I just tried to call my doctor - who does his job very well - to make an appointment without success! I let it ring about twenty times before hanging up. There doesn't even seem to be a voicemail ... Therefore, I cannot have my condition followed up with my doctor because the telephone customer service system is VERY BAD. In saying this, I am not blaming the receptionists. I put a star because it is the only way to send my message but I would have preferred not to be able to put any! Pandémie ou pas, il n'est pas normal, de nos jours, de ne pas pouvoir parler à quelqu'un après PLUSIEURS jours à essayer. Il n'est pas normal, non plus, de ne pas pouvoir laisser, au moins, un message vocal. Je viens d'essayer de rappeler mon médecin - qui fait très bien son travail - pour prendre un rdv sans succès ! J'ai laissé sonner une vingtaine de fois avant de raccrocher. Il semble ne même plus y avoir de boite vocale... Je ne peux donc pas avoir de suivi de ma condition avec mon médecin parce que le système téléphonique de service aux clients est TRÈS MAUVAIS. En affirmant cela, je ne jette pas la faute sur les réceptionnistes. J'ai mis une étoile parce que c'est le seul moyen pour envoyer mon message mais j'aurai préféré ne pouvoir en mettre aucune !

I received my requisite form in the mail, and was angered to notice that instead of them using an address label with my name on it, they instead used a filing label. The filing label had my phone number, date of birth and MEDICARE file number on it, as well as the usual name and address. By placing my private info on the envelope, anyone who came into contact with that envelope could have stolen my private information and used it to get medication, sold the info, and quite possibly affect my own medical care! This reeks of incompetence, laziness and the lack of professionalism in securing their patient's private information. My doctor will get an earful, when I speak to her!!!

Incredible experience every time! The secretarial staff is incredibly kind. They are organized every time I go in. Dr. Negrete is caring, professional and clearly experienced. I leave the office feeling relieved and listened to.

Dr. Kerner just moved her practice here and I spoke to them today, they only book 2 months ahead of time and her schedule is completely booked up so they cannot make me an appointment. The receptionist said she had to go day to day to look for cancellations and I could call back next week to see if spots in September were opened up. Most doctors book farther than 2 months ahead, and there are many booking softwares available than can automate finding open cancellation spots. It may be worth looking into upgrading the booking system. I never had these problems at the Greene Ave clinic. Very disappointing.

I love my doctor but she's on maternity so the wait time for in person appointment is AWFUL! Also they NEVER answer their phones when you call. It's always a long automated attendant telling you to press a billion numbers before being sent to voicemail.The only pro is that the staff is really nice!

Very disappointing. Waited almost 2 years for a doctor and this clinic, like another poster said has a dysfunctional telephone service. FIrst you get private on call display, so I had no idea who it was, so after I listened to message I tried to get hold of a real person at the clinic but all I got was an answering machine sometimes it gave you a chance to leave a message other times it didn't. This started on Thursday and by Monday I phoned the Family Doctor Services asking for another clinic that had a better telephone service system and was told this was only clinic taking new patients. And she would email them, too bad this clinic didn't have a similar system of making an appointment the way Benny Farm has for flu shots anyway I did get a call when I was in the shower and phoned back and same thing, super long message on answering machine and at end no where to even leave a message. I am much better off at the walk in clinic I usually go to. If they had the clinic name on display like my old Doctor's office had and the walk in clinic has it would make a big difference in quality of experience for patient. I don't know what they are talking about blocking their number. If it was blocked I would'nt have gotten their message. I can't believe they needed to make this so hard and it should be a red flag that their system needs improvement. And the angry tone in the reply on this app was upsetting too. I thought sooner or later I would get a real person answering the phone that I could introduce myself to, including correct prefix, but never did happen. This is Canada not a third world country. They must know there are many times in the day people can't answer the phone and they will phone back assuming the office has a functional service to answer incoming phone calls, not just ability to make outgoing calls and expect people are available to answer a random call with private on the display screen any time of day the clinic decides to phone. I really miss my old doctor in BC. Putting my first name on their public reply in a round about way is something my old doctor's office would have never done, they were a lot more soohisticated. You can see why they get rated 1 sometimes but in my case rating 0 would be closer to the truth since that is how they make you feel. This thing about married women feeling they have higher status than unmarried women, so they want to be called Mrs. but that is not a generic prefix like Madame might be. Arguing with women over things men don't have to argue over is a step backwards, IMO. The women from the family doctor list talking down to you like there is no choice, then you get a form and a letter in the mail saying if you don't go to this clinic you will be suspended from the list and you will have to sign up again. If you look further down on these reviews someone else said the phone service was terrible and it got 6 likes. Maybe acquiring 1,000 new patients, minus me, requires an increase in actual phone service capacity or obviously some patients will be falling through the cracks and will have access to a family doctor on paper only IMO. Adding the intimidating aspect of not knowing who is phoning you and then having the prefix of your name wrong, as if it didn't matter also feels dehumanizing when having to explain why it matters to know who is phoning you before you answer. Should registering for a certain doctor remain a matter of personal and informed choice? HOPE SO.

I want to be honest based on what happened to me , i went couple of times for my self and for my kids , i was lucky to have family doctor are really very nice and very very friendly, they are the best . Helpful, kind , and follows up even after the visit , but my reason to give two stars for that place not coz of the doctors or the nurses, BUT because of the reception girls , really they are the worst ever ever ever receptionist in ever saw in my life , first they say hello bonjour , can i help you , and that is will never happen coz they don’t want even to smile to the customer. Anyway I received letter from Canada revenue asking me confirmation of residence in quebec for me and my kids by many documents such as letter from school , daycare , and family doctor. Letter confirmed that my kids going to school or they visited the family doctor, is it simple request , when i asked the school in same moment I received, as well as the day care and my landlord also , Now it is almost one week I requested the clinc and they didn’t finish it , and all i hear is ( when it finish we will call u ) I explained to then that i have to send in specific date which is first week in April and i wanna send before that incase any mistake or wrong documents i sent so will be some days i can resend it again otherwise they will stop my child benefits. But still again and again all what i got even not nicely way is ( when it will be ready we will call u ) . And iam still waiting that call . I really wish from the owner who hire professional and kind and nice doctors and nurses , they have to look at their reception attitude as well , they have to be sure the reception doing well and trying to help and nice with people , Reception is the front face of the clinic, the first impression. The reception ladies always have a personal conversation when I get in, and make sure that they finish it before they serve me. I find it very unprofessional and rude. The nurse I spoke too on the phone was extremely disrespectful in her tone of voice and demeanour. She did not have to insult me directly that I felt insulted just in the way she spoke to me. I waited 2 years to have a family doctor and once I got him, he did not prescribed me the right dosage for my problem. I had to come back and he was away, so another doctor prescribed the double dosage that I needed. I am very uncertain about the professionalism of this clinique. I guess it is a miss or hit.

You try to book at 7:30pm sharp and you are sure to get the "There are currently no appointments available". If they run a walk-in clinic why is it apparently impossible to get an appointment? My Dr in this clinic is a rare gem... he actually takes the time to listen to you. So for those that complain on the long waits, just remember, when it's your turn to see the Doc, you want him/her to take as much time as the dozens of patients before you. Thanks for reading

This place has the worst service I have ever seen. Ask for results of anything you have done IMMEDIATLY! I had carpal tunnel tests and want the results for my surgeon and they will not give them to me even though I am allowed by LAW to have my medical records. They are on a power trip and want me to go wait in emergency where I got my first referral for the doctor to give me a letter asking for my records. this is illegal. If you want power tripping staff looking after you good luck. I am not the only person to have this problem, my friend had the same difficulty with them. Good luck.

When you call, there is a long message that lists the different options, including leaving a message in the voicemail mailbox of the doctor you are trying to reach, but this option does not work. When you get to the end of the message all you get is "We can't answer you at this time", which is a totally illogical response for a voicemail box. And there is NEVER the ability to talk to a person. Obviously, the phone system is not suited to the amount of clients in the clinic and the managers don't care, knowing full well that we are at the mercy of the health care system and we cannot do it. to go elsewhere. And when you show up in person, the service isn't much better. The receptionists are not friendly, they chat with each other before answering you and they clearly make you feel that you are disturbing them. A smile? Don't even think about it! The only positive point in all this does not concern the clinic, but my doctor! She is fantastic and leaves nothing to chance, she quickly calls back when she receives blood test results, and makes an emergency appointment when she deems it necessary. During telephone meetings, she is always precise in her questions and she explains the situation well when necessary. I repeat, she is fantastic. I also had excellent service from a nurse practitioner in the absence of my doctor, I emphasize his professionalism. Et il n'y a JAMAIS la possibilité de parler à une personne. De toute évidence, le système téléphonique n'est pas adapté à la quantité de clients de la clinique et les gestionnaires ne s'en préoccupent pas, sachant très bien que nous sommes à la merci du système de santé et qu'il nous est impossible d'aller ailleurs. Et quand on se présente en personne, le service n'est guère meilleur. Les réceptionnistes ne sont pas aimables, elles jasent entre elles avant de vous répondre et elles vous font nettement sentir que vous les dérangez. Un sourire? N'y pensez même pas! Le seul point positif dans tout ça ne concerne pas la clinique, mais bien mon médecin! Elle est fantastique et ne laisse rien au hasard, elle rappelle rapidement quand elle reçoit les résultats des tests sanguins, et donne un rendez-vous en urgence lorsqu'elle le juge nécessaire. Lors des rendez-vous téléphoniques, elle est toujours précise dans ses questions et elle explique bien la situation lorsqu'il le faut. Je le répète, elle est fantastique. J'ai également eu un excellent service de la part d'une infirmière praticienne en l'absence de mon médecin, je souligne son professionnalisme. Alors pour mon médecin et pour l'infirmière praticienne, je donne cinq étoiles, mais je n'en donne aucune pour le reste des services de cette clinique.
