Great customer service from the Lab Staff. Very attentive and no wait time (I went at 11am on a Tuesday). The walk-in portion was a different story. The receptionist pretended not to see me standing in front of her (I was the only one there) until 5 minutes later. Wasn't very welcoming and just seemed to be busy doing whatever she was doing. The wait time was ok though. Wasn't long before I saw a doctor.

Worst, do not go. Take the time to travel elsewhere. The staff were some of the coldest, negative and insensitive people I have ever dealt with. I will never go back despite the fact that is it close to me. The doctors were so cold and unhelpful it is astonishing. They should be ashamed. Worst experience at a clinic I have ever had. Will never go back and I recommend no one else to waste their time here.

Useless doctors. I will never visit this place again and will never suggest anybody. The doctors are always in too much hurry to leave the room. They don't even explain the reason of illness. I asked the reason of my infection, the doctor said it happens in most of the woman I don't know why. I was very disappointed. I should have research about this place before going. Very disappointing.

Absolutely garbage experience. Went back for a follow up after an already frustrating experience. The staff were so unknowledgeable and unprofessional. The intake nurse tried to address private information in the public waiting room. They had no knowledge of why I would be asked to come back for a follow up though I was mailed a document with the MCI letter head. This office is terrible and if you have the option to go anywhere else I would take it.

In addition, she gave me a prescription that I never asked for. Now I wonder if she even listened to me. The appointment was very rushed. Ignorant people.

This is absolutely the worst place ever. I read the reviews before i went there this week and i don't know why i didn't listen. The receptionist the doctor, the lab, all completely rude and uninformed. It's sickening that this place is still running and even more sickening that the responses from the owners to people's comments on these reviews are not even addressing the fact that everyone has had poor experiences - excuse me painfully excruciating experiences. They do not care at all. It's the worst place. Do not waste your time, the reviews are accurate to the T. This place needs to shut down asap. Absolutely ridiculous!

Front desk staff was friendly. I only went here because The walk in I usually go to was closed for the Canada Da holiday. I will never go back. Dr Olenka Trinchuk was rude and dismissive. She had terrible bedside manner. And I wasn't finished and she abruptly left the room saying goodbye. I actually had to call out to say "Can you come back I'm not done yet." Brutal.

All of the staff are a disappointment but Tal Platzker is probably the worst doctor I've ever encountered. She had misdiagnosed me with adenomyosis/endometriosis when I just had a hormonal imbalance. Sent me to multiple ultrasounds and blood tests (almost on a weekly basis) only to tell me the test results are inconclusive and I'd have to go again for a better read. She had made a rude/judgemental comment about my weight when I told her what my workout routine is like. I honestly don't know how she's still a practicing doctor and how many misdiagnosed patients are out there, anxiety ridden with the worst case scenario like I was for months before reaching out to a different doctor.

The doctor was great once I finally saw her. All the same, I could not help but wonder how it could possibly take 2 full hours to be seen at 9:30 in the morning. Never in my life have I waited more than 30 minutes at a walk in...even once I saw her I was only sat for like 3 minutes, so I am beyond confused. Ahead of me only 3 people got called and they were in an out as well, so I really don't get.

The clinic deserve -7 stars after 3 visits so they can find my exame that they lost they did everything possible to make me pay a new consultation because I have private insurance. They just told me to go to a especiallist with no referral. After having to pay all new exams and consultation in a different clinic the doctor say my ecogram was done incorrectly. No doubt the worst service in Toronto. I don't recommend. After all that the receptionist still wanna be right and say the exame was not done there, we have to prove the payment so she can start looking for my results. Avoid this clinic really disorganized.

I don't typically go to a walk-in clinic unless I have real concerns, that being said I came in for an issue I was having and the doctor seemed very friendly. When I showed him my concerns regarding what could be an infection and inflammation he looked at the area from 3 feet away and did not do a proper examination. He only pointed to the area of irritation even though he had gloves, a mask and googles on. He even asked ME what some of the discolouration was! He diagnosed the problem, gave me an over the counter prescription and told me to come back in a week. After applying the prescribed medication the infected area got much worse and pain developed after the first day. The medication actually caused the infection to spread and I went to my local walk-in clinic in Burlington who was shocked and appalled by the treatment I received and professionalism I experienced. He told me what the doctor had prescribed was absolutely wrong and if he had done a proper examination he wouldn't have prescribed the treatment he recommended. "Sounds like he just wanted to send you on your way" ~ my Burlington doctor quoted. My Burlington doctor prescribed the correct treatment and I am recovering nicely now. Who knows what damage the MCI doctor did to me but I can only imagine what they've done to other patients. Scary thought... think twice before coming here.

Ignorant people. Please do not go unless you wanna waste your time. I went with an extreme throat infection and a high fever. The lady doctor took a swab test and said I would have to wait till Monday for the report. And when i asked her for a prescription drug based on my past history of similar cases, she just denied Rudely and walked off the room. To which i was shown the way to the door by another assistant. THEN i went to another walk in clinic nearby. The doctor ACKNOWLEDGED THAT I HAD FEVER AND THROAT INFECTION. and she prescribed me a medicine. I was aware of the Pathetic reviews about this MCI place, however i went because it was closest to my home. People, i request you all to read the reviews and trust them... I am a Karma believer but i m doing this to prevent people from wasting their times...

Was told I had been given the referral I need to see a neurologist at another location. No contact to the other location was made, so no referral was actually given. Staff does not listen so prepare to repeat yourself a lot. Unprofessional, rude, and completely inept.

Went here for blood work. Told it would be back within 48 hours and sent to my Doctor in time for my appointment. Went to my doctors appt and nothing was sent. Called and followed up and was told I would get a call back that day. TWO weeks later no call, no results. I call back and they said they still don’t have the results and are waiting for the lab. Second time I’ve heard that, Horrible! Follow up - Called back TWICE since my original post and was told they are still waiting for the lab and would call me back by end of day. Called back again today, FOUR WEEKS after my blood work and FINALLY there are results. Were they sent to my Doctor? No. So now I need to go and pick them up. The incompetence is astounding.

I had occasion to visit this walk in clinic today.I do not live in Toronto and had to renew a prescription. I found the staff attentive and friendly. I was in and out in less than an hour.Quite reasonable as Other patients with appointments were being seen as well Overall experience much better than reviews I read

If I could give it a zero star I would. I went to the walk-in-clinic (First Canadian) with extreme exhaustion, dizziness, light headedness and fluctuated blood pressure that I had been experiencing over the week. After waiting for 1.30 mintues the nurse finally called. After assessment, it was my turn to be seen by the doctor, but 45 mintues later and seeing 6 patients who registered after me, I found out that my health issues were not important enough to be seen by their doctor. But they did not have the decency to at least tell me not to waste my time. I left the clinic cancelling my healthcard without an apology. I felt discriminated, disappointed and angry. Do we really pay a ton of tax for their salaries to be treated this way?

Early hours and good location are ideal for people working downtown on Bay. I was a bit skeptical, given the less-than-ideal reviews, but can only say I was very pleasantly surprised. I showed-up at 7:20am with out-of-province insurance, was speaking with a completely professional and pleasant doctor by 7:45. The only slow-down was at the lab, but even then I was done and back on my way to work by 8:45. All the staff I encountered and spoke with were very courteous and professional. I can't speak to what times might be like later during the day, but given my experience this is an absolutely fine clinic that I would recommend to anyone working on Bay St and in need of a quick check-up.

I am forever grateful for Dr. Elena Pankratieva. She is so responsible and patient! My discomfort was caused by such a simple thing that a little more detailed exam of my body would help figure out. However non of the other doctors I saw took this extra step of exam. Dr. Elena did! And helped me figured out what caused my body’s problem so fast and precisely.

MCI Lab for blood work is hard to find. It's in the back of some dental place. Better signage required. The place has low reception for Koodo Mobile. No WiFi. They call out patient names in the waiting area. I prefer to receive a waiting number instead. The nurse didn't do a good job. As the needle went in, I felt a pain sensation unlike the usual blood work pain. 30 minutes later I'm still feeling a low oozing pain from the place. I think the needle went somewhere it wasn't supposed to go into (like muscle).

Lab staff were not only rude, but uninformed. Go to LifeLabs - don't bother here. I brought in bloodwork requisition forms and the woman at the desk laughed at me, telling me I didn't have the correct paperwork, and that I needed to go to Sick Kids (I'm a full grown adult). I told her my doctor had said this was all the paperwork I required and I could go to any blood lab, she sent me away. I came back to ask her a question and walked into the room while she was telling the other staff what an idiot I was and laughing at me. When I called her out, she said, "I feel sorry for you, I'm trying to help you" in an incredibly condescending way. I went straight to Life Labs and got what I needed done, no attitude whatsoever, and no trip to Sick Kids necessary. I would go out of my way to avoid this location.

Review updated: Dr. Elena Panketieva is an excellent doctor. Takes the time to explain everything and check all the necessary things you'd want a doctor to check. A world of difference from the other doctor mentioned below. Also the nurse/receptionist Joan is very kind and nothing like the other Filipina lady that works at the front desk that is frankly just rude. Original review: Avoid Dr. Platzker. In my experience, she doesn't seem to do a very thorough job of checking symptoms and generally rushes to finish with patients even when the clinic isn't busy. Furthermore she doesn't even really seem to care about her patients at all. I'm sure that MCI will do their standard apology response that they do with every other poor rating on here but they clearly don't care or they'd do something about it.

Their office hours state 730 open but no doctors are present at that time. They make you wait til the doctor arrives at their leisure. I was told the doctor was with a patient from 7:32am to 8:08 (now) and still none of the three patients ahead of me has gone in. Came in early to the doctor but they don’t seem to respect anyone’s time. Very disappointed!

The ER at a wonderful hospital was where my dad went to when he was having trouble and we did not know what it was. The nurses were so kind and helpful and treated him with such speed and sincerity. It turns out he had a stomach infection and the doctors diagnosed it and he is now recovering. They do a lot of tests and make sure they follow you closely. This is why it is one of the best hospitals in the world.

Went to this clinic with a bad case of bronchitis. Said that antibiotics weren't necessary after having barely listened to my chest. two days later, I was in the hospital coughing up blood with a bad case of pneumonia. Was told that if I had started antibiotics, it could have at least been less severe.

We visited Dr. Tal Platzker for a minor toe fracture. She seemed to be very distracted and in a rush and would not answer our questions. She referred us to go to the emergency to get a cast but would not tell us if it was imperative as we even let her know that the pain was very minor. We asked her what is involved in getting a cast (as neither of us have experienced this before) and she said that the specialist at the hospital would give us more details, leading us to believe that she had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. She kept saying 'I'm not sure' and 'something like that' which is completely unhelpful and unacceptable coming from a health care professional. I'm never visiting or recommending this walk in clinic again.

As with many people, it’s very difficult with my schedule to be able to make time to visit a lab with their early closing times. I urgently needed a blood test and I saw this clinic was close to my work and I’d be able to arrive an hour before it closed. I waited for 50 minutes until I was put in a room. It made me a bit nervous only having 10 minutes before the lab was closed, but I figured it would most likely be enough time to get it done. But of course, after seeing a person who was after me get tended to first, the doctor didn’t end up coming into the room until those 10 minutes were up. The doctor told me the lab was closed and gave me a referral. The entire point of this trip was because I don’t have time and needed to do it all in one shot or it would delay me another week. So I said to her that I should have at least been warned that it was a possibility I wouldn’t get in on time. She then passive aggressively says “We don’t control that, if you have an issue you can take it up with office management” and storms off leaving me in the room with the prescription she printed on her desk. A prescription for a medicine I already told her I was using! So this is what my tax dollars are going to? I’d rather have those dollars go to cooling the servers of the computers automating the menial tasks that Dr. Tal Platzker carried out during that 60 second appointment. At least that wouldn’t waste over an hour doing so. She is easily the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever seen. I will definitely not be using her referral as I don’t plan on dealing with this place ever again.

The doctor consultation was good, se made allot of question and was really nice, but the blood test secretary did not look like she knew what she was doing with the papers, and after i received a call asking if my husband could come and re do on exames because there was a mistake during the test. On the next day they try to change a new consultation with the doctor and a new exame. I think 700 dollars for a basic check up its not correct if the mistake was from the hospital and not ours. The clinic look clean and i like the doctors, but i would not tell my friends to go there.

I went this morning to this clinic because i was feeling horrible. It was my first time. The staff and Dr. Amin were friendly, professional and quick. They got my sample and tested right there. I was out in less than an hour. I was happy with their service and will go back again.

Terrible, Careless & Dangerous.. Yes Dangerous because they administered expired vaccine to my wife. They have no absolutely no systems in place. The doctor, Tal Platzker, did not feel even a tiny bit like apologizing or acted as it they do such mistakes daily. She said "oh ya we didn't see the expiry date". The moment we asked for the record of what happened, they started playing games, first asked a fee for their mistake, and they the doctor/nurse/staff started blaming each other to avoid giving us the record. Absolutely AVOID.

I was very displeased with how unprofessional the staff was. The receptionist was short and didn't answer my questions and I couldn't believe how rude the doctor was. She did not hear what I had to say and I had to ask her to look at my injury instead of just continuing to read a report on it. Very bad experience! Impossible to get a straight answer from their personnel. Their intake form provides for the option of receiving lab results via email, and then they tell you they can't do that. Horrible experience; never coming back. **** Update. Finally someone got in contact with me about my lab results. They specifically told me that the doctor wanted to discuss them with me. After showing up and waiting to be seen thinking there was something wrong with me, the doctor told me that everything was fine and that she did not understand why I had been contacted to go to the office if the results were okay and I had already received my treatment. If you care about your health and been treated with respect, avoid this place at all costs.

The office is clean and modern. However, doctors are not good here - they kinda want you gone asap. One doctor even gave me wrong diagnosis. Most of the Filipino receptionists and nurses here are plain rude (unlike these people I have Filipino friends at school who are very friendly) I would never go back again. These people should not be in the medical professions!

Reception Staff cannot give a straight answer. Very poor communication skills. This is astonishing for a doctors office. They should be able to convey the results. As in... Is my test positive? Yes or No. Other than that, the doctors have been really thorough both of my visits. No complaints about bed side manners.

i had been here several times. Not always good, but okay to visit again when i have medical concerns. however, today I did not receive any useful advice on my concern. I expressed my doubt and confusion to the doctor, and what he suggested is either fully truat his explaination(which I was not convinced to) or see another doctor. And then they would like to charge 20 dollars for a doctor note, which is really strange. Will not visit again, although thanks to the suggestion, im sitting in another clinic for more examination.

The doctors were fine considering it's a walk-in clinic but the receptionists were some of the rudest I've ever had to deal with. I asked for some information regarding transferring medical records since I have no experience dealing with this but the lady was dismissive and even cut me off at some points while asking my question. Would've been an overall good experience if not for the receptionists' rude behaviour.

I had a very pleasant experience. The receptionist was a nurse filling in after the Canada Long Weekend. She was very friendly and honest about the wait times... and they were lengthy after the weekend with only one doctor in. I took the time to have a well needed nap. The doctor was rushed, but she was doing her best to see all patients. I don't need the doctor to be friendly and bubbly but I do expect professionalism which is what I received. Walk Ins should be used for illness like colds, sore throats, fevers... not for on going diagnosis. In my case I was tested for strep and 10 minutes later it was confirmed and off I went with my prescription.

This is the worst practice I have ever been to. I had two problems and. Doctor told me that he can only look at one problem. And that it’s almost 6pm and he has 10 more patients to see. This is not an acceptable excuse. Second time I went with 1 issue and asked doctor if she can give me referral for the first issue. Again the same excuse, one issue one visit .. I mean then you should ask issues to patient while booking the appointment. Worst walkin clinic. It should be called a clinic.

I was dissapointed in last doctor as she was not wearing gloves while checking my me, I find this very un sanitsry I should have told her but my mistake did not, especially with this virus going around and someone was really sick the day i was there and taken to hospital, but we were not advised anything???. I would give them o stars if it was an option here. I'm pregnant and started bleeding all of a sudden so I went there to request a quick ultrasound to confirm if the baby's heart was still beating. At first the Doctor was making excuses as to "it's fine and go and follow up with your MD" then I insisted and she went back to bring the ultrasound tools.... I waited 15 mins (the total wait time 1 hour and half!) only to be told that they were out of gel and can't do anything for me!!!!! Unbelievable.... Never go back ever again.....

Worst receptionist sitting when you enter the clinic, she never attends phone when you call back in response to her call. Two visits both terrible. Management must think about poor rating people are awarding to this location.
