I have been very lucky to have Dr. Judit Pungur as my GP for at least 20 years if not longer. Dr. Pungur and Dr. Pungur Farrell are truly doctors that care about their patients. They give you their time and if your situation requires additional time they will spend with you or will make sure you get a quick follow-up appointment where they can spend the needed time. Especially your annual physical is not a just quick run through!
Dr. Pungur is caring and empathetic. She listens very carefully to her patients. She understands that wellbeing is not only physical but also applies to your mental wellness as well.
When she wants to prescribe me medication or order a test, she asks me if I am okay with that, she doesn't assume that the patient is going to always agree. She explains how the medication works or why she wants a certain test to be done. The benefits and if any, drawbacks.
Dr. Pungur is easy going and an open caring doctor. My quality of life, in part is due to her not just handing me medication - she advocates for me, she educates me and she encourages me.
A shout out for the administration staff - please cut them some slack, this is a very busy office. Not only do they book your appointments, they have a lot of paperwork, test results and filing they are responsible for. Watching them they do an admirable job of juggling all the work they have.
I hope this helps....when it comes to any service we as consumers, in this case patients receive is less than what we expect we can be very negative, but sometimes we need to sit back and think of the whole experience and we need to realize that sometimes things go sideways. The best thing to do is to discuss it with the service provider and give them the benefit of the doubt - many do with you and me.
