Dr is great, Trying to actually get in touch with them, horrible. Update... I can't reach them as the phones are always off... Need my meds refilled and am going to have to rely on a pharmacist for this instead of my Doctor.

Inaccessible, unprofessional and rude admin staff. When a prescription is requested and it is not faxed to the pharmacy on FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS, that is absolutely reprehensible. I understand being busy but this clinic is absolutely negligent.

Dr Wallace and Dr Moffat are amazing. I would give five stars, but the reality is, administration is also a big part of primary care. The reception team can be very rude and unhelpful. Like another comment, I dread calling. Most times, the phones don’t work. Admin leans heavily on covid restrictions to cover some very apathetic behaviour. I know lots of medical professionals dealing with the same challenges yet they manage to deal with patients with respect and compassion. I have repeatedly received incorrect info and even been refused services that I have later found out should be available. I really think the front office is letting this amazing team down. I find they have a very old fashioned attitude where patients are expected to grovel and accept whatever they are told by non-medical staff. Shame shame that this is left unaddressed. 1:20pm in the afternoon on a Tuesday. The message I receive when I call? “The customer has their phone turned off”.

Been going to this clinic for a few years now and find my doctor excellent along with some of the other doctors i have seen as duty docs along with the nurse practitioners. The problem is there is one very rude member of the reception staff. I have had a bad experience with this person a couple of times and I never have a problem with the rest. Let's hope this lady gets some education in dealing with patients and their needs. It is very discouraging!

I love my doctor but more often than not I find myself avoiding making appointments to talk about my health because I hate dealing with reception. I'm tired of getting talked down to every occasion.

I have to agree with the majority. I've seen a few doctors because my own is on maternity leave, and they have all been thorough and compassionate. The washrooms are gender non-specific and they make an effort towards inclusivity with posters etc. (I can't comment further, as I'm straight & cis.) But the office staff is really hit and miss. Frustratingly, they don't answer phones at all between 11am-1pm, or 3pm-4pm. I've dealt with people who are patient and kind, but also with those who are dismissive and seem to deliberately make it hard to get information. I'll give 4 stars because the quality of care we receive from the doctors is good and I don't think the clinic deserves the low rating they currently average, but if I was rating the front desk alone I'd give them a 2.

Was a patient at this clinic and when they couldn't take my family anymore they charged admin fees (40 bucks per person) to change over my files... If I wanted to change doctors I could see the admin fee... However this firm dismantled a lot of patients because of a doctor leaving... This isn't the patients fault. This is a business and they should swallow the "admin" fees for kicking someone to the curb. In total I paid 200 dollars... Tell me what secretary fees cost 200 dollars to transfer a file? Too bad there is a shortage of doctors in Nova Scotia. Because if there wasn't this place wouldn't have any patients.

Receptionist has no idea how to talk to people, i had an appointment they missed it so i called to find out why. I was advised that they would beed to send the doctor a note to find out why. I asked how am i going to be notified as to what happened and when my next appointment will be and she was just very rude in saying she didnt know and that she was sending the dr a note. So now what i wait and hopefully hear back? Or call and call until i can get through again? Great doctors but they should pay attention to these reviews and find a new receptionist.

Takes only one to ruin a reputation of any institution. I usually get nice people for this particular time an impatient hostile person answered, she opened can of worms for herself when she mentioned a date in a wrong day and mentioned only one reason which ofcourse made me want to clarify my appointment as I have to drive far to get there. The person who booked me before told me 2 reasons means I have to book for two appointments/slot and here now I am talking to this 'Ms.-know-it-all' saying o, that's one appointment so the person before was wrong, that means I could have stick with my schedule before than waiting this long to get a back to back 2 appointments!! when I called before to book because only ONE purpose per slot is allowed per visit (e.g. you have fever and you want as well another issue dealt with it has to be two appointments)!!! And before you make people feel they are a bother to you, straighten your calendar date and day so confusion and clarification wouldn't be elicited!!!!! Be nice..people are not stupid they can detect your meanness over the phone! especially if the person is courteous! you shouldn't have a job in a front line or dealing with people.

I love my doctor, she’s amazing, but I literally have not been to the doctor in forever because I DREAD calling this place and having to speak to the receptionist. First of all, 99% of the times I call, the line is busy or it says the customer has their phone disconnected/turned off. When I do get through, the receptionist makes me feel extremely belittled and makes me feel as though I don’t know the details of my own reason for calling. I have always always had a hard time dealing with the receptionist & I feel as though it is getting worse rather than better. Once again, my doctor is phenomenal, but the receptionist seriously ruins my experience & makes me feel ashamed for calling my own doctors office. Super super poor communication skills & a massive lack of empathy.

The receptionists here are awful, I understand it's a stressful time but there is no need of it. I dread calling here to book an appointment or ask for anything related to my health as a patient. Terrible attitudes for grown adults.

Trying for two day to get a form for husband to have blood work done and all I get is message. Everytime the message comes on We pay long distance on phone this is crazy .Is there anyone there to answer phones ?

Myself and both of my daughters never had any issues. Yes sometimes you have to call a couple of time to get through but over all they have always been nice and friendly. Our family doctor is Dr.Jill Robertson and I would not change her for anything. We Absolutely love her! We are extremely blessed to have her. If we have to see one of the other Dotors or the registered nurse in the clinique. They are also super nice, welcoming and ready to do what is needed to help you just like our own doctor would. The service they give you never feels rushed they actually take the time to listen and guide you. Thank you Dr. Robertson ???? you aare the best! Keisha, Kianna and Cindy.

Called on Tuesday to confirm I was still a patient at this clinic. The lady who answered the phone said that I was and there would be no issue, but I had to book my appointment online. I booked an appointment which was about two weeks away. I got an email the next day saying that my appointment was cancelled because I wasn't a patient. I called again and pretty much got a "too bad, doctor thought you were gone too long". Guess it's for the better. I wouldn't want to be treated by a clinic that lies anyway.
