We've got all the feddbacks of real people like you who are purchasing the services of Crown Street Medical Clinic (Doctor) in Saint John (Canada).
Nowadays this business has a rating of 2.2 stars out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 41 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is really low, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we can be pretty sure that the assessment is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are happy with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Doctor corresponds to the category of Medical clinic.
Easy process and excellent service. Texted them to setup an appointment and received a call promptly. Appointment was within a window of an hour but since it was over the phone I found it was much less disruptive to my schedule. I appreciate the safety measures that are in place, this service was exactly what I was hoping for.
Lost access to a phone number after the repeated calls trying to book an appointment. Would not recommend a visit if you can avoid it. I would go elsewhere. They also should not be listed as a 'Walk in Clinic', as they are appointment only.
How is it possible when you only have one person answering the phone and someone starts calling through gets nothing but a busy signal at the exact time your told to call, then get a message five minutes later saying they are full??? No one can book that many appointments in five minutes.
If you got a sore back...pulled lower lumbar...that’s about all this clinic is good for. Their vetting process over the phone is terrible. I don’t know what these clinics are good for since they seem to only see patients with super specific issues. The doctors aren’t great. Some are okay. I had one doctor walk in and I told him I threw out my lower back and he asked me what I wanted. I was confused and explained more when he stopped me and said no - what do you need? I said “you mean like medication wise” and he said “yes.” I told him that the Flexeril is a miracle worker and Naproxen is junk. So off I went after 30 seconds to get some muscle relaxers. That’s really all the clinics good for. Shame.
I have tried calling this clinic for over an hour now. I just need to refill my pills I shouldn't have to sit on the phone for over an hour when all I need is to refill my pills.
This even a real clinic? I would avoid it like the plague
Meh,
Some problems with getting an appointment due to call in line but still got through after a few tries. Each time I got in the same day.Well kept place for cleanliness.
I had a car accident and had to go to the ER . Nothing broken even though my shoulder and arm looked deformed. Doctor put me out of work for 10 days and told me to start therapy and see me doctor ASAP. I started therapy and was told by my therapist to NOT go back to work, he said that there is damage to my shoulder and arm and I need an MRI. at the last minute, I received a call from my doctor's office telling me that my doctor has to cancel my appointment. So I called the clinic and told them my story, and that my therapist said that going back to work will cause significant damage to my shoulder, I have a very physically demanding job. Dr. Corscadden refused to see me even after telling him that he could call my physical therapist, and hung up on me. the receptionist called me back to tell me to go find another doctor. I begged them for help but all I got was a very rude doctor and receptionist. So now, I am going to work tomorrow with a messed up shoulder. It's sad that this is the way our health care system has turned out.
never at their post to answer phone at said time when phones are supposed to start being answered. Always 5-10 minutes late, THEN you can't get them. Would never go here again.
I find it ridiculous that 2 hours works of appointments fills up in 13 mins... started calling 5 mins before they opened and still didn't get through. Every time I try to get in there (or any of the clinics) it's the same deal.
Doctors are not worried about their 15 minute billing tom medicare than they've with patients. They just want their money from.medicsre rather than the well being of their patients. If your medical history takes longer than 5 minutes to explain them you are SOL. They spit take patients seriously. Go to the ER instead.tou will receive more comptionste care there compared to this clinic which is more worried about how many visits they can charge to Medicare that tue care of the patients Go to ER not here
During this COVID-19 phase, people may not know how this clinic is functioning, so I recommend you read here how it works as I just found out today while trying to make an appointment. Their phone message says you can call, email, text and Facebook them. I recommend that maybe you skip the phone call due to busy signals, long waits (and hideous on hold music). If you leave any kind of message for them, probably include your phone number so the receptionist can call you. I assume if you don't leave your phone number then they will reply to you and ask for it. But however you contact them, the way it works is that they will be asking you the following: Your name, your medical issue, medicare number & expiry date, birthdate, address, and family doctor if you have one. Then they will tell you approximately the time a doctor will call you. If it is to get a refill written for a prescription, they will tell you to call your pharmacy and ask them to fax the prescription to the clinic (fax 693-6688). Do that right away, because you will also be told a time the clinic doctor will call you a little later that day to confirm your prescription with you personally. Then the doctor will have the pharmacy refill your prescription. As I only called about a prescription, I can't say how calls about other medical issues might play out, but I assume that when the doctor calls you at the time you will be given, then you and the doctor will discuss your issue. I hear since people don't fully know how it works, many are trying more than one contact method at a time, like texting and then calling for example, but that of course is only adding to the long wait times for the receptionist(s) to get through all the calls and messages so it may be ideal to choose only one method of contact, or if you do message them but then end up calling, as I did, maybe just let them know to ignore whatever other message you may have left. ????
Called in they answered .... ask if I need and appointment I said yes please ... then she put me on hold and hung up on me.... :-( ...... my ears hurt .....
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. The receptionists are the rudest, worst, and least trained staff this country has ever seen. I had a frustrating situation that I was trying to sort out with them, and the lady on the phone would NOT let me even finish my sentence. She kept cutting me off without knowing what my concern fully was, and even hung up on me when she had nothing else to say. This clinic robbed me of money, and charged me by cash, when I was a Canadian Resident. They claimed that they were "unable to bill my province" and made me pay cash and refused to even properly try to bill my province. In conclusion, this clinic stole money from me, wouldn't let me speak, and hung up the phone on me when I tried to sort out the situation. They will do ANYTHING except take responsibility and actually help out patients. They are selfish and absolutely horrible. This is the worst clinic experience I have EVER been through. If they try to delete this review, I will repost it again so the world knows the type of staff that work there.
Why does booking an appointment feel like trying to win a call-in radio contest? I don't need a trip to Spain, I just want my meds refilled. Is this 1946? Why is there only one person taking phone appointments?? I have so many questions.
It's aight. Got tested, a prescription, and was done. They're not around to answer phones much though.
My go-to being an orphan patient. The phone system can be a little funky to navigate (Try to start calling at 5:10-5:15 on weekdays as sometimes the lines don't open right away. The doctors are great, the staff is great and I don't have to spend 2 years of my life getting my head snapped off at St.Joes or waiting in the ER at the regional. What's not to love?
Called for a doctor's note, which I pay 20$ for, and they denied me. Was out of work all week with a kidney infection. Got antibiotics but was in so much pain & discomfort that I didnt think to get a note at the time. The lady said they couldn't give me a note because I'm no longer in pain. That is ridicilous.
Not a bad clinic
The Saint John medical clinics have overall poor service, and sadly this one is no exception. Every attempt to get an appointment yields "We don't look after that here, you have to go to the hospital" for near every non-urgent inquiry I have ever placed (I have made similar complaints in the past for other clinics within the city). This would be less frustrating if I have not witnessed other people who had similar concerns/issues, and were admitted without a problem (both while at the clinic from a previous rare visit, or knowing someone who went there and was accepted). Not everyone whispers why they are there, so one inadvertently hears details they wish they hadn't at these visits. The inconsistencies of who gets an appointment showcases the system cannot be relied on. This is unfortunate: not everyone has 4 to 6 hours (minimum) in emergency at St Joe's or Regional for each non-urgent concern, simply to be rushed through a diagnosis because there's too many people there. I gave 2/5 stars instead of 1/5, as they admitted me once before for a non-urgent issue. That was not a particularly pleasant visit, but they at least took me in that evening. Overall review: would not recommend this location.
Wasn't open, hard to make an appointment.
Tried calling to setup a Medical Fitness Report for school. Line busy for 2 hours straight so far. There should be a call Queue so I don't have to keep redialing the one assistant who's being held on the phone.
Friendly and efficient! Love the text capability for booking an appointment.
They are really fast for a walkin the doctors are great and the person at the desk is always sweet. They deal with so much in a day I am thankful they are there.
Called 38 times, no answer. I went to book an appt and the admin looked up and said you have to call. How does it book up so fast? She needs an assistant!
COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. A USELESS OPERATION. 185 TIMES I CALLED YOUR NUMBER AND NOTHING. PATHETIC
This clinic is worst even the doctors they are not listening the patient problems seriously i visit 2 time and i had fever on that time and the doctor even didnot check my temperature, every time they have same answer its just a viral nothing else.
Call right at 11, or an hour before they open. If you get a busy signal, keep calling back until you can wait on the line to book an appointment. The waiting room is nice, the receptionist was pleasant, and the doctor was friendly and efficient. For my 12:30 appointment, I think I was seen 20 minutes late or so--not the end of the world.
Called from 11 am to 1230 pm and they didn’t seem to be taking phone calls.
Horroble clinic called got told me they cant help me with a doctors note for back pain why are u even a clinic
