You are almost unable to get anybody on the phone. It is always busy. Once I took it upon myself and drive all the way to the office, as no one hardly answers the phone, I noticed the staff is yapping and the phone receiver lies beside the phone, as the royalty does not want to be bothered by the patients in need to talk. The staff is appalling. If you are seriously sick - you might be in deep trouble with this office. Outright SCARY!

I gave up leaving voicemails . I have never seen a front end reception desk be so incompetent. I saw my saw my daughters specialist April 2018 and I just got my follow up appointment a year later. My pharmacist was so frustrated with this is office . My daughters refills was finished and they needed a new prescription. My pharmacist recommended I see another doctor.

Called their office to confirm an appointment time and the receptionist was just PLAIN RUDE. hung up on me! Horrible people skills.

It's a busy office. As a result, I've learned to expect to be put on hold when I call in. If you are looking for quaint and charming, this might not be the best place for you. They are clinical, efficient, and are noticeably better at being proactive. I find that the doctors listen and are consultative in their approach. I have found that going in well-prepared made a difference. This allows me to quickly get to the point and accurately describe what's happening. This leaves more time for questions and consultation.

Very rude staff - at least the ones I have interacted with. Last time I called, I had called at 9am asking if they had any available appointments to talk to my Dr about a medication refill, and before I could finish, the receptionist rudely interrupted me saying "I can't hear you!" so I apologized and repeated myself, and she sighed VERY LOUDLY and dramatically, and sifted through her appointment calendar I assume, then said all they have is 2pm, and I said that is good and she immediately hung up. Train your staff and get a grip - you're working in a doctors office so maybe stop being so nasty to people just trying to get medical help.

Again ive gone her just yesterday for a rash or whatever this is and yes i got antibiotics and cream but the doctor i got for my walk in didnt wait till i was done talking he just looked at it and then perscribed meds i do have gallstone issues too and if thus rash is related and its almost time im going to be very upset because this place is supposed to be there to help and listen to the patient ive been in and out of doctors offices and hospitals more than ten times now and this is not cool. He didnt even tell me what he thought it was. Oh well im getting fed up with canadas health system aboriginal people are just being left to die just cover them up with pills (btw im already on meds for my gallstones) now they wanna pump me with more meds how about look at the problem not glance at it amd just ignore the patient. I hope this building can turn it around.

I love my doctor but the receptionist is absolutely awful. The phone is always busy whenever you try to call, you have to spend a good hour or two just to get through most days. Yet when you're in the waiting room they're never on the phone? Seems odd for a place that is apparently so busy. I recommend calling in the afternoon if you can wait that long to try to book an appointment, you MIGHT get through. Definitely faster going to a walk in clinic if you need to see a doctor that day. When you are lucky enough to get through to one of them they are rude and impatient, definitely not the type of person who should be working in health care. The only redeeming quality of this establishment is that the doctors themselves are fantastic, very knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions you may have about your health. In short, if you are willing to put up with a terrible receptionist in return for exceptional doctors then I definitely recommend Belmont Family Medicine. If the minor inconvenience of having to deal with the receptionist is too much for you, then perhaps you should change doctors. Because it doesn't seem to be changing any time soon.

Love my doctor, but the service is awful. The only way to get in contact is to call. But, only during business hours, save for the 1-3 hour lunch period that varies from day to day, providing nobody else happens to be calling at that time or else you get the busy signal... oh, and they don't take messages or have an answering machine.

Avoid. Impossible to make an appointment. Busy signals galore, or you get put on hold indefinitely. Good luck if you have a referral and your specialist needs to speak with you doctor - they can't get through! Find somewhere else.

I had to remind them to schedule my MRI, a MRI for Christ sakes... I also showed up for my CT scan for my head and chest just to have the hospital say they only requested my head. So I had to sit and wait at the hospital while they got confirmation that should have been given day one as my chest was first and foremost the problem. I suffer from dizzy spells and chest pains. I requested a doctor's note for a week off instead of losing my job. They said they will speak to the doctor and call me back. It's been two days. For a damn doctors note. Dr.Travis would have never put up with this type of treatment towards his clients. Now Pierce has taken over and spends more time on vacation then in the office. What an absolute joke and total change from the doctor I have known my whole life to this absolute lack of what a doctor should be. Patient first. More like patient huh? Rediculous...

The staff is rude and when you need to them to give more repeat on your med and say get the pharmacist to fax over the request when the office window looks at the pharmacist. They were not willing to get him to say ok fill his meds because they are needed to live.i have thought of a new dr lots of times because the staff is so rude all the time.

The doctor himself is not the problem. The issue is poor reception staff and horrible phone etiquette. I have been trying to call back, as prompted to, to discuss my test results...and I have been calling since the morning and it is now 3pm and still getting a busy signal. If you want your patients to call you back then actually answer your phone or have a separate line directly to the nurse. Or better yet, try email as it is 2019.
