DESCRIPTION

Here you will be able to see the opinions of people who used the products and services of Blue Sky Family Health Team After Hours Clinic (Doctor) in the area close to North Bay (Canada).

At the moment this business has a rating of 3.7 over 5 and that score is based on 15 reviews.

You may have noticed that its rating is really positive, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the evaluation is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.

As you know, we don't usually stop to put evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

This Doctor is included in the category of Walk-in clinic.

Pathetic. The entire point of a walk in clinic is to serve people without family doctors. North Bay is infamous for the lack of doctors! This place will only see you if you already have a family doctor AND they are on the approved list of Blue Sky members. They are only making a bad situation worse.

Maybe it would help if this walk in clinic posted that your family doctor has to be in the Blue Sky medical network team or you won't even be able to see a doctor Mine wasnt so I was told to go to emerg -just to get some a antibiotics for a bad tooth Out think our healthcare system does t need me taking up valuable space at the Er when a walk on clinic could have easily helped me(and my tooth) I should also point out this walk in is the ONLY one open on Sunday Isnt the whole point of a walk in clinic to assist clients that may not have a family doctor as well? Or to assist clients who drs are not in the "click" not to mention the cost of a trip to the local er.. Ridiculous

As someone with multiple medical issues/prescriptions the clinic is extremely vital for me and keeps me out of the ER. I sympathize with people who are turned away because they don’t have a doc belonging to the Blue Sky group. However, the clinic was created to service blue sky patients whose doc is unavailable and/or you require urgent medical attention. The clinic “frees up” the ER and other walk-in’s as we are directed to only use this one. Personally, I’ve always been treated with kindness and respect.

I am so grateful that my new doctor refers to this clinic as sometimes I have a medical issue and am not sure if I should make an appointment with my doctor, and now this can be determined by a knowledgeable and pleasant nurse practitioner. From the moment you walk in you are greeted cheerfully by staff... and treated with respect. The building, offices and washroom are clean and lots of parking. As an older person, I appreciate the extra care and concern they give, to everyone. I have also attended the after hours walk in clinic and the same care and concern is shown.

Right from the get-go my counselor admited it seemed I had many of the same tools (been dealing with anxiety and depression for over 20years) that she could provide. Her body language often screamed disinterest, and I was often made to feel like I was digressing the conversation, constantly being reminded of how much time was left. So much so, that she commented on how often I apologized during our sessions(yeah, you made me feel I was wasting your time) By our second appointment the counselor was fixated on a "Eureka" moment I did not agree with, and tried to clarify, as I was concerned I wasn't going to get proper help, seeing as shevwas fixated on the wrong thing. Rather than determine what would help she kept pushing that the test had worked, and refused to accept my response had been analytical. At the end of the session I vocalized that my mood was actually worse leaving than it had been when I came in, which was met with "is what it is right?" The councellor could tell from my body language I did not want to schedule another appointment, and was not bothered seeing me leave, though aware I was now worse off. Seems the only option is go to emerg. and tell them how I feel, and risk being locked up in the psych ward.

Unresponsive when needed and getting a prescription refilled is non existent in this establishment. Plus terrible customer service. Go anywhere else people!!
