What's the point of a walk in-clinic, if you can't walk-in? Had to go to the ER and wait well over an hour to be seen for something that could have been a quick and easy 15 minutes. Was told they were only taking appointments (might as well set an appointment at an actual hospital with half decent doctors), all appointment slots were full, and they would not be opening again for two days. May as well shut the clinic down entirely for all the good it does.

Can’t get an answer on the phone ever. Literally called hundreds of times only to get the answering machine with no other options or ways of booking appointments. What are we suppose to do, clog up the EDs for routine medical needs? Sad.

I can’t get a hold of anyone there. I hear the ignore message over and over in my head ‘Aberdeen Walkin clinic is on the other line’. I’ve called hundreds of times and no one answers. This is our socialized medicine at work. Give me my tax dollars back and I’ll find a doctor that wants my business. I hated leaving even the one star. That’s my rant for the day lol

Refused to get medical help due to not being vaccinated yet..(waiting for appointment) I have been misdiagnosed 3 times in my life going there. One caused me to have a serious issue of a blood clot. I personally feel the doctor here is very uneducated in the medical field and investigation should be done here. I will sit at the adberdeen for 12 hours before going back.

worst place to get medical, if you can ever get in, crazy, 100 phone calls still not in, and waits at the er are 8 plus hrs..

The hours on this site is not even close to what actually is available, I called in after 2pm to book and was told they start taking bookings at 10am and open from 1-5pm, when I mentioned this listing online the woman got all defensive and basically called me a liar that was no such listing. I didn't appreciate the attitude nor the misinformation.

This is the absolute worse place for care. You can try to book an appointment. Wish you luck ! You can’t get through and they only have a very small window to get an appointment, if you can get through to the office. Your options are near to none especially since I don’t have a family doctor like many other residents. It’s so upsetting. They need to provide better care longer availability other than a few hours in the afternoon. It’s just terrible.

Good luck getting an appointment. These people don’t even deserve a pay-check for answering the phone because their job is done in the first thirty minutes of accepting appointments. Then you get an unsympathetic, “We aren’t taking anymore bookings for the day” for the other four hours of their shift. This clinic represents the pinnacle of our failed healthcare system. Even if you start calling before they even take calls you can’t get through to place an appointment. It took 240 attempts before being able to get through to someone. The quality of this service is shameful. Just shameful. Clearly the only avenue of care I have now is the emergency room, I look forward to life of degenerating health and not having preventative care. I’ll probably end up with a debilitating illness that could’ve been avoided by having access to a doctor. I also look forward to losing whole days waiting in emergency rooms only to be told there’s nothing the doctor can really do. Living in this province, especially living outside of Halifax, has become a death sentence. There are developing nations that have more access to physicians. Absolutely shameful. When my family doctor left the province he said, “You should move to Alberta.” This clinic is not the solution to our broken healthcare system.
