By far best doctor and TEAM. Nurse practitioner is amazing too! I prefer their clinic like apts. I'd rather wait an hour the day I need help then have to wait a month for an apt. Also very responsive to email.

This doctor is terrible and does not truly care about his patients or their needs. He gets his assistant to speak to his customers when they call in with serious health questions or concerns and will not personally return their calls. Just leaves them hanging. Even if you are a regular patient (not a walk in) he is in a rush to get you out of his office and states that you can "only ask one question...he is just too busy!". Are you kidding me? Like, do the job that you are getting paid big bucks for. It is so disgraceful. Switching doctors would be great but there aren't any taking patients in Orillia at this time so we are stuck with this clown. We are considering moving just so I can get a new doctor. :(

He is a fantastic if doctor, and his staff are fantastic- but I have found it rare to see him. Although he is good about reviewing files and following up where needed. The office hours could use some improvement as you cannot book appointments And only offer open clinic hours. The positive side of that is when your sick you can get in that day Con of that is if you need a routine apt or may want to discuss something more specific- I find it's easier if you have an apt you can schedule around and know who you will be seeing that day

I had both hips replaced 8 weeks ago by Dr. Vora the operation went well but I had a set back with my type 2 diabetes and just the sock on my system, I had a had time breathing and Dr Dharssi showed up at my bedside with in hours. Dr. Dharssi immediately took care of me The next thing I knew I was in the ICU. After a few days things worked out and I was impressed by Karim's actions. I was to see him at his office one day in the future to get test ordered for my diabetes and renew my scripts for diabetes and pain control meds. One evening I went to the office they closed at 7;30pm I arrived at 5 minutes to 7 and using a cane I got into the building and waited atleast a minute when the elevator stopped on the 2nd floor and picked up a nice elderly women. I got to the office and the door was locked, there were 2 people sitting in the waiting room. A women came to the door after I knocked on it and she said we're closed I asked her for the time and she showed me on a tablet in her hand and it showed 7;02pm she turned and closed the door. She show me with a cane in my hand and yes its my fault for not leaving my house at 1pm to get there and hang around as the pain in my legs pounded but not to see me because Im 2 minutes late? I went to Shoppers to request my meds they faxed the request to Dharssi's office and of course the office was closed for the next 2 days and on this Friday theu are open until 3pm but I had to stay home because my cable has been down for a week (it took Shaw a week to send a service guy) so I called shoppers at 1;45pm to see if they received a fax with my meds... no. I tried calling the office for the next 45minutes and no answer. Dr Dharssi is a fine Dr but he doesn't have the backing of good professionals to help him. A neighbor of mine is looking for a Dr. I gave him Dharssi number and this guy has call 14 times (he said) and not once did anyone answer may be they were closed

Unfortunately although this doctor is awesome, the way they run things are not so much. You can never call them to ask a simple question. You don’t have the option to make an appointment, and since this is a family doctor the wait times are crazy. Walk in clinics work well because most people use them for quick easy fixes like colds or a doctors note ect. Family doctors are used for more complex problems thus making the wait times extremely ridiculous. Something simple like renewing a prescription for a antibiotic (where you can’t just get it faxed from the pharmacy) because it’s an antibiotic, turns into a 4 hour wait most days. family doctors run like this is why the emergency rooms get filled up with useless cold ect.

They have great People who work in the office. They're great with kids. The Nursing????‍⚕️staff is best in Orillia, Dr. Dharrsi is a great Doc always listening but actually hears????me!! The rest of the staff are all very nice, and make you feel comfortable. ???????? The system they have with no appointments needed. Just be there on office hrs and you'll be seen that day. Much better system and is better to be seen now when sick instead of 2 weeks from now I'll either be cured or dead by 2 weeks time lol.

While he is a really good doc, the office hours are bad. You cant scheduled a visit and have to wait for 2 hours most days at least to be seen. I love what he stands for as a doctor but the hours and scheduling need to be changed as most complain about that.

I am so impressed worth the quality of care and the depth of caring and service at this office. Dr Dharssi & staff are phenomenal. The hours of operation are very restrictive and makes it quite challenging for those of us who value flexibility and on demand service. However the staff make every effort to ensure the flow of information is as seamless as possible.

Poor staff, it's been 5 days since I requested to be taken off the roster and nobody has reached out to me. This also happened when I attempted to re-schedule an appointment. If you're trying to inquire about something, OTHER THAN directly requiring healthcare, they simply de prioritize you

Worst doctor and worst staff. Their Motto is, be rude with patients. Every single staff in the clinic seems never ever told a word about people dealing. Doctor is interested in scanning your card obviously but ignor*** is at worst.

Worst doc ever. mom had ammonia for weeks he shows up complained about how many times she contacted him.then gets vaccinated blood pressure dropped sent to hospital induced coma and then passed away

Disappointed.. signed up our family to this doctor then a couple months later they basically turn it into a walk in clinic.. can't even make an appointment to see my family doctor.. have to wait for hours in hopes we might get in to be seen before theyes close for the day.. such bullshit.

My family was connected with this Doctor over 3 months ago, and we still haven't gotten a "meet and greet". Being a family doctor, you should be able to make an appointment instead of trying to beat the community for a spot for "open patients hours". I don't think it should be like it is. Very disappointed in this situation.

Karim is an excellent DOCTOR. Many people don't like the way the office works but if you get there early you are in and out in good time, but it means getting out of bed. Karim does preventative medicine and he will discontinue unnecessary medications. Give him a chance and he will educate you about dietary issues, diabetes if that is your diagnosis, and other things that will help you feel better and live a healthier life.

The model of health care used in Dr Dharssi's clinic represents a cutting edge form of medicine. The wholistic approach acknowledges that health concerns all aspects of the human person - physical, mental, emotional. The team is important and well trained to determine the level and type of care needed. This frees the doctor to help exactly where he is needed thus allowing more patients to be seen. Yes I agree the wait time is unacceptable- any suggestions to improve that?
