I arrived at 9:00 in the morning when the clinic is open. However Dr. Cindy Ng came late. Around 9:30. The problem is that it happens frequently. So most patients waited for almost 1.5 to 2 hours. Very unprofessional attitude! Even waiting with children for two hours, it was like nightmare! Please, be on time Dr. NG!!

THE WORST TREATMENT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN. The doctor was rude, rushed, hostile and arrogant. She basically told me straight up she can’t waste her time for walk-in patients. She made me feel very uncomfortable let alone being respected. Save your time. I am sure any doctors can display more respect to patients regardless they are walk-in or not.

I’ve been at this walking clinic for years and I’ve always had a pleasant experience. The doctor is always very professional and helpful. The waiting time is between 10 and 30 minutes max. The staff is very polite, and the place is always very clean.

Very clean clinic and friendly staff and Doctor. But, after waiting45min to 60 min, I was out of doctors office like after about 2 min. The speed she checked my ears throat and neck, was like crazy. I could feel bumps on my neck which she didn't even touch as she was doing it too fast. Listening to my chest, well that should take more than half second right? I feel like I need to see another doctor to make sure things are checked properly

I'm suffering from a gunshot wound to my head and a MVA and I decided to go here and talk about my conditions. I have tinnitus, when I told her I have tinnitus and I have a non stop ringing in my ears because of the gunshot wound she told me it's probably because of the wax in my ear................. how did you get your medical license..... I have chronic headaches and she told me it's because my muscles are tensing up and I should go download an app on my phone to help me................. as if i havent been trying things myself to help with the pain... pathetic . I recommend you go somewhere else because these people have no clue what they're doing. If your a young guy I would avoid this place because they look at you like your only there for drugs and your lying about everything, very unprofessional

Very long wait time. Arrived at 9 am when it opened and had 2 people ahead of me. I was let into the room after almost an hour, then waited longer to be seen. Extremely long wait time considering I went there when it opened. Asking questions leads to having to go to my family doctor. Save your time and go somewhere else, there are other walk in clinics around this area.

Came to this clinic second time as walk in during weekend. Front desk staff is very kind and polite. Dr.Ng is very knowledgeable and patient, she listened and examed very carefully, I was then being referred to the emergency and she said she will follow up with me. I wasn’t expect she call since she’s not my family doctor, but she does and make sure everything is fine with me. How sweet is that when it comes from a walk in doctor.

I said I was going through chronic exhaustion and she claimed I must either be sad im single, stressed about money ETC. I had to insist for a blood test. The doctor is not being knowledgeable, I said I am in fever, I got flu, I know I need antibiotics. But the doctor said "No, you are fine, you just need drink more water and rest. " Then I got back home got fever for 6 days! My head and face, teeth started paining because of infection! I didn't get any antibiotics and pills until I went to big hospital. (Its usually took me 3 days to get rid off my flu and fever, but the doctor in this clinic made it 10 days, good job....)

Although it's a small size clinic, it's very clean, and Dr. Ng and all the staff there are very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, & compassionate. Monday walk-in and waited 1.5 hour. Reception was very nice but the doctor herself is very condescending and rude. If you ask for more options and advice, the answer is 'get a family doctor, a walk-in is for quick fixes.'

Today I took my little daughter to this clinic. The website says they open at 9am, the doctor arrived at 9:20am. I waited 2:10 hours until we were seen by her (the doctor) as a walk in. I explained all the symptoms of my very sick little daughter, asked her multiple times to examine her thoroughly as I was pretty sure my daughter had serious infection. Unfortunately, she refused to give my little one antibiotic, and sent us home without any prescription. Since we got home, my daughter became more sick. Few hours later I took her to another child clinic to be seen by a pediatrician, where he told me the child had serious infection in ears, immediately prescribed antibiotic for her and asked me to keep an eye on my daughter condition as she is very sick. I would never ever go to this clinic again.

Very rude doctor who is very mis-trusting and doesn't believe what you tell her. Had to wait 1 hour while she got 25 pages of my history from 3 different pharmacies I've been to over the last 12 years before giving me a two-week perscription for a medication I've been on for 11 years. When I questioned her as to why she needed 12 years of history for such a basic medication that every other doctor has given me 3-6 months supply of within 10mins of a visit, she angrily told me that she had been lied to once before so now she checks out whatever anyone tells her, no matter how long it takes, even with minor requests. I felt violated and mistrusted for needing a temporary refill on my (basic and non-controlled, non-narcotic) medication that she knew I had been on daily for 11 years. Horrible and lengthy interrogation left me feeling extremly violated. Never going there again. If you go, be ready for a long wait and long and thorough questioning session which at times feels like an interrogation since she is mistrusting and wants proof of everything you tell her.

However, she does only takes on 1 problems at a time and talks about only discussing 'emergency' issues. She does talk fast like the other reviews have said. DO NOT GO THERE! Most awful experience I have ever had, the only clinic only accepts cash but nothing else, and the doctor couldn't seem to care less about the patients as far as she gets paid. The whole time I felt she just wanted to get it done and get me out of there so she can see the next person. She is only willing to deal with one problem per visit, I asked her some related questions she requested to get paid another $70!

My only complaint is that they only allow you to ask one question because “OHIP only covers one question per visit”. Everyone was really nice and although the doctor was sick and without a voice, she did take preventative measures (wore a mask and left the room when coughing) and used an iPad to type and communicate.

Doctor Ng is wonderful. Since I did not want my daughter to worry about a potential health concern that I had about her, I wrote a short note to the doctor explaining the problem. She read it and then skillfully asked my daughter questions without alerting her. My daughter was very comfortable with doctor Ng and I was relieved that the doctor was able to address all my concerns without creating unnecessary worries for my daughter. Doctor Ng took the time to check my daughter and was very patient with all the questions that I had. She also provided me with very clear explanations and recommendations. I came to get my allergy shot here and the receptionist was so polite and helpful. The doctor was very thorough, especially as it was my first visit, making sure to inform herself of my medical history and taking my blood pressure, temperature, and listening to my heart/lungs before administering the shot. Although I had to wait over an hour to be seen, she seems to be thorough, which I can’t necessarily complain about. The only off putting thing was that she kept questioning me as to why I came to her, such as insisting I didn’t live close enough to the clinic. It didn’t seem very “walk ins welcome”.

I waited for 45mins to see the doctor. Explained to her that I have been using a medicine (gel type) for acne treatment on my chest for several years. She gave me a prescription for different medicine (loton type) which she gave me 5years ago that did not work on me. So I left the clinic, called the pharmacy, and went back to the clinic with the name of the medicine (went back to the clinic within 45 mins). Asked the doctor to change the prescription so I can get the right medicine. She told me to come back another day or wait for all the patients (8 patients) that are ahead of me to get re-perscribed paper. The reason I did not go back tothe clinic for five years is because she never perscribed medicines that worked on me. My time is valuable, so as the doctor and the other patients. Now I have to go to different clinic to get the medicine I need - Wasting almost half of my day. I can understand that some doctors are not as knowledgable as the others. But being rude and not caring is not accepable.

At first I was hesitant after reading these reviews. However, I am so glad I went!!! The doctor we saw (Dr. Ng) was amazing! I went with my 3 year old son and she was so good with him. She was able to perform a check up by making it into a game for him. She took a throat swab and he didn't even cry! She was so thorough and quick and also compassionate. She didn't make me feel silly for asking questions and was very patient. The Doctor was extremely efficient and knowledgable and covered every detail. The staff at front desk were kind and considerate and provided outstanding service, despite the high wait time. I don't know why the other reviews mentioned that they were rude but in my experience, the receptionists went above and beyond their job for us. Best medical clinic ever.

Worst experience at a walk-in clinic. The doctor was arrogant and talked down to me. She also spoke very fast and seemed eager to get me out the door as she couldn't care less. She was only willing to deal with one problem per visit, and when I asked her for a referral to a urologist, she said I needed to get that from my family doctor (which would be an inconvenience for me since my family doctor is located about 45 min away from where I live). She was wrong! I went to another walk-in clinic right after and had no issues getting a referral.

Although having moved to the area only 3 months ago, I have visited the walk-in clinic a few times. Each time, the office staff has been friendly and welcoming. Dr. Cindy Ng is the doctor I have dealt with there, and she has always been wonderful. Today I went for a flu shot, and she is the only person who mentioned that giving the injection higher up on the arm would be less painful - and she was right. There was no wait time today, but sometimes it can be quite busy - the only drawback. Dr. Ng explains things in detail, is very compassionate and understanding, and I never feel rushed. Being a senior, this is very important and I highly recommend her to all the seniors in my building, even though we have our own doctor on staff once a week. V.W.

Convenient location but you will only get to see the doctor for a minute or two. If you have another question or issue they want to come back another day so they can scan your OHIP card again.

I had a great experience at Northtown Medical Clinic. There was hardly any wait, and Dr. Ng was patient and kind while listening to my concerns. She is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, and she got me the treatment I needed to get better. She was also really good at explaining my problem to me so that I could easily understand what was going on.This medical clinic is very comfortable and I will be recommending Dr. Ng to my friends as well. I would DEFINITELY choose this clinic again for any future medical problems too!! She's the best doctor I've ever had.

Lol seems like my review was removed. No problem I'll make sure to keep posting it for the rest of my life. I came here last year because I was suffering from chronic headaches and chronic tinnitus, I spoke with the Asian lady doctor and she started to examine me, while I was talking to her I could see she did believe me and she most likely thought I wanted some prescription drugs, I told her my injuries and told her I went to the hospital and showed her my stitches but all she could tell me was "I think you have wax in your eyes that's why it's causing tinnitus......" , I basically took a bullet to the head and this "doctor" is telling me it's because of the wax in my ears why I'm hearing that sound and my headaches, this women does not care for you if you are not an elder or her own background. She is the second worst doctor I have seen, first one is dr.kavita . I live right above this clinic and I will never be going here ever again, even though it's 1 min away from me.

I am very grateful to the physician at this clinic - even though I am a "walk-in" patient, i called late July to indicate my concern about the lump I found - without doubting me, she said she would suggest that I ask my family MD for a mammogram and ultrasound. This information was key in my ability to ask for these - after a bit of insistence, i was able to get the requisition of these from my own GP and unfortunately am diagnosed with breast ca. however this could have been delayed if it was not with the recommendation by this doctor.
