Most useless, worthless pathetic excuse foe receptionist i have ever seen, doesnt know how to answer and use a phone, doesnt know how to acknowledge people in line, throws you to the side when you try to make an appointment. I dont know what review to give Dr. Dutta as his secretary is so stupid people cant even get to speak to her

jins dominic

If you need to see a doctor you must take at least five appointments then only will get one appointment, Every time they are canceling appointments without any valid reasons ...Dr.Laila unprofessional and worst treatment! better search other places

Ruth Kendall

Absolute poor service throughout the entire building. No one wanted to even point me in the right direction of where I needed to go. I even said “I’m lost” to a receptionist out loud, and she completely ignored me. I know it’s a stressful time for health care but people are in desperate need for family doctors and to just be ignored when asking for help is infuriating.

There is a “Dr.Maloofer”* - (Unsure of the spelling), here at this clinic that is extremely unprofessional, and insensitive. My Fiancée went to this clinic with some planned current pregnancy concerns. The doctor made abortion jokes. It is our First and only PLANNED baby! We are repulsed by this doctors ‘jokes’ and comments. Stay FAR AWAY from this place!

My family was visiting the town and they did not know the place. The service they got from Dr. Laila Ismail was very bad. She was impatient, very rude, and she asked for more money in case more than 1 question is asked. The patient was a baby and this doctor (with her big ego) did not spend time and care at all. Also, we do not understand why the doctor kept referring to the in-house pharmacy for unnecessary supplements. Never go back to this horrible place, again.

I told them I have got pregnant for almost 3 month when I booked the appointment, however when I went to the appointment they only did measuring blood pressure and weight, then told me they do not have doctor to take care of pregnancies. What? I booked an appointment a week ago then I just came to know no doctor today? Even my family doctor there told me he is new here, he does not know who can take care of me, and ask me to find anyone else.

Doesn't say anything on the website that it is Tele-medicine only. Had to wait an hour to find out the tele-doctor wouldn't even see me. Translation: if you have a real problem go help yourself.

Amy Whitehead

Worst clinic Ive been to so far in this city. The receptionist is the one that worked with my sample and then turned around and continued to work on her computer (disgusting). She was super pushy and not very polite either . I was also the 1st one here just getting a quick needle and I still had to wait for the other 6 people that came in after me and I was here for over a half hour, when I got here with literally nobody else in the building

Amanda Fox

I had an appointment for my Working Holiday Visa, medical, chest X-ray and blood work. I arrived 15-10mins early. All the staff I encountered were so friendly and helpful! The doctor was very nice and the women at the immigration office were super busy but still so level headed and kind. The woman doing my chest X-ray and the woman doing my blood work took extra steps to make sure I had the best X-ray and blood work with no mistakes, so there’s very little chance I’ll have to go back and do anything over again. Some people who had appointments were late and pushed everyone else’s appointment times back. Be considerate of the clinics time and everyone who works there. You made an appointment time for a reason, be respectful.

Thomas George

The postiive: Dr. Max is incredible! The negative: Extremely poor customer service at the walk-in clinic. A receptionist who doesn't pay attention to you when you walk in, who'd rather chat with her colleagues while you're standing right in front of her, and when entering person information into the computer, would YELL it back to you to confirm it. You can hear her all the way into the patient rooms.

Yoan Alvarez

Don't waste your time going to this Walk- In Clinic, in particular Dr.Das; THE WORST! The doctors are not there to help you. The only thing she will do is tell you to go home and take an advil (I went to another doctor and I was told I have an ear infection). I asked for for a specialist referral and she denied me. Very unprofessional doctor. Sent me home saying nothing was wrong when in fact there was. If I could give minus start ratings she would get -10.

THE WORST Clinic in Canada. If it was possible To rate no star I would give it To this place. These Two receptinists are very rude and ingorant. This morning I tried To go for Walk in and they almost chase me out of the place. They believe they are making you a favor. When I got in the office they were talking about thier personal business saying to each other for 10 mins before saying " hello". They Said it is only on appointment and I asked them if I can take one they Said no. I have To Call. Now when I called they dont want To answer the Phone Call. I Will never go back

When I saw Dr. Belmili she was rude and misdiagnosed post-nasal drip for “potential dental issues”, though I told her it was post-nasal drip, she wasn’t convinced. She also asked me intrusive questions with a vulgar tone in a belittling barbaric demeanor. When she did my breast exam, she didn’t wash her hands but rushed to the sink "after" touching me. Later, I received numerous calls from a receptionist urging me to schedule a follow-up with her, I agreed and showed up on time to the appointment “they scheduled”, was then told by a receptionist (the black one) that I’m not Belmili’s official patient, she adamantly blamed me, saying I shouldn’t have scheduled the appointment and not to do it again. Once inside I waited over an hour, during which Dr.Belmili kept walking past me and turning her head away each time. Eventually, the same receptionist reminded her that I was still waiting to which she responded by throwing a literal tantrum, raising her voice saying “she’s not my problem!” I waited a while longer and eventually left. The staff at this clinic are disrespectful at best. I’ve not once had a decent experience, from Dr. Belmili’s primitive behavior to the receptionist (the one with progeria) starring at me and gossiping for absolutely no reason... She actually mocked me for being polite to her, as I sat quietly waiting?!

Saman Tayari

I have a family doctor(?) there who practically does not exist. Have left messages multiple times and no call back. Well the only two interactions I had with him, he forgot about taking the action he promised to take. Why two stars: the receptionist was nice on my in person visit. Otherwise 1 is my choice.

Alanna Wiseman

I came in to the walk in clinic. While registering, the receptionist told me that because my health card is expired that I needed to walk to the service Ontario ten minutes away to renew it. So I did, only to find out that I DONT need to renew it because due to COVID the expiration dates are extended. I would expect health staff to be more knowledgeable about this during the pandemic and to treat patients with a bit more respect. I won't be coming back.

Alyssa Ahrens

Cannot say enough good things about this place. I came here for an immigration medical exam and the doctor was very down-to-earth and reassuring. I didn't feel condescended to or unsure of what was being asked at all. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Jamie Montgomery

Overall I am blown away with how unprofessional this new Dr DUTTA is. With my medical issue he refused to help relieve my pain and basically blamed my weight for the current issue. When I went for a second opinion the Doctor at another walk in clinic was shocked at the lack of care and help in my current pain situation. So id like to praise this new doctor he gave me some meds to help relieve the pain, a full requests for examination to help for testing to see what the core issue is and compression prescription to help with the swelling I have ... and id like to praise this new doctor for actually listening and not just saying the medical version of "your fat" and I have been wrong before" ... overall if you care about your health DON'T DEAL WITH DR DUTTA

Julian Hyams

I have been to this clinic a few times now as i live up the street. Each time seems to get progressively worse. I have gone through two doctors so far, both who stated they would be my family doctor. The first one, Doctor Power, apparently had moved to Nova Scotia without me being informed. Both were incredibly impersonal, rushed and generally poor at communication and expressing empathy. The recent visit i experienced today was the worst yet. The word 'death' was mentioned twice by the male doctor when relating to my irregular heart beat. An escalation that just is not necessary to mention at this point as i am otherwise completely healthy. This blew my mind to be honest. I was seen 52 minutes after my scheduled appointment and was in and out of the examination room in 2 minutes flat, sent on my way very promptly. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Yasir Hussain

The service here is simply bad. The admin staff is only eager to swipe your health card so they bill the province. What baffles me the most is the doctor. She was incredibly judgemental and didn't answer any medical questions properly. She prescribed 2 antibiotics and dodged my question about what symptoms is it treating since she prescribed the same antibiotic las week. She was using her phone to prescribe me antibiotics. I am fortunate to have some medical background and I found the doctor's way of prescribing and providing directions extremely bad. Please avoid this clinic, there are others that will be able to help you better.

hooman andaliby

Staff are not responsive and the family doctor isn't supportive.

Anuja Namjoshi

This is the worst clinic I have ever visited in my life. Even the paediatrician. I took my son to Dr. Laila Ismail several times and we always had to wait for atleast 2 hours inspite of having an appointment. The doctor is always late and doesn't speak much with the patient or parents and she is always in a rush to wrap up the consultation. We never felt comfortable with the doctor. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Serendipity Life

Dr. Belmili she is my family Doctor since I was pregnant with my first child and she is the best doctor; good advice and helpful supportive so kind. When I go for follow up for me or my kids i feel that she is part of our family so kind with me and my kids. All the best doctor.

Do not go to this clinic, they would do you harm just so you keep coming back. That's they way they increase the money they get from you. My experience there? The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. That's where the positive ends. I went there for school medical test and immunization requirements form to be filled. I was asked to bring my OHIP card and pay $20 for the test. Bear in mind that without OHIP the visit is $80. So clinic gets $80 from province plus $20 I paid. The doctor who did the TB skin test on me poked it deep that I bleed, I'm not supposed to bleed if done right. Anyway, I was supposed to come back between 48 to 72 hours. i went after 48 hours and I was asked to pay another $20 dollar for the reading and give OHIP card again. That $200 alone so far for the clinic. I paid. Now based on comparison of images online to my own injection site, my result is supposed to be negative. But the doctor there read it inaccurately and gave me a referral for chest X-Ray. Why you may ask? Money. I would be asked for OHIP for the visit after the X-Ray comes in and I would be asked to pay another $20 to read the X-ray result and another $40 to sign my form. X-Rays are not free from harmful rays, we just do it when there is a health problem. In this case the doctor in this clinic would rather have a person go through this for a few bucks. I saw Dr. Ade something measure tge bump with a ruler and it was 3mm but in the referral form tgat was already printed with my name and card number even before i came in to the clinic for tge reading read that its 5mm. How did they manage that? Full on malpractice going on here. Put it in perspective, there are so many students needing to fill forms for their clinical placements, so many people needing to fill these forms for employment. My advise is AVOID THIS CLINIC. I will spend the few bucks again to repeat the test here and video everything especially while they are measuring the injection site so i can report it. This thing they are doing is medical malpractice.

If you want to go to a good doctor for your kids i would recommend Dr.laila ismail she saved my daughter from a surgery that would have happened if i didn’t bring her to dr.laila she saved her in a really smart way. Thank you dr.laila we’re proud of you!

I had my initial appointment with Dr. Dutta. He was overall kind, helpful, and was able to answer the questions I had. The lady who did my bloodwork was great to chat with too, I enjoyed her company for the brief amount of time I was there! Wait times didn't feel that bad, albeit I had an appointment, and it only took about 30min in line to get my bloodwork done. Overall, great service and a great experience today! I hope this quality of service continues!

My boyfriend has a family doctor ( Dr. Dutta ) at this location and his doctor is a very bad communicator he made a requisition at shoppers to get his medication refilled and a week later he went to pick up his refill but they had not received anything from the doctor so we made an appointment 2 days later went in and asked the doctor to refill his prescription instead of telling us that he put the prescription through the night before he decided to just tell my boyfriend that he is a pill addict. Now my bf has medical forms that he needs signed so he sent them in over two weeks ago and no response so a week ago and just last night he tried re sending them just to find out they blocked his email address and can no longer send them emails. He can not go in personally due to a private matter and still needs his medical forms filled out. I would not suggest getting a doctor here they are extremely rude.

otilia wong

Dr. Dutta is the best family physician I have, He is caring and understanding. I would recommend him to anyone especially patient who is anxious seeing a doctor. His assistant/receptionist is efficient and kind.

Chris Nerpin

I visited this clinic and was sent for an x-ray. I had the x-ray done on September 15. I have called numerous times to be told they haven't received the report. I confirmed with Premier Imaging, where I had the x-ray done, the report was sent on September 17th. Premier Imaging then re-sent the report on October 12. It is now October 19th, and I continue to try and get he results and continue to be told the same thing, they have not received the report. I am still in pain, and so the issue has not resolved itself, and clearly it was a huge mistake to trust this clinic with my health. Terrible patient care.

Paige Kahkonen

Normally I come here super frustrated as the walk-in hours are often closed for the day with no warning - even when you call in advance, but today I was SO impressed with the two gentleman who work at the pharmacy. The guys were so nice, helpful and went over and above for me to get a prescription when I came in. Amazing service on their end, I will definitely be going back for my pharmaceutical needs.

Manoj Kumar

Very good service at front desk. Waiting time was very very reasonable. Just 15 min. Nice Doctors. Well maintained.

mel lavigne

Would give 1 star but wait time is usually reasonable, most often under an hour. The doctors are hit and miss but better than some other walk-in clinics I've been to like south bank medical center (avoid if you can!). The clinic is dirty, I felt like I didn't want to touch anything. The wait room isn't as bad as the room where you see the doctor. The room looks like a office/staff room with a huge fridge and barely any space. There was pee on one of the seats as well!

Isaac IsALoser

Nastiest receptionist I have ever met: Rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I needed a prescription refill (my family doctor suddenly stopped practicing). The receptionist pointed to a sign that said "No prescriptions for narcotics or addictive drugs. My medication do not fall into either of those categories. She continued with "You should leave and go somewhere else". That is precisely what I did - left and went to the Appletree clinic down the road where I received courteous and caring medical attention.

Longhair Don’tcare

I would rather wait 12 hours at emergency than go back here. The doctors are ok but the service is the worst. I had better service from a McDonald's server that hated their life. I could write an entire book on how bad the secertary is I do not know how she keeps her job. And if you want to call this place she never answers the phone it took me 2 hours of calling over and over again and didn't even get through. They have the attitude of I don't care about you someone else is in line to take your place. Please everyone that goes here post your reviews so maybe they will change their staff because the facility is great just really bad service.

Emma Simpson

I went to the walk in clinic right at opening hours, and I was in and out within 35 minutes. The woman working at reception was friendly and quick, the man working at the pharmacy was knowledgeable and discreet, and Dr. Belmili was fantastic. Walk-ins for illnesses can be a nuisance, but this experience was painless. I really appreciated the wonderful staff.

Ferdows Roble

I was treated by Dr. Elmasry( I'm not sure about the spelling) and he was amazing. I went to this clinic 3 times. In December last year, February and June. Each time I sow different doctor. Dr.elmasry was the first I sow in December and he was the best, in my opinion. Each time I went there the clinic was clean and the stuff are good. I have nothing negative to say. I recommend visiting this clinic.

Igor Turzo

Great clinic for a walk-in or family doctor. Staff is always willing to help, place is clean and doctors who care.

Joan Bueckert

I needed a pre-departure Covid PCR test and the schedule at Bank Medical Centre provided the best option for me. I found the staff friendly and competent and I received my results the same day.

Dillon Oag

I was very upset with this Clinic NOT only did I have to wait 2 hours to see the doctor, they took my health card and LOST IT! Very unprofessional losing someones health card. When coming in they asked for my health card and took it from me and I never saw it again. The lady at the front desk thought I took it back, which was false. I am not not pleased with this clinic and I will not being returning.

Jason K

Stars are for the doctor and the nurse only. Unfortunately, the receptions took 3 of them away. Came into this clinic for a few times for the past couple months. I have met 3 different receptions at the walk-ins, they are all whether unprofessional or extremely rude. I do not expect the receptionist knows everything, however, when you ask them questions, they seems to be annoyed. They would give poor explanation or even faults answer which is way worst than “I am not sure”. And also, the people who work at the pharmacy do not wear mask! At least for both time I visit lately. Edited after their reply: I am switching it to one star now as the person who write this feed back either lying or is not presenting physically at the clinic himself/herself. Since the staffs at the pharmacy, the lady DID NOT wear a mask and the guy did not wear it PROPERLY for BOTH time I was there. And no thank you, no need to discuss further as your clients will see it. As well as I put everything I needed to say here.

rvhoyos

Never got service, showed up during operating hours because they advertise as a walk-in. Been coughing up black and really wanted to be seen but as I got out of my uber a sign on the door says they closed the walk-in for the day (it’s only 3:30pm) due to reaching “capacity”. They should mention that they are only partially walk-in when they feel like it.

mujidat rufai

My first walk in clinic in Ottawa and I find it so difficult to get another clinic closer to me because of these 2 pleasant, friendly and hardworking ladies.Cherry -----Walk in and Ipsita -----Dr Dutta (Family practice)are very good in what they are doing .Best of lucks ladies

Called and confirmed at 1pm on a friday I'd be good to come to the walk in clinic at posted open time of 8am. Show up monday at 8, receptionist says the doctor won't be in until 11 but lets me register for an appt at 1115. If the doctor is going to be late I'll get a call she says. I show up at 11, not only is the doctor not there yet but my position in queue is now 4th when I was the 2nd person to register. Same thing happened to the 1st person to register. They became 3rd. Why does a receptionist on the phone not know the doctors schedule when you call to confirm it'll be open at a certain time. Why does a receptionist not phone to indicate a late doctor - as specifically promised. Why does the queue mysteriously change with the other receptionist not knowing why? Free healthcare is amazing but this place's customer service is on par with a late shift mcdonalds run by teenagers. I can only imagine how much worse this would be if the same thing happened to someone who had to work today and either was forced to cancel the appt, or ask their boss for several more hours off, or sit in a lobby for 3 hours during covid because they have to take a bus and not drive. Whoever runs this place should actually take some responsibility and start expecting good customer service skills from the front desk staff but they probably get paid either way so I doubt they have the incentive to do so.

Elena Crenna

As an immigration clinic, this place wins a gold star! It works like a well-oiled machine in terms of efficiency, and all the staff I came in contact with were friendly, welcoming and professional. A+!

Lauren Elvish

Only positive experiences with dr Laila Ismail and the receptionists and nurses. They always make an effort to see my daughters as soon as possible and are very pleasant

K V

I called to follow-up and confirm my appointment, as I am first time patient with Dr. Datta... I am no longer interested in being part of her roster. The staff advised (1) I don't have an appointment, (2) my name is not on their list, and (3) I have to wait another three weeks, at the least, before I can see her. I even left a voicemail to confirm my appointment... No call back after three days so I called again, and was told there was no message received from me. I originally called a week before my follow-up call, and the staff on the phone took my info, including my health card number. This is upsetting as not only are they inefficient, it also means they misplaced my health card number! Also to note, I spoke to the same person in both my initial and follow-up call. I would avoid booking at this clinic! Horrendous customer service! I've received better service at a covenience store.

We are new to Canada medical care, thought UK is not good, this particular centre is far worse. It doesn’t matter that you book your appointment you will never be seen on time (hence allow at least extra hour to sit and wait, and please don’t expect to be updated how much longer you have to wait). When you finally have been invited in, you are in the room when specialist suppose to assess you and provide some solution or referral. Don’t kid yourself, you’ll sit in the room by yourself for another 15minutes. Finally you’ve been rewarded a long wait interaction (my have been with Dr Datta), he’ll spend about 5mins with you, if you have it in you to push for it or if you have medical history that need monitoring (still need to push for it) you’ll might get referral, but if you are non confrontational person than paracetamol is your friend and cure for everything. Oh and you know what, by reception you’ll find a sigh, Dr Datta penalty $80 for no show. Interestingly they have looked very puzzles when asked is there reward for waiting for Dr Datta or what would be a compensation for having your appointment cancel as Dr Datta is on holidays. On the serious note, yes system doesn’t work, and finding family doctor is a mission here, let alone finding a good family doctor. My only good experience here is doing medical for residency application. You have smooth and pleasant interaction with a very different team of nurses and doctors. It’s cost you cash but you not waste your time. The conclusion: the best solution, don’t get sick. Otherwise make sure you have hip of patience in you. Or keep looking for new clinic and family doctor... In Ottawa if you feel like your condition need urgent medical attention just go to emergency in the general hospital, you’ll have to wait but you’ll be seen by competent staff and get required treatment. Good luck

Be Caution To this place! Fully lost trust at this place, after few other minor mistakes they made, then this happen. They send out a different patient’s information and description to me by “MISTAKE”. Including the other patient’s name, phone, address and even health card number. When I received the document by email, I even asked them through the phone to make sure that is the right document they sent, they just casually say “yes it’s right”(of course without really checking it), until I walked into the clinic and showed them what they sent me. Such a mistake to make, and I do not feel safe to let them have my information anymore. I’m feel bad for the doctor, Adeleye who did not do anything wrong and need to apologize to me when the front desk manager did it. (The manager apologized to me, after she just realized they did sent others information to me, and only would apologize to the other patients because she knew I informed the other patient.) To add-on, she accused me “blackmailing” her if I don’t delete the email when I requested to have my information deleted or will look for further assist. I could tell that they would reply me with “sorry this happen to you, blah blah blah”. Imagine your information is sent out to someone that could hold it against you. Edited: The only appropriate action would be deleting my profile from your system, so you wont be able to send out my information to random people. This is the ONLY way to ensure "It will not happen again". BTW I bet you guys are not doing a single thing about it. This will not be settled until my personal information is off your system. To Add-on, I also see the pharmacy staffs not wearing mask as well, such a liar. BE REAL AND FACE THE PROBLEM, BE PROFESSIONAL

Hayet Rahem

Doctors are amazing but the receptionist are very rude and not well trained, should be trained how to speak with patients in a polite way and use proper words.

Melissa Talbot

Expect to wait 1.5-2 hours past your appointment time. Walk-in clinics are even better. This was my experience both times there. The first time, I watched a woman break down crying on the floor over the service and the second time there I saw a man come in yelling about a doctor's car that was parked by his. Many other angry frustrated people waiting past their appointment time marked both occasions. This was the worst medical service I have ever experienced, even including 3 hours waits at hospitals. To boot, the doctor was entirely unhelpful due to disorganization in the office so my wait was a waste. I will continue my search for a family doctor elsewhere. If you read this, view other positive reviews with a healthy dose of skepticism

Honest Reviewer

If I can give them less than 1 star I would have done that. I checked their website and it said 1 hour waiting time for walk in patients so I was there in 20 minutes. I arrived there 4 hours before the posted closing time and they said we are not taking any walk in patients today and asked me to come on the next business day. There is a reason people are giving them very low rating here!

Venessa Barnes

I've been a patient here for several years. I've been calling for a week trying to get an appointment. I've left messages and no one calls back. Everytime I call they hang up. When I do manage to get an appointment, the doctor is usually an hour to two hours late. Would highly recommend going ANYWHERE but here. I will be looking for a new doctor.

Aerial Stone

I been trying to reach the office if Dr Dutta for 2 weeks ,no one has been calling me or responding to my email. Is he even open ?

Ron Selmani

Most useless place you could go. Not informative about their hours or if they can take patients. They say they are open for walk in BUT THEY ARE LYING. I walked with a broken foot here and they said to come tomorrow. So now I’m walking home. At least the place isn’t too far from my house. Reception is RUDE AND SEEM ANNOYED. they clearly don’t like their job. Garbage service. Don’t disappoint yourself. Go find another place.

Ty Harry

I just went in on a Thursday morning and I waited a total of 4 minutes to see the doctor. The receptionist, pharmacist, and Dr were all very respectful and professional. I am impressed with the service and will be returning here.

BOIII BO

I haven't seen a walk-in clinic without a doctor, So I walk in this walk-in clinic and I stand in front of the service kiosk for about 5 minutes while the nurse is just having a laugh with the other nurse, then after she decides to ask me how can she help me, so I tel her what I need and she tells me we don't have a doctors at the moment, I ask her back would you have a doctor tomorrow and she says no, doctor will be in the clinic on Friday...

Annie Christie

This clinic was standard for walk in time. I was seen in about two hours. The follow up however was the worst I have ever had. I tried calling over 20 times and never got through to speak to anyone about test results I needed. Additionally I left three messages over the span of a week and never heard back. Finally I called the pharmacy beside the clinic to get them to pass a message on. Only then did they eventually call me back and even then I was told I could not get a copy they would only be faxed to my medical clinic. Horrible phone service, would not recommend if you need test results back within a reasonable time.

baby blo

Needed to access a walk-in clinic Saturday sept 25th Their hours on google: 9am-1pm Their website: Closed on Saturdays I called their phone number to check which of the two were accurate Their voicemail: We are open from 9am-12pm ON SATURDAY SEPT. 25TH I paid for an Uber so I could make it before they close They were closed by 11:25am... They Wasted both my time and my money which is inexcusable. If you don't want to get your time wasted avoid this location. Wont pick up calls either super disorganized. Side note - if they cant handle a simple task like keeping their hours up to date or provide accurate information then I sure as hell will not trust them with my body, And you shouldn't either.

Chelsea Mich

Says they updated their hours 3 weeks ago. Supposed to be open til 5 it's locked and no one answers the phone. What a joke don't waste your time

Nadeen Almubarak

I had a better experience in this walk-in clinic than any other one in Ottawa. The wait-time was short and accurate (20mins) and the doctor was amazing. He explained everything to me in normal language, unlike other clinics.

Hasin I

Inside The clinic is nice and clean. Dr Dutta and his assistance are very cooperative.
