They take care of you and all your medical needs.

Receptionist is terrible. “They aren’t a walk in clinic” is all the response you’ll get. They don’t care about patients and receptionist clearly hates her job.

Yuan T

Worst receptionist ever, extremely rude and impatient! Can't even give a star if there is "no star option".

Just terrible service. I need to get the aviation medical exam scheduled, so called the number, then I was on hold for 25mins, got finally connected, but they told me to hold for a moment, waited another 15 mins, no response. They are the only aviation medical exam clinic in Oakville, now I choose to go to missisauga instead.

The clinic is great, but the phone lines are always busy. How can a clinic that’s this large not have a provision to put clients on hold?

Trish Derlick

Very quick in and out. We never have to wait long and results get sent to concerning doctors very quickly. Thank you very much.

Phone wait time is way to long just to try to get an appointment I have been waiting for 17 minutes so far.

Shocked! Helped a senior who had fallen face first in the medical centre parking lot. Took him into this doctor's office and asked for some help as he was bleeding quite a bit from his nose. They refused to assist because he wasn't a patient, citing potential for liability. I was in disbelief. I guess if you aren't getting paid you are no longer a doctor. Sad that such is the only motivation to help someone in need. And, as the other posts have suggested, the people working there are RUDE. They figure everyone needs them. They have yet to figure out that it is actually the other way around. Without clients they would all be out of a job.

Staff is rude and service is terrible

I've never had a bad experience with Trafalgar medical clinic, sometimes they are busy but I feel like that's normal for any medical office. The ladies I speak to at reception are always really nice and accommodating.

Amazing service!

I've been a patient of this clinic for 39 out of my 45 years. I've never been treated rudely by the receptionists. There are 3 ladies running it and it's almost always busy. Either they're on the phone or checking a patient in for their appointments. It's a "pain" to be put on hold ya but it cannot be helped if it just happens to be super busy.

This clinic is incredibly frustrating. Before I could get through to an actual person on the phone lines, I was kept on hold for 12 minutes. I called three times prior to that so by the third time I thought I'd humour myself and see how long it actually took before I was able to speak to anyone. 12 minutes I was kept on hold. You'd think for a doctors office that there would at least be someone to talk to when in need. When I finally got through to the receptionist I was told right off the bat that there were no doctors available to speak to me unless I had a family doctor. I explained to the women on the phone that I had been seeing my family doctor at this clinic for several years and I simply wanted to switch to a female doctor as it would make me feel more comfortable. I was told that I wasn't able to speak to any doctors except my family doctor and that he wouldn't be available until after next week. I proceeded to tell the women that I was dealing with severe depression symptoms and needed to speak to anyone who could help. Once again I was told that no one was able to help me. By the time I was done speaking with her I was in tears asking for assistance and could not believe that I was still told that I couldn't receive help. Personally I prefer a doctors office that I can rely on and take comfort in the fact I can receive help in case of emergency. This is not this first time that I've had similar problems with this clinic. THEY DO NOT HELP IN TIME OF EMERGENCY. Today could have ended very badly had they been dealing with someone who was worse off then I was. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!

My family physician was Dr.Hooper she has recently left trafalgar but she was a real gem. I have never met a more kind, understanding and empathetic doctor. I have never had a bad experience with front reception, the clinical staff is so kind and the nursing staff is very friendly. I appreciate having an urgent care clinic to avoid unnecessary ER visits and seeing a family physician who has access to my chart. Every urgent care physician has been kind and helpful. Overall I'm so grateful to have had Dr.Hooper as my family physician.

I have been going to Trafalgar Medical Clinic since I was a child. Great care. Dr. Hooper took over my former Doctor's practice and she has been nothing short of wonderful! Having a toddler, I have really appreciated that emergency appointments are available if needed. If ever she is not free, another Doctor in the practice will see us. We have had positive experiences with the other doctors as well.

Dr Inkster has been my family dr since I was BORN. Literally. First person to hold me 28 years ago. My whole family and kids go to him. He gets to know what you’re asking about, understands your needs and makes conscious, whole minded decisions and informed decisions for his patients. Even when I have thought the worst and didn’t believe him he ended up being right. I trust him on so many levels and I will hate the day he retires. (But honestly I’ll probably retire before him lol) Very dedicated Doctor. My star rating is for HIM and the NURSES, ADMINS AND BUSINESS OFFICE STAFF. There also have been other great Doctors after hours or covering Doctors I’ve had great experiences with. However, I put one less star because it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t mention this. Dr Morris is a nice guy. Have had good experiences with him before, but last week, he opened his examination room and expressed VERY loudly, things we were discussing while people were walking past, I asked him to close the door but he ignored it and continued, these things that made me seem horrible. When I left people were starring at me. I feel nervous to return, confidentiality violated, and he told ME to never come back to him after MISUNDERSTANDING something I inquired. I will never go back to HIM! And I recommend not going to him unless it’s less than chronic illness or pain. My Star rating for HIM is 2, because he was easy to talk to on a personal level. My entire family (who trusted him for many years) will never go to him again for the sole reason he violated my confidentiality so publicly and negatively. I’m not a vindictive person and I usually give benefit of the doubt to everyone. However, this is not something I take lightly as I am in healthcare myself. I expect more from a seasoned professional with a PhD.

Incompetence seems to rule this clinic. Poor communication between doctors and reception and between patients and reception. This leads to stress for the poor patient who is stuck in the middle. They seem to feel that patients are booking a restaurant reservation rather than calling fir help. The patient us then made to feel that this lack of communication is his/her fault. Useless people. Will not return.

Very rude receptionists. I do t appreciate the attitude they give my wife when asking for blood work forms. I dont see the big issue.. they give the forms which is great but the attitude and rudeness. Were looking for a new family doctor because of this! what a shame. If you're having a bad day dont take it out on the patients!

This clinic continues to be a very frustrating place to receive health care services. I bring my in-laws here and were constantly faced with challenges. Starting with the phones automated system, long wait times and horrible attitudes of those who answer the phones. When you are greeted you receive the same treatment. There are signs saying that in case of an emergency all Drs. have openings to accomidate patients...this isn't true as drs. are never available and you are told to go to the hospital even for the most none emergency issues. Trust me, the only reason I'm bringing them here is because there is a problem...it's not my choice of social atmosphere! One new dr. has been on sick leave for over a year and even though she is new to the clinic you are unable to change Drs. This is not her fault...sick is sick but when you have been seeing one dr for decades and now are faced with having to change to a new dr. as your old one has retired...in a situation where you don't have a permanent dr. The politics are ridiculous. I guess the only option for those who can't wait to have this dr. return is to find another clinic...this makes no sense! The challenge is that when you have seniors that have been coming to the same clinic for years and have deteriorated health issues you can't just pickup and leave. Very frustrating!!!
