Cold, uncommunicative, non responsive or caring, even the front desk layout is meant to separate patients from reception. Difficult to reach. Impossible to get an appointment. I have been a patient here for over 18 years and have decided to leave due to the risk to my own health if I stay here. They Do not listen or ascertain the gravity of your issue. Urgent calls were not returned. Feels like they only care about delivering your baby then they are done with you and your family. I would not recommend at all. This office leaves you feeling neglected, uncared for, and unimportant. The office staff was heard gossiping about patients even. Appointments are cancelled without notification. Doctors are over booked and rushed.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience with Lexitor for our pregnancy and postpartum supports. The doctors at this clinic were very kind, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive throughout our pregnancy, labour and postpartum care. Our appointments were on time and rarely late. During postpartum Lexitor also offers helpful group baby drop in for added support. We are very happy with our experience!

The doctors at this medical center are so kind and really take the time to explain any questions you have, which I didn’t find with my family doctor before I was pregnant. Reception staff is always so friendly both over the phone and upon arrival. I wish I could stay here full time! :)

In your hour of need you will be treated like gold by the lovely ladies at the front end, and all five of the female doctors are second to none... My dr recently changed to this office, upon arrival 3 girls were sitting in the check in clinic 2 facing me and 1 away. Both girls facing me ignored me for quite a while as they continued talking to each other, eating a mcdonalds burger and on their phones! One glances up and finishes taking another bite before asking how they could help me! Completely unprofessional and rude. My appointment was ar 12:10 and I arrived 5 minutes early, with no one ahead, did not get a room until 1235 and dr uchman did not show up until 1240, as she was apparently teaching and her appointments meant less than her teaching. Will be looking for a new dr and office,

I was a patient of a doctor at this clinic for over 20 years. Three years ago my doctor retired. Unbeknownst to me, I was switched over to another doctor, who has now also retired. This clinic has found a replacement for my original doctor, but not for the second. Now because some one in the office switched my files over to this second doctor they, are refusing to allow me to see, or even make an appointment with the doctor who has taken over for my doctor. I have been treated very rudely by a secretary both on the phone and while in the office. Once while having a physical a secretary asked me to stand on a scale, then proceeded to tell me that I needed to lose weight! She looked as though she weighed more that I did! I am leaving that clinic for good and will be glad not to see those condescending woman who answer the phone any longer!

The best group of doctors you could ever ask for. All of the ladies here are so welcoming and help any way they can. I have never met such a group that genuinely cares about you. Thank you for all you do ladies.

I got referred to Dr Uchman from my family dr for the final stretch of my pregnancy. Only spoke with over phone so far, but I’m excited to meet all dr and staff so I can safely deliver my baby . Very friendly staff

Most amazing group of doctors imaginable! My wife used Lexitor for 2 of her 3 pregnancies. Every single one of the doctors were kind, caring and compassionate. It is also a huge benefit to meet the whole team through your pregnancy as you will likely have one of them on call when you deliver. We will truly miss all of these incredibly special women and can’t thank them enough for seeing us through some of the biggest moments of our lives.

This clinic doesn't deserve even 1 star. They got my wifes chart mixed up with someone elses and told her she gained 22 pounds in a week. The doctor spent over half her appointment thinking she was someone else before she finally clued in that she had the wrong chart. Reply: The name of the patient was not at all close to my wifes name.

This is, without a doubt, the best clinic in Nanaimo. First and foremost, the staff in the clinic. Working for a Doctors office is a painfully thankless job (Thanks to the public) as a secretary is the first one blamed for long phone waits, unavailable doctors and frustrated patients. I came to this clinic under less than desirable circumstances and I would never have expected to feel so supported by the administration staff at a medical clinic as I do by those at Lexitor. They have all gone above and beyond to ensure that they can do what they can to help, while also being incredibly compassionate. I cannot stress how great the clinic staff are. Dr. Peytra Davies is a standout physician. She is admirably dedicated to her patients, an exceptionally experienced listener and has always been thorough with explaining her thoughts and treatment suggestions. You simply can not ask for a better person to have as a Doctor.

Huge shout out to the ladies at lexitor ! When I called my own doctors office to get an appointment because I had thrush on both nipples and my four month old baby refuses to take a bottle , they said I had to wait 2-3 weeks to get an appointment even over the phone . I reached out the the lovely ladies here at lexitor and they helped me . I can't say enough good things about them ! My baby and I thank you and so do my nipples!

I had my first visit at this clinic today. It was very difficult just booking the appointment with very abrupt admin staff on the phone. I arrived on time but was left waiting for 30 mins in the room with my young son. Things happen and doctor run late. Any reasonable experience I had with the doctor has been completely over powered by the very impatient and rude admin staff at the front desk. When I attempted to book a follow up the girl was unkind and unfriendly and didn't even have the decency to wait until I left the office before she started talking about me with her coworker. I can see that complaints regarding the administration staff seems to be a theme on google reviews. Wonder if anyone is reading them and following up with their front line staff!
