This Doctor is classified in the category of Public medical center.
One of the staff member is very rude .Even charging for money for a little paper work.i am very disappointed with their staff member.
Staff is very rude and try to feel that everything is patient's mistake. Will not recomend it at all.
Nice New building lot's of parking and an elevator never have to wait long when I go to the after hours clinic
Not sure what’s the level of care they do there, have been truing to contact with no luck ! What’s the standard they deliver.
Bad service they didn't follow up
They tend to be on the rude side. I waited one hour for my appt and Dr. Tai just rushed through and after 1 min he told me to come back on another day because he was too busy and behind and it was walkin clinic hours. I didn’t request that day in particular; it was given to me. He is always in a rush and walks out on you. He is knowledgeable but need to work on his bedside manners.
The reason am writing this Google dont have 0 stars I’ve been calling since 3 months to book an appointment as my mom’s cancer doctor said after she was admitted in the hospital 6 times.. And yet no sign from her family doctor even tho i tried to reach … I’ve been giving an appointment end of the year This is the worst experience i had with any staff in my life and i came from Sudan. Dr.Bakeer
This is the more disorganized practice I have ever been to. I was scheduled for a meet and greet with Dr. Atta. I had to take time off work and drive in from Woodstock (this is where I work). When I arrived, they told me that my appointment was never scheduled , so I wasted my time and gas. The receptionist asked me to take a seat and she will try to squeeze me in. I was very annoyed and frankly, did not want anything to do with this practice. I got up and requested my health card back, and the receptionist kept insisting that she was trying to help, which at this point meant nothing to me. I requested my health card again and she couldn't find it. Her desk was a mess of papers from other patients I am assuming. I couldn't believe it. She was laughing while trying to find it, which I did not find amusing at all. She then mentioned that it was possible that she handed my health card to another patient that she had helped after me. She said this so matter of factly that it makes me believe as if this is normal practice at this place. She then began to insinuate that I should leave (without my health card) and whoever had it would eventually return it. She basically wanted me to leave just because she felt uncomfortable. I said no, I am not leaving without my health card. She finally went back and got it for me, but overall, horrible service.
They do not respect appointment times and you will have to wait long time after the appointment time or reschedule it. Unfortunately It happened to me multiple times. When I asked them the reason behind it they answered very rude that we are busy and we have too many patients. At least do not be rude and apologize when you waste the patient time. You made the mistake by scheduling too many appointments not the patient.
Bad experience with this center specially with dr Nasir very difficult get hold of her (my family doctor ) And blamed me if I visit any walk-in clinic .
Dr. Ardelene is a wonderful Peditrician. She is very thorough, she listens to parents input and concerns, makes appropriate referrals when needed and offers treatment when required instead of the usual "it's just a virus" answer than many others fall back on when your child is ill and they really dont know why. We are very thankful that our children have her as their Doctor.
Would give 0 if possible. My elderly mother had an appointment in Stratford for a CT scan and MRI; however when she arrived (from London) she found out Haggag didn't send the requisition form. When she called the office the receptionist was rude to her and said that she would not send as Haggag was out of the office on vacation. My mother has serious health issues and really needed these checks in order to help start addressing the issues.
New building for a good doctor
I see two physicians here, GP Dr. Nasir and Specialist, Dr. Barrett. Dr. Nasir was good enough to take me when I had trouble in finding a new family physician after mine retired. She is busy, however, she works to always find the time to explain issues and look for solutions and is conscientious. Usually there are not long waiting times for appointments, and she will refill scripts when you need them, and often she will not require a "visit", which most GPs do, to collect their fee. She'll phone them in without inconveniencing the patient. Dr. Barrett who is an endocrinologist, is an excellent physician, she's young, but she is well trained and is extremely conscientious and dedicated. I have gone to the afterhours walk-in as well, and I have had good treatment there. I recommend this clinic.
Clean building with everything you need relating to personal care. Not very accessible for people that don't drive.
I have been going to see Dr. Bakeer since 2012. She was still on Richmond St. She seemed to be very caring and dedicated to my health. Since she’s now with another bunch of doctors at ActiceCare. Everything is horrific from the staff to wait times. One star was as low as I could go, otherwise it would be zero. She has four children and works 2 days a week. I can’t believe the lack of professionalism, compassion, understanding and correct diagnostic skills. Mentioned the “C” word and then walks out of the examination room without any follow up appointments??? I wouldn’t recommend this doctor or any others from this office. Money is the only patient. Go elsewhere please!
These doctors are the bomb! Don't listen to the haters! Lovely people and reasonable wait times.
Clinic is nice...lots of doctors have chambers here...
Worst walk-in clinic, please save your time. My family and I have always had horrible wait times, and they rush you regardless of how long you've waited. Took my mother to get her symptoms checked, Dr. Bakeer brushed it off and we had to take her to the emerg after. This is not the first time we've had a misdiagnosis from this clinic.
Giving a 1 star because I can not go lower. Receptionist is rude! Wait time is insane usually I wait 2 hours. The only family dr i had that doesn't take blood pressure when visiting. Wait 2 weeks to see him order test wait 2 more weeks to get in for results. I had them mess up my brithdate and mix my file with someone else . I ended up just droping the dr I had and having no dr is better then one who doesn't care about your well being. He gets paid if he helps me or not. I once waited 2 hours to be seen my apointment was for 10am I got in at 1155! Just to be rushed out because his lunch date was there my issue was not even addressed .
Dr. Bakeer is my family doctor for the last year, She is incredible, makes time and even goes us over and beyond calling / coming in after hours to help. I can always get in ASAP and no long wait times. She’s incredible I can’t speak any highly of her. Reading these reviews has me scraping my head because I’ve never had any bad experiences or rude receptionist / nurses. I will forever stay with them.
YOU CANNOT get an appt. We will be firing this place as our family doctor.
I have been seeing Dr. Rrafshi for a few years and I find the staff here pleasant and accommodating.
Trying to get them to refill prescriptions is like pulling teeth
Doctor Luli Rrafshi is the best, most thoughtful GP I have ever had, and everyone there is very professional and polite. Unfortunately, their communications system is completely overwhelmed. There's no text or email option for booking appointments, and the voice menu clearly states that the only messages that get read, are appointment cancellations. It usually takes me at least a couple of days of continually auto-dialling the office to reach a receptionist. Recent prescription refills have taken weeks rather than days to get approved, and that was with the pharmacist appealing on our behalf.
My doctor "Rafshi" has been in this facility since it was built. One of the best bright and compassionate docs around. The facility is now full service with specialists, lab and drug store. Lots of parking also
The worst clinic I have ever been.
Dr Alija is one of the best out there. Very reasonable and kind.
Worst customer service. very rude people, feel rushed every time i go there.
If I could give zero stars I would. Incredibly long wait times and they have no respect for phone appointments. I had a phone appointment at 10:00am and I had to call twice just for them to tell me that phone appointments are unscheduled and they call whenever the doctor's free. It's ridiculous especially during a pandemic. Do better.
Very busy clinic
Very Caring
a bit of a good advise.. avoid doctor H Nasir, she was my family doctor for 2 years... she is very rude and arrogant, does not listen to you because is too busy attending 1000 other patients. you only have 15 minutes of time and have to answer her questions first and let her write every single one on the computer...but she will never remember who you are..so when you get back to see her even for the same issue over and over...then again, you have to explain every detail and remember there is only 15 minutes of time for the whole thing...this happened every single time we saw her. I was so glad when I finally found a good doctor somewhere else. I tought these would never end with dr Nasir. so frustrating and terrible experience there. not good. not at all!
Dr Bakeer is one of the best physicians in the clinic.
In order to book an appointment you have to call and call and call until someone picks up. You cannot leave a message and there is no online booking tool. On average I need to spend about 45-60 minutes calling repeatedly to try and get through. Accessing medical help should not feel like you're trying to win a radio contest. I hope they improve the way patients book appointments. Ex. Allow patients to leave messages.
I have been trying to get Dr. Alijah to refill my Ad/Hd medication for a month. I ran out. My pharmacist has sent several fax requests and I have tried to reach him many times. He just doesn't answer anybody. Very poor doctor! My head is hurting and my emotions are running wild.
This clinic is horrible. My family doctor (Dr.Nasir) is one of the worst experiences in my life btw I went to university twice in 2 different countries and had to deal with some bad experiences in my life there lol. But this is the worst of all time easily deserved to be the top of my list. And it's just so sad when my friends and coworkers talk about their own family doctors and the way they get treated. The only thing is good about this is the building and probably that's why I gave 1 star because I can't give a half a star. Everything else is just ..... I am just trying to find the right words without being rude to explain it but I really can't but after looking at the people reviews and comments here, now I know I am not the only one who experienced that.
Had to wait 3 weeks to find an appointment with my family doctor there.. so a week later i went to their walk in and waited for 3 hours but got everything done.. longest wait ever. Fast forward 2 weeks later, i called to cancel my appointment that was booked earlier (just because i respect their time, although they dont bother to confirm appointments) and to ask them to email my old physical therapy perscription (for insurance purposes) but they refused saying that they dnt mail out anything due to cutbacks. I asked her to email it (it is free!!) But she said no and the only way she could help was to print it and keep it at the office and i could pick it up. I told her it was a 40 min drive (back and forth).. and she said that was the only way she could do it and asked to bring my health card along. I asked her if she will swipe it, and she said yes.. even though i was not gonna see the doctor!!
