Dr. Harvey is attentive, a good listener and works with me for my health needs. He's knowledgeable, offers appropriate options and explores my comfort levels when making any changes or decisions. I like that he takes his time making sure my concerns are met and isn't the kind of doctor who just wants to get you in and out as fast as possible. Genuinely seems like a relaxed, nice guy who has my best interests as a priority with a lot of experience and medical research to offer. After every appointment, I've left feeling calm and confident that I have a doctor that is working with me for my health goals. I switched to Dr. H after my family doctor is in the process of retiring after being a patient for over 25 years. The transition process was easy, seamless and felt very good to have a fresh take moving forward. Also, the reception and nurse at the front were exceedingly nice, attentive, organized and welcoming.

Dr. Fola is amazing! The receptionist is also a very lovely woman. I do however think people have extremely high expectations of the way things should evolve around them. The office is clean and well run. I do get a kick out of listening to others complaining though. YES - you do need to call at 9am when the office opens in order to book a same-day appointment. At least it IS POSSIBLE to get a same-day app, whereas some offices book far in advance. YES - you can book a future appointment for things like physicals, and you can call anytime during open hours to do so. This office does the best they can to balance both types of appointments for they're patients, and I think the receptionist does a damn good job at it! YES - I've had to call a dozen times or more to try to get through to get a same day appointment. Sometimes I'm able to, and sometimes not, so I try again the next morning. I'm ok with that. Dr. Fola is quite honestly the 1st Dr. I've met in a long time whom actually LISTENS, and I've become grateful for having her. I also think people forget how many doctors we DON'T have, which is the reason for so many walk-in clinics and they're overworked staff. But by all means, continue to be the many whom clog up the system because your parents forget to teach you how to handle a basic fever / cold / flu. I also think that if you're one of these people, you should start being billed for it. I think that would solve the problem of whether or not you can get an appointment, or if it's really necessary. As you can see by the other reviews, they all seem to fit.

Dr Fola and her team are kind, caring and compassionate. There is definitely a family feel when I go in there. The team works well together, the office is clean and organized and bright, lots of windows. I love the new (and permanent) location at the rizzardo health and wellness building. Yes I agree sometimes its hard to get an appointment but they now have a site you can go to book in advance. If you need something urgently, the receptionist is pretty good about fitting you in if it's an urgent concern. I understand sometimes it's not the most convenient system, but with so many patients and such high demand it's going to take some adjusting which I feel like theyve done. I appreciate how thorough and kind doctor Fola is, she takes her time with me which I sincerely appreciate... I am grateful to have her for my doctor even though the appointment schedule could use some work. I cant base my rating off of that. She is a great doctor and I wish more were like her.

I feel like they need a new system in place. I called 33 times one morning and left a number of messages that were never returned. I've never seen a clinic run like this. It's a shame because it is nice having a doctor nearby. I am regretting the decision to leave our previous doctor, making the commute would have been less stressful.

Worst clinic with booking appointments. Can't even get my son in to see the doctor. I was only given an option for a phone appointment, which I already had. Switched doctors for someone closer after looking for years. A complete joke. The walk in has been more helpful.

Unfortunately I just moved far away from my family doctor in Mississauga and started experiencing some health issues but for some reason they keep denying me an appointment so at this point I have no choice..

Love Dr. Fola but her office staff is not organized at all. I was told i could book online at 8:30 then she stated 8am, so no clarification there. And quiet short and rude when speaking to her. Dr. Fola however is awesome and really cares about mental health and is very direct with what is wrong and needed to help.

I’m so thankful to have Dr. Fola as our family Dr. She fabulous, and always fits us in for last minute appointments! Receptionist also are really great, yes they are busy yes sometimes you have to leave a message but they will and do return your call, sometimes even Dr. Fola herself returns the calls.

Honestly I thought having a famity doctor finally here in innisfil would help me and my family so much. But the line is always busy and they are always booked. I honestly don't understand how this doctors office operates. They should be much more organized and get more staff if they are so "busy" all the time. They really need to put their patients needs as first priority.

Saw Dr. Harvey for the first time after a few phone appointments. Excellent doctor. He took the time to listen to me. Asked appropriate questions and showed empathy. He’s very personable and makes you feel comfortable in uncomfortable situations ie. certain exams.

The service is bad!!! Every time I call like 17 times , no one answer. Every time I go from 9 to 9:30 am to book a same day appt, they say we're fully booked, then when appointments will be available??? once I went there to see the doctor, I was told that I can go to walk in clinic to see her!

It’s sad because I actually enjoy Fola as a doctor. However, it is EXTREMELY frustrating that you can never get through to talk to someone. The phone doesn’t even ring anymore when you call. It gives you a bunch of options, “to stay on the line if you want to me connected.” Yet, goes right to their voicemail. Book an appointment online, you won’t get in for months. I seriously don’t understand the point of having a family doctor. It’s a shame. Walk in clinics are hesitant to help because I do have a family doctor and I try to tell them how useless of a doctor she is. Get a better system.

If I could rate 0 stars I would.. Dr.William Harvey has given me nothing but the worse experiences ever, when signing up to be his patient he wants us to only go to him not even clinics but when you need to see him you need to book like 2 months in advance, when you have a phone appointment you might as well clear your schedule for the day since that can take up to 4 hours after your initial time they give you.. when first signing up it seemed so promising that he would be an amazing family doctor, sadly that wasn’t lived to expectations.

Dr. Fola has been a great doctor so far since we've been with her. Yes it can take some time to get an appointment but once you do have an appointment you don't wait long at all and she is patient and kind. there are also same day appointments available. Compared to my last doctor, she is so great & the staff is lovely too!

Their phone system is terrible! After calling back 57 times this morning I finally got through only to be told "it's the luck of the draw" if you are able to get an answer or not. I have called on three different occasions to get an appointment for my children since Dr.Fola became our doctor recently. Everytime I ended up having to take them to a walk in clinic in Barrie and wait hours with a sick child. Not sure what the point of having a doctor in town is. Also the receptionist is rude. Myself andt m two children have yet to meet Dr.Fola as our meet and greet appoinment was abruptly cancelcan. We found out the appointment was cancelled upon arrival, after my husband and myself took the day off of work and took our children out of school to attend. Overall disappointed to say the very least with this office.

My favorite part about Dr. Fola is that she really takes the time to listen, and I have never felt rushed or unheard. Secondly is that she does NOT have a prescription pad out and ready to be written on before I am done talking. She is a real doctor, not a running pharmaceutical company sponsorship. This is a very refreshing. Thank you very much Dr. Fola and team. Keep doing what you are doing and dont let the impatient and entitled make you think otherwise.

Same as previous posts. They will only take same day appointments and you can only call starting at 9 am each day. I can never get through. Phone rings and goes directly to voice mail (you cannot leave a message) or phone is busy. When you can finally get through they have no appointments available and tell you to call back tomorrow! If you are that busy, hire another receptionist to take calls and appointments. Very unprofessional and a disservice to your patients. This policy only benefits the doctor, not the patients.

There was a shortage of family physicians some time ago in Innisfil, so I kept my beloved doctor in Toronto. But it became unsustainable to travel. After checking out some possibilities, I resonated with Dr. Fola's kindness. Getting to know her, I see that my first impressions were correct: she is an "old fashioned" doctor who listens without rushing. She is also open to an integrated team approach, and alternative treatments. She will share lab results with my Naturopath if I request it. That is going beyond the norm, and I really appreciate her kindness, knowledge, and open mindedness.
