Atlas Medical Clinic is highly praised on yelp, so I decided to take a trip down to see them today. The receptionists are so lovely, and greet you when you walk in, They are also patient with you, and don't make you feel rushed during the check-in process, as a new patient that was very appreciated My walk-in doctor was Dr Wang, and he was delightful as well. A very friendly and approachable doctor, he doesn't pry to much into your personal life, he listens to your needs and makes them priority and treats you accordingly, I have to say this is the first time I haven't felt judged during a walk-in appointment. He also gave me a lot of useful information many other walk-in doctors just do not bother to tell you. The ladies who work in the pharmacy are just as nice, and very through. Even though I have had puffers most of my life she still took the time just to refresh my memory, instead of assuming I was good to go. Everyone in this clinic is very friendly, attentive, and full of positive energy. It was absolutely refreshing, They made me feel like a regular patient the ENTIRE time. I would absolutely recommend this clinic if you get nervous going to walk-in clinics, or are just a nervous body like myself! They really make you feel at home Thanks Atlas for making me feel welcome and caring to my medical needs!

Visited the clinic on October 22 regarding stomach issues. The receptionist was relatively new and obviously did not know what she was doing. I needed medical advice and an urgent doctors note for the classes I have missed due to my illness. The receptionist informed me that she will forward the information to the doctor and get the note for me by today. However, the clinic is now closed and I still have not received the email back. Due to this, I now risk the possibility of failing my classes. So unprofessional. Will not be coming back.

I am not a patient, but I will say my opinion has been truly colored based on my interaction, or lack there of with the staff here today. I was sent over to deliver food, i arrived and stood in the middle of the waiting room with zero acknowledgment . There were two women at the front desk and one to my right in the pharmacy. I stood for atleast 3 minutes. There was no eye contact, no acknowledgment, nobody said "hi", nobody said "how can i help you". Nothing, as if i were a ghost. The app you use to order, allows you to track my progress and it sends you a notification advising you that I have arrived. So im confused why i had to stand there like i dont exist. And then when one of the girls finally decides to look up, they confused my food delivery bag for someone dropping off i presume medical samples and began to ask me questions that is not about your lunch order. The only thought I had was, " these people work in a doctors office" Any service, anyone coming in and or out of your business, whether for a purchase at your pharmacy, for an appointment with the doctor, a service like food delivery or janitorial, or any repair like plumbing, or electrical, it should not matter what class of person walks in, everyone deserves to be greeted. I can appreciate the services you provide and the good you do for the patients, and understandably the state of this province is deep in peril, and everyone is busy, but so is everyone else, were all stressed, we all have anxiety, we are all hard working people, so please dont ignore people. its not nice!

Great walk-in clinic. Went in for a tetanus shot and was out in 20 minutes. Friendly and courteous receptionist. Dr. Cristopher Lem handled my case – very friendly and easy to talk to, addressed my concerns, explained how the medication works and what to expect. Happy with the experience.

The staff here along with all the doctors are amazing. They have made our transfer from our previous clinic seamless and welcoming. In my experience, a lot of the receptionists at clinics I've been to were rude and dismissive but that's not the case here. They really go above and beyond and our family doctor, Dr. Ngo, has been nothing short of amazing. Both my girlfriend and I have the highest praise for this entire clinic (and pharmacy) and we continually refer our family and friends to this location.

Since moving to Ontario, I have tried multiple clinics to find a family Dr until I stumbled upon Atlas Medical Clinic and met to Dr.Bahar. She has now been my family Dr for about 2 years now. I have tried multiple Dr in the past, and all have kinda always just brushed off my concerns when I come in. They always just seem to be in a rush to get you out. Dr.Bahar has always been so kind, and outgoing. She always rules out all possibilities and sends you for tests and such when you come in with concerns. With Dr.Bahar, I feel like she cares and is passionate about her job. I highly recommend her to everyone. She now also looks after my husband and my newborn. The plus with going to Atlas is that they also have a pharmacy there as well so you can grab your medication all in one stop. The plaza also have a lot of parking.

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about the Atlas Medical clinic. The front staff is always cordial and the physicians and pharmacists are extremely professional and personable. Not to mention that the facility is bright, spacious and clean! I have never waited for more than a couple of minutes for scheduled appointments and even when I don't have an appointment, the staff is very gracious about accommodating me. I don't live in the area, but don't mind the 30 minute drive to the Atlas Medical Clinic as I know I will have a smooth experience and a free coffee for my ride back home. :)

Visited this clinic today as my usual walk in doctor does not work on Fridays and also from the great reviews here. Truly staff and doctor are all very friendly and detailed but the pharmacy is super slow considering it's not busy. Sure a free coffee from McD next door while you wait is nice, but I'd rather be out in 5 minutes instead of 25 minutes... My usual pharmacy is a one staff operation with my longest wait of 5 minutes and here is a two staff operation.

HANDS DOWN the BEST clinic for everything!!! And I mean everything! The receptionist usually always answers, the pharmacy is amazing and quick. They used to provide a free McDonald’s tea but perhaps they don’t do it any longer. Doesn’t matter as they are quick. They actually have a walk-in app so you can see the time your in line. Pre-Covid this was a God send, as you know other clinics will NOT on at circumstances tell you when your time is coming (understandably but still they still came up with a way to keep the clinic less crowded and could give people the opportunity and o wait at home. I had a family Doctor since the day I was born and started having head conditions due to a car accident...I was becoming very ill and realized it was a brain injury, among other things. She would never refer me to a specialist, nor would she give me any diagnosis but throwing some anti-depressants at me. Despite the fact that I was young and I never seen her unless it was an emergency prior to that. She didn’t seem to think anything was wrong. 2-3 hour wait times for her and also a 3 week wait, with multiple extended vacations. I was so scared to change Doctors but I’m SO glad I did. Dr. Botrous is my new GP for 2 years now and he has referred me to any specialist I need, has helped me with a lot of issues and is litteraly so patient and calm mannered. I don’t know how God led me to him but honestly, I feel I struck gold with Doctor’s. I swear I call him sometimes weekly for my ongoing issues and he never, ever gets impatient. Even I grow impatient with myself and wonder how he handles me. He even helps my Little boy out, who isn’t even his patient. My Sons paediatric Doctor won’t even prescribe him his emergency puffer. Power struggle type doctor. I’m hoping to switch my sons doc to this clinic when he’s older. Also, the other doctors there are blessings as well. There’s an Persian doctor there and she’s almost as equally good. I feel disrespectful that I don’t know her name but she is so very professional and knowledgeable. She takes the time to litteraly listen to every word you gotta say. I am very picky when it comes to doctors. I have several reviews about doctors on my Google, so if I’m saying these guys are amazing, I mean it.

Very good walk-in clinic! Dr. Wang was patient, understanding and kind. He went beyond my expectations by trying to refer me to a specialist with the best availability. First attempt was a six month+ wait and after a month or so he found another one with next week availability.

Excellent Service. The receptionist is really considerate and she didn't make me wait even though my appointment was an hour later. The doctor is polite and supportive and she explained everything before recommending a treatment. Unlike other clinics I have been to in past,She didn't show any rush to be done with my appointment. This is the best clinic by far. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and dr. Susan was amazing. I was offered a coffee while I waited for my prescription and she was so nice and gave me a bottle of water as well so I can take my meds as soon as possible. I found this clinic after feeling frustrated with dealing with my GP whose clinic name I won't mention. I'm so glad I found them. I mainly see Dr.Boutrous but if I can't wait, I see Dr.Wang or Dr.Bahar. They are all excellent.

They open at 10am so arrived around 9:50am but there were about 3 people ahead of me and the office was open. Waited about 40 mins but the receptionist told me that another doctor was going to start at 11am but will see me first (at 10:30am) since I was waiting so long. Doctor was knowledgeable. Asked good questions. Pharmacist was very efficient and helpful. FIlled my prescription in 2 mins! Even gave me a coupon for a free McDonalds coffee while I waited for my prescription. Overall, good experience at this walk-in clinic.

Dr. Ngo and her staff are absolutely wonderful. The receptionists are nice. The clinic is busy after work hours and it may take a while to see a physician as a walkin. When the clinic is busy, there could be a bit of a wait but it is worth it. Mr previous family doctor made me wait at least an hour every-time I saw her. Depending on how busy the clinic is, I am usually seen as promptly as possible ~ up to 15-20 minutes. Dr. Ngo has been attentive, caring, and she is knowledgeable. She takes her time to listen to her patients and has amazing bedside manners. I would highly recommend her. I am so grateful to have found her.

This isn’t a walk-in clinic - it’s a family doctors office that also takes walk-ins. That’s a major difference and it shows. At the time of writing this is a new office/facility with a small pharmacy counter built-in. The facilities are clean and well maintained and I hope as the building ages they keep it up. But the most important part is the doctors and the physicians who staff this clinic are fantastic. Open and direct communication; taking the time to listen and diagnose and (in my case) a proven effort to set up specialist referrals and follow up with patient care. If you can’t get to your own doctor, come here. If you live in the neighbourhood and don’t have a primary care physician, check them out. Wait times are good; even when it gets busy the staff move through patients efficiently. Negatives: the clinic doesn’t have the longest hours and the actual waiting room is small so during flu season etc. I can see there being issues with people piling up. Still, not enough to take a star. Also, get your prescriptions filled here rather than at shoppers - besides the helpful (and cute!) pharmacy team themselves, they have a deal worked out with the McDonald’s next door for a free coffee while you wait for your medicine! What’s not to like. Tl;dr: I drive 15 minutes out of my way to go to this clinic when I need to see someone ASAP.

I believe the clinic can do better on following up and taking care of the patient after each visit. Every visit is pleasant and smooth, but just not the after part of the trip.

However, i always return because i find the doctors knowledgeable, professional and very approachable. I just visited this clinic for the first time and it is by far the best experience I have had with a walk in clinic in Canada. The staff were fantastic, the doctors were willing to spend some extra time discussing any medical issues and the process of using the on-site pharmacy made my visit entirely seamless. The second time I came to the clinic, as the first time I saw the doctor I had to wait over an hour, the first question I was asked was if I had made an appointment. The website says it was a walk-in clinic and no appointment was required, so why am I asked if I made an appointment? Secondly, I only had a short period of time to wait during my lunch hour. I was only notified that the doctor was not in yet and he'll be here in soon, as he is usually not late. This information was told to me AFTER I was ushered into a room. I waited for 10 mins and asked the receptionist again, how long of a wait would it be, she then tells me he was running late and would be another 15 more mins until he arrives. That would mean I would be waiting for half an hour in total where they claim on their website they have a short wait period. This was completely unprofessional to open a clinic up at noon and be late. What kind of traffic does one anticipate at noon?! Definitely not rush hour traffic! Not to mention the two times I have attended this clinic and had to wait over the 10-15 mins that everyone else claims. At that point, I don't have a lot of time to waste waiting for a doctor who can't show up on time, I chose to go to another walk in clinic that was around the corner and was promptly seen by the doctor there.

Best experience at a walk-in clinic ever. Fast, professional service. The doctor even looked at more than one issue, when other clinics have restricted a visit to one complaint. When I asked the doctor for the usual scribbled paper prescription, he had already emailed it to the pharmacy attached to the front of the clinic. When I walked out, they asked if I wanted it filled, and I did. They gave me a complimentary coffee from a McDonald's next door while I waited. Grabbed the coffee and the prescription was waiting when I got back minutes later. Wow. I'm coming back. I'm used to waiting for hours and dealing with grumbling, disinterested staff. They have the perfect mix of courteous staff, technology and speed. Well done!

The clinic phone number always forward to Voice mail..... today is July 9 2020, it's heat warning. I just could walk in because i couldn't make appointment through the phone.... the receptionist asked me wait in my car. I felt sick and waited in my car half hour.. the outdoor temperature was 41C.

I came here yesterday, they told me that it was fully booked, and they only accepted same day appointment. They asked me to called them at 10:00am this morning. So this morning, I called them at 10:00am and I tried three hours, but no one picked the call. So I drive 30minutes to the clinic and they tell me that they are fully booked for the whole Christmas!!! How could this happen???? Why you guys only accepted same day appointment but is fully booked for the future days? Also staff in the front desk is lazy, they refused to pick phones but they are not busy. Never never come to this clinic.

WHAT A CLINIC!!!! Friendly stuff and super quick pharmacy, free coffee (i don't drink but sure I can appreciate one on the house). I called 2 days before for the appointment, arrived and was seen by the doctor all within 5 minutes. Very reasonable. Thanks Atlas Clinic team, appreciate efficiency!

I’m giving this place the benefit of the doubt because the staff are all friendly and the facility is nice and clean. Maybe Dr. Botrous was just having an off day, but he used only physical examination to diagnose strep throat and prescribed me antibiotics. After I left, I did some googling and the diagnosis didn’t sit quite right; the images didn’t match what I was seeing. I decided to get a second opinion and went to another walk in to ask for a strep rapid test. The test turned out negative for strep, so I almost took antibiotics for no reason! Do your research! Don’t let people do things to your body without being informed! Update: turns out I have mono, thank god I didn’t take the amoxicillin I was prescribed, otherwise I would’ve ended up with skin rashes.

The main reason I keep coming back to this clinic is because of the excellent service I receive at the pharmacy. Sonam, in particular, is astoundingly consistent in being efficient and friendly. Whenever I had questions, Sonam would provide me with an answer that left me feeling at ease. Free McDonald's coffee is an extra bonus!

Our family of 3 and my daughter's family switched doctor over an year ago. Dr Bahar is excellent and she really cares about her patient's well being. On Sunday October 17th 2021 by 11 Am, receptionist called us and she was very rude for no reason. If she calls a heart patient with this attitude, he or she will have a heart attack. Management please check the other comments about some of the front desk and do the needful, we have been there couple of times and most of the front desk staff are excellent. Perhaps if you are a caucasian things may have been different on sunday. Thank you. Ravi

I had a great experience with this clinic -- I saw Dr. Bahar Khojasteh and she was understanding, thorough in trying to diagnose my symptoms, and explained everything properly to me. Need to call a few times for them to pick up but the receptionist is friendly and efficient. I went to another clinic before for the same issues and the doctor there was impatient and didn't explain anything.

This clinic/pharmacy went way above and beyond my expectations!! The aesthetic is so warm and inviting, which helps when you're sick and waiting for a doctor, instead of most cold and dreary clinics. The wait times are next to nothing, as the clinic is well staffed, with an excellent reception staff to guide you on your way. All of the doctor's I have dealt with are top-notch and have an ability to diagnose quickly and with a certain level of empathy! Finally, the pharmacy itself - just beyond belief!! The head pharmacist is the most humble medical professional I have ever interacted with - she is super efficient and very friendly - never allowing any situation to get her flustered - I recommend this clinic and pharmacy to everyone in the Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham and Stouffville areas!

Probably the cleanest walk-in/doctor's office I've been to (and I've been to a lot). Even the bathroom didn't feel gross. Unlike other medical offices I've been to, the receptionists had a good attitude and actually made sure I knew where to take my requisition, follow-up, etc. The wait is never long. And of course it's great they have the pharmacy right in there. Only critique is that the doctors could be a little more thorough when explaining things, they just kind of gave me a diagnosis and didn't go into much depth about what it was and all the treatment options, since I had never even heard of what I was diagnosed with. But they did diagnose me more accurately than other clinics, which deserves some points cause everywhere else I went didn't even send me for any testing. First walk-in I've been to that actually correctly diagnosed something on the first try. I've since returned whenever I needed.

Dr. Botrous and Dr. Wang are both excellent doctors. The receptionists are friendly and the Pharmacist is superb and conveniently located inside the facility. The comped coffee while you're waiting for a prescription is a nice touch. NOTE: the front desk was short staffed so it has been difficult to get through. I had left voice mail and it took 24 hours for someone to call back so patience is required given the current environment.

I am having bad experience on Wednesdays going to this clinic. Receptionist, who is there on Wednesdays denies to accept me when ever I get there with random reasons. Another time I called before I go there & receptionist said they will only accept till 7pm so we get there by there by 6:55pm & she couldn’t tell any reason not take me in. On the same day while I wait, noticed receptionist taking patients till 7:35pm while other patients are waiting. When ever we go before 7:30pm she always tell oh we are full blah blah some random reason not to take us in. Next week we called & ask ( Wednesday), receptionist said we accept till 7:30pm. We arrived 7:20pm receptionist said sorry we can’t accept as we are full. I then indicated that we called & you indicated will take patients till 7:30pm. We went there from far, why there is no consistency? Why can’t you keep a specific time on when last patient accepted? We even called the doctor office prior to going there to ensure we will be accepted when we get there. Always the same receptionist doing this on Wednesdays. We go there other days & we don’t experience same way as Wednesdays. This is terrible experience feel like discrimination & favouritism on who to accept. How can you operate a doctor place without consistency on when the last patient accepted?

Excellent clinic, doctors, staff, and pharmacist. Highly recommended! I first started going to Atlas medical clinic a couple months ago after moving to Richmond Hill for a couple unscheduled/walk-in medical issues I was having. Every time, I was seen quickly by the doctors there and attended to by great staff with very consistent, high-quality service. The front-desk receptionist staff never hesitated to fit me in with an appointment time that best fit my needs, and the pharmacist also phoned me to keep me in the loop on a delayed medication order and even to arrange the best way for me to get it in a hurry. I liked the service so much that I decided to switch my family doctor there full-time to Dr. Susan Ngo. Since then, she and Dr. Christopher Lem (who saw me when she was away) were very helpful and patient with all of my concerns, always taking the time to listen to all of my details and never rushing me, even with last-minute scheduled appointments. I feel very comfortable dealing with them and highly recommend the clinic to anyone for both walk-ins and those looking for family doctors.

My experience at Atlas exceeded all my expectations. When I came in, the secretary, Winnie was polite and professional. I did not wait very long until I was called in to see Dr. Jiang, who was also extremely professional and helpful. He did not rush me and answered all my questions. I did not need a prescription but I'm glad the service was there in case I needed one. The pharmacist was very friendly and made a recommendation for an over the counter product for me. I'm glad this clinic has finally opened as it is very convenient and close to me! I will recommend this clinic to all my friends and family. Thank you, Atlas!

Going to Atlas was a lifesaver! I went for shots before a travel trip and the pharmacist had the medication prepped and ready once I got there. The doctor was very friendly and helpful as well and answered my concerns. I was very concerned that I was cutting it close before my travels and they wouldn’t be able to take me in. But it was such an easy process calling them beforehand and setting up a time to come in. Would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for the total patient experience!

First time in this clinic, although drove a bit further from home the high ratings and reviews of this clinic indeed are correct and it definitely deserves the high ranking. The receptionist was amazing, very kind and courteous, very efficient and fast in setting my profile and within 10 min I was waiting for the doctor in the room. He came shortly after 5 min and I was done within few min. He was knowlegable kind and patiently answered my questions. Overall experience was very positive and I truly hope they will continue to maintain this high standard of care. They well deserve the 5 stars!!!

I had a great experience at Atlas Pharmacy. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked us in immediately. Within a few minutes we were able to see the doctor. He gave us prescriptions for a few medicines. When we handed these to the pharmacist on duty, she filled the prescription and it was ready in less than 5 minutes. This is the best total care experience I have ever received at any clinic or pharmacy. The speed and quality of service was warm, attentive and fast. I would strongly recommend this pharmacy and clinic.

I have seen different doctors here over several visits now and while the wait time is relatively reasonable, the trade-off is that the doctors only plan on seeing you for 5 minutes at maximum, so if you have several conditions that require attention, they will likely ask you to come back another time for issues that don't seem as urgent.

The Atlas Medical Clinic is amazing! The staff is super helpful and friendly! The small clinic looks brand new and the interior design is relaxing. I love that I got to see a woman Doctor (Dr Susan) almost immediately! She was able to prescribe me my bcp on the spot; it was quick and easy! I just had to fill in a short form, talk to the woman Doctor and next thing I know... I was paying! The fact the pharmacy is attached to the clinic is awesome; you can get your prescription right after! In my case, I asked for multiple packs of bcp (of a certain brand) so they could only give it to me the next day (still pretty great!) But after they even proposed delivering it to me! I am amazed and super happy to find a clinic that makes women's life so easy!!! Thank you so much Atlas Medical Clinic! I totally recommend this clinic to any young women out there who need bcp, a friendly clinic and great women staff and Doctor to help them!
