I used the MDConnected online platform. Everything went so smooth. 10:20 AM I made the appointment. I received 2 phone-calls asking for information and before 11 the doctor called me. I got a prescription and a referral to the dermatologist. For an online appointment with my regular clinic I had to wait more than 2 weeks. I would give 6 stars, but I can only give 5.
The practical nurse is very nice and informative. She explained the process and educated me about the technology used for my visit. First time there, it was pretty cool!

This place is unbelievably slow. I got in @ 2 pm and did not get seen until 4 with only 3 people ahead of me. I asked the receptionist how much longer is the wait and I was told " there's 2 people ahead of you, so around 20 mins." This was @ 3:10. Only one nurse is on duty. Never coming back at this location... EVER!
First time giving 1 star to anyone. In need of medical service for family member, I booked online consultation in hope of faster response. After 3 hours no response so I inquired and shockingly 10 patients are still ahead of us. Complete waste of time. I suggest better take your family member in person nearby which will be better and faster than this guys.
The nurse was super nice and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I initially did not know it was an online doctor consultation but it was quick and just as helpful nonetheless.
Disappointing/Deflating experience - after 2 follow-up emails and waiting over 2 weeks to get an appointment to see an Ear Specialist for a serious hearing loss/tinnitus issue - Finally, it arrived. MD Connected booked OCTOBER 12, 2022. Today is NOVEMBER 9, 2021. 11 months wait time! When asked if this was a typo/error. MD Connected response: No, it's correct. Service at its best. Your tax dollars at work. Everyone got paid.

Great service. Connected to Doctor same day. The precreation got delayed few days and I had to follow up with mdconected.ca chat bot. But I was prepared for the delay so no problem.
The worse experience with one of the doctors through a phone consultation, tried to explain the condition that were experiencing he was a bit rude, he did not appreciated it when asking for a specialist recommendation since what I was experiencing was ongoing for a while, all he wanted is giving pain relief which I already had I was using for a whole already, he became rude and hang off the phone on my face.
The wait too way too long for a place that because of their technological advancement should have made things much faster. It was well worse than a regular walk-in clinic.
Contacted MD connected regarding a skin issue. I was contacted the same day I applied, which initially, made me very impressed. I was told that I would receive an email to send photos, and was scheduled an appointment with a dermatologist. I never received said email, and never got a call back. Super disappointed.
There are no possibility to mark zero this clinic service so forced to give one star. Nurse was very rude - even yelling at patients on Sunday, Dec 7, 2019. Waiting time to get a vaccine shot was more than two hours, must stayed since other clinics was already closed during the wait. I will try to contact higher instance about what happened at this place today.

Fast service, nice people and high tech.
Male receptionist turned me away months ago when I was having a breathing issue on antihistamines. He said the doctor would only see me if I paid $90 because my health card was "expired." No other place ever turned me away and he didn't even try to put it through properly even after I told him I never received a notice to replace my card. It is illegal to turn someone away for health services who may be experiencing an emergency. Their desk staff needs retraining if they don't understand that. Insisting I pay unnecessarily was incredibly inappropriate. I ended up in the hospital for 4 hours waiting for tests because this clinic refused to see me. I could have been examined faster had I not been turned away. Thankfully it wasn't serious, only mild asthma. And then today they send me an email because they added me to a mailing list without my consent! And with the wrong first name! Very unprofessional. Why would I go there again?

I had Nancy and all I can say is wow, it was like Magic I felt absolutely nothing , if I wasn’t look right at my arm when she did it I would have never believed she took my blood.
Very fast response after completing the registration form. The Doctor called me less than an hour later and addressed my concerns immediately. He provided a Sick Note shortly after, saving time, money, and stress. This is the easiest online process and covered by OHIP, I would absolutely recommend using this service!
Our family was on vacation up north when my wife contracted shingles. We accessed MD connected to get medication for her. WELL we were disappointed with the prescription of naproxen. FOR SHINGLES! She took ibuprofen cause the naproxen were ineffective. When we got home and saw our family medical team, she was sent to emergency where she received the appropriate medication. Had she been properly diagnosed, I am positive she wouldn't have had to go through the pain and now she's scarred. I'll never use them again. Strike 2, I had a similar experience before this.
Went there based on the 4 stars it had just to be rejected care since my baby is 10 month old...be aware they only treat kids over 2y. I guess this is a bad practice, been in other walk in clinics where they treated my son.
Staffs are friendly but for some reason they are taking time to complete prerequisite and initiate tele conference with doctor.
One appoinment per issue even if you are not going to take much of their time. Appoinments are online an they barely take 3 minutes to hear. All this has to do with their compensation. Unethical & unfair for the taxpayers. Doctors treat you as if they were making us a favor when they are making a lot of money with the taxes we pay. Receptionists aren't also polite.
Staff very well mannered. Showed positive outlook and very friendly. Once in room, the nurse examined me, was gentle, spoke very well. Talking to the doctor on the big screen was excellent, spoke clearly, very comforting. Definitely coming back when needed.

This is a really one of the amazing clinic i have been to! They are having a experienced nurse taking care of yours. Moreover, the doctors are available always online and they are assessing it on video conference. The nurse was very kind, intelligent enough to deal with the situation and supportive.

Unsympethic and unprofessional group of people. They misdiagnosed my mother and judge there basis cause she was a smoker not not on the symptoms or background history. Not too mention they prescribed her medication that would have killed her if she had taken them. I'd never go there again and recommend you think twice. If I had the money I'd sue then for Mel-practice.
A very poor, unprofessional, and sketchy virtual experience that I would not recommend to anyone; this clinic had zero follow-up for even the initial appointment and longer wait times than actually going to an in-person walk-in clinic. A friend had what appeared to be very large, inflamed bug bites and we needed to access a doctor; we filled out the online form at 7pm and was contacted at 11am the next day - an entire 16 hours later - where we received a voicemail saying we needed to call them back in the next 10 minutes for the doctor to assess the bite. We unfortunately checked the message 15 minutes later and tried to call back, but was unable to reach anyone at all. Nobody else tried to reach out to us after that voicemail and we had to go to a walk-in anyways. Extremely disappointing service with unreasonable expectations from customers with a 10-minute gap for call-back and nobody to service us when we did actually call back. EDIT: to clarify the date, we filled out the form on December 6 and was contacted at 11am on December 7, so holiday hours were not the issue.
Would first and foremost like to say my experience using this service was amazing. I was taken seriously for my ailments. My nurse Marlea from the triage team did the most to make me feel super comfortable and well taken care of. She went above and beyond hearing my concerns and I was taken care of exceptionally fast. I’ve never had a better experience, and will be using this service moving forward.

During covid the actual walk in was closed and I had a cpl issues of getting script refills as they weren't sent to the pharmacy after a " virtual" visit. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars but not only because of the great doctors but the frontline nursing staff that actually do care!!

Not recommended. Dr. Gaid and Dr. Khella never connected back even after calling MD Connected multiple times. We needed a reference for a specialist but never got any revert.

Great experience with their team on Sunday. I expected them to be super busy, but I got a phone call back right away after 1 hour to confirm my appointment with a doctor. The doctor called me within the next half an hr. I received the treatment advice that I needed. Although the doctor sounded like she was in a rush (understandable), she was still able to answer all my questions and gave me advice. The doctor sent the prescription to my nearest Rexall and I got the medicine within the hour. From booking to receiving treatment and medicine it only took 2- 3 hrs.
Would give zero if able to... came at 930 and registered. I was told the nurse would be late at around 10am -1015am. So I told the front desk I'd be back before 10am, which I was. Walked in and I was told that the nurse wouldn't be in til 1030 now and that I was put to the back of the line. How was I put to the back of the line if you dont even have a nurse yet? Front desk staff was condescending and smiling as he told me this. Very unprofessional which made me extremely upset. Worst clinic I've been to in my life.
I'm usually not a person to complain but this is ridiculous I've waited sick for 8 hours and counting for a call back and everytime I call I just hear "a doctor will call you soon". Will update if I ever get a call
I used their online virtual service. Nobody called me and the customer service ignored me when I complained. They just need your ohip number they make plenty of money through doing this without giving needing to prescribe you any medications or diagnose you.

Went online and requested a video appointment. Didn't receive an email. Chated to the admin and asked if im going to get an email. They said they would call me. I let them know the number i put on file wont take private calls so i gave them my house number to call. Admin said they would call on that number. Stayed up till 12am waiting for a call. Emailed in asking if they are even going to let me know they aren't calling. Another admin said they called me 20 minutes after i spoke with the first admin and i didnt answer which meant they called the number i told them not to. Didnt even leave a message so I didnt know. Now im still in pain, no answers, sick and going to lack sleep for work tommorrow and of course they take no responsibility that they f'd up ....reading the reviews now...wish i would have read them first. This seems like a regular occurrence. Do you think they just take your health card number and bill ohip even though they make no effort to actually talk to you. Honestly im getting that vibe from reading these reviews. Seems scammy to me.

No doctor on-site (the doctor FaceTimes you instead). The receptionist was very rude. She cares more about swiping OHIP cards than about the patient. Just an awful place all around.
I went here today for vaccinations and a prescription, because I was traveling in a few weeks. I was told it would be about an hour before I'm seen. I was told I could go and come back in an hour. I come back an hour later and had to wait almost another hour before I'm let into the patient room. The nurse checks my blood pressure and takes note of what I'm requesting. Ten minutes later, the doctor calls in via videoconference. I tell him again why I'm there. He tells me I'll have to pay for my visit, because OHIP won't cover travel related visits. I'm taken aback, because I'm a frequent traveler and I've lived in Canada all my life and have never been told this before. I ask politely if he's mistaken as I've been to my family doctor and other clinics before for the same reason and I've never been charged. He tells me rather curtly my family doctor was doing me a favor and it's fraud. Having already waited for two hours, I ask what the fee would be. No one knows and I have to wait another ten minutes for the nurse to find out. Turns out they want $75 plus tax for the visit. I politely tell the nurse I'd rather go elsewhere and leave the clinic. Long story short, I'm not mad they wanted to charge for the visit, I'm mad my time was wasted. I would've appreciated being told up front, not after waiting two hours. I could've gone elsewhere. To be fair, the nurse and receptionist were very friendly and apologetic, so nothing against them. However, the wait times are long here and the clinic is disorganized.

I was told it would not be a long wait but after an hour and a half only 2 patients went in and one came out. The other apparently waiting for the doctor to come on line. So then they decided to let a couple in who just walked through the door with their children because they only wanted flu shots. They said that would only take 5 minutes. ( it took ten) . They told me it may take only another 15 mins if I waited and that was if a patient from shoppers next door did not show up. The nurse is supposed to test you before the doc gives out meds. Why did they not test me before the walk in flu shot family? Well because they can make extra money i guess. You would think with Video doc it would streamline operations but this olace had all the high tech look but wasted my time. In the end i walked out. Terrible service.Although the receptionist was freindly. Who would have thought that you would not only have to wait to get in but then wait for a doctor to actually come on line. Very very disapointed that i wasted my time and now back home with a possible infection thats giving me pain.

Booked appointment at their virtual clinic 3 times once the nurse called doctor never called.Rest of times no one ever called.I tried to contact them through phone such rude terrible staff online/offline,no intentions of helping.I explained how many times i booked the appointment and no one called.All they had to say was 'book again and wait all day for doctor to call.' They didnt even have the decency to apologize for the hell they put a patient(someone who is already in pain) through or even book an appointmemt for me.Such people do not deserve to work in healthcare field they dont deserve to be dealing with people who are already suffering.Such heartless people should be reported to the governmemt as they are lying and saying they are seeing patients and charging the government for all 3 appointments but not calling and helping them even once.Shame on you for pretending to have such a noble cause as to help people in pain during a global pandemic and not even bothering to give a call.You are a shame to Canadian Health Care System.

The nurse was professional, thorough and personable. The wait was short. The negative part was I neglected to notice on the website that this was a video session with a doctor. It was difficult to see the doctor's face on the screen, the audio cut out frequently and I missed several words, which makes me think it's likely the reverse was true also. I'm afraid that video contact is not as effective as face-to-face communication, too much of what we 'say' is non-verbal and is completely lost with this technology.

This place is horrible! It is run by, what seems like, a bunch of inept and lazy high school kids. Every time l needed to use this service(as l could not get a doctor in my town for over a year when l relocated) l was given the run around by the receptionists, administrators and even the newbie, imported doctors who continuously forgot to send documents to labs and repeatedly made time-costing mistakes. What a nightmare! Thank goodness it’s over, whew!

This is our 3rd time going here and each time has been amazing. All the nurses we have seen there have been great. The nurses do the heavy lifting and a doctor skypes in to confirm, so you don't have to wait long. Today we saw Jessie - she was very personable, thorough and clearly very competent. This place is so efficient it actually took us longer to get the prescription filled than it did to wait, see the nurse, get a diagnosis and a prescription. I almost hate to review it as I don't want the secret to get out, but hopefully it will lead to more places with this type of model.

I went to this clinic because I had strep throat. I informed the doctor that I had an allergy to penicillin, and he prescribed me another antibiotic. Three days after taking these antibiotics and I have hives all over my body. My eyes are so swollen, I look like I got punched in the eye. I took the antibiotics thinking that the doctor knew what he wa doing, but clearly he did not. It should have tipped me off when he asked “what happens when you have penicillin”. It shouldn’t matter, I am allergic! I wish I could give these guys -5 stars. Will never go back there again. Stay away!

Came in as a walk-in patient. Was very impressed with my visit. The doctor and staff were all very pleasant, professional, and friendly. The doctor answered all my medical questions and I did not feel rushed during my appointment. Was also able to do my blood work right next door and pick up my prescription at Shoppers all in one location.

Was there today for the 2nd time in 4 months. Both times were great experiences. Saw the nurse JESSIE both times, she is very skilled at her job,asks all the right questions and cares. I was in and out in about 20 mins both times. I am very pleased with my experience here. Who knew that a walk in could be so painless, I was not worried about video calling with the doctor it is very easy, and you are in very good hands with JESSIE. I will recommend this place to all my friends.
The doctor diagnosed me through video conferencing, doctors are not physically present in the clinic, nurses look at the patients, brief the doctor, and the doctors spend like 2 minutes with the patients. In my case i told the doctor that i was having extreme pain in my back, chest and stomach, and had also started a keto diet about 5 days back, on which the doctor said it was acid reflux, i tried to persistently tell him that the pain was exruciating and i dont feel like it would be just acid reflux caused because of keto diet, i was given pantaprozole as medication. A day later as i couldnt bear the pain, i went to a hospital, where i was diagnosed with blood clot on my right lung, something called ‘Pulmonary embolism’. The staff, admin, everybody else was friendly, but sometimes, the doctors i guess dont treat the patients coming to a walk In clinic seriously. So overall, i did not have a good experience, and wish patients in the clinics are taken more seriously, which could help in reducing significant fatalities.
Visited the MD walk in clinic today. Very cool concept - I was a little weirded out by the telemedicine concept at first, the doctor visit was pretty much the same as if I went to a regular walk in, but with a super short wait (5 minutes!). The nurse was great too - really nice and knowledgeable. Overall great experience!
The best clinic I have visited. My son was ill and I brought him to the clinic. We are were seen quickly, and the Nurse Jessie was professional and kind. The doctor was amazing, she spoke to me and my son instead of just me. That personal connection matters. I have been back several times and I highly recommend this clinic.
