Dr.Taylor did my top surgery in January this year and I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience. Everyone at the office was consistently incredibly caring and attentive and I genuinely felt taken care of the whole time. Post surgery if I had any questions I was able to contact Tina or Mary easily, and the results of the surgery (I am 6 months post op) so far are amazing. Dr. Taylor and his team (in the office a well as in the hospital) were absolutely fantastic. I was walked through my procedures (breast lift and labiaplasty) so I had a full understanding of what both entailed as well as what to prepare for with my aftercare. I have Dr. Chris Taylor as my plastic surgeon for the reconstruction of my left breast. (removed from breast cancer) I am extremely happy with my reconstruction this far. After consulting with him, I chose to use the large muscle and skin from my back + a saline implant, to reconstruct the left breast and have a lift on the right for symmetry. This is to be done in several stages. So far I'm about 1/2 done, and am very happy with the results thus far. I have found Dr Taylor very informative, which helped me make the decision on which reconstruction route to take. His office is clean, and I will admit, usually very busy. But even with his volume of patients, I never found I was waiting very long to be seen. I go for the final operation to finish my reconstruction in a month (which is a couple of months longer than initially stated, but with a busy office and Doctor things are constantly changing, so this I understand, and did not find it to be a problem) I did check out the reviews written about Dr. Taylor before writing mine, just to see the experiences of others. And I was surprised to see that someone had written he had no bedside manner! I did not find this to be true @ all. I think Dr. Tayler is a quiet person to begin with, but I found him to be very caring, and he even personally called me when I came home from the hospital to make sure everything was going O.K. for me. I would recommend him to anybody needing plastic surgery, and I am looking forward to the finishing stages of mine. And I will write a follow up @ the end of my reconstruction.

Had a breast reduction done by Chris Taylor. Surgery was good, his idea of a medium c cup is very large. I wear a H cup. The real issue is the follow up, none. I have a little pucker. Finally after never recieving my call back, I went back they basically laughed at me. Said never had anybody back so long after surgery but they would call me with a date. Never happened so I wrote a letter to his website. Says they respond in 24 hours its been a couple years no response. Seams like because I am over 50 they think i dont care how I look. Thanks for no follow up even after 2 requests.

Dr. Chris Taylor is very friendly and professional. The nurses and staff at his clinic go above and beyond as well. On the operation day for my breast reduction surgery which took place at Saanich Peninsula Hospital, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Every single person that I met was amazing, and made me feel very comfortable. Especially when I was feeling quite nervous. It's been about 3 weeks post op, and I am feeling great, and the scars are already healing very well. The most important thing is massaging the scars after the incisions heal! Thank you for changing my life Dr. Taylor!

What an amazing doctor!! He’s kind and compassionate. There was absolutely no pressure, he simply gave me insight and took all the time to answer my questions. I initially had a consult with a different doctor and despite being very nice, my consultation with Dr.Taylor was so much more informative and I felt so much more comfortable. DON'T GO. I am so sorry I was sent to him. His secretary is rude, does not answer calls, nor return calls. Dr Taylor has no bedside manner at all, gives you no information, does not follow up. He told me after hand surgery he would make an appointment for physio, and he never ever called me back, nor made the appointment. Now it is too late to do physio. I have never seen another doctor like him, anywhere in Victoria, and I have accompanied other people to many doctors throughout this city, and have always been impressed with the medical professionals we have here, but NOT Dr Taylor. I am now seeing another hand surgeon. If you have an appointment, or thinking about seeing him, all you have to do is check out all the reviews about him, which is what I should have done.
