Dr Lapointe has been my family doctor as well as my kids since 2007. We are very lucky to have such an exceptional doctor. He's very through, doesn't sugar coat , tells you exactly what's going on.. I have referred him to many people and they love him as well. Hope he's loving his job as much as we all love him.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr.Lapointe! I moved to Ottawa in 2012 and was fortunate to find him at an Appletree clinic, he has been mine and my partner's doctor ever since. He's great, attentive and actually cares about his patients. He's not a "pill-pusher" like my previous doctor and gives you all of your options. Visits are not rushed and Claudine is fantastic to deal with when booking appointments & when you first come into the office! :)

Dr. Lapointe is great. He's always friendly, is never in a rush, yet is somehow also always on time. I can get an appointment quickly when I need to. I'm always kind of nervous to bring up any issue with a doctor, but he always takes the time to discuss any questions I have. In this city, where it is so hard to find a GP, I consider myself lucky to not only have one, but one who is competent, and whom I really like. My only "criticism" is the way the reception area is laid out with the desk, papers, and computer monitor in full view of the waiting area, and phone conversations with patients impossible to not overhear. Not enough to affect my overall rating or opinion on him or the clinic, but it is something I noticed.

I have been with Dr. Lapointe for over a year now and I must say he is the best doctor I have ever had. He is a straight shooter but also very thorough in his explanations, he listens to your concerns and isn’t a pill pusher. He is almost always on time or early. He has a laid back atmosphere with great music playing in the background. His receptionist Kaitlin, is the best around. She returns your calls in a timely manner and is always quick to get you in for an appointment. 5 stars all around!

Dr. Luc Lapointe is the best family physician I have encountered in 12 Canadian cities and on 4 continents. He is intensely interested in your whole body health. He honestly cares. I have had a myriad of health issues, as well as a job that requires several doctor visits per year. His research into your ailments, and desire to find root causes, not just bandaid solutions, has dramatically improved my health in my forties. Hands down, Dr. Lapointe is the best.
