I wish I could give less than one star. Waited two hours to see dr's assistant, who said that my son condition could only be treated by two medications, but one was only for adults so he would give the other. Ended up getting the prescription made out for the adult medication and they wouldn't change it. Went to a pediatrician who said under no circumstances could my son take what was prescribed without adverse effects. I wouldn't go back here if my only other option was dying.

My son has been sick for three days. Came and waited over an hour to see a doctor. A doctor never came into the room to see us. We ended up going home and will go elsewhere.

The receptionist is very rude and has a lot of attitude. I waited over 3 hours for service after calling ahead and being told that my wait would only be 2 hours. No one came to say anything about why i waited so long and when asked how much longer and to complain about the wait she then told me to ask the doctor why hes moving so slow and that she doesnt predict the time.

I've had to go to this clinic on occasions where my family Dr in st catharines is not available to see me. This clinic is always PACKED! There is always a perpetual wait time. Staff are kind and professional. But the 1 hour to 2 hour wait times are abhorrent. I recommend getting 5 doctors in there to cut down wait times instead of only having ONE physician breaking his back to speedy Gonzalez style serve everyone.

Although I was treated appropriately for a bladder infection, it was very upsetting to go into a dirty bathroom to give my sample. The next visit I disclosed more personal information and my anxiety medication that had helped me for 20 years was diminished to “just use melatonin “. No withdrawal time . I can not provide anything to encourage anyone to go to this clinic other than a minor emergency.

I'm not sure where all the nice and fabricated comments from, I don't think that is the true reflections at Medicare Clinics @ South Pelham Road (Welland) walk - in - Clinic. I sent my family there three times for care but were not satisfied until we walked out there on the third time very disappointed. The reception staffs are not doing their job well, they don't call are text a reminder for your appointment. They don't give you options to choose from in terms of appointment making. I think the receptionists don't care about their patients. I missed my appointment time and decided to walk -in. She refuse the walk-in but gave the following week appointment date without asking me if the day will work for me or not. We are living in the world where nothing is working perfect and I expect likewise from them but if they treat all their patients like this attitude , this branch doors will not be open for long.

It's evident this place can see all the comments about the rude receptionists for quite awhile and clearly have done nothing about it. Brought my son in around 3pm and the receptionist was arguing without listening. My son was screaming in pain and not the slightest look of concern on her face. Older blonde woman in 50s-60s didn't get her name but what kind of person can watch a kid in agony and not flinch. Disturbing honestly.

This clinic is horrendous. I have been here 3 times now and evetime they book me in with a nurse practitioner who is pushy overbearing and wont listen to what the problem is. She simply prescribes an ineffective pill and send me away. She seems very uneducated and should not persue this career path it will be doing the health care system a large injustice. The front staff are equally uninterested in helping anyone who comes in and your lucky if they look up from their phones when you walk in. Seriously go ANYWHERE but here.

Waited 4hrs to receive a phone call consultation due to upper respiratory problems. Was give completely 2 different response when I walked into clinic. The 2nd receptionist was completely unprofessional and so rude probably why I never got the call. So no w I get to suffer anoher night

So, we went there over two months ago. The doctor barely spent 5 minutes with us. So we got a referral for an MRI. We had to contact them to even get the time and date for the appointment. We haven't heard anything. We called today, reception said they'd call us later that day for the results. We haven't heard from them. So we called again, and guess what? Phones lines were disconnected (3 hours before close). Honestly, if you need medical help, please do yourself a favour and stay far far away from here.

This visit, wed dec 22nd was for sinus pain. Website said little busy. Was in and out in an hour. Doctor very nice and knowledgable. Was there 6 months ago for something and had differant doctor and same outcome. Quick and polite

Worst walk in clinic I’ve ever been too! Very rude receptionist Made me wait in the small room for 35 minutes told me 3 times the doctor was coming now , and saw them take people that were after me before me not impressed definitely worst experience ever, they deserve a Nostar! Get new staff!! And avoid this clinic if you can

Attended this walk-in clinic because my Dr. is not available today. I have a prescription indicating I have a sprained foot as well as a note that indicated I was to be off. All I needed was a form to be filled out in order to add an extension to my time off, and the Physician would not fill it out without a copy of my xray. Ok, fine...but then when signing the release of Medical documentation, I was told it would take at least until the end of the week to obtain this because their scanner isn't working and has not been working for a week. Ridiculous! What a waste of time!!!! I just need a Physician's assessment!!!

Went to two clinics to ask to look at a sore under my foot. Could not help me then went here and doctor examined it and froze the protruding pimples hurting my heal. Gave ne suggestion to aid in healing and pain. Was only 20 min wait

Please don’t waste your time coming here they don’t even have a proper training as a receptionist I called a day before to see the dr for my TB test the receptionist told me come we can do it next day I went and there was another receptionist she said no I can’t let you go inside you have to bring paper from your family Dr really ? She even have a Manor to talk to the patient honestly someone should follow with these receptionist .

Everytime I call the clinic on South Pelham Rd Welland Ontario... The Secretaries are ignorant... If you don't like your job ..go somewhere else.. world is bad enough ..that when your not well ..you get talked to like you just interrupted there coffee or your lower then they are ...!! .. WORK ON YOUR BED SIDE MANNER ..IS MY SUGGESTION!!? They absolutely do not rate!! Get zero stars from me..but it makes u push one

1) i made an appointment with a specific doctor but was passed on to someone else when I arrived 2) I had a breathing test at the Niagara Medcare in November, they are supposedly still looking for the results. It is now March 18. I ask to have it redone but they are stalling 3) my pharmacy sent for a prescription refill 36 hours ago. They say they didn't receive it. So now have me sitting for an extended period of time. I AM NOT HAPPY!

We moved to Welland this fall and were pleased to find this clinic close by. The receptionist and lab tech is so kind and friendly. The doctors have been very thorough and easy to reach. So far a very pleasant experience in such an uncertain time! Thank you for your responsiveness and care!

Explained my concern on the phone, was told to come in, came in immediately, and was met by a very rude receptionist who listened to my concern and then rudely told me that the doctor will not help me with that, scolded me for coming in five minutes later than expected, looked at me as if waiting for me to leave, shrugged, and that was that. Those who do not wish to have their time wasted would be best advised to go literally anywhere else.

My second visit to this clinic was horrible My mom had an appointment for 3pm on a Sunday, we got there at 2:50, the receptionist said she wasnt in the system and it was a 3 hour wait.I was really unhappy about this because how do you tell a 93 yr old woman to sit for 3 hours when I knew i had an appointment. I did finally see the assistant but was not happy at all. I now need to make another appointment for my mom for a follow up on her bloodwork I really hope i dont have to go through this again. Should i call for appointment for go in to make it?

When my doctor closed his practice I decided to make this my new primary care because it is close to home and I like the walk in and open 7 days aspect since I have a pretty uneven medical situation that can hit on the weekend. It went well and I was able to get care and the referrals I needed. I understand not having coughing people in the office without a test and was fine to connect on the phone but I have not been able to connect with anyone since Saturday, it is Wednesday. I got my care in the ER and will be investigating other primary care physicians.

I brought my son in yesterday December 27th around 2:30pm and when i went in i was greeted by the receptionist and she asked for the cause of my visit it was for my 16 month old as he just had 1 symptom which was a cough no other symptoms was eating drinking playing was fine when i brought him in. well than i was blindsided when the receptionist told me that the healthcare team at this location and Drs wont see him and "refuse" to see him as he has 1 covid 19 symptom and the only way was for him to go get a covid test which takes 24-72 hours for results. the fact that you get told your get refused healthcare for a baby blows my mind and is disgusting practice this is also a MAJOR LIABILITY on the Clinic.she referred me to call the virtual Dr number and even they told me he should be seen by a physician but still prescribed me amoxocillan. I am writting a complaint to the nurses and Doctors college.

Don't bother. Doctor's assistant, not a doctor, no clue. So he's a student then, I'd say year 1 student of 6 to become a doctor. But I didn't know that until I got there, I had asked for a doctors appointment last week. Wasted our time today, had booked my child in for age 12 innoculations, every walk in clinic has access to medical files via health card no. I know that much as an RN. But this man wanted to tell me, and I'm am RN that if they had the same injections before they don't get it again. Also that they had no access to his records, nonsense every walk in clinic has access. Age 12 months etc and any prior to those due now, ARE all needed and on time. Better is if he'd ust said he doesn't have a clue not know what he's doing as that's far more accurate and honest. Then I'd not have had to educate him in it, as I did. But RNs do train student and junior doctors, at least where I come from they do. Incompetent is a better word. I know Welland is short of doctor's but seriously? I won't bother coming here again, someone that has no clue as to what they are doing is dangerous. I'll stick with the one that does know what they're doing in Niagara falls instead, full fledged doctor's too not an assistant. Don't waste your time here.

I went on December 22nd 2021. When I first walked in, one receptionist was busy helping someone fill out their covid screening, and the other receptionist never looked up from her computer to offer to help me. (what was the point of her being there, then? She didn't help the next person who came in while the first receptionist was away from the desk, either. I didn't see her help a single person the entire time I was waiting). I waited for an hour in the waiting room, then another 45 minutes in the exam room to be seen by a physician assistant (they don't have doctors here, just physician assistants), even though there were only 3 or 4 people ahead of me, and they told me the wait would be about an hour (I seriously started to wonder after 30 minutes in the exam room, if they forgot I was there) only to be told they weren't equipped to help me, and I should go to a hospital. I told them what my issue was when I spoke to the receptionist. I don't know why they couldn't have told me then that they couldn't help me, so I wouldn't have had to waste nearly 2 hours. The wait was never this long when the previous doctor was running this clinic. When I went to the hospital, I was in and out in less than half an hour with a prescription. I won't be going back to this clinic.
