I have never been to FYI and I will definitely be giving them my business in future. I was served by a lady named Michele and a new employee. They gave me quality service. I felt like they were truly there for the customer and not trying to upsell anything. Service was fast and genuine. Thank you ladies! I also noticed other customers being greeted right away. Its a good atmosphere.

We could not have had a better experience. My 7-year-old son is dyslexic, and Dr Pratt made his experience amazing! I was concerned that he would have issues reading the letters on the sign, but she was so very patient, and was able to change the sign to letters he could identify, but keep the size the same. It was a positive experience for everyone. Even the front staff were fabulous. My son was very sad that he could not get glasses ????. He is already asking when we can go back because "those people were so nice". The code practices were outstanding, we felt very safe. Everyone wore masks, hand sanitizer was readily available, and temperatures are taken when we entered. Thank you Dr. Pratt and staff!!

Accidentally bent the hinge of my glasses while visiting Nanaimo for the weekend. Even though I wasnt a customer, the friendly staff at this location happily fixed my glasses with a smile. Great human beings!

I was very happy to find out the health of my eyes BUT the two prescriptions I got, one for reading and one for distance were not right. I spent a lot of money on glasses only to find that it is not possible to use the distance glasses at all and my old pair of reading glasses are much better than the new ones I got from FYI. Thus I have had to go back to the old pair (the prescription I did not get from FYI) So I could not possibly recommend them.

I purchased my glasses here quite some time ago and they needed a bit of servicing. Michele looked after me and did a fantastic job of tightening the screws, re-adjusting and cleaning of my glasses. She is a real pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended.

After a recommendation from multiple people on Facebook, we booked an appointment with Dr. Pratt to have our youngest son's eyes checked. Upon entering the established we found it to be very CoVID concious. Tgeir service was phenominal, allowing me to stay with my son through the whole process. Additionally, when speaking with Dr. Pratt about my son's results, she explained everything so that I could understand. Since she found that he really didn't need glasses, she stated that she didn't want to sell me something that we didn't need. What a relief and amazing service!

Due to a scratch on my eyeball, my eye was very painful and I could barely open my eye. I called FYI doctors and they slid me in immediately. The care and treatment I got was amazing. I had instant relief with an easy treatment plan.

Waited 2 months to hear about my referral to Lasik. Phoned Lasik and was told they never received my fax. FYI couldn't even tell me the fax number for them. Very disappointed in this place. This coupled with perscription issues and My family and I will not be back.
