Dr. Elkassem took me in as a follow up patient although I hade my sleeve in Tijuana! He saw me religiously for months on end to help with my discomfort, pain and swallowing. Dr. Elkassem hands down has the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced with a surgeon. I know three people who have had surgery by this amazing Doctor, and I confidently say if I could have another procedure by anyone, or would be him. My only regret besides not doing this sooner, is I wish I would have had the bypass. I suffer too much keeping food down. And that was part of the risk. So I don’t fault the surgeon in Tijuana! That hospital was paradise!

Had a misunderstanding with an appointment for a minor surgery, and ended up missing it. Ended up in miscommunication, but the doctor made the effort to call and assure that all was ok and he was willing to rebook. Understanding and patient doctor. Much appreciated.
