Ok I’m not gonna sugar coat. First of all I have a lump in my throat and I figured this would be taken serious. First off I was lied to by him saying he would be at my biopsy. Then he lied again saying he’d be at my second appt with the surgeon. He then has his secretary call to tell me I have to wait for him for an hour after my appt. when I asked to speak to him three days before my appt they said. He doesn’ have Time. A specialist who don’t have time for his patient you decide. Horrible that’s why he changed his name his reviews before was one star. To top it off the day of my appt he was in the office and instead of being in the room with me and the other doctor he comes and grab the ultrasound machine for the other appt he made last minute so he can make me wait longer. I had to sit outside as he took his time knowing my doctor was about to do a second biopsy.

I can't speak for any other experience than mine. There was no risk with my visit or any procedures I needed to have done. I believe the doctor should tell you any and all risks regardless of if you ask or not, but, you need to be thorough in your questions and always ask the risks of your procedures if you do not know. My personal experience with Dr Guzder was good. He explained to me some things without me asking and asked me if there was anything I wanted to know several times throughout our conversation. He came off very caring and did not rush me. He listened to my concerns and cleared things up for me that I hadn't known, understood or had any information on before.

Dr Guzder double booked my appointment, I left and when asked to rebook, I said no. he then sent in virtual results of my appointment based on tests he took from my medical history. He maintains his pay from the gov't this way. he is a thief and a time waster. there are better specialists out there.

I have seen Dr Guzder three times now, and I find him to be rather good in many respects. He listens, explains his decisions, thinks outside the box, and his manner is impeccable. I have made some real changes to my life and health because of this man and his encouragement. My appointments are long, and I never feel rushed. My appointment today was almost an hour. I accept you sometimes have to wait, but that is the nature of the beast for all medical situations. I would not hesitate for a moment in recommending Dr Guzder, and Heather is always on point with reminders for appointments and bloodwork. A massive thumbs up from me, and genuine gratitude for expertise and caring that has given me a boost in my quest to return to full health.

Dr Guzder is helpful and thorough, if a little general with analysis and advice. However, his receptionist Heather was passive-aggressive and presumptuous in a way that I find inappropriate for a being receptionist at a medical centre.

Excellent Doctor - Went to see him a couple of years ago and was impressed by his kindness and thoroughness. Saw me very quickly, was familiar with my case, took extra steps to investigate rare and unlikely causes just to be sure. Was very kind and helpful throughout. I had a follow-up call due to a concern and was able to speak directly with him where he was once again kind and thoughtful. Also, he was up to speed on all the latest treatments and also new & upcoming ones that were not yet available. Probably the best doctor I had ever seen and he followed up with nice and precise letters to my regular doctor to inform her of his findings and our discussions. Very good - and has motorcycle magazines in his office! Highly recommended from my experience and I'm following his suggestions with respect to treatment and am improving. Thank you Doctor Guzder for helping me and making my life better!

I have gone to see him multiple times as my endocrinologist for Type 1 diabetes. Everytime I have gone to see him he either ends up having scheduled over top of my appointment, or he spends a solid amount of time during my appointment answering his phone. Aside from that he has been very patronizing everytime I have actually managed to see him.

Seen Dr gudzer after being referred by my family doctor. I found him very informative and straight forward. He was patient in answering all my questions and putting my mind at ease.

Would not recommend this doctor. My Mother was referred to him 4 ½ years ago for hyperactive thyroid treatment. Radio Active Iodine procedure was recommended. Doctor was arrogant and had poor communication skills. The danger of this treatment was never discussed. Had we known the danger we would have reconsidered this. Radio Active Iodine was administered and within 2 days my Mom had a major stroke and heart attack. She went from being a happy active 81 year old to a disabled, brain damaged woman, never to drive again, never to walk again. The doctors in emergency confirmed without a doubt it was caused by the Radio Active Iodine treatment. I wouldn't even give one star, but had to in order to get this to post. Beware of this doctor.

Booked a day off work to travel to Nanaimo for an appointment booked by my GP. Waited in the waiting room for an hour before I asked the front end lady what's going on. She said he would be about another 45 min but I would be next. I've been fasting since last night, and by the time I would see the Dr it was going to be after 4 pm! EDIT - I just was informed that Dr Guzder was able to make a virtual assessment based on test results he took from my medical history. I never gave him permission to get said records, nor did i want him to be involved with the care of my health. By making a virtual assessment, he is able to still get money from the gov't. he a thief. I would not trust this man with your health.

This Quack went into my medical records and made a virtual assessment and sent it to my GP after refused to see him. he's stealing money from our medical system. do not trust this man
