This Doctor is included in the category of Medical clinic.
From out of town visiting my son and need my monthly injection I was in and out in no time no more then 15 min great staff
Sinisa Zerajic is a young pompous doctor. Could have cared less about my situation and after barely looking into my year, copied what the last doctor gave me for an ear infection even though this time, I have lost my hearing. He acted so rude. Zero bedside manners and spent under two minutes in the exam room. Don’t attend this clinic as a drop in just incase you end up with this ass.
If you enjoy being disappointed in the health care system then this is the clinic for you!!
we have a sick 5yo, coughing, and told us to wait at the car and they will call us by phone, they also told us that the wait is about 45mins, so we wait at the car... and were still waiting its almost 2hrs pass already. i just hope they will told us the unexpected time to w8 so we could bring home our sick kid in case it will be this long... i have no problem waiting but the sick persson is a kid i feel very bad for y daughter feeling so sick at the car.
After trialing a few small medical centres throughout the city, I've decided that Lakeside is my go-to clinic. It's a well-kept large building with a lot of available doctors throughout the day. The wait-time depends on how early or late you visit. If you drop by in the afternoon, you'll typically find yourself waiting a couple of hours before seeing a doctor. I notice that early mornings or late evenings are much quieter, with an average wait time of 20 minutes or less. Lakeside provides hourly posts on their website and Twitter handle with respect to their updated walk-in wait times, so you can spare yourself the trip if the clinic is too busy. The clinic's extended hours are very much appreciated. It gives you peace of mind knowing you have the option of stopping by late in the evening or on weekends. However, each doctor is a hit or miss. Some will take the time to make sure your needs and concerns are dealt with, while others rush you out in two minutes and make you feel like an inconvenience. I've seen doctors who had no problem referring me to a specialist, while with others I felt as if I had to put up a fight and wasn't taken seriously. It was also impossible to receive any pain relief for my fractured foot. A BROKEN foot! But, hey, that's our Western opioid epidemic. You'd have to come in with your head disconnected from your body before a doctor will even consider prescribing you anything stronger than an Advil. Instead, I was advised to purchase a $200 walking boot, which wasn't the kind of price tag that sat well with my wallet. As a student working part time, this was not something I could afford, and was forced to deal with the pain and discomfort for the following weeks until I fully healed. Overall, I give this clinic a 3.5 stars out of 5. The cleanliness of the facility and the convenient hours of operation would have made this review a full 5/5. However, the inconsistency from doctor to doctor significantly lowers my rating.
awful !!! you shouldn't come to this clinic if you don't want to waste your time! When I came with my child to the walk-in clinic estimated time was 90 minutes we're waiting for 2hours and 30 minutes and when we asked how long we should wait on reception women were so rude! This clinic does not know what it is service!
Ridiculous wait time even if it's not busy. I've been to a busy clinic and I didn't have to wait 2 hours to get checked
Like a number of people, the actual visits with doctors are good, but reception is atrocious. I haven't had much trouble with them personally, but the way they talk to people over the phone and their constant annoyed-sounding tone as they call out patients is pretty off-putting.
Good doctors. But wait time is ridiculously long.. the estimated wait time when I walked in was 90 minutes, I waited 2 and a half hours before I was finally called into a room.
Great place can do minor emergencies like stiches
I normally have a good experience here, but this time I unfortunately saw Dr. Leakos. He was completely inattentive, did not take me seriously, and rushed me out of there as quickly as possible, despite the clinic being almost completely empty. Throughout the history of medicine, half the job of the doctor was to offer care through bedside manner. Dr. Leakos seems to have completely abandoned this. There are many great doctors here, so just try to see somebody else if you can.
Tried going to this place a few times..and every time I have went they stop taking people in. It was 330 in the afternoon and they are open till 10pm and they stopped taking people? GTFO with this garbage
Was called that a room was ready for me. When I arrived, front desk told me to wait. After 1.5 hrs wait, I saw that they called me again on my cell. I was like I m already here. Front desk told me they need to register me again coz they removed me from the list. Like I was sitting right in front her! She would have known better! If she was not talking to someone on the phone about her nails getting done, maybe she could ve informed the back people that I was there! I asked her how long is it going to be. Of course she doesn t know. Coz I need to wait for all the people who came while I was waiting for my turn on the waiting area!!!
Rude receptionist who are inconsiderate and prone to making mistakes.
I love this clinic have never waited more than 15 min. For scheduled appointment . staff are friendly
Super friendly staff. Fast and efficient and them being open till 10pm when most walk ins are closed earlier is a definite bonus!
I called and waited on hold for not even 5 mins. The receptionist who answered was very friendly and understood my situation and referred me to a doctor who called me back within 30 mins. Very nice man and saved my life!!!! Within the next hour I had my prescription with me from the pharmacy. Thank you very much !!!
Went in around supper on a Sunday. Took about 45 minutes to see a Dr. Sounds like you can get in quicker if you call ahead.
Walked in, got helped by a receptionist, they took some information about me because I was a walk in, about maybe 5 minute wait, I got a room, another maybe 3 minutes and I got my ears flushed out. By far the fastest walk in clinics I've ever been too. Would recommend this place and Dr. Baptiste. Fast in and out service and very educational. 05/12/21 New location is great and all but waiting over an HOUR for a 5 second doctors note is insanely unreasonable....Not acceptable! 09/16/21 Waiting over an hour and a half to see some lab results is insane....I still no not like that I have to speak out loud my personal information. There has got to be another way to do this. Electronically giving the information by typing it then sending it to the receptionist. I feel bad for everyone and myself having to give out my health card, phone number, where I live, emergency contact persons information out while in the waiting room. There has got to be a better way to give the receptionist my personal information. Everyone can hear everyone's stuff. Not cool.
Place is amazing, been coming here since I was 12
The receptionists are so inconsiderate. They have zero respect for the clients that come in. I could heard then gossip about the walk in clients as I was sitting in the waiting room. Extremely unprofessional and immature. All they do is gossip and chatter behind the desk. And when they call you up they act cold and rude. The doctors here are amazing but the staff make me not want to even come back.
Walk in doctors are hit and miss (like anywhere) but I have a great family doctor at this clinic. Reception is definitely a weak area, always have to wait on hold more than just a few minutes to make an appointment.
Came in for a walk-in as I had surgery in another province and sutures came undone. I was very worried. The doctor was patient, listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, double checked problem areas, and even called for a second opinion. Great experience. The receptionist was also super sweet!
Very rude receptionists, not caring enough to be at a health care unit. Loooong wait times.
Useless place. The doctors don’t take your pain seriously. Dr.naidu is obgyn should not have a medical license. Been in pain for WEEKS and she won’t do anything about it. Over all just a waste of time and money.
Usually a long wait, the waiting area is big, but the seats in waiting area are absolutely disgusting!! We didnt even want to sit down anywhere.
I have been to this clinic a few times and like the new building with a lakeside theme. My most recent experience was good. I waited approximately thirty-five minutes, which seemed reasonable, as I was a weekend walk-in. Both the receptionist and doctor were attentive and helpful. I felt cared for and was able to resolve my health concern.
This clinic is terrible long waits.1 hr to 2hrs and get in and the docs spend 2 minutes with you.
Get ready for a long long loooong wait...
Good advice ????
Very rude Receptionists at the front. Every time I come in they are horribly rude. But Doctors are great!
Unbelievably bad service all around. The receptionist are rude and useless. Worse yet, the doctors misdiagnose and generally just don't care. My family used to go to the clinic but have since stopped because every trip there is a headache. I fell they should be shut down.
I've gone to this clinic before and was satisfied with them. However, yesterday I came down with a horrible sore throat with the aches, a fever, and white spots on my tonsils. I couldn't get an appointment with my family doctor, so I came to Lakeside. I can't remember the doctor who saw me (brownish-red hair, glasses), but he barely looked at me. Looked at my throat for 5 seconds, briefly checked my ears, and didn't do a swab. He deemed it a "viral infection". He was in and out in a minute. Well this morning I woke up feeling much worse, swollen lymph nodes, and horrid spots on my tonsils. LUCKILY my family doctor was able to squeeze me in, and did a proper, thorough swab, and promptly prescribed me antibiotics. I get that doctors are busy, but when you don't take the time to properly examine a patient seeking medical attention, it's rude and highly unprofessional. I wish I remembered the name of this doctor because I 100% do not recommend him. Don't call yourself a doctor if you don't want to take the time to ensure your patient has been properly checked over. Do better, Lakeside.
Showed up for a 4pm appointment at 3:55pm (5 minutes early) Said I missed my 3:45pm appointment by more than 10 minutes and was marked as a "no show." Said there was no way they marked it down incorrectly. Staff was zero help and made me book a new appointment 2 weeks later. Wish my doctor hadn't moved to this clinic.
Was a walk-in patient. Checked in and within five minutes was placed in a room, Dr. Richard Leakos seen me right away. Listened to my concerns and did a rather thorough exam. Sent me for lab work and even made sure I knew where to go. Very please with my experience, I wish they were taking new patients!
i phoned in today to make an appointment with the DR. after waiting for ten minutes on hold a receptionist came on the line. Her attitude stunk no compassion at all not willing to help. i get a charge out of the signs no verbal abuse will be tolerated, yet we have to take their abuse. these people need a class in customer care. this is the last time I will be at this abusive clinic.
Not accurate with the estimated wait time at all. I realize things happen and others take priority but waiting 2.5 hours when the sign said 1 is ridiculous.
Your hours on Google are wrong. Please change them and I'll change my rating.
Great clinic to bad they dont answer the phone after 5 and never update the wait times after 5 either. so wen I call the nice friendly message saying "save urself a trip and check our wait time online..." means absolutely nothing. Then ontop of that you can call them and it claims they r busy and they will answer soon but that never happens. But hey if ur outta radio range give them a call cause u can listen to 98 cool FM.
Last month I went for to review my broken hand x rays..doc told me cme again after 2 weeks so at the same time i asked receptionist to book next appointment and she said we are walk in clinic, first come first serve no appointment and when I went back for follow up waited for 2 hours and left seeing ppl with appointment going in.
I always receive great care from Lakeside - I've dealt with many of the doctors here and have appreciated them all. Be prepared to wait and hour or more for a walk-in appointment, but you can check their wait times on their facebook page and if you go when they first open in the morning you can get in more quickly. It's worth it to stick around as you may eventually be able to get in on a family doctor's patient list!
Booked a vasectomy and had to sign contract for 350$ if booking isn't canceled 48 hours ahead. They wouldn't let me book it till three months later, when I'm busy at work without a proper schedule. I work tonight but need to leave early, maybe by 3 am so I can speed home to make an 1130 appointment tomorrow. I can't express how angry i am with this service. It's very poor and the reception is hard to contact and difficult to talk to. Maybe this is what Dr's do in South Africa?
Good doctors, large waiting area Post wait times on twitter.
for a consultation, I have to wait 3 hours and 40 min. 15 min with the doctor and all the rest waiting and waiting...:-(
I've had good experiences every time I've gone here. Some of the doctors may come off as cold or short, but they always listen to my problems and prescribe medication or advice that actually helps. I come from a small town and not used to getting results of some sort, and feel like this is a big step up from what I'm used to back there.
Very nice people! Very efficient! I went as walk in! Website was saying the waiting time was 20 min. It took me less than 2 min. Between registering at the front dest and meeting the doc! Very clean. Pleasant experience! I wish there were family physicians available here! Otherwise i would have given it five stars !
I talked to a receptionist, Michelle about my situation. I am a US citizen whose on her very last month of health insurance under my parents and not knowing when I’ll get health insurance again after 2020 (it’s super costly in the US). I was feeling anxious and worried about not getting an appointment with my referral who hadn’t called me in days. Michelle made me feel so much better, she understood how I was feeling and was super sweet and kind about it comforting me throughout the phone call. Because of her I was able to get a hold of my referral and even on a tight schedule they were able to squeeze me in for an earlier appointment before the holidays! Thank you Michelle you are an angel ????!
Dr.Mckee helped me out and she was absolutely fabulous. The wait time was very short and she was very nice. Will definitely be going back to see her!
This is one of the worst medical centres ever. It’s way to busy and not enough staff.
Two hours for a walk in.
Only because I had to give it one star. I missed a phone call from doctor by 2 minutes. Called back immediately, waited on hold for 7 minutes...to be told I needed to make another appointment.... doctors are busy and have back to back patients. Oh?! So my appointment is only worth 4 minutes of his time to help me with my situation..Nice VALUE and Services. The health system these days is like an assembly line Just get them through, if it doesn't help them or they Miss a call by 2 minutes, they'll be back and we'll get paid again.
my mama need med attention and she received the best care the Dr. was expedient also the pharmacy offers great service
I love going to Lakeside! I see Dr. Khan as my family doctor. He is great. You can tell he really cares about his patients. On a separate visit today, I took a youth in to get her cast changed as the doctor at the hospital did a terrible job. We saw Dr. Baptist, he was absolutely amazing. He didn't rush us out, he was very caring and patient. The new location is very clean and nice. I always recommend Lakeside Medical Clinic to everyone!
Nice service!
Wait times are generally long but they are posted online so points there I guess. Receptionist was 2 stars. She did her job but definitly did not seem to give a darn. Doctor was good, very nice. I have no clue why wait times are so ridiculously long in these walk in clinics.
I have been a patient at this clinic for about 7 years now. I find the Doctors to be extremely helpful/kind I never feel rushed or unheard when I am there. With that being said however, the front staff ALWAYS makes me feel uncomfortable. They are rude over the phone, they treat me/my schedule like I am crazy for needing specific days that are weeks in advance (as I work a full time job). I honestly dread having to call and book appointments with the clinic and something should be changed. - I maybe should specify that when I go into the clinic, I don't feel uncomfortable.. only when I am on the phone with someone. They act as If they have better things to be doing than talking to me.
This is where my primary care doctor works he's a really patient and reliable doctor he doesn't rush his patients ever, the walk in clinic is just as good yes the wait time is a bit long that's because all the doctors take their time with all the walk in patients.
Highly recommend! I am with Dr. Naidu and she is such a sweet dr., very informative and always takes time for me and makes sure I understand everything. The other staff are right there with her, very kind and sweet!
Absolutely way to long to wait for! 2 hours??? Just for an ear infection?? The place Is way too overbooked and its seats are disgusting
Was there for a walk in because my wife was having a miscarriage. Dr. Bernardo was perfectly fine during the appointment, gave us some good advice and was generally supportive. However, the ball got dropped when she told us that she would have her assistant book an emergency ultrasound the following Monday. My wife did not get a call, and if it hadn't been for the fact that she is good friends with an ultrasound tech, she would have sat around waiting for a week before they actually bothered to call her back. When asked why they took so long, they told her that Dr. Bernardo was off all week and didn't put the requisition in. So you just leave patients hanging when there's a possibility of an ectopic pregnancy? We only got the care we needed because we took it into our own hands, and that could have been a potentially dangerous situation for someone who doesn't have access to those resources. Had we seen some of the reviews about this clinic's horrible track record for following up with their patients, we'd have never gone here in the first place.
Whenever I've had a medical issue be it severe or non, I have used this clinic as my go to. I either go an hour before they close because it's not as busy or the minute they open and I never have to wait long. Lastnight I went in with a fever I've had for 10+ days and was given a prescription that I was able to fill at my local pharmacy, all of this within 1 hour.
I do not recommend this clinic. Waited for more than an hour just to know that they would just emailed my family doctor because my health concern does not require urgent care. They have large facility and sufficient amount of doctors but they cannot help you.
Extremely rude and unhelpful receptionist. Phoned with a question and was given a rude response before being abruptly hung up on. Offered no alternatives or suggestions. Terrible first impression of the centre.
Every time I call I have to wait 10-15min till someone picks up. Ridiculous wait times. Unfriendly receptionists.
Wait times are always ridiculously long whenever I go. Only great thing is they are open later, just be prepared to wait an hour or two!
Wait time has become ridiculous. Would recommend going to another place for walk in. When I showed up the wait time was for 30 minutes it's since been an hour and counting.
Been going here for general physicals for years no problem. But once I have actual medical concerns and issues they couldn't be bothered to not only help but follow up. Was told I would have my forms within 24-48 hrs over a week later and 6 phone calls later they are finally done only to find out that there's a $40 charge I didn't know about that I couldn't afford because of the wait on my papers to get paid. So now I get to starve because this clinic couldn't be bothered with me. Really nice to see that even your own doctor doesn't care when you are struggling with your mental health.
Use this clinic for primary and walkin for many years. Rarely a problem, never had rude reception. Tracking doc down to respond to refill faxes can sometimes be frustrating but I have a specialist who fills most of those anyway. Wait times can be long for walkin. Been twice for that in the last few months, docs were great. No major complaints and I see a lot of docs around the city.
It is long wait times of up to and past 30 days to see your own doctor. You of course can attend the walk in, however they do not post when your doctor is part of the group working that day. If like me your family doctor is there then like me, you have to find a doctor who cares about you and not just the money. I would also argue that this lack of patient care could jeopardize your health, is not reasonable and dangerous.
Great doctors available. Can have longer wait times sometimes.
Need to get new receptionists, the front desk ladies are not helpful and seem to be giving attitude every time I encounter them. My doctor is great though!
Good professional service. Use it for nearly 20 years. Works very well for me and my family.
The receptionists are no damn good. Maybe thats why they have an online check in..to avoid speaking to them. Haha . Serious note, the doctors are good, they listen and care.
Amazing Doctor! Receptionists are terrible, rude, uncompassionate, they make you feel stupid and it takes 20 minutes on hold just to talk to someone!
Clinic said closed at 10. Website said no wait times. Drove across town and arrived at 9.10. Didn't even get up to the desk and receptionist blurts out not taking any patients. I asked why and she said rooms are full. I saw 2 people in the waiting room and explained that online it said no wait time. She said well I haven't got around to changing it , I been busy. I found that Interesting She was rude and unapologetic.
I've been going to Lakeside Clinic for 30 years and find the convenience and accessibility great. I've never had problems with either the staff or the doctors. In particular, Dr. Brodie is everything you could ask for in a family doctor and more!
Great place
This is the worst clinic I have ever dealt with. My husband and I have lived all over the country and without a doubt trying to get an appointment to see your "family physician" at this clinic is the most frustrating thing I have done to date. There are nominal spaces and if you need to make a change you are waiting months. Unfortunately because of the way Sask Health is structured you cannot do anything without seeing your "family physician" first, so you are trapped in a medical dicotamy that is unending. If there is another clinic that is accepting patients I would go there first. Even the office staff are abrupt and unhelpful. This is definitely not a "Healthcare" model to be proud of.
Got called into the room 1 hour after expected. Sat in the room for 45 minutes. After all this, went to pick up my prescription but they didn't even send it. Had to go back and wait for them to send the doctor a message--- when really.. just go back there and tell them. HORRIBLE!!
Had an accident where by I had a laceration on my hande deep enough to require stiches, called the Urgetn Care Facility and was told it would be about a 2hr wait time which was understandable. When the receptionist was erequesting information I was exlaining my injury at the time an her response was they take individuals with those types of injuries in right away. I waited outside the clinic for 15-20 min. got the call from doctor who proceded to advise me to come inside as I would be taken care of right away. With this all taking place with in a 1/2 hr of calling the site. All said and done in was in and out stichted up in under an hour. I would have to say that the service was second to none from the receptionist to the nurse and to Dr. Kriegler. Thank you for your services and to the individuals that where waiting I appreciate you having to maybe wait a little longer than promised. Thanks AGAIN
I went in complaining of severe foot pain. The pain originated in the side of my foot and under the corner of my heel. It was so severe, I couldn't step down on it. I woke up at 4:30am with this pain and had no idea what could have happened. My foot was swollen as well. The doctor sent me for an x-ray and took about 5 minutes to tell me it was a heel spur growing into a tendon, and to take Voltaren and tylenol. I thought he was crazy. I went to emergency where they ordered another xray. The doctor diagnosed a fracture and a heel spur, and fitted me with an orthopedic boot and crutches. I was also given prescription pain medication. I would not see this doctor again for any reason.
I will definitely come back when I can't see my own doctor. I went in as a walk in and receptionist very polite. There was a hand full of people ahead of me and not much of a wait. The doctor I seen she was so nice and took time to listen to me even though it was pretty busy. I was very happy the doctor was able to help me with my situation.
Waited for 90 minutes just to see a rude, impatient Dr. Leakos who spent 2 mins with me and stormed out of the room. One of the worst medical experiences I've ever had.
Refusing basic medical services. Went with a medical emergency and was sent away.
Worst walk in clinic in the city. I don’t recommend anyone to go there. When I went there they said 1:30 hrs waiting time but after waiting three hours they were saying half an hour more then I quit!
This is a really great new space! I felt comfortable with the social distancing measures and my doctor was very professional and thorough.
Was told wait time a little over an hour, and Three hours later finally get in a room .. watched a sick little baby boy have to wait hours, screaming and stressed out .. poor mom and baby .. will likely never go back
Walked into this place at 9:30 on a Friday night. No body was in the waiting room, yet they refused to see anyone because they were wanting to close early, which then forced us to go to emergency. If the government wants to cut back on costs this needs to be addressed. I will be calling the incident reporting line and college of physicians. VERY unprofessional.
Short waiting time, good staff and very knowledgeable doctors!
I cut my leg from a suicidal episode and I needed alot of stiches. The old brown haired doctor that seems like his heart is made of ice told me that if I come back with a cut I won't get freezing for the pain. This to a suicidal person comes off as don't come back with a failed attempt. Better known as don't fail next time. He was impatient with my injury and felt like his treatment was a waste of his time.
Been a patient of Dr Schubert for years now. This is a great clinic, friendly and polite staff. Highly recommended!
There is nothing more I could expect as a walk-in patient from Dr. Conrad Veikle - he has done all what needs to be done in my case. Being health care provider myself I can only appreciate Dr. Veikle knowledge and interest in neuromuscular system which raises him up among the other physicians who looks to the problem very superficially. I wish he takes new patients as a family doctor.
I would give 5 star for my Dr. Naidu., and i would give 1 star to receptionist. She is rude. She talked sarcastic.
My family doctor at the facility is amazing, she gets a 5 star rating. My 3 stars is for the extremely long phone wait times to book my appointments, Up to 20-40 minutes on hold in a wait line of 18 callers just to book an appointment. its frustrating. No matter what time of day you call it seems to be packed, so plan to wait on hold. The receptionists seem lovely everytime I do finally get one!
For the most part, very rude reception. Why not put friendly people up front?!
WOULD NOT KNOW HPV IF IT WAS STARING THEM IN THE FACE. Dr told me my wart was fine and there was nothing to worry about, then 2 weeks later I find out I have HPV. Uninterested doctors, only want to get you out the door. DON'T TRUST THEIR ADVICE, if I could remember the Dr I would be calling her out by name.
Went into the clinic because I had a spot on my palm that I was concerned about(history of skin cancer in my family so better to be safe then sorry) After having a conversation with doctor Sebastian, we decided it would be best to get a biopsy. Went in a week of two later to get it done. Was told by the doctor that it normally takes about a week or two to get results, just because covid19 is backing everything up. (like I said I was just making sure it wasn't anything so was ok waiting). We booked a phone appointment for 2 weeks after the biopsy to go over the results. After the 2 weeks I got a call from the doctor and she told me that they had misplaced the results and that they were waiting to hear from the lab. I was told that once they got them that they would either have Dr Seb. call(if they were concerning results) or the receptionist would call(if I was fine). Waited another week and nothing so called again and the results were still lost. Called again and now they have them but they were waiting for the doc to review(said it would be sometime this week and that was on Tuesday). Nothing by Thursday so called again and was told they hadn't received any. Had to practically beg the receptionist to send the doctor a note asking for an update. Next day and still nothing, decided to call in the evening because I thought I might get someone different to talk to. I was told the doctor reviewed the test and had forgot to send back the results or to have someone call me. Luckily the results were benign . Honestly the worse experience I have ever had with a clinic. I would have understood if the results were taking a while and I got an update but this was just down right ridiculous. Would not suggest going here to anyone and frankly judging by the rest of the reviews on here they have a BIG problem.
Came in at 12.00. Sign said wait one hour. Was seen at 2.25! Maybe they need a new sign.
Freat amwhen you have a scheduled appointment but youd be bmnuts to use the walk in which has to be the busiest in town.
Been going to this clinic since 1999. The front end lady with raspy voice is so rude. Had my doctor write me a letter saying he would no longer be my doctor. ( after i called her a b*tch) I had called clinic 5 to 6 times in over a week trying to get a refill faxed to my pharmacy also had pharmacy fax request 4 times. Kept saying Dr would do it when he had time. Tried to book an appointment with him couldnt get in for 3 weeks. Had front end tell me they would call me back EACH time i called in no one ever did. Was beyond frusterated so after all the faxes and phone calls i call and was snapped at and treated terribly so i snapped( i know not becoming of me) i will be going to office manager and college of physicans!
Very tardy in getting back to patients after numerous attempts to get results.
I have never,at any other clinic or office, been asked my reason for being there at the reception desk, with other people all around. NO PRIVACY...unacceptable!!
Receptionist was incredibly rude and kept yelling personal information for everyone in the waiting room to hear. Everytime I've come it's the same demeanor. While the other two receptionist rolled their eyes and laughed. Doctors are good here but holy moly they need to revamp the front staff. You work in healthcare, be kind!
Was seen within 30 minutes, carefully inspected daughters hand and gave knowledgeable advice. Front desk staff was courteous and respectful♥️
Rude receptionist
I was told to sit down, so I did thinking I was going to get looked at quickly. I thought I would get in quickly because there wasn't many people infront of me. Sad to see 5+ other people let in before me. Waited roughly 2 hours to get in...
Extremely unprofessional.. I would highly recommend trying a different clinic. I’ve been going here since I was a child, for about 10 years. Since I’ve reached the age to finally switch my own doctor, I have. I’ve never felt my concerns were important and have been given FALSE prescriptions and denied to do an X-ray when I had fractured ribs. The new location has gotten worse. The walk-in doctor couldn’t tell me ANY of the IUD’s or what the side effects were... he couldn’t even write me a prescription for getting an IUD.
I’ve been here a few times, and I’ve never waited longer than 10 minutes. My visits are usually later, though (after 7pm), so that may be why. Very friendly and helpful admin staff... not sure why there’s such a split in the reviews, but maybe it’s the same thing as the visit time, where staff are busier (and seem less friendly) when the clinic is packed. Wait room is large and comfortable, so that’s also nice. Appointments with physicians aren’t long, but they’re certainly not rushed. Just focused on why you’re there and what can be done. It’s a walk-in, not a specialist consult, so I wouldn’t expect anything more than that for the front-line diagnosis/treatment options. I recommend them to all of my friends for non-emergency medical needs.
Went to the walk-in clinic on a Saturday...Friendly staff and service. The clinic updates their current waiting times on their Facebook page which is very helpful if you want to avoid waiting for 5 hours :-) I double checked their page, it was mentioned 45 minutes so I headed over and sure enough I waited about 55 minutes....which is still good time considering.
The doctors are great - if you make it past the rude receptionists. Every experience over the last few years with these ladies has been unpleasant. Having worked at a Dr's office myself, I am shocked by the way they handle people who are clearly only there because they are in medical distress themselves or with a family member. Rude, short with people, snappy, and degrading in the way they speak. You will stand there feeling like an idiot for a long time before they even make eye contact with you to let you know they will be a minute. Basic human compassion is missing here as well as courteous receptionist manners. It unfortunately isn't worth it to see the Dr's here, and we have found a new Dr. / Clinic.
Walked in at 520, was told a 90min-120min wait. Asked the lady at the desk if I could run to sobeys(same parking lot) and she said it would be ok. Was back by 620 and just sat right down. At 745 I was still waiting, I asked her where I was on the list and she said my name was called while I was gone and would now have to wait another 30min to get in. You can't tell someone 90 minutes minimum and then call their name within an hour. 815 now, waste of my night, not coming back again.
Nice big waiting room so you're not crammed in like sardines. Very friendly, accommodating doctors (mostly a younger bunch it seems), and, despite the other reviewer complaints, the receptionists seem friendly enough to me! I mean what do you want, a ticker tape parade as you walk through the door -- you only have to talk to them for a minute or two. As for the wait time gripes, just go in earlier in the morning or later in the evening and you can often get in lickety-split. They also post estimated wait times periodically, which I love.
Dr.Farhan is the best doctor in the universe!!
During regular business hours you can expect to wait 1-2 hours for walk in, just prepare for it. I've been here numerous times and they are very professional. I have found that their late hours (until 10 pm) are convenient and often have MUCH shorter waits. It is helpful when you really need to see a doctor.
I have one word about how I feel with this place and that is disgusted. My 5 year old daughter ended up throwing up in the waiting area. No nurses, or doctors came to see if she was ok or to ask how she was or made sure she was ok while we finished waiting. A nurse only came out to yell at me for letting her throw up on the floor and not in a bag then proceeded to hand me paper towel and told me to clean it up offering me no gloves, face mask, or even a mop. And when I asked for a bandaid to cover the large cut on my thumb (which is part of the reason we were there) they told me they would help me after I cleaned up. Walked out and will not go back. I strongly recommend the Acadia mediclinc just down the street.
Always get in quick for walk ins. Doctors are kind and knowledgable.
Receptionist staff is asturomnically extremely rude. This clinic staff lacks empathy, compassion and manners. Save yourself the frustration and time look elsewhere for a physician/clinic that upholds their morals in the healthcare industry.
Lakeside medical clinic is very unprofessional, the recepcionist was very rude, and on top of that could not take down the information i had given her and because of that i missed my appointment and was not hounered with another appointment. I would not recomend this medical facility.
Sitting here waiting on a “30 minute wait” 1.5 hours later .... some woman complains about her kids wait. The receptionist says there are 6 people ahead. Me being one. Then they bump her to the front of the line. LIKE WE DONT ALL HAVE THINGS WE NEED TO DO !!!!!
Coming to this clinic whenever we have an emergency on weekends. They were open on New year's day. We were lucky to see Dr. Baptist, he was very attentive to our case, was very understanding, invest a lot of his time and attention. He has different attitude and aproach towards patients then the majority of doctors here.
Good doctors. But the admin staff have been slow and awful every time I go here
The doctors at this clinic are knowledgeable, helpful and I enjoy seeing them wether it is my family doctor or a walk in doctor. Nonetheless the receptionists/front end staff are less than inviting on the phone or in person. Time & time again they come off as rude and short tempered.
Wonderful doc, short wait, huge wait room.
Receptionist is very rude and unmindful that she is dealing with patients. Closing time said 10 pm but didn't take us as walk in at 8.30, whereas accepted a guy as walk in after us and it wasn't mentioned at the website that not taking walk in patients.
Wait time is close to what is posted on Facebook and in waiting area, so no surprises there! Professional and knowledgeable doctors and staff
I've had 4-5 appointments within the last two weeks due to an alarming, rapidly changing rash and other problems. They were all on a walk in basis. Every single time, the receptionists were lovely and the doctors were patient and understanding. The wait times were exceptionally shorter than I've ever had to wait at any other clinic. If it weren't for Lakeside Medical Clinic's team efficiency, it would have taken me longer to discover that the rash indicated something much more serious. Thank you so much for being here for me!
First time here. The chairs in the waiting room are absolutely filthy like I've never seen. We moved a couple times before we found ones that didn't entirely gross us out........
Very un friendly receptionists...
I would give a 5 if it were for the doctors but the front desk staff are SO SO rude and act as if they dont care about you.... last time I was there I heard them gossiping about me very loud and making fun they are terrible
It's a free clinic so yea the wait times are ridiculously awful, but I have found the doctors here informative and helpful. I do have to say, I arrived without an appointment ten minutes before they opened. I was the 5th person in, first thing in the morning and I still had to wait about 40 minutes. However, it's clean and if you're prepared to wait I have found that the doctors are generally pretty good.
My family member deals with an anxiety disorder and has issues communicating with others in unkown environments. Unfortunately she had to go into this walk in clinic due to a health issue, which was serious enough for her to make the decision to do so knowing that she would struggle. Needless to say the experience was a disaster. The receptionist was so disrespectful, and could care less about how she was treating my sister, who was obviously struggling. I understand in this time medical facilities are over worked but I implore you to train your staff to be compassionate and recognize the alert signals for patients who struggle as some are, like my sister's blatantly obvious. The real upsetting part about this entire experience is my sister was left feeling embarrassed and it was not her fault because someone you employ went out of their way to make her feel the fool.
this clinic WILL pass blame onto the patient and will not admit when they are in the wrong, think twice about using this clinic....walked in for a prescription refill, they said 30 min wait with an option to wait in the car and get a phone call or wait inside in the waiting room... i chose to wait in the waiting room... long story short they were only calling people on the phone and neglecting people in the waiting room... so my 30 min wait turned into a 2.5 hour nightmare, when i tried to explain that many other walk-in patients were going in before me, I was told they weren't walk-ins (they were) after 2 complaints they finally caught on that they were only phoning cell phones and not checking the waiting area for patients!!!(THEN PROCEEDED TO BLAME ME FOR NOT HAVING MY CELL PHONE ON ME!!) INCOMPETENT AND DISORGANIZED STAFF... on call doctor- (Dr. Jared Prisciak) also proceeded to tell me they had made no mistake in their wait times, when it's clear they had... take responsibility and admit when you are in the wrong!!! MANY OTHER COMPETENT OFFICES AND DOCTORS OUT THERE WHO CARE ABOUT PATIENTS
i find that if you are polite they are polite. I have a doctor at that clinic and followed her there after she moved from our home town. I have used their walk in clinic and have never had a problem. My 2 special needs kids go there and we never feel rushed when talking to a doctor.
WORST receptionsts very rude and angry to patients. Doctors are not bad.
After giving them the benefit of the doubt and multiple experiences with the staff via phone and in-person I have concluded the receptionists are all extremely rude and unhelpful and that's just the way this office is. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. Which I have. My first call to another clinic was welcomed and I was actually treated like a person who mattered over the phone. Don't waste your or your child's time here.
