This doctor (whom is a HE as HE so rudely pointed out in another negative review that was clearly speaking about his receptionist) cancelled an appointment because we, the support worker, were 2 minutes late for our patient’s appointment due to the construction nearby. This caused issues with the treatment plan developed for his patient and hindered it greatly. He also was very rude to this same patient and sped thru her treatment due to her not being able to lay down on his table quickly enough (due to a disability). Very very rude and unacceptable behaviour from any medical professional in my opinion. As someone who supports those with disabilities, I am glad we found another doctor willing to actually care for their patients.

Doctor Atkins is all about his own schedule and is less than accommodating for his patients. He is one of those doctors using the system for his own personal gain. A patient is allowed only one issue per visit, yet his hours are terrible. Avoid this man if you can.

Both the nurse I previously saw and the doctor himself are dismissive and apathetic. They neglect proper testing and will either medicate or refer based mostly on personal opinion. It has also become apparent that they will not keep accurate records, judging from what I've been told was in my file and how it was not at all true. If you have a real problem and aren't sure of the cause, I would suggest finding an office where they can at least pretend to care. Might be a good option if all you're looking for is a prescription.

So I had an apt on October 5th and she called my husband because she didn't have my number so I called her back as my husband was at work and gave her my number, I had 2 more appointments after and one was very important and that was for today did she call me ? Nope she called my husband all 3 times and still never called me even tho I gave my number. I'm annoyed now. I did call the office at 4 30 when NO one called me, so it would have been professional if someone would have called myself and not call my husband and let it ring once and hang up.

I enjoy Dr. Atkins. He has always gone above and beyond for me. I trust his expertise and feel comfortable in his office. He is always on time for my appointments and never makes me feel rushed. His receptionist Janie is very enjoyable as well. She is great at her job.

Treated me very nicely, was professional, and I liked the homey atmosphere. Always a plus when greeted by a hypoallergenic dog as well! I wish he was taking patients. I'm usually very uncomfortable with doctors and I wasn't with Dr Atkins and his team members.

I just wanted to say that my experience with the Doctor has been nothing but pleasant. He is a knowledgeable and dedicated Doc, and I really appreciate not having to wait for hours in the office!!! Also the ladies are kind and friendly.....thank you all for your dedication and fab service!

Dr. Atkins is not a very good doctor, I had an MRI done and Dr. Atkins failed to tell me about my 5 protruding discs and my osteoarthritis. I went to another doctor to find this out, glad I got a second opinion. I now have a new family doctor.
