Dr. J. Hancock has been my dermatologist for over ten years. I would recommend him highly particularly for his professionalism. Never since he has been my specialist have I ever had any single issue about which I would complain complain.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Dr. Hancock's assistant left me with 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my face and chest--which resulted in some fairly deep, nasty scars. Read the reviews on ratemds.com.

Julian Hancock is the most arrogant person to deal with. He is rude and doesn't address concerns. He is unprofessional and I would caution anyone to never deal with him.

I am very surprised by the negative ratings on this review site... I saw Dr. Hancock several years ago for a second opinion on a skin lesion. I was told by another dermatologist that the lesion I had on my forehead was basal cell carcinoma. I had been told that surgery was the only option. Dr. Hancock spent a lot of time explaining why my lesion did not match with signs and symptoms of BCC. He was very thorough. As a result he saved me from having disfiguring surgery. Just as he said, the lesion gradually disappeared on its own. Dr. Hancock also has an excellent and professional bedside manner. He was respectful and was happy to answer my many questions. I am now going to return to see Dr. Hancock for treatment of rosacea. PS - It is also great to be able to self refer! Diane
