathetic staff. I called them in the afternoon to check if I can come now. Staff said yes they'r open and not busy and doctor can see me right away. Went to clinic just before 1 pm and they said we will be on Lunch from 1 to 130 pm and I need to wait. I asked them where did it say lunch hours and she fumble, I left that day. I called again today went at 130 pm same staff told me she is hungry (showing sign by rubbing on her tummy) suggesting she is on lunch and I should come back at 2 pm. I hope the nurse that I am writing about reading this. I suggest them to post lunch hours on the site. Very unprofessional.

Very convenient place. Doctors are very professional, and knowledgeable. Staff are very friendly and multi-tasking. I took my daughter in a very busy day, and without any appointment. I waited only 20 minutes. Usually, and somewhere else took at least 2 to 3 hours waiting. Doctor was caring and listening to my complains, explanation, and did his best. I will definitely go there if needed.

I greatly appreciate one of what I think are the nurses there. There name is Tala Alfasi. While I was there she very kind and never made me feel bad once. My grandson felt sick and she was the one who helped me get an appointment with the doctor. Overall many of the staffs there are super kind.

Came in around 9, was out by 9:30 as a walk-in . First time here . There was 1 person in the waiting room and 1-2 patients inside . Fast ,quick check . Exactly what I needed.plus they open early at 8am. Perfect timing . Friendly doc and receptionist .

Prefer to give 0 star. Very bad service. Here is my story, Doctor referred my child (5 years old) to an oral surgeon. After reaching the mentioned address, I came to know that wrong address was given by the doctor's office. I Find out and reached the correct address, then I realized that the oral surgeon referred by the doctor was retired from there long back. The bottom line: Ellesmere Family Health Group refereed my child to a surgeon who is retired and not practicing.

Receptionist was Rude, terrible customer service, belittling use of tone. I didnt bother going back to see the doctor. Whilst i understand my card had expired during the pandemic i didnt know that service ontario was open yet. When i asked her how to go about dealing with expired card she said well you can just pay the doctor. ????????ohhhh is that how we renew our health cards now? Im sure her intentions were good. I mean she had just hung up on another customer who wanted to know when something would be faxed. How dare someone ask her when she might be able to do her job.

If i could review and file a complaint against i would have done it way earlier worst over ever clinic. Never pick up the calls. The doctor write wrong medicine name and didnt even write the quantity of medicine. Pharmacy had faxed them almost 3 days ago. I tried to call them everyday. They dont pick or they pick up the phone leave it on the side. The doctor is very irresponsible towards the patient. Don't go on 5 star reviews. Never go there. Its been 4 days still no reply of fax. I would never recommend to any one.

I've been coming here for years. I've been bringing my kids here for years. 1. Best hours - anytime I've called, they've been open 2. They actually answer their phones 3. Almost never a long wait in the waiting room 4. Reception today was friendly, helpful 5. Actually allowed me to come in despite still being in the pandemic I'd first started going to the walk-in a short walk around the corner but was constantly frustrated by their inconsistant hours and long waits inside. In desperation I once checked to see what else was nearby and found EHG. They've never failed me. I probably drive by at least 6 walk-in clinics to get here but it's worth it because this clinic puts the others in central Scarborough to SHAME This clinic is the most reliable.

The phone constantly rings without an answer. I am sure that there may be good team member here, however, I am referencing those I interacted with.

The receptionist are NOT doing their job properly. I called the clinic to book an appointment to see my family doctor Dr. Susanna Fung, to refill a prescription. I gave the receptionist my name and the reason for the visit. She told me that I can just go in to any pharmacy and request a prescription refill. And the pharmacy will call the doctor to obtain the prescription. I did that with the pharmacist. But then the receptionist called me in the afternoon and told me to come to see Dr. Fung, because the last prescription I got from her was 2 years ago. When I asked why the first receptionist told me to go straight to the pharmacist. The receptionist blamed me not giving her the reason of the visit when I first called in, which I DID. If they take their job seriously and take the time to check my profile before telling me to go to the pharmacist, I don't have to waste my time going. I've been going to this clinic in the past 7 years and never been satisfied with their service. The only reason I was still going is because it's so hard to find a female physician who can speak Chinese, and still accepting new patients in Scarborough. But after all this, I'm going to find a new family doctor and will NEVER come back to this clinic.

I've been dealing with his place with five months now, first came here because my original Clinic moved locations. I can honestly say that from now on I will go to any other practice besides this one. Reception is dismissive of incoming patients and lack basic people skills. Doctors waste your time with needless tests as well. I found myself getting an x-ray one week, and an ultrasound later on and then a dismissive attitude when I persisted for a resolution for what was explained to my as a neurological problem from the beginning by the same doctors. Should have been a referral to a neurologist all along. There are better offices out there than this one.

Very unprofessional. Doctors barely look at you & ask you what to write down. Always on their computer. Unorganized. Hardly answer the phone. The doctor didn’t put the date on a doctors note, couldn’t use it for work and they still wanted me to pay again. Doctors are always switching daily and don’t work together. Visiting Dr was Veejai Sawh. He wanted to know what was the issue. Informed him follow up for my ear pain and routine blood test. All of a sudden he shouted very loudly why are you doing this blood test, this has to be done only once a year. If this guy had the medical knowledge and skill to read and understand my past medical history he would not have screamed at me, but would have understood what was previous Doctors diagnosis, treatment, prescription, and why they had wanted routine blood test to be done. I felt awkward and embarrassed by loud shouting at me as there were other patient in the visiting room. This guy did not treat the patient with respect, dignity or in a professional manner , etiquette that needs to be practiced by Ontario Doctors as per CPSO

This place charges 50$ for a prescription for orthotics even when that's the only thing I wanted from my visit WITH AN OHIP! Before I went in I asked the receptionist if I can get a prescription for orthotics. I would appreciate if I was told I need to pay upfront. After meeting the doctor when I was told I had to pay extra 50$, I came out and asked the front desk to confirm this and she said it's written and pasted in the wall. Why was this not told upfront? Advise to the management: please have some tissues, sanitizers and face masks in the front desk. Cutting corners to save pennies puts other patients health at risk!

I’m 30 wks pregnant and have been waiting furiously to get a new OB referral fax sent because I was in Montreal and missed my last regular 2 wks checkup. Dr in Montreal said I might have gestational diabetes. So I want to see OB ASAP. I had all my previous blood tests in this clinic when I was 1 month pregnant since I live close by. There is a woman who works in the morning you should avoid at all cost if you have anything important. She does not know what you ask her. Very rude and hangs up phone calls on you all the time. I have been calling back and forth the OB office and this clinic for the past 4 days trying to get a fax sent. I have to go in person pick up the fax and deliver personally to the OB’s office at last. My appointment with OB was delayed over a week as a result. First day, she said Mam we don’t fax referrals, Dr fax. I have to come in talk to the dr. So I said could you arrange over the phone because I want to reduce risk of covid. Then Dr called and he said ok to send the referral by the end of the day. The next day I called, OB office said they have not received anything. I called the clinic and she said I have to see the dr first. I said I already talked to the dr yesterday. She said NO Dr saw you yesterday she can book an appointment. I kept telling her I already saw the dr I just need the fax sent. she said she will talk to the dr, OK? then simply hangs up. I called again she said she DID NOT send, but WILL send, I have to wait for the OB office to call me back. I called OB office again the next day and still nothing was sent. I simply cannot trust this women and tried to call another receptionist asking her help. I would be left without treatment if I relied on HER! The clinic is so CHAOTIC with so many complaints having this lady at front! When I first found I was pregnant. I waited over a months after my first blood test. I tried calling 3 times afters weeks of waiting to find if I’m pregnant or NOT. This lady told me Mam I have to wait after almost 3 wks of waiting. I was lucky to having talk to the other receptionist at last. If I kept waiting I would be missing the important NT scans that can only be done at early pregnancy to detect any abnormal fetal growth. I don’t understand why they would hire someone who doesn’t know how to send fax and read patient blood tests, all she knows is booking appointments and get your health card charged. I definitely won’t come back again to this clinic to deal with her and unnecessary frustration!

I went to Ellesmere Family walk in clinic about a month ago. I came in early, about 8 am and the doctor wasn't even there. The receptionists weren't apologetic and didn't seem to want to explain anything. They just sat around chatting. There were two people in front of me. I waited an hour and a half to be seen which I thought was a little ridiculous. The doctor was nice and did take his time with me which may be why the other two patients took so long? Didn't really help much (I have abdominal pain no one's been able to figure out yet), but he tried to find out my history etc. Don't bother coming in early I though. Doctor won't be in.

Horrible service and treatment! I waited nearly 2 1/2 hours for my turn, nobody tells you how long it will take. I had a blockage in my ear and wanted to get a cleanup. Despite charging me extra, the clean up wasn't done properly (doctor hardly spent five minutes overall) and the ear is still blocked. Doctor told me to go home and just wait for it to get better. Waste of time and money! Avoid this place and don't get fooled by all the nice comments shown here.

This was honestly the worst experience ever. I never write reviews about anything but I have never been so pissed or offended as I was with these people. My reason for going here is because I needed my two-step tuberculosis test done for school and for those who don't know what that entails, you go get the shot in your forearm, and go back within 48-72 hours to get it "read" 7-21 days later you go back for the second shot which goes in the opposite arm, and go back 48-72 hours after that for the other reading. At first things were fine (I went with my friend) she got called in then I did and it didn't take too long. But the second day I was there and had to get it read they FORGOT about me! For something that took LITERALLY 2 seconds (they look at your arm and filled in my paper with a "0") I was there for an hour and a half and had to ask when I was going in and if they forgot! It was ridiculous. Third time went in for my shot and it was fine. And for the final day I go in and they tell us we had to wait longer than the 48 hours and that they had told us- but I'm sorry NO ONE mentioned that to me. On top of all that I asked for a requisition form to get my immunization record done- when I got home and looked at the form I noticed they spelt my last name wrong AND marked me down as a male - I'm CLEARLY a female. I got them to change this and when I went to get my blood test done life labs had to send me back because they didn't give me a form that I needed for said tests. Needless to say I will NEVER step foot in there again. The incompetence is unbelievable ! It's getting to the point that I feel they are somehow "forgetting" about a lot of stuff with me because I'm white.... And I don't say things like that ever but clearly when I'm the only white person that goes in there I sure have been getting treated poorly . Rant over.

The staff and doctors that work at this clinic are wonderful and caring. Doctor Abounaja and his staff are very caring, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I went there to have a cast put on my wrist after falling on the ice and breaking it. The attention was fast and professional. He listened to my complaints and did is professional best to solve them. I would highly recommend this clinic ,Dr. Abounaja and his staff at the drop of a hat.

First of all the waiting time is WAY TOO LONG and the doctor is horrible!! He came in and barely checked what was going on with my problem. He was rushing everything so i asked if he could just refer me to a specialist. And they didnt even do that either. DO NOT COME HERE. Horrible

The office hours are not what they say on their website or on their office doors. They mentioned they opened at 8am on sundays on their website, and 7.30 on their doors. I have been waiting at their door since 7.30 and it is almost 9.30 and their sign still says that they are closed! If you are closed on Sunday then just say it instead of hiding it and lying about it!

I went here for a prescription renewal and a rabies titre and waited about 90 minutes before I was put in a room. It then took an additional hour for the doctor to write the prescription and the nurse to take my blood (both of which took a total of 5 minutes). After 6 weeks I went back to the clinic and waited another 30 minutes (there was absolutely no other clients there) before being told they didn't have my results and I would have to wait to speak to a doctor or they could email them when the results came in. I just called to have it emailed and, after waiting on hold for 10 minutes, they said they can't legally do that so I have to come in (I just moved 2 hours away). I would never recommend this walk-in clinic to anyone.

This is the worst clinic i have ever visit in my entire life. Unfortunately, there is no option to give worst than one star. The doctor treatment is the worst, the doctor will come to you with his expression on his face.. like speak fast i wan to go, you will literally feel he just wants to get rid of you to go home/next patient. They won’t take their time to explain you well, to understand your health concerns. I am not telling you this happened once this happened to me twice at this clinic. On the phone same thing. I swear this is the worst place you can register your family doctor which I did, don’t waste your time and energy to go at this clinic. I have waste my energy, blood, and time.
