How can a doctor miss a stage 4 endometriosis diagnosis? HOW!?. Biopsy after Biopsy after biopsy, I never felt believed and I was never even prescribed anything for pain!. Just because I'm a type 1 diabetic doesn't mean that everything is caused or related to diabetes - which she actually blamed my problems on. If Dr. Altas did her job I wouldn't of ended up in the E.R. and having an emergency hysterectomy. She MISSED it completely. HOW?! HOW?! HOW?!. She also went and "discussed" my case with a team of other doctors WITHOUT my consent in regards to fertility treatment... NO WONDER I COULDN'T CONCEIVE! she didn't even provide basic care!!.
