In our experience, Dr. Mpiana always takes time to listen to us and treat our concerns respectfully. Good sense of humour (which is important in any professional for us). Maybe a little too tied to forms, but not to the detriment of listening to us as patients. Unlike so many doctors today, Dr. Mpiana listens first and takes notes second; not tied to a computer (no computer in the exam room - awesome!). Definitely feel treated as people. Thank you.

Staff was nice, office was small but clean and tidy. Doctor was not friendly at all, seemed uninterested and annoyed by me having 2 problems to discuss. I felt like I was being rushed out. Id return for basic care in a pinch but not as my family dr.

This man is a respectable, highly intelligent and compassionate physician. He understands the challenges we face and shows empathy, while finding a solution. In my opinion, he is the google of medicine. He knows the algorithm of possibilities for ones health and stays up date on the way the medical field evolves. I trust him with my health and I'm grateful he is my doctor. Keep up the great work, Dr. Mpiana!

First of all I am really upset about how some people posted some nuisance and irrelevant statements about a gentleman doctor like Mr Pinos Mpiana. I have been through a serious car accident and this gentleman has been treating me as one of his own since day one. He got me a physiotherapist within the shortest possible time and filled out all my required paperworks from work without any hesitation or time delay. Yes, he is kind of specific and precise, talks on the point and doesn't try to talk rubbish and make little jokes but straight on to the point, if that doesn't suit your appetite just book a ticket for some Russell Peters show. Peopel talk about his office cleanliness, well, what do you expect the busy assistant and the doctor to lick the dirt that your shoe brings in or what??? How could you be so mean commenting about such a patient focused clinic??? The place is clean, tidy and has all the amenities in place, not a 5star hotel or Michelin Star restaurant standard set but it's good enough for a couple hours of comfortable sitting. People being rude about the assistant, maaan, get a life...!!! I couldn't walk properly after my accident due to pain and this lady booked me in even after closing time and other day I seen that lady booked a lady with kids despite the fact she had no appointments. What else do you want her being your chauffeur and get you out of your bed and bring you to see the doctor???? They got something called "Opening and Closing Times". Get your appointments set on time and be on time, they are human being too. We are not doing them any favor, but in some way they are, by accepting us. Learn to respect first ...

This Dr and his secretary treat you like an inconvenience. You are told 3-5 business days for a virtual appointment, the office is only open 4 days a week, which means it could be up to week or more before you get a call back. Heaven forbid you miss the call. Your time has no worth as far as this office is concerned. I'm a nurse and I felt talked down to everytime I had to call. I was dealing with workers and an injury where my cervical spine was involved. I've never been treated more disrespectfully by professionals in my life.

My grandmother needed a new Dr so I brought her to him. Right away he got the ball running on and testing on issues she had been having on issues a past Dr had not even bothered to address. Very Happy so far with his level of professionalism and attentiveness to patients.

Dr. Mpiana himself is great, I’ve been going to him for months in regards to my mental health and he’s been very helpful - his secretary on the other hand definitely needs to learn some manners. Never have I felt so put down by someone in a doctors office - I didn’t even go to my appointment today because she was so terribly rude.. and I made the appointment for a reason, because I needed to see my doctor. Her actions today were definitely not acceptable and I am left hurt and embarrassed after how she treated me.

I have seen dr mpiana on a few occasions though not recently ... He is very thorough and professional ..... One of the best family doctors out there .....I'd highly recommend him

Been here a few times, good for a pinch or a referral but that's about it. Doctor doesn't seem to care too much, and when I called in to make an appointment I didn't even get a receptionist just got sent to voicemail

Worst state of a doctor office I've ever seen!!! My boyfriend was sent there from hospital for a follow up and it was our first and last time there . Layers of dust on blinds with dirt and empty paper towel rolls on floor with dust and dirt .Rust on sink and bottom of doors Extremely unorganized with patients files in plain view of us on desk with personal info . Wish I could add pictures . Very disgusted!

Amazing doctor. He may come off as a little rough but he is an amazing doctor. I met with him for the first time as a new patient and he was very professional and thorough. He spent time listening to mental health issues and asked about my medication. He went through a detailed family history review with me. He ordered the correct blood work for me so he could have a baseline for me as I was a new patient. He also is very quick with referrels. I don't have kids myself but I noticed he is very good with your families and kids as I noticed when in the waiting room. Only thing was a long wait time but I expect that I Newfoundland, it would be no different then any other doctors office. Would strongly recommend him if he is still taking new patients.

I've been seeing dr mpiana for over 5 years now he is by far one of the best doctors in this city.dr mipana never dismisses any concern I have after I had a bad accident (rolled transport truck 5 times) dr mipana takes the time to ensure my medication is correct . You are a person and not just a dollar to him he takes all the time he needs to deal with your medical needs regardless of how long it takes. I would recommend dr mpiana to anyone who needs medical attention thanks.

Dr Mpiana is fabulous, I have not one bad thing to say about him. His secretary on the other hand is very rude, she treats you like you're bothering her, and has no manners. Again, I will say Dr. M is a caring, kind, and very thorough Dr.
