Avoid this company at all costs for any kind of servicing needs. The tech showed up 4 hours late, when I called I was told " hopefully he shows up" Tech showed up, did not have any of the parts, and told me someone would come back on the following Tuesday. Nobody showed up, had to call again, to be told that they need to send me a quote. The quote never came, followed up by email, no answer. Very unprofessional company that will make you waste your time. Do yourself a favor, and do not contact Door Doctor.

Well they showed up at 1.00pm and no call. The two individuals were rude and saying my springs weee no good and I needed the whole garage system adjusted and it would cost over 300.00. Good looking door.The installation was made during one of the coldest day in winter in less than a day! The range totally sucked though and initially I thought it was because I kept my old motor but thanks to youtube, I was able to extend the range myself in less than an hour. I really tried to fix this relationship however there is nothing to be done. I figured I would pay their Premium Pricing (because it was literally 2 times more expensive than going anywhere else) for great after sale service but I was extremely wrong. Let me take you back: I order the RED Garage door opener with the Double lights and explain where I want the Keypad to open it. They install the entry level model that looks like it came straight out of the garbage from the 1980s and misplace the keypad. They tried to convince me that it is better this way. I said I do not care how much more it is I want the better one. He said call him after the winter and they will come change it. I have literally been chasing them for months, they never return calls until they finally say: There is nothing to do, go elsewhere. After I told them I would even PAY more to upgrade the model. It isn’t my fault they messed up AND I was willing to pay and they just wanted to brush me away, not even showing an ounce of willing to help. Never came to fix the location of my Keypad either and now I’m stuck spending 4X the price to finally get what I wanted in the first place elsewhere. Truly Disappointed - would NEVER recommend. Save yourselves the headache and loss of money. Ok

I have had a two new garage doors installed in 2014... One door the motor does not open. When I called for a repair the serviceman was rude and dismissive. He promised to return the following day to repair the door. Days later, he never showed up I called the company and they said that they would have to send me a quote... 2 weeks later still have not heard from the company.... The great serviceman, John who they sent was not only very professional and knowledgeable but he also had a good sense of humor to boot. The door was fixed quickly and now works perfectly. When I called the service department wanting to change my garage door opener for a new belt driven one, I was given an appointment for a Saturday morning between 8 and noon. When I asked the lady how much the door opener was she told me it ranged between 500 and 900 dollars. I asked for the price on a specific model and she told me not to worry the technician will have all models on the truck. I found this really curious. Don’t see how a technician would have all models of the door openers in the truck. So now here we are Saturday 1:00 PM and still no technician. When I called them back she said my appointment was cancelled. If I never canceled the appointment I asked her who cancelled. She told me it must have been your wife. Very curious how she assumes I was married. Would never use these joke of a company again. Guess I will go elsewhere and actually get some service. Would have given 0 stars if I could. All I would say is get someone who knows what they are doing to answer the phone in the device department. Clearly the women who took my call did not. Update: Dor Doctor really stepped up to the plate and righted the wrong. They were really generous after all the misunderstanding. Very classy company who has upheld their reputation in my book. Would definitely recommend!!!

I made the big mistake of not looking at google reviews before hiring door doctor. John gave me a quote for 250 to fix a lousy belt and clamp. I wasn't able to be home when he came and he charged my wife 350! I called him to notify him of the error and all I got was attitude. This is aside for the fact that he came two days later than he said he was going to come. I strongly do not recommend using this company.

I found the services provided by Dor Docteur on Cote de Liesse in Montreal excellent. They replaced my old wooden garage door with not only a new very well insulated secure door with opener, but they removed and completely replaced all of the rails and springs etc. Everything was brand new and at a very reasonable cost. On the day they were doing the work, impressed neighbours dropped by enquiring about having their homes done too. iI've been in touch with them recently to add an external keypad to operate the door and they were very helpful. I give Door Doctor my highest recommendation, and I'm hard to impress. /Max

Had an issue with the seal on my garage doors and called Dor Doctor in July . They came to our house and fixed both doors. Jonathan inspected my openers at my request and said I would need to replace them .sure enough , 2 months later, one died. I called Dor Doctor and Jonathan came again -on time , explained clearly my options, we made a decision,he came the NEXT morning , replaced both openers and was gone by noon. Premièrement il ne ce presente pas au rdv ce qui me fait perdre 3h de mon temps (voyagement) , n a même pas pris le temps de m appeler pour m aviser, j ai du faire des demarches pour le contacter . Il fait des erreur sur la soumission, j envoie e mail pour lui mentionner des modifications a la commande et il ne me contact même pas pour m aviser qu il s'occupe des changements que j'ai demandé.

The salesman arrived on the scheduled date and time, delivery date was honored and the young men who came to install the doors, arrived right on time and were two of the most professional and pleasant workers we have had work in our home in over 40 years!!! Extremely poor communication.. have been told on 3 separate occasions the parts are on Back order.. Do not recommend this vendor for repairs.
