I had to be referred to a gastrointestinal specialist. My family doctor told me immediately that it was my gallbladder. But she wasn't allowed to say anything because it was not her specialty. He told me repeatedly it wasn't my gallbladder. There was nothing wrong with me. 4 months later, after I went down to 88 pounds, because my body was not processing anything, he finally, and reluctantly took out my gallbladder. Well, that's not the kind of specialist anyone needs. Considering I thought I was just going to starve to death because he wouldn't help me.
