Absolutely ridiculous. Pharmacy doesn't have my prescription & there's no way to follow up with anyone. No one is answering their phone lines, no response to my texts, no response to my emails. Waste of my time & they definitely charged my OHIP card for the service. They shouldn't receive a dime right now for this kind of service.

Why. Didn’t. I. Use. This. Sooner!!! It took about 20 minutes out of my day and it was soooo smooth. The doctor was kind and considerate. And she was ON TIME! Honestly, why did it take a pandemic for me to use this….. I’d recommend RocketDoctor 100%….

1 star for the my first doctor/appointment, 5 stars for the doctor who rectified the situation. I had an appointment with Dr. Yong Sun Lee who did not care. My appointment was literally 5 minutes for a concern which they told me to just go into an actual walk in to address which is fine. Until I tried to ask for a refill for my medication only to be told, "We try to keep it to concern per appointment," which is reasonable if I had a long appointment or something, but it wasn't. It was 5 minutes. After my terrible experience with Dr. Yong Sun Lee, another appointment was set up with Dr. Losier, who rectified the situation. He was really helpful and compassionate which made my experience a lot better. I appreciate the Rocket Doctor team for reaching out :) TDLR: Avoid Dr. Yong Sun Lee

The most efficient and convenient service ever. I was in a bad place. I called rocket doctor and from the start it was very professional. The dr was amazing and totally put me at ease. I got my appt within 30 mins. and my prescription wouldve been ready at my chosen pharmacy if needed. I would recommend Rocket doctor to anyone 1000%

I called at midnight and was able to book an 11am appointment for the next day. The office was professional and on time. If you need a prescription for medications, I suggest finding the address or phone number of the pharmacy you would like to use before booking.

I want to see my X-ray result, but they mentioned that they don't have enough doctor at the moment to book appointment. First time booking online, they are having trouble of not receiving the result, and said she will called back as soon as possible on the same day. Nothing happens and I need to book online again on the next day. Second agent is definitely much nicer, and immediately figured out and telling me they communicate and get the fax from them. But they said they will call me back as soon as there is available doctors. After 1 week, I booked again and try to figure out what happened. They said they still have trouble to have doctor available, and ask me to be patient. After 3 weeks, no calls and no e-mails. Very disappointed. Giving the extra stars only because of the second agent and very fast to see a doctor for the first ever visit... other than that.... only hope you can improve your system and workers better in the future.

They also show lots of enthusiasm for the services and also show full respect for LGBTQIA+ clients, and any person really. They work fast without too many questions and get straight to the point. They always understand what you need and always talk in a caring, respectful, mannered tone. They give you what you need without making you wait even a bit, there is no delays at all with Rocket Doctor. Appointments can be changed for free and have no cancellation fee either. They can also be changed instantly without waiting. They have every kind of specialist/doctor available and they will assist you in a professional way. Rocket Doctor is also online through call or video chat, so there is no worries of in person with Covid-19. Going in person to clinics is a waste of time and there is a lot of waiting. Rocket Doctor has your back and is convenient. My experience has been perfect so far with Rocket Doctor. I will never go to a in person clinic again as my experience with in person clinics has been long, endless waiting times. The staff for in person clinics is not as caring or friendly either. Overall, Rocket Doctor is better than all in person clinics in Canada and I highly recommend it over anything else. Our health care needs to evolve, and Rocket Doctor is definitely the first step to a evolved, better health care system. I wish all other Canadian clinical services were like this, but Rocket Doctor beats them all and makes them them look like a joke, with how excellent their whole system is.

I had a great experience with the Doctor who called me back quickly and took my pain seriously. As my condition required a hands on check to properly diagnose my condition. She gave me 3 options to consider: 1. Call my Family Doctor 2. Go to an Urgent Care Doctor 3. Go to emergency dpt. I did 2 and 3 and was given a CT scan to further support suspected Acute diverticulitis. I was put on antibiotics and have been on the mend ever since. Thank you Rocket Doctor for pointing me in the right direction.

If i could leave zero stars, I would. Rocket doctor, specifically Dr. Cherry Xiong, has been horrible about getting information to a treatment center for over a month and a half. Not only that, but the appointment I was relying on getting crucial information to my treatment program, she cancelled last minute without the option of rescheduling. I would recommend a drunk guy, dressed in a lab coat and goggles, behind a KFC dumpster over this particular website. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have only the nicest things to say about the clinic: I needed an urgent help for my mother’s critical medical issue and the clinic was a life saver for me. The receptionist was kind, polite and very helpful – she called me and arranged my virtual appointment with the doctor instantaneously. The doctor was very thorough – he didn’t rush through my lengthy description of the issue and asked many questions that helped him to figure out the best remedy for my mother’s ailment. He gave me detailed instructions and explanations and offered a follow up appointment on the day/time that worked for me. Doctor’s expert advise was instrumental in improving my mother’s situation and the follow-up consultation and medical guidance provided to me were absolutely essential for sustaining this improvement. I can’t thank enough Dr. Christian Ternamian for all of his kind attention and consideration for the health of my mother. Based on my experience with the clinic, in my opinion, this venture represented an ideal version of a virtual medical service, so I would highly recommend Rocket Doctor Virtual Walk-In Clinic to anybody who needs a quick and a highly professional help with their medical issues.

If the Covid pandemic brought anything good to Canada, it’s virtual doctor visits covered by OHIP! Some people are blessed with a good, reliable, caring, available when needed, family doctors, but many of us are not. To schedule an appointment with my family doctor was a 2 month wait. I booked an appoint with these guys and was speaking to a doctor within the day; from the comfort of my home while sick. My only issue with rocket doctor is the short time they allocate to each patient. I couldn’t spend the time asking too many questions because it seemed like they were on a clock of about 10m. But for quick type visits they are definitely my go to place.

Rocket Doctor may be a decent service to use if you're looking for something simple. But forget about if you're looking for personalized care like getting a doctor to look at your ultrasound results...Not likely! After my Rocket Doctor gave me a note to get an ultrasound on my injured shoulder and arm, it's been one month and I haven't heard anything from Rocket Doctor. Their help line is always busy, taking hours to get through. I called a second doctor and she said she would call me back that same night with a follow up on my ultrasound. Nothing. I got frustrated and began treating myself by going to massage therapy and acupuncture. Meanwhile, the results of my ultrasound have never been discussed. What is the point of Rocket Doctor for patients in my situation? It seems like the only way to reach them is by making a comment on their business.

I signed in to request an appointment. I found it easy to work with. They called within 10 minutes booked me in for an hour and a half later. I wanted to get tested for a UTI. the dr. emailed me a requisition a few minutes after the call ended. I recommend this service if you don't need to see a doctor in person . So much easier and safer than sitting in an emergency room or walk in clinic. I stayed in my PJ'S all morning too.

I never knew about this service until very recently. I've struggled to find a new family Dr in my area and in the meantime I needed a specialist referral. This service is completely covered by OHIP. I called to book an appointment with a GP. I was given an appointment slot right away for 2 hours from my initial call!!! The GP called right on time and was very professional and quick. My whole appointment was only a few minutes as I just needed a referral and the GP sent the referral off before we hung up. This is a fantastically convenient service. Very pleased.

Rocket Doctor Is amazing! I was quite I'll and had an infection that needed quick attention due to the pain and discomfort I was in. When my usual walk-ins seemed to be unhelpful, I found Rocket Doctor and had a virtual appointment scheduled in less than 15 hours, meds sent to my local pharmacy and I was on my way to getting better! I had a video conference with the doctor on remembrance day. Long story short they faxed a prescription to my drugstore and the doctor said he was going to also email me a requisition for a chest x-ray. It’s November 22 and I’m still waiting for the chest x-ray requisition. No excuse for this. I would never use rocket doctor again

Recently, I had a very great experience with this victual walk-in clinic: a receptionist returned my call super fast and scheduled the appointment a couple of hours later on the same day. The doctor on a call took her time to understand my issue and promptly gave me a blood work referral. I’ve got the results and follow up the next day. All this procedure would take me HOURS in a regular walking-in clinic. Also, I was in the comfort of my home and not exposed to sick people in a huge line like it happened to me all the time in this kind of facilities. Considering I have two small kids, this is priceless. I definitely would recommend it.

Fast service to book an appointment, however, I needed a doctors note in which they said it would take 15-30 minutes after my appointment to receive via email. It took 4 hours after my appointment to receive the PDF and they messed up the passcode to open the document. I really needed this note and they took over 5 hours to get back to me.

I would like to give 10 stars if I could. After being unable to find a single walk-in clinic available in whole Victoria (BC) area, I googled and found out about Rocket Doctor. After registration, I got a call from the reception 30 minutes later, and then they were able to book a (virtual) appointment with a doctor few hours later. Finally, I saw the doctor and all my concerns were resolved! Best experience I've ever had. One more positive note: they said they could deliver the medication to my door for free if I were prescribed any medication by the doctor. It's almost unreal. Great program!

Not very good if you need to try reach out to them, they never pick up and once you made your concern via their site they'll send you a email saying they tried calling so you, so you'll need to spam that until you get a proper response because they'll send you the same email they sent back again and again. All in all good doctor service but not very good when trying to reach them to confirm appointments.

Very helpful! I saw a doctor on the Saturday of the long weekend when it was impossible to find a walk in clinic and the experience was great. I recommend and would use them again. It was a super quick wait time. It would have taken me longer to drive to a walk-in and wait my turn, with two kids, snacks and germs. We did a zoom call but a regular phone call would have been sufficient, it's their choice. I had to share photos of my child's skin and was happy with the diagnosis and treatment plan. It was a huge relief to not have to go to the emergency room. I'm so grateful for this service!

This service was exactly what I needed especially right now when going into a clinic is not favourable. In just a few hours I was able to book a virtual appointment to get an opinion on knee pain I was having. I'd definitely recommend rocket doctor for anyone who is constricted when it comes to finding time for an appointment, you can have your appointment from anywhere with wifi. Most of the time I walk away satisfied with my needs addressed and if they can't help me they refer me to someone who can. I have a multitude of medical conditions both diagnosed and still a mystery so I love the ease of refilling prescriptions, getting consults on any issues that pop up, and someone to start the process of seeing a specialist, all within a few hours.

Prescribe me something that was not for me. Ended up getting very sick and it caused swelling under my right rib abs now I have a constant burning on my left abs. I would not suggest this place for anything that’s not super minor. The doctor I had just took a guess and didn’t ask any questions about the issues. EDIT - The doctor shouldn’t have prescribed me anything without doing tests first. It’s silly for you to say what they did was alright. I had to change my entire diet and take a few days off from running my business, which lost me a lot of money. The requisition that was given to me isn’t even accessible, the password won’t work and I had called in and no one could figure it out. So naturally I went to a REAL doctor and got another requisition. Own up to the mistakes of your staff instead of saying “oh we don’t know when negative reactions take place” DO TESTS BEFORE YOU PRESCRIBE. This could have easily been avoided. The second doctor I had talked to was confused why I wasn’t sent for tests and was given that medication. And why would I ever use this service again after this ????

At first I was not sure if this was a scam because I didn't know anything like a virtual doctor existed before. However, this service was amazing and I really recommend it. I came here because most clinics do not have ways to cover anything dermatology related through OHIP, but Rocket Doctor was able to very quickly have me diagnosed with rosacea, something I have been unknowingly struggling with for years, and was shipped a cream in a very short period of time. I would definitely use this service again and I love that they have made health care more accessible to the public. The doctor I spoke with was also very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable throughout the process.

Zero complaints. Mind you it was my first time using Rocket Doctor. I have no family doctor, couldn't get into a walk in clinic and was not going to emerge for a simple bladder infection during a pandemic. I registered for a doctor's visit with Rocket Doctor at 10PM last night they called me back within a few minutes to set up an appointment for the morning at 930AM. We had a quick 5-10 minute phone call about my symptoms and my prescription was sent straight to the pharmacy. Super pleased with the quick and easy help from Rocket Doctor. I will be using this Virtual Doctor in the future.

I've now had 2 appts with Rocket Doctor, both with Dr Umer. Honestly I cant praise this service enough- incredibly impressive. I'm in Ontario and have been waiting on the provincial list for a doctor. But I needed a script refill, and was online looking for a walk in clinic in the area. I found Rocket Dr ( never heard of them at that point) online and thought "Why not" no lineups, no parking and no waiting, Same day appt. and from the comfort of my living room. I figured it would be hard to impress me or disappoint me with a simple prescription renewal, but I was wrong. Dr Umer was kind considerate and knowledgeable. She took the time to ask a number of questions and we had significant dialogue. I can honestly say it was the best , most thorough doctors apppointment I've had in years. There was absolutely no loss in service . And there was even follow up in writing on our discussion and confirmation of prescription sent. And a follow up appointment initiated by them! I hope I can figure out a way to make this my permanent doctors solution.

Yesterday I tried for the first time this virtual clinic. Honestly, at the beginning I was really surprised by the amazing and fast service, they took like 10 min to call me back and book and appointment for the same day at 9:30 pm. So far, everything was perfect, then at 9:20 pm I logged in for the meeting (because they told me to be ready 10 min before the appointment) with a doctor called Jessica, I was waiting for 20 minutes on the videocall and nothing, so I decided to call a phone number that was also on the e-mail they sent me, finally she answered and told me she was running late because other patient took too long. She was super friendly (and that's the only reason I'm giving a 2 star review, because otherwise I would have given only 1) and was very clear about what was going on with me, she told me she would send my prescription to my pharmacy and that it would be ready to pickup in 1 hour or less. I decided to go until today after work, went in to the pharmacy and oh surprise, they didn't get anything. I tried to get help on the website but there's no chat or customer support, I called the phone number and I've been on hold for half an hour without anybody answering. It's really sad, the concept and the service is really good, but unfortunately there's no customer service to help with the follow up of the prescriptions, I still have no medication for my problem and I felt like I only wasted my time.

This is the way it should be done. Weekend, needed to speak with a doctor. Called, was speaking with the doctor within 25 minutes and at the pharmacy picking up the prescription within 90. Can't recommend the service enough. My doctor was patient, thorough, and quickly diagnosed what was going on, which wasn't even on my radar. 2 days later, healed and happy. Thank you!

I think Rocket Doctor was one of the top searches. I filled out the online questionnaire and within a short wait, someone contacted me over the phone. The representative asked more questions about my needs. Then set up a virtual call with a doctor. The doctor called right on time and helped with all the questions that I had about my son's illness - turned out it was just the flu. The future of medical visits is here! Can probably reduce actual in-person visits needs by 90%. Booked a meeting with doctor at 9am. Was called at 9:07 to confirm and meeting scheduled for 10:15. Doctor was online at 10:18. Had sent pictures to let the doctor review my condition and she used live camera view to confirm as well. Prescription was faxed to the closest pharmacy. Highly recommend this service to anyone! If only other provinces could use that as well, it would help our flailing healthcare system.

I've now had two appointments with Rocket Doctor and recommend them to anyone looking for efficient, safe and caring medical care! I was able to book an appointment, see a doctor and receive a prescription to my door all in ONE day. After requesting an appointment online the customer care team called, listening to my needs and working with me to ensure an appointment time the same day (both times!). I received an online link shortly after via email and was able to click on it to direct me to the appointment with the doctor. At both appointments the doctors were on time or a few minutes early. As you can input your concerns prior to your appointment the doctors were able to get right to helping me with care, focusing on what I needed at the time and supporting me moving forward. The website also has an associated pharmacy with FREE, direct delivery for prescriptions (they can bill your private insurance for medications too). I have so many great things to say about this service but most importantly - THANK YOU Rocket Doctor!

Hey Justin, you sent me an email asking if I could write a Google review for Rocket Doctor after I left a five-star review directly on your website. Honestly I had forgotten about the whole thing but since it was brought up I feel an updated review would be a good idea. Initially I thought rocket doctor did a great job, where they failed miserably was with the follow-up. I was told by the doctor who spoke with me that I would be given a follow-up call once the results were in. After a week I called rocket doctor and told them I would like to know when my follow-up appointment will be as the result should be in. I was told they were not but that I could contact Life Labs myself because, although extremely unlikely, there was a chance that the results were ready but rocket doctor did not yet have them. I contacted Life Labs and they said yes the results have been ready for several days and that I could view them myself, but that ANY doctor could access them through their system. I contacted rocket doctor again and said let's book a follow up the doctor can view the results. They told me the results were still not available and said they would be in contact when they got them. I explained that the doctor could definitely view them, that Life Labs had confirmed they were available, that I could give them the code so that they could view them on the Life Labs website, etc. They told me that was not necessary and they would call Life Labs get the results and book me an appointment. That never happened. As far as I can see rocket doctor considered their obligations fulfilled at that point and did not feel it was necessary to contact me again, or make an appointment for me. What I don't understand is why they had an issue with the doctor accessing the results themselves. What Life Labs told me was correct and I was able to have an on call doctor at my usual doctor's office access the results for me, but rocket doctor did not seem to agree that this was a possibility and would not make an appointment for me.

Surprisingly I've gotten more actual help through the doctors this service connects me with than anything else I've tried. I was able to find physicians who specialize in the care I need who I wouldn't've been able to see otherwise because I live in a remote area with little transit. Also they follow up really quickly when you contact them, I was really shocked that I got an instant reply almost in the middle of the night.

I decided to use rocket doctor after having a few negative experiences with another online doctor service that had failed to send my prescription and left me with no way of contacting the doctor to rectify what had happened. I needed my prescription ASAP and the doctor who helped me using rocket doctor made sure I was taken care of. It was easy to set up an appointment, the doctor was punctual, and very helpful in 1) making sure I got my prescription faxed by calling it in. 2) speaking with my pharmacy to ensure I had received this prescription before so they could give me my usual 3 month dosage instead of 1 month that they would usually do for a first time patient. Besides the great service I was pleased to be able to review my experience and give feedback where as the other online doctor service did not have any review system and had no way of knowing that they had messed up my prescription TWICE! And I believe they made the mistake twice because they do not ask patients about their experiences using the service. Anyways, Rocket doctor good, TIA health no good.

The doctor called at our appointment time and they were friendly enough. They said they would fax my prescription to my pharmacy same day. I went to my pharmacy several hours later and they had never received the prescription. I called the general hotline and the woman I spoke to said their special courier would be delivering me my prescription? Confused I said the doctor mentioned they were same-day faxing it to my pharmacy.. she seemed confused too. No one seems to be on the same page, and overall this ate up way more time than I would have hoped, and would likely just go to a walk-in next time. Unfortunate, as it is a great idea, just poor execution.

Super easy to book. Had an issue this morning and my family doctor couldn’t see me as they were booked. Booked an appointment online, and within five minutes got a call from admin to set up an appointment. I got my appointment within 1.5 hours. My family doctor wished me luck and sent me on my way. I was in pain and was looking for a walk in clinic but found Rocket Doctor and took a chance. I easily set up an appointment online. Only caution: There was one misunderstanding where a prescription was sent to their associated pharmacy and it was higher than custom cost /my plan rejected part of the cost. Be cautious when you’re setting up your pharmacy preference.

Excellent service. Given the context of the pandemic, it can be very difficult to get in to see your primary care provider during this time. I wasn't able to get in to see my doctor for three weeks. I had an appointment with a nurse practitioner at the clinic I go to, and that got cancelled today too. I found Rocket Doctor online and used the service today for a same day appointment. Within minutes of filling out the forms online I got a call from the Patient Care Coordinator and was setup with an appointment. I was told the doctor's name and sent text information straight away. I joined by video and spoke with Dr.Cindy Ly. She was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, kind and friendly. She confirmed that I had a sinus infection and immediately faxed a prescription for an antibiotic to my pharmacy. My pharmacy called me minutes later saying that they received a fax from Rocket Doctors for my prescription and that it would be filled and ready in 40 minutes. Cannot recommend this service enough for acute illnesses. Dr. Ly was very thorough and advised if the symptoms do not go away within a set number of days and with the antibiotic, I need to be assessed in person which cannot be done virtually. She was very thorough and did her due diligence. Please consider this service if you need urgent care for a minor acute illness. Of course it does not replace the emergency room but for a walk in type service for a Doctor consult, this is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Rocket Doctor and Dr. Cindy Ly. I am so appreciative for the service and level of care I received today.

Its so much more convenient than a walk in clinic as I didn't have to leave my house. The doctors are very patient and knowledgeable. I’ve used the rocket doctor 3 times so far and each time has been a pleasant, painless and efficient experience. The first time was a video consult as I had acne concerns, I was even able to send photos of my issue which were “added to my file” which is great. Now we can track my progress. The second time was regarding some pains I was having in my stomach. The most recent experience was brilliant as I just needed to obtain a prescription for my birth control and a referral for an X-ray. Super easy, friendly, professional and FAST! After completing the online request form, I received a call within minutes (literally in under 2 minutes) confirming my details and asking relevant questions pertaining to my issue. Rocket Doctor was easy to use. No need for Skype or Zoom setup. When you get your appointment (mine was two hours later) you get an email with the link. Seamless. These are accredited doctors. OHIP covered. My doctor set me up for bloodwork and an ultrasound. I strongly advise, upon your initial request, you give them as much background/pertinent health data to assist them. One such notation I gave was cause for the doctor to suggest an ultrasound for something unrelated to my reason for the call. I felt like I was taken care of and would not hesitate to use them again until I am able to secure a new family physician. Also, customer service was excellent when I had a question following my call.

Dr. Alidina was our physician booked, very happy with her advice and thorough approach to our issue. Had 2 follow up appointments since with the same Dr, got referred to a specialist and already had that appointment. Fast, reliable, convenient remote walk-in clinic experience. I am never going back to in person appointment if I can resolve it online! Booked an 11:30am appointment - waited an hour on camera and doc never showed up. Called rocket doctor, rep was apologetic, rescheduled me for 2:20PM with another doc... (I had to frantically cancel work meetings and switch my whole day around) Jumped on the link at 2:20PM and this doc was also a no-show. There's no way to contact them either to get a response. Unfortunately, have to give a 1 star review for the severe inconvenience when I could have just gone into an actual walk-in and gotten a spot.

Had an appointment today, I waited in the video call for 30 minutes and the doctor never joined. I checked 15 minutes later, the doctor still hadn't joined. 50 minutes after my appointment the doctor called me and apologized for the wait saying they are behind. Some sort of communication would have been appreciated, i wasn't going to sit in that conference call alone indefinitely. After speaking with the doctor I was satisfied with the service but probably won't use again. There are other virtual services I've used where I've scheduled appointments and the doctor calls at the exact time of the appointment.

Also they asked me to upload the photos prior to the meet so the doctor can take a look and it was quite easy to do. Someone forced me to grab my OHIP card even when I tell them my information has not changed and the last time I used the service was less than a week ago. Post my review was written here...am surprised to see the response from their side.......they mention that the customer care was not able to find my details in their records. That shows how efficient they are. Would request you to check internally with your team wherein I had followed up multiple time for the blood test requisition form and then had followed up to check for the doctor when was wasting my time being logged in . If you are not able to find it do let me know here will upload the entire mail communication for everyone's reference so that they can be beware of your services. your response is making more fool of your customer service. Keep up the great work would have give a zero rating if that was possible here. Had a horrible experience with them. I booked an appointment with the doctor at rocket. I was advised for a blood test to be done. I was told by the doctor that I would receive a blood test requisition which I never received. Followed up with the customer service and then finally was able to get it. Second time after the blood report arrived, was given an appointment for Sunday morning. I logged into the virtual meeting 10 minutes before the scheduled time but the doctor never arrived. Waited for 15 minutes till after the scheduled meeting as well but no show from the doctor. After that on writing an email to the customer care, without asking for my availability they sent me a like with a new appointment. Probably the doctor was too busy with his schedule and had no time to adhere to appointments for the patients. Doctors might be important but they are important because of patients. So they need to respect their time as well. Probably the website thinks the patients have no other work other than waiting, Would never recommend anyone to use this site for your medical concerns. Would suggest go for a better doctor or service provider.

I was at my cottage 3 hours from my home and doctor. It was late Wednesday afternoon when ALL doctors are away from their office. Had a bladder infection come fast and hard. My friend told me about Rocket Doctor. I found it online. Sent my first message. Within 10 minutes I had. call, just like they said. He asked a couple questions and then set up a phone appointment with a doctor. He apologized that they were booked until next morning at 9:40 but said it was possible it could be earlier if a cancellation. At exactly 9:40 next morning my phone rang. Within the hour I had a prescription waiting for me at the closest pharmacy. Thank you Rocket Doctor. You saved me a painful drive back to my home or an awful visit to the local emergency room. I think this a great service. Especially during the pandemic. My family is doing it’s part to stay healthy. So the idea of going to a walk in clinic for simple questions is not what we are looking for. The service was relatively quick and had a doctor call early the next day from a late evening booking. The doctor was nice and explained everything and was very kind and nice to my daughter. The recommended actions were followed and the problem was resolved.

Absolutely unprofessional. The doctor took all of 20 seconds to ask me what I wanted which was a referral to a dermatologist. Before which they requested photos. I knew I shouldn't have sent those photos. I have yet to get a referral call. They also tried to charge me 20$ for a doctors note I never asked for. Had I been someone else not paying attention I would have paid and still got nothing. Not only have I been violated by sending private photos but I have not had my issue fixed. Don't use rocket doctor.

Every time I have used Rocket Doctor I have found the doctors attentive and they listen very well. They take in complex details of my situation and have given me incredible help. My family doctor does not listen as well. Rocket Doctor has gone above and beyond with their care. They even helped my 85 year old mom who got online with them and they demanded a urinalysis that the family doctor in Kingston would not give her. The urinalysis found a rare and dangerous bacteria. Rocket Doctor saved my mom's life. If my mom had not had this test (the family doctor denied her urinalysis due to her age - 85 years old - he told her 85 years olds "don't get tests anymore), my mom would be dead. Thanks Rocket Doctor for saving my mom's life and giving me excellent care.

I'm the type of person who hesitates to reach out to a Dr when I need and I usually don't follow through but I found this website online and filled out a request for appointment. I was really surprised when I got a phone call not even half an hour later. The triage lady was so caring and was able to make a safe space for me to share some contextual information for the doctor before seeing me. My appointment was booked for one hour later and the doctor was great. Being over the phone I felt really heard and I was able to get my prescription the same night. I think this is a really great service and I do highly recommend to any one. Would love to see this method of practice continue post covid!!

I developed the worst sinus infection of my life overnight. I also live in a small town about 40 minutes from a doctor and was home with my also sick child. I was able to book an appointment for within an hour of waking up that morning. I filled out my symptoms beforehand and my actual appointment was a 2 minute phone call that ended in my antibiotic prescription being faxed to the pharmacy 5 minutes from my house! It was so quick and so convenient when you aren’t feeling well, especially during COVID times when I didn’t want to have to go to a clinic with my child with our immune systems already being tried. The future is here... After waiting 3 hours at the emergency room of my little town.. they were overwhelmed, angry, I really felt left aside in pain even if I know there is always worse, nobody like to wait for hours in a hospital, or a waiting room if you are lucky to have a family Doctor. I gave up and went home, still in pain and sad and crying. I looked online consultation randomly, and picked that one because they had good reviews and were not charging fees. The consultation was covered by my provincial / BC health card. I got assigned a time to connect to an online session. Waited in the comfort of my home. Dr was on time. That was so easy. There is a place to attach any document that can help. I attached pictures. We talked about symptoms and the dr presented a diagnostic and sent the prescription directly to my pharmacy. I can't say how relieved I was. Not having to leave the house when you are in pain, and not risking catching more germs from other sock persons around you waiting, is definitely the way I will chose from now on. Big thanks to whoever created that platform. Brilliant.

I had a really good experience with this service last year. The appointment administration is super fast and easy. The doctor saw me within 24 hours and I was given a prescription. I recommend this for my mother recently and was disappointed. The doctor did not seem to know what they were doing regarding a basic skin infection. They recommended she go to a hospital for assistance with her condition, which I found pretty far-fetched, she would have been triaged for hours. She ended up going to a walk-in clinic where a doctor looked at her for 2 seconds and she got the standard antibiotic prescription. I will likely try this again, they are convenient and efficient, but adequate assistance seems dependant on how experienced of a doctor you get.

So rather than just addressing that with me they made me wait for an hour. Not what I consider professional. Rocket Doctor is a very valuable service. Having recently moved, not having a doctor in this new city, and being in the middle of lockdown, I don't know what I would have done without Rocket Doctor. You get an appointment the same day and they do provide follow-up care. All the doctors have access to all patient files. You don't have to repeat yourself at every appointment the way you do at regular walk-in clinics. I can't say enough about this remarkable service and I applaud the doctors who founded it.

I had an unusual case of what I suspected to be sinusitis which did not have all the tell tale signs of sinusitis. I had Dr. Deepak Murthy. He was professional, had a sense of humor and asked good questions in order to properly make a diagnosis. He then gave me a prescription which cleared up the problem within days. I was told my prescription would be faxed to my pharmacy. When I visited the pharmacy the next day, to my surprise and inconvenience, my prescription had not been faxed. I had to speak with customer service 3 separate times and wait for the prescription to be re-sent. This took way longer than I had anticipated (over an hour) and ruined my plans for the evening. I will say that April from customer service was helpful, but this is the only positive thing I could say about the experience. I used rocket doctor instead of a traditional walk-in because of convenience… however this was much more inconvenient at the end of the day. Super frustrating experience and I don’t think I’ll use the service again.

The doctor was not acting professionally, made me feel uncomfortable, questioned my reasons for wanting a referral and when I expressed my concerns to him, he just cancelled my appointment. I phoned back to schedule another appointment, which was scheduled with another doctor for the next day, but nobody phoned me at the time when it was scheduled. Very unprofessional operation.

There a nurses hotline that's free that will tell you the same thing these guys probably will. Undoubtedly the worst place to get medical care. I ended up with a doctor who didn't listen to my situation refuse to allow me to repeat myself and hung up on me. When you are a patient in need of care dealing with doctors like this is counterproductive. When you have an ongoing history of a medical issue, it is important for the doctor to make decisions based on your history. It is also important for the doctor to respect your choice for care. This organization offers none of the decency of a regular doctor!

I was so blessed to find Rocket Doctor. My family doctor had retired and trying to find another one was not easy. I saw Rocket Doctor on line and since I am on medications I had to get new prescriptions so I gave Rocket Dr a try and was so pleased. I had a return call from a Dr within the hour. After a verbal visit on the phone my meds were renewed at my drug store and I was able to pick them up the next day. When you don't feel well it is very hard to go out and this helps knowing I don't have to go sit with other sick people A great stress released, and a dr for when I am unwell. I live in Ontario and I tried Rocket doctor for the first time. I had an appointment within one day of booking and I experienced an amazing level of care. I don't like that you have to answer a phone call in order to book. I would prefer to be able to book online. The website makes it look like you can do that, but they prefer to book on the phone after you fill out their form. My physician Dr. Ly was a great communicator and very competent and knowledgeable. She explained the concepts very well and was very thorough in explaining my treatment plan, side effects and she answered all of my questions. She also explained why she chose that specific treatment in that specific order. She's amazing and that was the best experience i've ever had with a doctor in my entire life. I did not feel condescended to and felt very heard. Life-changing.

It's just as advertised. You can see a doctor virtually at your home. You do not have to wait in line at a physical location and idle until you see a doctor. At my family doctor, I had to wait 2 hours after my appointment time. Here, you can stay productive, do what you like until your virtual appointment time. It's very convenient.

Contacted them and with in a very short time, I received a text ( my choice of communication, which they respected), to confirm that I was indeed requesting an appointment. Once I confirmed I was asked if they could call me to book it, which I thought it was very respectful. Call made and appointment booked. Super easy to book appointments. I've requested appointments on several occasions and every time someone got back to me within an hour (even at 11pm once!) to book an appointment. Appointments are often available same or next day. So far, all the doctors I've interacted with were very patient and took the time to listen and answer all my questions. This is great if you don't have a family doctor or if you want a quick consultation and don't want to wait for an appointment with your family doctor.

We emailed Rocket Doctor at 8:15 on a Monday morning. Received a call by 8:30 from a very friendly and professional person reviewing our file and asking if we’d like a phone call appointment or video. Within 2 minutes we had a booked video call with a Dr for 10:30 that morning. The Dr was great. Friendly, knowledgeable and asked pertinent questions regarding our situation. Unfortunately in our case we did still have to go to emergency department as the Dr felt an in person assessment was needed. I appreciated the dr advising that instead of just prescribing something that may not have been needed. Process from start to finish was easy to navigate. I will for sure be using this service again. I’ve never seen a service like this before and I 100% recommend it.

I cannot believe i found this service last minute as it was life saving! I was going through a serious health problem when I found Rocket Doctor on Google, getting in touch with an assistant was super easy, within 2 hours I was speaking to a physician via video call already. He sent me my report, prescription etc to the pharmacy and i am already feeling better. I hope their service never changes because they helped me when i couldn't get an appointment with my own family doctor. The best part was that they call you themselves to inform you about your report, follow ups etc. Highly recommended and a big thank you to the founder of this company! Really helpful, was promised a call back in 2-3 days and did not receive it but that’s not changing my opinion , as I still got the help I needed, and had someone really take some time to figure out the best path for me. It was fast , easy, and convenient and I feel like I got the assurance and a step in the right direction to the help I needed. Was given a referral to see what’s going on and I haven’t felt this relieved in YEARS! I was advised to call back in 2-3 weeks to check in . This is a really great program as sometimes mental health issues are so difficult to deal with when there are not many resources , or everything takes so much time. Booking an appointment is very easy, that's probably the biggest plus. Doctor was very direct though an hour late to our call. He ordered some tests and the results were sent to rocket doc within three days. It's been two weeks since and I can't get a hold of him. The customer service team is very polite but I have contacted them several times over the past weeks and I'm always told they'll reach out in the next day or two to book an appointment, but they never end up contacting me. They also won't release my results to me so I can show another doctor, even another rocket doc physician, because they said the original doctors permission is required, which is difficult to get since no one is concretely getting back to me. I'd suggest this service for easy things like a really quick prescription or something that doesn't require much followup, in that sense it's great.

I currently do not have a family doctor. I needed a prescription renewed for my stomach problems. The doctor could have renewed it without concerns; I have been on this medication for 5 years, as prescribed by both my now retired family doctor and a specialist. But the Rocket Doctor was unexpectedly thorough, asking about my testing & treatment history instead of just phoning in a script. And although he could have tried to keep me on the hook with their service he was more concerned about my over all medical care suggesting I find a new family doctor for ongoing care. This service is wonderful. I have used it for myself, for my daughter, for my mother and every single time we have had excellent service and help. We were especially impressed with our last experience. The intake was quick, thorough and get us an appointment in a timely manner. The doctor phoned as scheduled and was kind, thorough and very helpful. We were able to have our medical needs met and given a prescription. This service is very helpful for when you need to see a doctor but perhaps don't have a family doctor, can't get in with your family doctor and have limited access to a walk-in-clinic. I scheduled an urgent appointment based on discomfort in a "sensitive area", I was booked rapidly for the following morning with Dr. O'Connor. Because of the lack of a physical exam, I was evaluated by several very specific questions, and by the end, was explained all likely causes, was given a lab requisition for additional testing, a preventative antibiotic and advice to aid discomfort, in addition was offered a request to follow up if lab results showed any results out of the ordinary. I highly recommend Rocket Doctor. My experience was smooth and efficient, and overall, I felt taken care of.

Provided detailed personal medical information in writing; was then screened (in a most courteous manner) by a call centre person who left me exasperated and feeling like nothing more than a number. Expectations raised by the website not met! Edit: 2022/01/04 Credit where it is due: A second call centre person (supervisor?) contacted me in the evening. As I had by then already made an appointment elsewhere, I declined to take the matter further. Rating changed to 2 stars for that effort on the Rocket Doctor's part.

The doctor refused to write me a lab work for toenail fungal to validate if I have the fungal infection or not. Although I have sent pictures of the toenails as per their request.. I think this company is a scam and they only want to charge your OHIP. DO NOT USE this service. Very unhappy with the doctor. was rude and not helpful. he said you go to walkin for them to see it. I explained that I went to Chiropodist and they want to start the treatment but only after testing to validate it is indeed a toenail fungal. Their site says they write lab work, but he did not even try... and said he does not do work for other doctors !!! bull..

Each doctor may write some note about you in your profile, so for the next visit not matter if the doctor is same or not, the doctors have access to all of your information. I was really happy to find this service. I had a sinus infection that was escalating very quickly, and as a now ex smoker, I know how quickly I go from 100 to 0. I wad looking for walkin clinics in my area, and the rocket doctor site came up. I figured I would give it a go. I was amazed! Moments after I submitted the request, I received a phone call with an appointment. The doctor was prompt, very sympathetic and had a prescription off to my pharmacy before my aching head was caught up! He advised if I needed a note for work to call and make another appointment, as I was not sure if I would. I made a follow up appointment, and again, I was amazed. This is a wonderful service, and I am so grateful for being able to stay in the comfort of my home when I was feeling so poorly! 100/10 service! Covered by OHIP here in Ontario, and first rate doctors who are actually compassionate! A far cry from most these days! Thanks Doc!

Many thanks to Dr. wang at Rocket Doctor. My own physician tragically passed away far too young and I was in need of prescription renewals. I contacted Rocket Doctor and within an hour I had a phone call from Dr. Wang. Was so glad that I found this site. I was able to speak to a doctor on a Sunday afternoon, get diagnosed and have a prescription sent to my pharmacy all from the comfort of home! The alternative was to spend hours in an emergency room. The process was very easy. I filled in the online form and had a call back shortly after. Had a doctor gave me wrong prescription so tried rocket doctor. Admittedly their doctor is more thorough than the other virtual clinic's, but unfortunately he wrote the prescription wrong and took over 4 hours to sort out the prescription (I already triple checked with him before we ended the call but that didn't help), and at that time my symptoms were getting worse and i was desperate to try whatever he first prescribed me, which didn't help at all after more than 24 hhours. Throughout the wait, the clinic wasn't the most responsive. The pharmacist was even more proactive than them. I may try them one more time if i feel miserable again or have no other option with family doctor not being available but i will do my own research and confirm the prescription with the pharmacist asap.

Very quick and easy to use. Was able to book an appointment on the weekend and spoke to a doctor by phone within 24 hours. Removed a star because they charged $20 for a prescription (called it a sick note) and I saw no mention of this fee on the website. I even looked in the lengthy terms & conditions. EDIT: Two weeks later and no one reached out. To clarify, if they want to charge a fee for prescriptions, notes, or anything else, fine. But state this on the website. Instead, it clearly says, "Pay Nothing Out of Pocket. We bill OHIP directly. As a covered Ontario resident, you pay nothing." This is not true. Note that I used two other telephone walk-in clinics in the past year, and neither charged a fee for a prescription.

Give rocket doctor I try if you don't have a family doctor and you're not ready to go to a walk-in clinic then call set up a profile somebody will call you back with an appointment time it's as easy as that you can do it on video link or phone call whatever it is that you need to do whether it be fill a prescription or get some advice about a particular problem if you have an emergency call 911 you will not be disappointed these people are friendly knowledgeable and they are willing to go the distance to make sure that you get the right treatment if I could give more stars or more than 100% I would definitely do it I hope everyone has a wonderful wonderful weekend positive thinking brings positive change

I love the concept, and they call right away to set up an appointment. But I won't be using them again. They are very inconsistent and do not follow through on things, meaning you have to spend more time booking elsewhere and prescriptions/referrals are delayed. Not to mention the time wasted on getting/having an appt with them. 1st time- great. Got a call right away, got the prescription I needed. 2nd time mt husband caled- again, got a call right away. The doctor said they would set up a referral, nothing. Followed up with an email a few days later, no reply. 2nd email, no reply. 3rd time- got a phone call to set up appt right away. The doctor was 20 min late, but friendly enough, said they would send in a prescription for me. Go to pharmacy after a few days to see if it's ready to pick up, nothing had been sent in by doctor. Overall a very disappointing experience.

It is covered by OHIP! I had 2 appointments with a pediatrician and a family physician. They were both professional, great listeners- they were able to ask questions to assess in a virtual setting without it really being a problem that they were not able to assess my son physically. We were prescribed an antibiotic and it was sent to a pharmacy close by where we were able to pick it up. I had a great experience with Rocket Doctors from the person who called to set up the appointment to the physicians that I saw virtually. It was similar to a walk in clinic, because with my experience in the past, walk in clinic doctors often do not have the time to do a thorough assessment. I would recommend Rocket Doctors!

I AM EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED WITH THIS SERVICE. I called yesterday to book an appointment and was only able to schedule one for today with Dr. Marianne Awad at 12:40PM. She called me 5 minutes early - I told her I was almost home and she said she would call me back in 5 minutes, right on time for my appointment. I got home one minute later and waited for my phone to ring, while also sitting in the empty video meeting. She did not call me until 1:01PM and I just so happened to miss the call at that exact moment, while I was frantically searching my emails and the Rocket Doctor website for a way to contact customer service or the doctor. Since it was 20 minutes past my appointment time, I could no longer access the video session, or the call-only session. The doctor did not call me back and there was no way for me to reach her. When I contacted Rocket Doctor about this, they just told me my appointment was cancelled and they could book me an appointment the NEXT DAY. I am extremely angry as it appears to me that this doctor called another patient during my appointment time and only called me way after, while I was just sitting here waiting and getting paranoid that I would miss my appointment altogether.

So they're definitely better than most real life doctors but not as good as Maple (but unlike Maple they're free). With Maple you get an appointment in 10 minutes or so, the user interface is super nice, and your doctor's on time. You also have to pay for it, though. With Rocket Doctor you have to call to schedule an appointment (which itself might take some time depending on the time of day) and your appointment might be a few hours later. My doctor was a bit late but she was way better than my real life doctor (unlike the latter she actually knew how requisition forms and lifelabs works). Unlike real life doctors, either option still gets you an appointment in a reasonable amount of time, so they're still totally worth it.

Rocket Doctor is a game changer. All I have to do is fill out some info on their website, then within minutes someone calls me to schedule an appointment time. I've been able to get same-day appointments almost every time. Then I have a phone or video call with a real doctor, from the comfort of my home. The doctors do not keep me waiting, they join the video call right at the scheduled time. I don't think I will ever go back to the long waits in waiting rooms of regular walk-in clinics.

Rocket Doctor has been there for me numerous times. I don't have a family doctor so they are my lifeline right now. They write prescriptions for me for my bipolar disorder and my thyroid problem, as well as give advice on what to do when you don't have a psychiatrist, and you need a medication change (they can't change your medication, but they can help you with choosing your next steps). Dr. Dong is very informative, as are the other Doctors I've dealt with, I just don't remember their names. It's quick and easy and, to top it off I haven't had a bad experience when it comes to employee attitude. Even the 'receptionists' who call you to set the appointment up have all been very kind and accommodating. Thank you for saving my life multiple times.

I had a great experience. I needed to see a paediatrician urgently for my daughter and a virtual consultation was arranged within the same day. The entire process from start to end was systematic and organized. After you register a patient care coordinator gets back to you asap to setup the file and appointment. You can send pictures ahead of the appointment of any condition and it gets added to your file. The virtual conference is seamless and Dr Katie was a great help. This doesn’t replace the in person visit but definitely recommended in these times. The consultation is also covered by OHIP so we don’t need to pay extra (unlike Maple)

I recommend Rocket Doctor for the following reasons: the whole experience was quick and easy; I didn’t have to take a photo of my ID or a selfie for them - my health card number was sufficient. The form was quick and easy to fill out and I received a call very soon after to make an appointment. The doctor called on time and she was personable and competent. There were some issues with the video software but she (the Dr.) phoned me instead and she was able to diagnose based on the photos I emailed previously. Overall it was a good and easy experience. Oh and it’s free (covered by OHIP) and you don’t need to download an app.

Getting the appointment was super fast. Then it all went down hill. Doc said she would send the prescription to the fax # of the pharmacy I shared with her. 4 hours later, I was at the pharmacy, and they said they didn't have it. I tried to call Rocket Doctor, while I waited at the pharmacy, I was on the line for 45 minutes but no one picked up and sent me to voice mail. I tried texting my original customer care contact - no response. I emailed support, someone got back to me quickly to gather details, and then after that, radio silence. I tried calling again, same long wait time. I'm writing this now at the end of the business day, and I can't get any communication, much less, my prescription for my urgent meds. Despite it being fast, I will not use it again, as basic services such as communication and reliability are not available.

The first answer I got is "go to walk in clinic" !!!!! that is chocking !!!! you promote the online business and your first answer is go to walk in clinic ??? Note that I asked if someone can talk to my son today and the answer is all busy. Requested tomorrow the answer is the same "all busy". My son case which I described it in my initial submission is not urgent case or complicated case !!! it is nail issue (dermatology/skin). If Rocket Doctor did not like this case or feel that they can not handle, then just specify the cases you are interested in on your web site.
