One of the rudest, most unprofessional receptionists we've ever dealt with. She is beyond ignorant. It was nothing but a roadblock when it came to our family trying to make an appointment with her. It's a shame too because the doctor himself is very nice. Needless to say not even 3 months with them and we already switched doctors. Best decision we've ever made.

I really like Dr. Barrett and the receptionist. I tell him whats wrong and it always gets thoroughly examined. Easy to book appointments and short wait times. Very professional.

I see that I'm not the only one who noticed that the receptionist is horrible at communicating. I asked "is the doctor accepting new patients?" and instead of saying yes or no, she kept asking me questions, like "is anyone in your family on medications? are you both working?" etc. Then she said to come in to book an appointment. It didn't sound like she was talking about him becoming our family doctor, just booking an appointment like a walk-in clinic. So I tried to say "It seems like you're only talking about an appointment, not about him becoming our family doctor. Is he accepting new patients?", but she tried to change the topic again. So I said it one more time, then she finally said "no". I was annoyed with her rapid questions, while ignoring my question, which would have ended the conversation much sooner, so I said with an annoyed tone "well, that's what I was asking...if he's taking new patients". Then she just hung up. It's hard to convey the level of her rudeness and the forcefulness of her attempt to control the conversation and evade my question, in just a typed description...if you actually HEARD the conversation, you would definitely be shocked that this person hasn't been fired. She's the reason the rating is so low! The doctor himself sounds like 4 or 5 stars, based on the other reviews. THE ONLY REASON SHE ISN'T FIRED IS BECAUSE SHE'S HIS WIFE! Poor guy :-(

Was a long time patient almost 15 years... Receptionist is one of the nastiest people I have ever encountered! It’s really a shame because the Dr is nice and knowledgeable.... After my last visit to the office I was recommended by my new Dr to report my experience with the medical college because of how wrong she is. The receptionist broke the law and refused me seeing my doctor due to an expired health card (My fault) she would not look at my private healthcare insurance or take a payment for my appointment just a straight up refusal for a pregnant women.... The lady has always been miserable which I was use to but I don’t feel comfortable ever going back after the last time! Only thing that would help is her being FIRED she has no business working as a receptionist for a doctor with her horrible people skills

Dr. Scott Barrett is an amazing Doctor and a very nice man, but it is such a shame that his receptionist is one of the most nastiest people I have ever met. She once lied to me saying that they don't own a fax machine so I would have to schedule another appointment for a copy of a prescription. I tried to get an appointment when my health card was expired (I know, my fault on that one) and refused my offer to just pay for the appointment out of pocket and hung up before I could inquire if my private insurance would suffice. Long Story Short: Great Doctor, terrible receptionist.

his receptionist is a horrible person, rude, does not listen to what you are saying at all, slams phone down she acts like a child! who thinks she knows it all!!!! he will lose a lot of patients having her answering the phone!! I have nvr been treated so horrible from someone when you are looking for help!!!! what is a doctor for when his receptionist answers for him instead of making you and appointment ???????????????????????????? i wish i could give this facility -2 stars but it’s not possible
