The times I had been able to se a doctor in this clinic had been usually good and helpful; however they only allow 10mins per patient , which I think is outrageous since health is a serious matter and a meticulous check up should be done and patients questions answered. So in my prior to last appt I asked the doctor to please take a look to a mole I have that is painful and abnormal looking ,she refused saying she could only help me with one subject at the time and asked for me to come back. So witching 10 mins I was out the office. I came back 4 times and altho I did early they had no space for me, one time they told me to come back hours later and when I did I still waited another 30 mins before I had to go back to work. This last time my daughter and i was really sick , i had fever , pain in my lungs and a swollen throat so when we arrived I could barely speak loud enough to spell our names, she seemed very annoyed and asked us to wait on the bench outside or put a mask on “and sit over there” if we wanted to sit inside. Then and East Indian family arrived and they received the same treatment, not once she made them or us feel welcome, but when a young white male arrived is like ah was a different person, smiley, super chatty putting her job aside to keep talking to the guy. Hard to be receive at a clinic when that sick by somebody who seems so prejudice and grumpy. This clinic used to have way better receptionist , I think they need to come back and either fire this one or give her better costumer service training.

I visited the walk in clinic today and despite the fact they were busy, they were able to give me a time to return 2 hours later and when I returned I didn't wait long at all. We should appreciate that this clinic is available in Nelson. If I booked with my family doctor I would have waited another week and not received the treatment I needed in time. GP's have a tough job, especially at a walk in clinic, so many people coming in with such diversity of conditions, the demands on the doctors are huge. Every time I have ever visited the clinic the doctors have been personable and highly professional.

This pace is pathetic! I phoned and was told that I could just walk in and I'd be served and didn't need an appointment. When I came in at 1 pm I was told I wouldn't get to see anyone unless someone canceled. The receptionist was absolutely rude as well!!! I wouldn't suggest this pathetic place to anyone!!!!

Walk in only means you walk in the door, it's not a walk in clinic you have to make an appointment and they are filled up by the morning, so getting in to see a physician is next to impossible. If you do heaven forbid you require a form for a child's sport or other such paperwork if you do bring your credit card as it's going to set you back $75 plus tax. Best to avoid this place and go to the regular clinic up town they at least are honest and you know you need an appointment and do not bend you over to fill out a couple check boxes on paper so your child can play sports.

We are new to Nelson and while disappointed we can't find a family physician we have been very happy with the kindness and care received at KLM. The front reception is helpful and the doctors have been approachable and reasonable for our whole family. Thank you!

Very busy, so best to go early in the morning. They are busy because they are efficient and professional, as well as provide a very helpful atmosphere.

This Clinic is a Godsend for the Nelson area. Top notch Physicians and receptionists going the extra mile for us in really hard and dangerous times. These healthcare workers have family also. Lets treat them with the repect they deserve.

The 2 IQ bim-bos that are receptionists here should have no place in a medical center, let alone work anywhere at all. They are rude, crude, and seem very unqualified to work with the public. You know there is a problem when every one star review here is aimed at the staff and not one about the doctors. I don't know what kind of nazee regime they are running here, but it has no place in a medical practice.

This is the first clinic that we’ve been, where we were treated poorly. We walked-in the clinic with 2 toddlers. They were playing and reading books and just being kids. then the receptionist told us to take the kids and wait outside because she cant hear the other people because of the kids. We didn't know that kids are not allowed there. The Doctors on the the other hand are very helpful.
