Dr. Shams has been the family physician of my entire family for a decade. He knows every member of my family very well, and has been a very important part of our lives in many different health concerning situations. He is a great doctor, and has a very caring and compassionate personality. He is never in a rush, and patiently spends time to explain to his patient the underlying causes of their health problems in simple and understandable words. Besides being highly knowledgeable and experienced in his career, Dr. Shams communicates with his patients in a very genuine and empathetic way, developing a great sense of safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship. Every time I have visited his clinic, I have returned with pleasant and positive feelings about myself! My family and I am very grateful for all the hard work Dr. Shams has done and continues to do for us and all his patients in the community. Thank you Dr. Shams from the bottom of my heart <3

Dr. Shams has been our family doctor for over 8 years now. He is very knowledgeable and more importantly very caring. I feel like he is part of our family. The staff is very kind and patient. I certainly recommend this clinic and Dr. Shams.

Horrible service!! The front desk lady is completely rude unless you are from Iran. She makes exceptions depends on your race ????????‼️I was absolutely shocked. The doctors are there to print money not to help people. Overall extremely disappointing would avoid this clinic

Honestly I would like to give a 0 star if google would let me ! Stay away from this unprofessional, rude, careless health care clinic because they are not helpful at all. The receptionists there will forget to fax your urgent referral, specially in emergency needs and they always have excuses for not doing their jobs right ???????? they are careless, just a money machine ????

I have been there twice on the weekends and got rejected both times, being said they are not walk in clinic any more or don’t have time for other patients, just for their clients. Probably it will be more helpful if they edit the information on their website: - OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK TO PROVIDE PATIENTS WITH EXCELENCE IN MEDICAL CARE ?????? - Walk-In clinic services to our valuable patients?????? - Book your appointment by phone???? You never answer the phones!

The doctors are good but being Caucasian means all the Iranian friends get to go in front of the line, even with an appointment. Used to like going there, but really it's a clinic with Iranian doctors for Iranian patients. Unless you speak Farsi they barely acknowledge your presence. In Farsi, the assistants will gladly converse and explain, but in English you are luckily to get a nod of acknowledgement.

Very poor customer service and very rude staff,I didn't meet Dr.shamas but before he was with my Dr.(Jalali) In same office but after they moved some where else , I asked for my history file but they didn't any cooperation for send my file and Shiva spoke very rude to me. I had before sad experience with her in Capilano mall office, she is not acceptable for this job.

If you want to avoid poor service and being treated like a second class citizen from.ghe receptionist this is your place! Avoid here at all costs they won't even accept clients unless you are from their nation! They won't even give me an appointment! Look at their book of business I'm sure it's all from their own country..

Great experience! Made a same day appointment on capitano Clinic and got in right away. The front desk staff and the medical assistant were very nice and helpful. Dr. Afshari was great, gave realistic expectations and timelines. I will definitely be back and would recommend the practice!
