Highly recommend! Conveniently located at Wharncliffe/Oxford, I went to MyDoctor Now, without an appointment, as a walk-in patient. I was greeted by friendly and informative front desk staff. After filling out some brief paperwork, I was seen by a nurse within 10 minutes. She addressed my concerns and did a physical assessment. We then spoke to a friendly physician via the Ontario Telemedicine Network who read over the nurse's notes and made a diagnosis. I will be returning in the future for my healthcare needs. Thanks!

The nursing and front desk staff were incredible and answered all of my questions. The idea of having a doctor Skype in is great in theory but unfortunately the doctor doesn’t provide much time to patients. After being called back due after a test, the doctor called, started talking right away very quickly and then hung up. No time for me to confirm I understood what she was saying or any questions. Only giving 4 stars due to the amazing staff in the clinic.

Poor time management, expect to wait 3-5 times longer than the girl at the desk says. I booked an appointment for 11:15 am and showed up at 11:10, upon arrival I was told it wouldn't be longer than a 10 min wait. It is now 11:45 (30 min past the start time) and I am still waiting, was just told that it could be another 45 minutes. I hope this fully illustrates the frustration and anger I am experiencing due to this poorly functioning office. Very Disappointed.

I was in to have stitches removed from a previous injury. The staff were friendly, the nurses very professional. I did make an appointment ahead of time and had less than a 5 minute wait after I completed my paperwork. Using OTN was a bit weird feeling at first, but for something as simple as stitch removal when I don't have a doctor in London, this was an excellent alternative. My only complaint is the paid parking, but in all fairness, there are fewer and fewer places in the city with free parking, so I can complain about it, but it is what it is.

I was misdiagnosed and the repercussions have been severe. I recommend you go to a clinic where there is a doctor on site and not via webcam. Your health is simply too important, it's not worth the risk.

Took an hour and a half to speak to a doctor for literally less than one minute for a prescription renewal. Unlike advertised online and within the building this took 6 times longer than advertised. Only positive was that the staff was kind.

My daughter received substandard care at this facility, she left in tears. Her concerns were not meet, she was not given the patient's right to speak and the Dr hung up on her. She was told there was nothing on her throat and it was just food. I called to speak with the manager but only received voicemail. I believe it is the duty of a manager of a medical facility to check VM during open hours no matter the day of the week. I called again the next day to get her VM again!!!! I did leave my name at the beginning of each message and again at the end and I did share my opinion that a manager representing a clinic should retrieve messages. Well....I got a call back, a VM and when I called back the manager was RUDE. She told me that she didn't work weekends. I knew the conversation wasn't going to go well with her tone and I asked for her to stop speaking to me in that manner and asked for the owner and her full name. She told me she was the owner and to get on with what my issue was. I asked again for her full name and for her to stop talking me in the tone she was. She hung up the phone. Someone in her position in the medical field has the responsibility and duty to listen, period. No matter how upset the person is, because when it comes to the medical field, emotions are usually at their highest. In this case, i just wanted to share our experience and to perhaps help this clinic improve their practice but it's obvious that she doesn't care. Not checking VM left for the owner / manager because she doesn't work weekends and hanging up on concerned family of patients says it all. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! My pictures of my daughter's throat and the voicemail left for me won't post for some reason - too bad. I am very confident I will receive a response that is all nice and publicly suitable!! Or maybe not with this owner.

called for referral to dermatologist. when doctor N. ibrahim called from MDN, she asked if i had 1 in mind already so i gave the name of 1 that i have good history with, just been so long needed new ref. the MDN doctor said the derm's office was "on their list" & thats where she'd send me, no problem. yet some other place calls me saying she referred me there. ive never heard of this derm before & the location is way on the other side of town when i have no vehicle to get there . i dont understand why she even asked where i wanted to go if she wasnt going to send me there

I posted 1 star because I was essentially turned away w/o any help or medication because the dr( whom I waited for over an hr for ,in an extremely uncomfortable and bright fluorescent lighted room) thought I needed more professional help. I was experiencing some kind of panic attack but it didnt matter to her. I still have not found a personal doctor or recieved any treatment/diagnosis. So I felt pushed aside basically.

Really great communication with the receptionist and quick callback from the doctor. This is the first time I’ve used an online doctor consultation/appointment service and I am really impressed with how well it went. Even though the doctor was remotely viewed through a tv, the service was excellent. He immediately sent my son for X-rays. My son was then diagnosed with Lymphoma and has received excellent care through Victoria Hospital. Also, there was no wait time at the clinic.

If your not taking people during the pandemic it might be nice to have that written somewhere outside so patrons do not pay for parking just to walk in to see it written inside on the door! Nowhere on the google search does it say about not seeing patients either it just says open...

I’ve sent family here and regret it each time. They don’t apologize for staff treating you poorly and not doing everything they can to help as proper medical practitioners should. I was very concerned for my daughter’s well-being in terms of health after she was done at this clinic. They don’t care and just want to rush you out. Do not go here. Another thing to note: My daughter doesn’t display last name on google reviews and they claimed to have found a record of her appointment via her name from her google review. I find this highly suspicious. Wishing you all the best in bettering your services. You may need more empathetic nurses and doctors as a start, this especially applies to whomever is replying to these reviews.

Waited 1h40 to speak to a condescending Dr, who tried to pass a GP issue on to my MS Dr whom I’m able to see ever 18 month. Left crying I was in so much pain and upset. Don’t waste your time... use the Maple app, be done in 5 min, speak to a Dr for $50 and have a note and prescription sent to pharmacy within 5 min from home. Having MS, this was one of the worst interactions I have EVER had with a doctors. Nurse and receptionist so kind. Biggest waste of my 2 hours. Still in pain and issue not solved. Dr needs manners and patient bedside manor skills. Total time was in there 1 h54, not 15 min. I wish I read the review prior to going to this clinic, I have a feeling the same negative comments are about the femal Dr I saw today, all express the same condescending and no bedside manner. It was a terrible feeling and experience and I have never, in 44 years left a doctors office in tears. With over 20 complaints about a female doctor I think maybe some investigation should be done on the clinics part. Please inform this Dr that 8/10 times a UTI/bladder infection isn’t detected in tests, and can be effect due to water intake or other things, but when symptoms are present Doctors should really understand negative tests don’t always mean the patient is LYING. If you didn’t learn anything in your 6 years at school google it.... it’s not uncommon. Went to urgent care to see a qualified Dr and found out there was an infection and new medicine given for a solution. Maybe your Dr should be taught humanity and ethics. I will be telling everyone about this clinic that’s how bad I thought it was. The only saving grace is the secretary and nurse. Thank goodness for their smiles because I almost got up and walked out on robot doctor!

I went for a work incident and I was charged $20 for a doctors note to later find out that they shouldn’t have charged me since it’s a WSIB claim and should have been covered. Lost $20 for no reason. Doctor was quick to provide a prescription for medication that costs extra money when it was basically the same as Tylenol. It’s awkward waiting with the on site nurse for them to get a phone call from a doctor on a screen.

Go here if you just need antibiotics or something quick. Wait time is quick but as soon as I left the care was left unfinished. I did blood work and the doctor never followed up with abnormal results and when I called back and asked for an interpretation and for them to send the results to my doctor not only did they say I would have to come and pick up the bloodwork in person. They also blamed me for not asking to CC my family doctor ahead of time. They say they ask for a family doctor which they do and I provided but they don't ask if you want them to be CC'd. When I explained thats absurd to expect me to know because I'm a patient and I didn't know I would have abnormal results unrelated to the testing that I went in for-the nurse co-ordinator hung up the phone on me. Terrible experience. Not sure how to move forward from this.

It's as the description says. Efficient. In and out in 15mins. Pharmacy on site just as quick AND they reimburse your parking fee if you take a prescription out. We filled in our info, saw a nurse, a Dr. came on screen with us, gave us a prescription and off we went. Fastest experience I've ever had with a walk in. Very clean. ????

The staff at MyDoctor Now are all incredibly kind and friendly. The office is clean and they can typically take walk ins, but will do their best to redirect you elsewhere if they are unable. There are two doctors that you can see; one who is very much an "in and out" type, and the other who is fairly chatty. They are both very nice so it simply depends on your preference. The nurses are exceptional and have been very patient with me as I've returned multiple times for recurrent issues. The primary reasons for a 4 star review is that I've often had to wait for up to an hour to see a doctor, so it isn't always as quick as advertised. Also, their operation times simply won't work for people who work standard 9-5 weekday shifts. Overall, I've had very positive experiences at MyDoctor Now.

I dont usually leave bad reviews but this place is not a place an international student with uhip can feel welcomed. The lady at the front desk asked for my uhip I gave it to her, because she doesn't know how uhip works or asking someone else for clarification for medical visits she turned me away and said she couldn't assist me, instead of going before the two people I came before I went last and had to wait over an hour just to get written prescription. I'm so disappointed at how they treated me here

First of all, their wait time was not "15 minutes or less" but it was still speedy compared to standard waiting rooms. They're able to do this by having their doctors video call into the exam room. When I got to the waiting room, the nurse asked me some basic screening questions. She then called the doctor, gave him a very quick overview of my problems. The doctor didn't even ask me any questions and diagnosed me in 2 seconds and hung up. This experience was so abrupt that I had to go to my own family physician because I needed a second opinion. I didn't enjoy my experience and don't think video calling is a good way to interact with patients.

It is a telehealth clinic. The nurse will take some information and do some tests and the doctor will pop up on a video chat for less than 30 seconds. Seems like more of a business than a clinic to me.

We came here specifically because of the advertised quick service - the sign outside advertises 15-minute wait times. We were told the wait would be one hour - far longer than advertised. The actual wait was 95 minutes. One does not expect to always wait only 15 minutes, but with an advertised wait time of 15 minutes, a 1.5+ hour wait is not a reasonable expectation. During the visit, a communication breakdown between the nurse and the physician resulted in a prescription of a steroid nasal spray for a patient with no nasal congestion and audible issues in all four lung lobes. The nurse was excellent and very thorough. The physician's bedside manner could be improved by avoiding the repeated use of the phrase "do as I say" and by expanding the interaction beyond a monologue with a few pointed questions. A brief dialogue reconfirming the symptoms would have resolved the aforementioned communication breakdown. It was difficult to get a word in edgewise to address that breakdown, and at one point I had to resort to talking over the physician, and I felt rude for needing to do so. The physician prescribed two inhalers, with no instructions regarding the correct order in which to use them. The nurse advised that we should ask the pharmacist about that. Prior to the physician consultation we advised the nurse that previous blood work had been done. The nurse confirmed that the blood work results were back. The physician did not discuss the blood work results and offered no opportunity to do so. I think that this clinic could be appropriate for very straightforward issues at low-intensity hours when wait times are closer to the advertised wait time. For the wait time that we experienced on a Saturday, our time would have been better spent at a clinic with in-person physician consultations. I hope this review will be helpful to clinic management as they review their processes for managing predictable high-intensity times (e.g. weekends) and as they conduct ongoing review of their roster of affiliated physicians. Telemedicine, by virtue of lack of physical presence, requires physicians with exceptionally good bedside manner to be successful.

I’ve been having a constant slight fever for a couple of days. I walked in while it was raining so my forehead was colder than it was at home. After I sat down, the nurse only measured the temperature of my forehead (without measuring my armpit and tongue) and told me I don’t have a fever. The doctor over the television screen only talked to me for 30 seconds and closed the comera on her side without asking me if I have any questions or concerns. I don’t like this place, I don’t recommend anyone else to go.

I have had no problem with getting my perscriptions through my Dr now..but i would still like to have my own Dr that i really havent had since my Dr closed her pactice almost 2 and a half yrs ago.. i dont understand the shortage here in ontario.

Staff and nurses were great, wait time was short, however I am very disappointed with the doctor. When she showed up on the screen the first thing she said was "I want to see the rash". No "hello, my name is..." or "how are you today?". It might as well have been a robot. After about a minute the doctor disappeared from the screen without warning and without asking if we had any questions. I didn't know if she was going to come back and when I asked a question to the nurse she informed that she didn't know and that would have been a question for the doctor. I truly believe that this technological approach to heath care (doctor on video) has great possibilities, however the etiquette of video conferencing cannot be forgotten. I bet that this doctor doesn't forget about these basic things with the patients of her own practice.

No doctors on site here. Two people ahead of me and a 1 hr wait. Doctor literally rolled his eyes at me (via the screen) three times and scoffed when I spoke, it was wildly unprofessional. Was impossible to properly make eye contact or communicate with him to begin with, and he said “well, I’m obviously not there, so, I can’t help you...” WTF?! THEN MAYBE THIS SYSTEM DOESN’T WORK?!?! Pass!!! Go somewhere else, this is not an appropriate method to help anyone needing medical assistance. I’m shocked by the positive reviews here and inclined to think they’re fake.

Although I've never met Dr. Seidman in person I feel that she's provided the most thorough and greatest quality of care that I've ever received by any doctor in my entire life. Dr. Seidman is kind and compassionate and takes the time to listen to the issues or problems that I'm seeking treatment for and most of all she is absolutely brilliant. She knows her stuff and makes thoughtful recommendations, taking the time to explain different options including pros and cons of each which makes me feel comfortable and confident with the treatment plans. The nurses are all kind and knowledgeable and the front desk staff (namely Jessica) is incredible. I feel lucky to have the option of MyDoctor Now! THANK YOU!!!

It is a telemedicine service. You will be interviewed and examined with a nurse who might be that not expert in examination. Then you will be connect with a doctor ( Nancy Ibrahim ) who even not that proffessional to interduce herself or greet you for just 30 seconds. Time of waiting was not that short. The diagnosis would not so accurate in this way of practice. Nurse and staff were friendly and nice though.

Asked for a follow up to rule out diabetes and kidney disease before I started taking high blood pressure medication. Asked why didn't ask for these while i was there. I hadn't researched the medication yet because once I was rushed out the door with "I have another client, it is what the doctor prescribed." This morning (Saturday) I went to the Warncliffe Rd location at 9am, only to find it closed. The Google page incorrectly lists the Saturday opening time as 9am (see attached photo). While waiting, another person arrived, and said that she had read the opening time on Google too. I was the first person in the clinic when it opened at 10am. When I began to check in with the receptionist, the first thing she began to tell me, while holding up a brochure, is that they "do things differently here". She described that there's no doctor physically present, and my examination and consultation would be done by a nurse, and then a doctor would call in over a computer screen. I didn't realize that this is the whole premise of the clinic. I asked if the other location had a doctor physically present that I could see, and the receptionist told me yes. I then repeated the question and confirmed with her that if I left, and went to the other location, I would see a doctor and it would not be over a screen and she said yes again, so I immediately left and went to the Dundas location. I walked into the Dundas waiting room which had multiple people waiting, and the receptionist greeted me and proceeded to hold up the same brochure and began to explain that there is no doctor present! I couldn't believe it! The receptionist was very nice and friendly when I explained to her what had happened at the other location, and how I was told I could come to the Dundas location to physically see a doctor. Her explanation was that she thinks the other receptionist is young and new, and didn't know what she was talking about. Overall, it was incredibly frustrating as I then had an hour wait at the Dundas clinic, when in reality, I could have stayed at the first location (after already waiting an hour due to the incorrect opening hours posted), and could have been the first patient seen. The only thing that made it better was how apologetic and friendly the receptionist was at the Dundas location. If you don't mind there being no doctor, then this clinic is an option to be seen quickly, however I prefer to be seen by an actual doctor, and would not go back primarily for this reason.

Absolute worst walk in experience I have ever had. Receptionist was very nice but everything else was horrible. The doctor talks so fast and doesn't give the patient an opportunity to even speak or ask questions. Once she/he is done talking (for a whopping 20 seconds maybe) they abruptly hang up...it's like not even having a doctor there. I was there to be tested for strep throat and have had white spots in my throat for 3 days now and I asked her why she was saying it wasn't strep if there were white spots (I have had strep many many times and know the symptoms) and she said there weren't any white spots. However, I checked right before my appointment and they were there and immediately when I got in my car and they were there!!! She didn't even look in my throat with a light to check, just simply "looked" when she was swabbing it.

Nurses here are very kind and helpful, so was the receptionist. I had a female doctor, forgot her name but I found her very rude. It seemed like she was trying to get me out of the room quickly and basically told me that I should not come to a doctor for the symptoms I have. I waited 15 minutes in the patient room to connect with the doctor. Definitely not coming here again just to have a doctor tell me I’m overreacting when I was seriously concerned about my health. I made an appointment for two specific vaccines, both of which the receptionist said they had on site at the Wharncliffe location. I live far and do not have a vehicle, so it took me 45 minutes to get to this clinic. Once seen by the doctor, I am informed that they actually do not have one of the vaccines I needed (for a job, no less) and that I should go to another clinic. In total, this trip wasted 2 hours of my life. Your receptionists are clearly ignorant about what services you do and do not provide, and you need to fix that.

I went to this place on Saturday, the staff were really nice, specially the nurse. But it took for ever for them to connect to wifi, the Doctors wouldn't respond to nurses message, and after that they finally got connected, the doctor just started asking questions without even saying hi. I am e dentist my self I know that we should respect our patients and saying hi is the least thing that we can do. Also, a doctor should be able to see the patient in person. A nurse is not supposed to what a doctor must do. They are not trained to do that. A doctor spends at least 7,8 years to become one, with such a hard process so how can nurse do diagnosis? Medicine is not about just asking questions. You should see your patient yourself. Skype is not an answer. Also the doctor was like, ok do you cough, blah blah, and she just hung up. No goodbye no, no nothing

Kind and professional doctor and staff. I strongly believe all the staff here work very hard to provide care. I would suggest using this service if you need a prescription refill or referral. However, I would advise against this service if you don't know the cause of your concern. I was unnecessarily put on 14 days of antibiotics for ear pain told it was an ear infection (later to find from a different clinic/ different doctor after examination in person) that I was experiencing pain due to allergies. I consulted many clinics prior (during the lockdown) to find someone that would see me in person, with no luck I trusted my doctor now as the next best option. telemedicine is a blessing during these tough times but be careful as it is certainly not a substitute to seeing a doctor in person and has its limitations.

I would not go here for anything more serious than a doctor's note. Staff is quite unprofessional. The trade off for having a video call with a doctor (there are no doctors on site) is supposed to be a short wait time, but I waited for about 2 hours to see a nurse and chatted with a doctor for about 30 seconds. They were having issues with their internet, so my conversation with the doctor was on someone's cellphone. The nurse I saw (who didn't introduce herself) was sullen and visibly annoyed with me by the end of my 5 minute appointment. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. Edit: I think it is extremely telling that the only part of this review the owner is choosing to respond to is the technical difficulties they were experiencing that day. For clarity, I would not have been bothered by this work around had I not been waiting for two hours and if the staff had been professional. I think it was the combination of the long wait time and how miserable the nurse was that spurred this one star review, not the work around.

first things first there is NO real doctor present, it just nurses who “video-call” a doctor which is the dumbest thing I’ve seen thus far if you want to hear a doctor prescribe you medication without physically examining you why not just call there are over the phone doctors the reason we go to clinics is to see a physical doctor present... or might as well “google your symptoms” side note: I didn’t not see ANY advertisement anywhere that there is no physical doctor until I got there the nurse informed me. All that aside, I found the doctor to be very very rude and seemed like she has no idea what she was talking about and extremely unprofessional it looked like she has just gotten out of bed, If you care about your health go to a real clinic with real doctors and don’t waste your time or money here.

Had used this service in person when they had their location on Dundas St in 2019. Had a very kind nurse and the doctor was ok too. Used their online booking late 2020 and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of talking to the doctor on the phone. I've recommended their services many times due to this during the pandemic. I am due for a prescription refill again so I called on a monday. Automated phone had me go through the whole process. I was on hold for about 20 minutes before I started searching for other ways to speak to someone and saw your hours. I would have hoped your automated phone service would have your hours as a courtesy instead of just putting me on hold as caller number 1. Instead I decided I'd book an appointment online for Tuesday. No matter what options you pick, or which day you pick it on, it says that service is unavailable. If its unavailable why do you list it as one of your two options? I tried calling back again Tuesday and got "2UT1 all circuits are busy please try again later" got through after about 10 times and got put into the wait list. Waited for 20 minutes again, got up to caller #6 and then your automated hold switched me to a busy signal and ended the call on me. Tried to call back again only to recieve the 2UT1 message again. Incredibly frustrating. I'm very mindful that everything is busier and more backed up due to this pandemic, but your online and phone services need to better reflect the same care one can receive in person.

MyDoctor Now is a telemedicine clinic, meaning there are no doctors on site. This means that if the telemedicine network fails, they have to close the clinic or all patients will be transferred to the only doctor willing to practice via WhatsApp. This happened on my second of two visits I’ve made to the clinic in the last week. At MyDoctor Now, I was seen quickly and had a positive experience with reception and the nurses on site. My experience with the doctor both times was quick to an extreme (under a minute) with no questions asked and no examination done beyond taking my blood pressure and heart rate. I would recommend MyDoctor Now if you know what you need and would like to be seen quickly. If you are concerned about something unknown that isn’t an emergency but might require a more detailed, hands-on examination, I would recommend going to a regular walk-in clinic.
