I'll keep this very short and honest: For years I've been dealing with health issues that have been debilitating and painful -- a chronic issue that doctors have been perplexed by and, if I am truly honest, have not offered much hope for present or future solutions. Meeting and discussing the problems with Dr. Drew Jamieson and following his advice has yielded the first week where I have truly felt better in over 4 years. I intend to continue down this path in the hopes that it will only improve with further guidance from this knowledgeable, personable, and intelligent person. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot!

I am updating my original review, which was based on when I came in for my appointment but it was somehow not scheduled in their system, though I clearly booked the appointment over the phone. These things should simply not happen, and if they do happen, more effort should be made to correct the situation. "Glitchy technology" is a terrible excuse to give a customer who made an effort to travel a distance only to be turned away. Then to credit only the parking I paid for... it's honestly a bit insulting. I don't care about $3 for parking, I care about my time and effort to get into the clinic. How about a free consultation? Also, your response doesn't show a proactive mindset. If there are glitches sometimes, what have you done to address the problem? What will you change to avoid this in the future? It should be as easy as getting software to confirm your appointment, ideally sending a meeting request via email or text so that it can go into the clients calendar, then telling your client that they'll be getting that meeting request / confirmation. Many places I go to schedule appointments already do this, and it's automatic. Finally, it would be nice if your apology was an actual apology. You've apologized for my inconvience, you've apologized for the fact that I "feel this upset", and blamed glitchy technolgy, but I did not see you actually apologize for your mistake. You could have simply said "we screwed up" and apologized, and I would accept that. We all make mistakes. It's how we take responsibility for those mistakes and the effort we make to right them that matters. I should mention that I did get a call from them, but I was driving and the conversation didn't stick in my mind. I am replying to their reply, recorded for posterity here: Response from the owner2 weeks ago Hi Des, we are so sorry for your experience, and that you feel this upset. We never intend to have anyone leave our clinic feeling this way. There are sometimes glitches with the scheduling software, as you can imagine, technology isn't always in our favour. We look forward to your upcoming appointment.

I have been going to Dr. Polo for almost 5 years for help with losing weight. Not only does she provide the tools, but also guidance, patience, understanding, a bit of light counseling. And if you need more counseling than "a bit" of counseling, there are great counselors available at the clinic too! Plus this clinic offers workshops, meetups, support groups, cooking glasses, pre-made meals, vitamins, and compounding pharmacy as well. The pharmacists are wonderful and will chat with you while they put your prescription together. Everyone here is so friendly! There are so many other services that I haven't even tried yet, as well. I just always feel like my health is in good hands here.

BE AWARE: the supplements they sell in the clinic can be found in regular stores for 1/4 of the price they charge at Polo Health. The doctor visit is also highly over-priced compared to other naturopaths in the area. I personally was duped into spending $250 there (on top of the $150 that were covered by my insurance), and I can't even use any of the stuff I got, cause it made me sicker than I ever felt before. I find it very suspicious that all the medicine and treatments that were recommended by the doctor were only ones that are offered on-site. That makes me question the credibility of the medical advice and the hidden agenda the doctor might have

Dr Mawji is absolutely phenomenal! I started seeing her about a year ago. I had had a concussion and a bad neck injury and was struggling with anxiety and sleep issues from way before my injury as well as some gut issues. My body was completely unaligned. I had seen multiple doctors, specialists and several alternative practitioners, some progress was made but I had a long way to go. Dr Mawji really took the time to go over everything with me and over the last year we did an IV, an adrenal test and a food sensitivity test as well as consultations and the results were astonishing. She really cared and took the time to find the root of my health concerns and asked questions that other doctors had just bypassed . Not only did she address all of my health concerns and issues but she gave me a plan, put me on the right supplements and provided me with great coping strategies. Dr Mawji is absolutely amazing! My severe symptoms started a little over three years ago. Countless hospital + doctors + specialist visits and doing numerous tests is how I spent the majority of those three years. My symptoms only got worse and I was never given any answers. I had lost all hope and even got to a point where I wanted to give up, I couldn't imagine living the rest of my life like this. I felt like a failure as a mother and a wife. I'm so thankful my husband pushed me to see a naturopath, I was just to sick of seeing doctors to the point I would get bad anxiety and get physically sick. Huge success! The days had turned to weeks, which somehow turned to years of chronic nausea. I had tests and trialed medications and nothing worked. Just my review for one practitioner at this clinic: Dr. Drew Jamieson. Drew's a really nice guy but I would have to recommend to avoid seeing him at all costs, he's simply not a good Naturopathic Doctor. Gave me a whole bunch of supplements and shots in my shoulder for the pain: definitely made things worse. Unfortunate experience for me all round. Won't be back.

I excitingly called today to find out some pricing and information on allergy tests and B12 shots before booking an appointment but in return received such rude attitude from whoever picked the phone on the other side. She did not take me serious and talked over my questions and saying stuff like "what are you asking me? Allergy tests? Well I dont know what youre talking about because we have hundreds" Of course I wouldnt know what type tests you carry and it would of been kind to say it in a better way. Then I asked about B12 shots and if they are a part of the IV therapy because I searched but wasnt sure and she just gave me a sigh saying "umm I dont know what youre talking about? What do you mean by IV therapy and what do you mean by B12?" I replied saying sorry I'm asking for the prices and info and she went on about how I dont make sense. Obviosuly I wouldnt know what procedures are provided unless she gave me information on each before questioning me like a I'm an illiterate. Also at the end of the call she said no thank you, nothing just a hang up. I'm not the only one, I've read and heard same reviews. I am so disappointed Im surprised with the pricing I got for one of the reasons I even called for and it was very high anyways. But I was considering polo health but not anymore. Nobody needs negativity from the place they go to find a peace of mind and positivity.

I visited this clinic to see Dr. Blyth for some advice about TRT. I was met with a Lion King story and a printed out sheet of nutrition facts. I think it would be wiser to do your own research about the technical details of TRT before spending $300 to hear a jungle book story and no relevant info about TRT. I felt like he didn't have time to address my question and only wanted to use the time we had for his poorly rehearsed spiel for new-comers.

Not impressed and wasted $$$$$ on appointments. I wont name the doctor I saw, but I did not like this place at all.. Did not address my root causes, and right away driven to pay more $ to buy meds from their pharmacy Seems like they only want to push their own products// Vague answers to my questions and when I went to my 2nd follow up visit same thing. Totally regret wasting my $$ on these consultations. I am now going to a different naturalpath doctor and couldn't be happier

Great big shout out to the great folks at Polo Health and Longevity Centre in New West! Especially my friend Dr. Drew Jamieson for the professional, personable and caring doctor you are!! What a great sense of relief...my waiting for more treatment since January finally happened. Today was the start of a few more cutting edge treatments for my knee pain, a process that got interrupted earlier this year but is back on track now. I'm getting PRP treatments again. I can't remain on the pain killing, body destroyers that regular medicine prescribes, especially when I had realized gains from previous PRP treatments to my knees. My body helping heal my body!
