Worst place ever. Revolving door of doctors. Never could reach front desk for a appointment. If I did get in it was never ever the same doctor. No notifications of doctors leaving. Didn't even know they deregistered me as a patient till I had to be rushed in to emerge and was notified that way.

The only thing that made me register here was Dr.Alquadhi ,the pedictrician,I got a good review about him and every word is true.And you get a free parking there. But other than that the clinic runs late everytime,sometimes even 4/5 hours,moreover the staffs are quite rude and just careless about patients.They are always busy never calls back after a voicemail.Most of the times they dont pick up calls.The only excuse they have is “we are busy”,they should learn multitasking,not only doing one work at a time in a slow pace.

I too had a long wait to meet Dr.Goldie & recieved a notice it would be delayed & a notice that he wouldn't be available. I used the walk in practice many occaisions waiting & then I got notice for me & my kiddos to meet Dr. Lau as our new family physician. I'm very satisfied he's our family Dr. The patient care I've recieved in this clinic is 5 star worthy. I can call & get a same day appointment. That's great service. Update September 16, 2021 My doctor moved away and I've been assigned another doctor. Getting an appointment is no longer a breeze and I am less satisfied with the service.

I was in tmc asked for blood tast paper I told the secretary to take paper from the Dr. She refused to asked him and she was so rudely and yelled to me her voice to high and in the end she told me I’m yelling on her so rude ladies in front desk always she gave appointment like after week if I’m sick why I’m waiting for one week go better to Walke to clinic fast and same day so rude rude ladies in front fest it should be to change them for more experience and nice and angle with the patient so rude.

Love this clinic. I go to the Hyde Park clinic with Dr Tallevi. She's fantastic, everyone is great. I also have been sent to see Dr Goldie at the Thompson location and he's great and the staff is all really nice. Also the online secure booking and messaging system has been great.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to see Dr. Lau, at the Thompson Medical Centre Walk-In clinic yesterday. This is a busy clinic, but staff are very friendly – there is a positive team atmosphere. The layout of the clinic is attractive and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable chairs in the waiting room area - spotless throughout! I was apprehensive, as I have not previously relied on a walk-in clinic for primary medical care, but Dr. Lau was patient-focused, perceptive and very thorough. I have no hesitation in attending the TMC walk-in clinic until I am able to sign on with a family doctor. Thank you for your commitment to front-line healthcare.

Giving this a 2 star and not a zero star simply because there was lots of parking and it was free. Also place looks nice and clean. However I was there this morning and after giving my information was asked to take a seat there were only 2 others there so I expected that the wait would not be too long. After waiting one hour I simply got up and left. My suggestion would be that the person in reception taking your information should tell you what your expected wait time is. I assumed, incorrectly, that with only myself and 2 others there that the wait time would not be too long. I will not go back. Also as I walked past the receptionist to leave I was not even asked why I was leaving.

At first there was a Dr. Rahal, then when I went for my next appointment he was gone, and I was switched to Dr. Jackson. He is fine and professional also helped me make the final decision to quit smoking. I hope he will be my regular Dr. for a few years, but in London one never knows.......

On a scale of 1-5 this place doesn't rate. Horrible from the lack of motivation at reception desk to doctors that perpetually run late or do not return calls for virtual appointment. (I have a different doctor than my husband at Thompson). Getting a simple prescription for Levothyroxine (Thyroid) always seems to come with drama. Management here is no help either. Very condescending & rude. IMHO this medical centre is poorly run and lacks organization. Hopefully my old doctor, who is over an hour away, can take me & my husband back.

I've been going to this clinic for the past 6 months. I am currently pregnant so I am going there every month. I've been reading some of the reviews and I have to say I haven't had any issues similar to the ones I've read. I think the staff is super nice & I always get in to see my family doctor within 5 mins of arriving. The clinic is super nice and clean, the parking is never too full and it's free so I love that. I do have to say that the walk-in clinic has a bit of a wait (but I guess which walk-in doesn't) one time I couldn't get in to see my family doctor so I went and waited, it took around 40min to an hour to get in. So far I've had nothing but positive experiences so I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Brand new patient coming in for her first every appointment. Arrived 10 minutes late (got lost) and was fined a $50 late fee and was denied to even meet my new doctor. I understand that you gotta put late fees on things to help hold people accountable, but it was a terrible way to be "welcomed to the practice", especially for a 1st offense for a new patient! Staff was cold and and not understanding in the least. I paid the fine, asked them to remove me from their patients list and walked out.

Had such a positive experience here. Came in weeks ago with a high fever. Was given the right antibiotics for a chest infection, and received a referral for a chest x-ray. Dr. Billesberger was amazing! Receptionist was very kind and pleasant. Will definitely now be using this clinic!

Was able to see a male dr without waiting. Explained I was prone to UTIs and had MS. I was in severe pain and had to book off flying as I was doubled over in pain and the pressurization did me in. He told me I had to wait several days for tests to come back and he wouldn’t write me a note for work while I waited days to PROOVE I HAD A UTI. Worst experience. Walked out of there, went DIRECTLY to a clinic with a female Dr and was tested, given antibiotics and pain medicine. She also noted I had a fever and it was a bladder infection. Wrote me a note to rest for two days until the medicine could kick in. Waste of tax dollars, waste of a Drs power and to allow someone to be doubled over in pain crying AND NOT WRITE A NOTE OR GIVE MEDICINE YOUR ETHICS SHOULD BE QUESTIONED. Funny how 2 hours later, a female dr ran 2 tests and gave two medicines in a note. A week later the male Dr from this TMC clinic called to tell me I had a bladder infection!!!! No $&$&! Pathetic we treat people who are looking to get better like this.... I wasn’t asking for narcotics or questions that were above a family Dr and for my MS neurologist. When I told my MS Dr she was confused that this “family Dr” didn’t know MS patients have issues with UTI and bladder infections. Waste of time and tax payers money. Walked out of there and went to the urgent care at hospital. Don’t waste your time. A week later he calls to tell me I was right I have a UTI! Ummmmm thanks Sherlock!

TMC helped me through one of the scariest moments of my life. First panic attack I drove to this medical centre for the first time, and they treated me with the utmost respect and consideration. It was because of their professional and caring attitude that day that really helped to slowly bring me out of the panic attack. Thank you TMC for making an initial scary experience for me into one of the most blessed days to realize that there are many people out there that care for people, their job, and really want to genuinely help you, and make sure you are ok.

The one doctor I had there wouldn't let me speak he acted like what I said didn't matter. When trying to book appointments they would tell you they will call you back and not call your for days and phone appointments went horrible as they did not call at all that day.

Applied for a family doctor over 1 year ago. We were told the wait would be 4-6 months. Contacted them in late Sept and was told they are having trouble hiring a new doctor and haven't taken new patients. Called again in March of 2018 and they still don't know because they haven't hired a new doctor yet. I have been to the walk in once and it was a fairly good experience other than the wait time. If you are looking for a family doc, go elsewhere. Apparently nobody wants to work for this clinic.

Walk in on a busy Friday and to be seen within an hour made me feel very welcomed. The receptionist was extremely friendly and the doctor was the nicest one I have seen and made me feel very comfortable. Overall the atmosphere is the cleanest clinic I've been too in London. Only downfall they aren't accepting patients as everyone's roster is full, but I definitely will be using this clinic as my primary medical centre.

I have never been so happy to write a review for a walk in clinic. My experience was pleasant from the start: Front desk staff were so patient on the phone as well as in person, the facility is just newly renovated and beautiful. On top of which Dr. Lisa Billesberger was fabulous! She really listened to what I had to say, was extremely friendly and was also very attentive to my symptoms. I would highly recommend going here.

Dr. Alqadhi is the absolute worst. We switched my son over to him while ago, as he was closer to our house, easier commute and my Dr is there as well. We had an appointment with him for the meet and greet and then a second one in winter of 2018. My son is 5. He doesn't go to the doctor very often for check ups. We tend to use the children's after hours clinic when he is sick, as it is more convenient around my working hours. I called the dr to get a prescription for my son's puffer. Only to be told he is no longer a patient, as we don't see the Dr enough. Uh, what? My son is now due for his 5 year shots, and a pre-op check up for his dental surgery, and I have no pediatrician. News to me. And of course, it's going to be 48 degrees this week and I now have to hunt for a puffer refill.

I've read the reviews of others, and I can't really confirm the bad stuff I've read. The only thing that wasn't great worth mentioning, is the nurse that sees you when you first go into see the doctor seemed like she couldn't care any less. Other than that, the clinic is good, and the wait times are very reasonable.

Medical staff are great! Reception is HORRIBLE!! they must have been trained at MEDEX. Sat on hold for 15 mins, hung up and called back answered "Thompson Medical Center can you hold " before I had the chance to answer I was put on hold again. Update: I received a phone call the next day from the office manager apologizing for what happened. Assurances were made that additional training and new technology were going to be implemented to mitigate problems.

I am rating poor once there should state somewhere that the extended hours is only for family doctors, that by the way is not accepting new patients. I just waste my time going there. If you are walk in it's only until 5pm.

As for the first time patient it was a pleasant experience if compared to several other clinics from both Ontario and Quebec. No long lines, though the order in line is not clear, pretty clean, the doctor was very pleasant and professional.

A year ago, Dr. Goldie saved my life. I had a major infection I had left untreated, he was so attentive and pursuaded me to go to the emergency. He was kind, compassionate, and professional. The clinic staff was amazing; I was seen right away, even as a walk-in patient. I would definately recomend this clinic. The pharmacy attached is fantastic as well. My wife went to Thompson Medical Centre because she had come down with something and was having difficulty breathing. She also has asthma and her rescue inhaler had run out. She was experiencing a lot of distress with her breathing and explained that to the receptionist upon arriving. My wife does have experience going to walk-ins in the past for the sort of thing and she has always gotten right in as "difficulty breathing" is usually considered a more serious symptom. After an hour of waiting, and still in distress, my wife approached the receptionist again to try to again explain her situation and how if she is in this much distress with breathing they usually get her right in... The receptionist basically told her to go to the ER because there was nothing she could do but would have a nurse come evaluate my wife. This is not an ER matter which is why my wife went to a walk-in clinic. Another hour passed and this nurse the receptionist spoke of never came. My wife ended up just leaving and going to another walk-in in the area where they took her in right away due to her difficulty breathing and diagnosed her with Bronchitis and prescribed her medication and a rescue inhaler right away. Very very disappointed with this experience and the receptionists at Thompson Medical Centre.

I’ve gone here for quite some time now. I’ve had some very helpful doctors and some not so helpful doctors. The clinic itself is great the nurses are great and it’s a very clean professional environment. But when it comes to getting a helpful doctor that can cater to your needs it’s a hit or miss.

Horrible experience with this clinic. My doctor would book 3+ months in advance for something semi-urgent. She was also super rude on the two-ish times I saw her. Then they dropped me as a patient because I didn't go enough or something. The lack of care is astounding. It's all about the money, not the care.

My son has behavioral issues and had a behavioral pediatrician. He went through madame vanier for therapy and was medicated for 2 years. His behavior pediatrician told us at our last visit 2 years ago that because he was off medication and doing well that he did not need to see him again unpess he started having more behavioral problems. Fast forward to a month ago my son started experiencing more behavioral issues. I contacted his behavioral pediatrician. No answer left message. No response. A week later i followed up, no answer no response. Friday oct 23 i called again, got an answer. Was told over the phone that since it had been more than a year i may need a new referral. What???? No one told me this. I was told directly from the doctor that my son was his patient. That he did not need to see him unless he started experiencing more problems. Now when more problems have presented he is not his patient anymore! If i wad told that he would beed to visit atleasy once a year to be kept as a patient he would have been thete every 6 months, my child experiencing issues and no one to talk to no one at least he had a doctor, but no he had no doctor now!!! And the way i was told and the amount if time i waited and persisted on a response and i get treated like garbage are you kidding me! This is unprofessional, unpleasant and unethical of a doctor to do to a patient! His doctor, Dr. Samim Al-Qadhi – Pediatrician at Thompson Medical clinic hyde park London Ontario.

It is almost impossible make an appointment with these doctors. No one answers the phones. No ability to leave a voice mail. Online booking is almost impossible. You need to drive there and leave a post it note on the door of the clinic. Unbelievable.

This is where my Dr practices. I couldn't get an appointment. So I used the walk-in clinic. I was dismissed about my injuries. (I had been in a pretty serious car accident). I asked if the Dr should look at my neck, the response "I saw you walk in, you're fine".The prescription was something that combined with my other medications would cause internal bleeding. Because obviously they didn't look into my history. And they didn't ask about other medication. I'm filling an official complaint.

Nowadays you can judge the value of a walk in clinic by whether or not it stays open during lockdown. If it doesn't it was deemed so unimportant by those that run it, that it wasn't deemed an essential service. Apparently this facility feels that the only people worthy of medical assistance are people rich/dumb enough to waste money on luxury's like phone numbers, who are also awake during 9AM-1PM. So no night workers who are asleep during that time, they're not worth seeing.

I want to let people aware that this office has treated me horribly over the past few months. If you call and expect anyone to answer you're kidding yourself. Also when you leave a message ( I have left 7 in total) your calls will not be returned at all. Today I had to phisically go to the office. Once I walked in the lobby I was stopped and told I was not allowed to speak to anyone in the offices unless I had an appointment (which I was not able to make because nobody answered calls or returned messages even when I said that I needed my diabetic medications renewed). I calmly explained my situation and was handed a paper saying that myself and hundreds of other patients no longer have a family doctor due to the doctor's hired not wanting to practice anymore. This was the first I had heard of it and did not receive any calls, letters or emails making me aware of these changes. I employee you to find a different company for your healthcare as this place has completely failed me.

I didn't think there was a good walk in clinic in london. I've been going to walk ins for years and have had the same terrible experiences. Long wait times and terrible, rude, condescending doctors. I had 6 people in front of me and was in within half an hour. The environment inside is beautiful, very comfortable. The doctor was so, so friendly, listened to me and made me feel taken care of. I'll never go to any other clinic again. Plus they're open early! Thank you so much!

Rude rude RUDE ladies at the front desk. I was in awe at how rude they were to me and everyone who came in after me. This clinic is over hyped. There is nothing extraordinary about this service. I agree with a previous comment- invest in your employees before your wall waterfall.

A good clinic - when it's not closed unexpectedly. Beware that this location does not update their website to indicate that the physician is not available that day - leaving you to walk/drive all the way there to be stopped by a sign on the door. This has happened to me three times in the last 6 months. The fourth time I went, the physician was in, and everything went smoothly.

Dr Velker, Dr Billesberger, and Dr Mammoliti are all amazing, caring, competent, bright, and another other positive description you could give to a health care professional. These three doctors have been instrumental to myself and my husband’s health over the years. Our family doctor is Dr Velker, but I have had to see Dr Billesberger a few time when she has been away. I’m not usually comfortable with seeing new doctors, but she instantly makes you feel safe and comfortable when you talk to her, whether it be an appointment or through the walk in clinic. Shout out to Hailey too for helping my husband quit smoking!

The doctors and nurses I have seen are wonderful, no complaints there, they really are great to work with which is why we stay with TMC. Giving only 2 stars though because the admin support/ front desk service is truly terrible and it can be quite difficult to actually get an appointment. I have been given misinformation numerous times. When my GP was on maternity leave I tried booking a regular check up for my infant and was told there wasn't anyone filling in for my doctor at the time and they couldn't book any appointments in advance for when she would be returning. I was told to call back in 2 months to book an appointment as my doctor would be back to work then. So my son's immunization was put off. When I called back to book the appointment I was told that my doctor had actually already been back to work for almost a month and was already fully booked ahead several weeks so we had to wait even longer. Also, when booking check up appointments for my children who were supposed to be getting immunizations I have been scheduled a few times on days when our doctor is only taking virtual appointments... Not sure how the people booking the appointments expected the shots to be administered on a day when we couldn't come into the clinic for our appointment. I always have to ask now if they are booking us for a day when our doctor is actually seeing patients in person. More recently I tried to make an appointment and was told that the next available time was one that could not be booked in advance, it was a spot reserved for same day call ins. I was told to call first thing that morning and I would be scheduled in for that same day. I called at the time I was told to call, first thing, and was told that the day was fully booked. When I asked about the same day appointment that was supposed to be available I was told "no, somebody already filled it even though they weren't supposed to". None of the administrative staff seem to be on the same page, very frustrating as a parent trying to keep my kids check ups on schedule, trying to get care for them when more serious unforeseen issues come up is challenging. I've ended up using virtual walk in clinics during the pandemic as they have been more reliable. Again, if my GP wasn't so good I would definitely be looking elsewhere. Only posting this review in the hopes that whoever handles the admin staffing will look into better training, more support or hiring more competent staff, not sure what the issue is but it makes the patient experience pretty negative.

Perfect Experience. I called the clinic in the morning and the front desk told me the doctor will have one hour lunch break from 12 to 1, so I arrived at 12:58 and waited for less than two minutes to see the doctor. The front desk receptionist was very nice and the doctor was professional as well. The prescribed medicine he recommended was quite helpful. I will definitely recommend this walk-in clinic.

Very unprofessional from desk staff. I literally watched them laugh at the phone ringing. No wonder I can barely ever get through to make an appointment. The nurses and doctors seem great to me so far. It's reception that has a problem. They should be spoken to. It's not like people are calling to book a train ticket. This is our health!!!

Had an appointment with Dr Velker at 245 pm. It is 4:20 and I am still waiting, god knows when she’ll see me. The waiting time it is just ridiculous. Why do we even make an appointment for? It is actually disrespectful for patients that have to wait for hours and basically book the afternoon off. To me a 2 HR waiting it’s unacceptable.

Front office staff are terrible at answering calls. I normally have to call 7-8 times just to make an appointment with a dr. Was also told my son wasn't in the system even though weve both been going there the last 2 years. They need to hire a new receptionist. Update: we can now book appointments with our dr online, but their new self check-in system doesnt wven have hand sanitizer nearby to disinfect our hands after checking in. Won't be surprised if I catch a cold or the flu after my appointment. Also, it doesn't allow you to check in if you dont have an OHIP card, so if you arent under OHIP you will have to go to the desk anyway.

Even before covid , i could never get an appt .they came up with every reason not to accommodate me.I dont like saying this but i felt my skin color (white ) was the problem as the 5 times i did try in person i was turned away for one reason or another .Finaly i realized the "problem " sadly

I'm with Dr. Zhao and she is the best doctor I've ever had! Always gives you all the time you need and actually listens-I never feel rushed with her. I find the reception staff very friendly-so I'm not sure what the complaints are about! I love that there is a walk-in attached to the clinic, so there are lots of options if you need to get in and see someone that day.

If you are reading these comments while searching for an exceptional walk-in clinic or future GP keep in mind that usually people only will write out of anger or high praise. I, myself, have always had such a positive experience at TMC! Everyone coming into a walk-in medical clinic should expect a wait time - it's the unfortunate down side of not having a family doctor. The front desk reception ladies have never been been rude, dismissive or insensitive of me or my partners needs. The clinic as a whole is newer, and kept clean and sanitary. My experience with the walk-in doctors was also enjoyable. Dr.Lisa is amazing- so informative and easy to speak to! If you are looking for a polite, accommodating, and thorough medical staff, TMC is your place!

I would have given 5 stars but I expirence the worst customer service ever by Stephenie she is the most rude and disrespectful person I have ever come across in my entire life she rolled her eyes when I said hello, and put her hand up to me when I tried to speak. Pre COVID this was a great clinic. A quick look through google reviews will show the same. Since COVID, I find the front staff can be a bit overwhelmed. However, they are very nice and apologetic and this makes a very large difference. My spouse goes to the doctors on Oxford and Talbot and they are just horrible and rude. It is a much better experience at Thompson Medical. Easy to book when you call and hit 0 or just stop in. Clean reception, waiting area, and rooms. The care given by Dr. Data is just fantastic. He has been my doctor for 5 years now and still takes the time to listen and show compassion, even when you babble endlessly - and babble I do. .

Was referred to Dr. Goldie for a Vasectomy. From the virtual meeting, to the procedure I had yesterday I couldn’t of asked more. Virtual appointment was smooth and helped ease my worries. Yesterday’s appointment was like a F1 pit stop, quick chat with a nurse, met Dr. Goldie, asked if I had any questions to which I said “no, let’s just get it done quick ????” He gave me an understanding nod and away he went. Made sure I fully understood how to recover correctly before I left and gave me plenty of info to read. Top quality service and top guy.

Very disorganized system. Poor response. I am trying to book an appointment with my child for more than two weeks but I could not. I tried to contact them many times but I could not reach them. I left them a voice mail message one week ago but there was no response yet. I went to their building, but I could not reach the office. At the building entrance, one of their staff told me that I could not enter the building to book an appointment and I should book online. I tried to book online, but I could not because I could not find my family doctor's name on the list.
