We looked for a family doctor for a while that pushes lifestyle not meds. Dr. Curtis is helpful and caring. Great with kids too. Waiting room is clean-ish, and wait times are better then I have been elsewhere in the city. I even had a walk in and was out rather quick. Unfortunately the front staff are very difficult, and super rude. They don’t call back when leaving a message for appointments and questions. And they expect you to book an appointment for minor things, like asking if the doctor received a fax from the pharmacy (that sent it 3 times within 2 weeks) to just sign and send it back to the pharmacy. It’s unfortunate that the front staff are causing most of the lower ratings, because he’s an awesome doctor.

Doctors are great, most of the receptionist staff members are great. However, one woman is rude. I didn't know about the 24 hour reschedule rule. Plus I literally just made my appointment the day before. She needs an attitude adjustment. Sick people don't want to be made to feel like garbage when they're already not doing the best.

Shawn Mercer

I have never had an issue inside this clinic other than maybe waiting awhile when the place was packed but hey that's life sometimes

Sapir Atiya

We love our family physician Dr. Adams. He’s very nice and professional! He’s always listening to your concerns and address them with the most respect. I gave 4 because the waiting time is so long once you get to the clinic.

I came in to see a Dr for a WCB claim and he never sent my prescriptions to my pharmacy. I called and left messages several times, never recieved a call back. When I went down and complained they said "too bad" I will never go here again and I encourage everyone to avoid this place. Its incompetent and has zero compassion for its customers

I was asking the front desk if I can use the bathroom, she just replied, Nope, its for patient only. I did not argue, but I felt very disappointed when you are refused with that stupid excuse.

It's a walk-in, so of course it will be difficult to predict what your wait is going to be like. People complaining that a walk-in wait is more than an hour... not sure what you expect from a walk-in clinic. And people complaining the doctor is only spending 5 or 10 minutes -- if the doctor can get a correct diagnosis quickly and can explain to you what you need to do and most importantly, what to watch for, I'm happy with that too. If I need a longer consult, I make an appointment to see our regular doctor. This place is pretty busy and no one has time here for idle chit chat -- everyone just gets straight down to business. Been to this clinic about six times, always drop in. Every time, we are able to get in quickly (I count a one hour wait as "quick" at a walk-in clinic). A couple times, we were able to see Dr. Hochban, whom I found to be thorough and efficient. A couple times we got Dr. Nwadike -- same assessment. The first visit, I did not have all day to wait, so I asked the front desk staff how long it would be. They were able to give me an estimate that was accurate. On that visit, I thought my school-aged kid had impetigo, based on what a friend's kid supposedly had. Dr. Hochban considered my request for antibiotics, then examined the rash and diplomatically diagnosed us with (viral) hand-foot-mouth. This explained why we caught the disease from a kid who was not supposed to be contagious (the friend's doctor had given antibiotics, which should have prevented the spread had it actually been impetigo). It also explained why the rest of the family had been experiencing a wide array of symptoms that were not rashes. The hand-foot-mouth subsided on its own, as Dr. H said it would after a few days. Having a correct diagnosis allowed us to self-isolate and contain the disease to our immediate family, without taking an unnecessary round of antibiotics. Second visit, I was quite desperate to see someone as my son was crying about his sore ear after school. We arrived at the clinic at 5:40 p.m. on a Monday evening, and I was prepared to hunker down for the long haul because the kid was looking so sick. Had we not gotten in, I may have ended up at the emergency. Fortunately, Dr. Hochban was able to take a quick look and determine that my baby's eardrums were not about to rupture. Amazingly, we were in and out of the clinic in *twenty minutes*. Latest visit, went in worried my kid had broken finger. Clinic was *packed* and I was not hopeful. Receptionist said it would be an hour -- I was dubious, but she was right. Walked across the street with our x-ray requisition. Got an x-ray in about 40 minutes and headed back to the clinic, worried we'd have to wait in the queue again, but we were in and out of there in 10 minutes for Dr. Nwadike to look at the x-ray and advise us. Whole situation took under two hours. Of course, it would be nice to have some extras like: free wifi, cell phone charging station, name tags on the doctors, maybe a coffee machine. But assessing this place purely on what walk-in clinics are supposed to do, I am really happy with the service there. It is a great resource and hasn't let me down yet.

Walk ins seem to take priority over bookings. So no point making a booking as you'll sit there for hours watching your doctor take people walking in with no appointment.

Very unprofessional and lacks good work ethics. 2 hours of wait, I was not allowed to explain the severeness of work related injury I came for. Doctor Shefali rather be on her phone or gist with staff! It was so disappointing that my work called and told me to go to a different clinic because the report was poorly written and I wasn’t properly examined! another doctor confirmed that I was not checked at all.

If this is healthcare, then we are in deep trouble. wanted to get a prescription renewed. I did not want to come into the clinic since... well we’re in a pandemic. was told the Dr. Curtis Cameron will call me to simply renew a prescription, which I had my pharmacist send a form for. Was also told he would call whenever he had time, which is so vague.Im sure a consultation fee would be charged. After not hearing from him I called the clinic and Gave my opinion on the way the Overbrook, keep the patients waiting if you do have an appointment for about an hour an hour and a half. And then tell you the doctor will call whenever. And for Pointing out the obvious I got a lot letter from Dr. curtis saying he could no longer be my doctor due to how I treated his staff. How about the way that their patients are treated? Guess it’s of no concern of theirs.

Terrible service. Had an appointment, waited for over an hour anyway. Then I finally get in Dr. Adams takes a call and I sit in the room waiting another 20 minutes and just end up leaving. Wasting 2 hours that I need to make up at work.

This seems to be a very busy clinic. I had a small problem I wanted to get checked out, nothing urgent. The first time I walked in here, it was packed - every seat was taken. There was at least 20 people waiting, so I turned around and went out the door. The second time I showed up, there was about 55 minutes to closing time. They told me they just took their last patient (there was around 10 people waiting). I asked if there's a time when it's a little slower, but the receptionist said there's no such pattern. I didn't think it was necessary to camp outside the door before they open, so I went to the clinic about 15 minutes after they opened. There was already around 10 people waiting, but I decided to stick around and wait it out this time. It took close to 50 minutes to see a doctor. The doctor said I was fine and dismissed me within a couple minutes. He was vague on the details, so I had to press for a little more info. He answered all my questions, though his answers were as brief as possible. The impression I got from this clinic is: -Very busy -No time to waste on chatter -Not too friendly -Aims to get the job done efficiently I suppose it's a good thing if the doctors aren't too talkative with patients. Otherwise, the wait times would probably be doubled or tripled. They seem to be doing the best they can given the circumstances.

Mbwa Koko

Dr Nwadike and Dr Hochban are walk in doctors who are very thorough despite seeing you for a short while. Ask for them and also ask when they are on duty so you can see them as long as you don't need something that only a family doctor can get you.

Sara W

They do the best they can under pretty bad circumstances. Not enough physicians to cope with the masses that turn up, inadequate facilities etc. Doctors regularly leave and go elsewhere to work. Long wait times for patients most days. Today there was actually a long line up of walk-in patients at the reception desk. Never seen it so bad. Some of the receptionists are very abrupt and rude. They also have poor personal habits like chewing gum and picking their noses in front of people. This clinic is a perfect example of the quality breakdown in medical services in Canada. It's like a clinic in a Third World country like El Salvador.

Simply 4 you

Poor Service, Horrible staff, No work ethics at all. They dont know how to deal with Customers. There are tons of clinics in Regina. I will req everyone not to waste there time and money by visiting this Clinic. Simply horrible and rude staff.

I had booked a 1:40pm appointment with my family physician which was scheduled for today. I was seen at 1:55pm. Not a bad delay based on previous experience. Unfortunately I was told today that I have too many issues to discuss. I have heard this on numerous occasions previously. I felt compassionate on those previous occasions as it's a busy place. Based on those occurrences I have really tried to get all my facts together and written on paper to help expedite visits as I had almost become afraid of asking questions or forgetting certain details. As the appointment was coming to a conclusion I reminded my doctor that my visit had only been 12min. The rebutle was if everyone took 12min, there would be issues with scheduling and certain personal commitments. So what is an appropriate amount of time for an appointment I wonder??

Short-staffed, you'll wait 2 1/2 hours to see a doctor

Brittany Agecoutay

I went their on Sun march 10 at 3 p.m. and they told me they were full and to come back tomorrow. I only see two people sitting there and the place didnt close till 5. So, I tried again today march 11 at 6 p.m. and the receptionst told me they are full even tho they dont close for another 2 hours!! And to try again tomorrow. I see a trend here, they dont let anyone in two hours before closing. Why call it a walk in clinic if your going to deny anyone trying to come in the last two hours? I worked all day and I tried very hard to make it when I was done work. They dont care, very poor work ethics. If you do go there, call first is all I can suggest

Good doctors, sub-par reception and scheduling. If you make an appointment you will still need to wait 1-2 hours for it. Might as well just walk in and wait. Had an appointment at 10:30am, the office called at 10:04 to tell me it was canceled. 05/2/2021 Waited for 5 minutes in the lobby, Then went to exam room where we waited another hour. Very rushed when DR finally arrives. Can only ask about one thing. Very poor experience.

Very busy and long waits. Doctors rush through patients and appointments.

Terrible clinic. Don't bother going here, you will get the total runaround and it will take a month before you can book an appointment with your doctor. Staff doesn't care at all about patients, I've been waiting for a call back from their nurses station for 2 weeks, just called again and still nothing. I'm pretty sure most of the people working there are relatives and not the most qualified, it's pretty obvious with their lack of service and lack of empathy.

Vince Carter

Absolutely worst clinic staffs. Staffs let their phone ring and ring. Never picks up. The nursing station....good luck speaking to a nurse whether you are calling from healthcare facility or not. I'm talking about calling for over again and again on different hours...still dont pick up...dont tell me you guys are busy all those times. It explains because when i come in as patient all the staffs do is talk, laugh, and sit around. Explains very well . Scheduling receptionist never picks up phone as well. I have seen them ignore while there. EVER WONDERED WHY THIS PLACE HAS 2.4 STAR??? THERE IS A REASON WHY OTHERS ARE GIVING BAD REVIEWS Doctors there are decent but these staffs you got needs to be replaced or taught what CUSTOMER OR PATIENT CENTERED CARE MEANS FIRST. I'll be switching places. Since I get a hold of scheduling, nursing station, and doctors line. For over 3 hrs No more wasting time

Rasmus de la Rue

Concerning Walk-ins: Go here if you have a UTI and want quick meds, not if you have actual health problems. They want you out of their rooms before you even get the chance to warm the seat you've taken.

Overall, this is the best clinic I've been to in the city. Wait times are average, and Dr Curtis and Dr. Cameron are both excellent, attentive and caring doctors.

Tanieshia Brass-Windigo

I called and was told their was only 3 people waiting. So I left my name and answered all the questions they asked then sat down. People came in after me were getting in before me. I was sitting near the desk so I heard they were all walk ins. After sitting there for over a hour I got up and asked how long the wait will be. Here the front desk lady didn't even put my file with the other patients!! When I asked if my name was even there she was like "your name should be here but it's not showing up" uhhh well you were the one who took my name! Then she had the nerve to be upset and blame me for her mistake! So unprofessional

We took our 18 month old daughter to this clinic in the evening of Feb 10/20. Our daughter is a busy child. Rather than hold her while she cries (and annoys the other people waiting) the front reception staff and Dr. Hochban suggested we let her walk around the waiting room and hallways by the examination rooms. This kept everyone in the building happy except for the Office Manager (an older woman with white hair and glasses). We were consistently met with dirty looks, rolling eyes and very audible scoffs when our daughter (who we closely supervised) was near her office. The Office Manager actually slammed her door very aggressively on multiple occasions as our daughter walked passed her office. I have never been exposed to such immature and unprofessional behavior from a "healthcare professional". Perhaps she was having a bad day. Regardless, she should be ashamed and embarrassed by her behavior. I assume this woman has never had children. If it wasn't for the excellent service and care provided by the front reception staff and Dr. Hochban I would have given 1 star. Thank you again Dr. Hochban for your help!

Julian Stoeber

Almst a 3 hour wait time. The doc spent maybe 5 maybe 10 minutes with me tops.

Jesse Campbell

Worst walk in clinic ever I went there for my medical problems the doctor laughed at me also I got some xrays done near by and want to know my results the doctor hasn't called me and I can never get a hold of them over the phone the receptionist tells me she can't tell me anything and puts me thru to the nurses station and they never answer there phone or return my messages ....it's been over 1 month trying to get a hold of them since I live outta town now...

Shantell Hamel

I recommend seeing Dr. C Curtis. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I got the sense that he cares about his job which is refreshing for a walk-in clinic where it's usually rushed. I will be back again. :)

I’ve NEVER had a bad experience visiting my doctor at this clinic. Mr. Dr. Paul is always willing to listen to what I have to say and always helps me out. He genuinely cares and I feel welcomed each and every time I have to make an appointment to see him. He talks to you, asks you how you are, what you’ve been up to, always in your best interest. Thankful I found such a kind doctor. Reception always seems busy, sometimes calls and lines take longer than expected.

Josh

The reception staff need much better training.

Almaira Yumol

My mom went to this Dr Paul to request an ultrasound for her injury when she slipped at work because she couldn't walk long and it is causing so much pain, and this Dr said that she doesn't need an ultrasond because it is a waste of resources. We are paying the right taxes who is he to denied us our resources. What kind of a doctor Would say that to a patient who is very in pain. I would never come back to this kind of doctor.

Fidelity Munezero

From my experience is if you can get a chance to talk to Leanda one of the receptionists that cares and takes her time to listen and makes sure you get what you need. I talked to 3 different receptionists, and think that I was scheduled for an appointment and waited a whole day until I get that nice lady to help me . Thank you again Leanda????????

Aaron

Doctor was very rude and rushed me out in 2 minutes after waiting an hour and a half.

Horrible wait times with having an appointment

Blake Walchuk

Horrible service, horrible scheduling, they make you pay to reschedule when the receptionist writes the appointment down wrong.. don’t waste your time.

Ammar Vohra

They wont tell you about their clinic charges upfront and then surprise you with a big invoice after 10 days. I do not recommend it. Go their at your OWN RISK.

Nothing but ducks around here, all i heard was plenty of quacking.

Myself, my wife and son went there as regulars for years and almost all the time the appointment time was always late. A 3 pm appointment would usually be 4:30. The staff were mostly rude, often my Dr. was not even there and I'd find this out after waiting for over an hour. Avoid this place if you can. After years of this abuse, we moved on.

Swati G

More than 1 hour wait time...

I was in there last week and then again just this past Saturday. Doctors are amazing at this clinic! Staff needs some work though. You can tell who doesn’t like their job and who does. It’s tough when you go in there and you have poor/negative attitudes all around. There is however a blonde lady that works there though and she’s amazing! So kind hearted and sincere and always willing to help out. Highly recommend dealing with her of you go in there. I just wish I remembered her name but she’s the only blonde one there. Happy thanksgiving everyone!!

Alvin Vitali

Dr. Tsang helped one of my friends at this clinic. He said that she is very professional and knows her stuff. He was in and out quickly. Unfortunately, he said that his own family doctor is (who also happens to be with this clinic) is not as good, with him not being available at all. This clinic has a mix of really good doctors and some really bad ones.

Long waits every time. Even if you have an appointment expect to wait well over an hour. Slow service then when you finally see the doctor you feel extremely rushed and like they just don't care. I try to avoid this clinic at all costs but one of the only ones open on a Sunday so I had to go.

First of all- I was to complete a micro swab ( not COVID) but the swab the doc gave me was EXPIRED! So then I had to return back to the clinic to switch it out. I waited outside in minus 40 for 10 mins for the clinic was to open its doors. The office assistant didn’t even acknowledge my presence until I knocked on the window and she then opened the door indicating “ we’re running a little late today”... not my problem. I then had to go to the back office where the “nurse” wasn’t wearing her mask and then took time to find one prior to asking me what I needed. She then took my old packaged swab and gave me ANOTHER EXPIRED swab! I then told her politely “ this one is also expired”. No apologies or even a kind glance. She grabbed it and I finally received appropriate healthcare. Non of this should have happened.

A shining example of medical corruption, Dr, Paul is a scumbags through and through, tries to make advances on women who are on methadone, pure evil scumbags to do that, I'm trying to get evidence of his malpractice so if anyone else has a story about this criminal named Dr, Paul I encourage you to share it.

My daughter and I attended this clinic on 10/04. The receptionist at the front was absolutely amazing and heard our story and concerns. We were able to see Dr. Hochban who was also amazing. He listened and was very caring. I can't say enough good things about this clinic and the way we were treated. Amazing service and next time I need a walk-in I will certainly drive to this one.

Jenny Rousseau

I still had to wait, even with having an appointment. Horrendous. The reception and scheduling is horrible. If you can, go elsewhere. Unless you love having your time wasted.
