Very professional and polite. Kept me updated on my surgery through out the lockdown when it was cancelled and had to be postponed. Dr. Walc was fantastic as well as the nurses that were with me. Thank you!

I have been a patient in this clinic for the past 5 years. Every time I communicate with this office it gets worse for appointments. Two weeks waiting time for appts is ridiculous but now I am waiting 6 weeks and that is just a phone call. If applying for a new doctor you have to drop the one you have and hope you qualify to get a new one. This is no way to run your clinic. I know we have been in a pandemic but this is unacceptable. I hope that in the future you will be able to service your patients better.

My doctor is amazing, and the quality of care keeps me coming back even though I no longer live in the area; however, the customer service is abysmal. I have held off making appointments (I don't go to the doctor often and only try booking once every year or two) because it takes on average 2-3 days to get through on the phones calling every 10 minutes in their window. On a Friday I actually had a family member go into the office because I was having no luck with phoning in, and they said because my doctor doesn't work Fridays they don't answer their phone (although the answering machine message says they answer the phones on Friday which kept me wasting my day). Also, even though I had someone there in person, they couldn't book an appointment and I have to try calling again on Monday.

Réception by phone is absolute ludicrous. It’s roulette to see if you can get through to schedule an appointment. This needs to change as it’s not comdusivento people who work, seniors or the population needs in general

It is next to impossible to make an appointment due to the current phone system. You do not have the option to leave a message unless you are cancelling an appointment. As a recent patient, this is a nightmare compared to my former doctors office.

So let me address some of the problems noted in other reviews. Yes the difficulty in trying to book an appointment is horrendous. I have given up trying to call in for the most part and just drive by to book an appointment it ends up being faster! However my own opinion is that far more important would be the quality of care given when you get to the doctor. I have had other doctors where a scheduled appointment was a place holder, ie when you got there for your appointment you would wait 2 to 3 hours to see the doctor. At Bayside I have never been more then 10 minutes off of my scheduled appointment. And at the same time the doctors have always given me plenty of time with them and I have never felt rushed. So that means that the doctors do not overbook. So this is Penetang, we only have 9500 residents - if we have an emergency GBGH is only 5-10 minutes away and the ER there is very well staffed and knowledgeable. So I never feel like I am without help if I need it. I am happy to have such competant and personable doctors so close to home and see no reason to be negative. Thank you Bayside for being here for the community.

If there was less then one star I'd have clicked that. The hours for answering the phone are rediculous. No call backs. This has been my doctor all my life and the staff working the front desk are less then intellegent. Will be looking for a new doctor if I cannot get ahold of mine without a weeks advance notice.

I have been trying to get a hold of my doctor since Thursday all I get is the answering machine no one answers the phone at this place! Very disappointed!

The wait times to see your Dr. are pretty terrible, waiting at least a month for anything.

Making an appointment with my family Dr is ALWAYS a month + to get in. Brutal!!
