I used to go to Lakewood Medical growing up. They’re a great business but I always hated the fact that when you come as a walk in, you’re left sitting there like you’re waiting in a hospital room. Personally, I don’t have time for that as I have other errands to usually run if I’m going to visit a doctor for something. At Sunshine, I feel like once I’m checked in, I wait only a few minutes (depending on how many doctors are on that day, of course), get seen, and I’m out with my prescription. That’s how it felt today, when I came in feeling yucky and nauseous, amongst other things. I love how fast the service is and how convenient it is as well when I can drop by after work if I need a quick refill on some medication before going home for my day. 5/5 would highly recommend. This is the only office I go to now and have been very satisfied so far.

Thanks to to Dr Letkeman I'm not blind. His timely referral to an ophthalmologist saved my vision. I wish I could say the same about my optometrist but no chance there. The doctor is very thorough, takes his time and is not afraid to order tests. I make an appointment a day or two ahead of time and avoid the wait of walk-in.

New receptionist is very friendly and professional, great attitude and respectful to patients that walk in. Dr. Letkeman is my fam doctor of many years, he takes his time with patients and makes you feel you matter. I’ve seen the other doc as well on occasion when needed, he is very skilled and also takes his time with you. Both male doctors are very good in my opinion, wait times sometimes vary and change, but that’s something outside of their control.

Was told there'd be an approximate 45 minute wait. An hour and a half later, sitting on the super uncomfortable waiting room chairs, I got into a room. I was in and out within 2 minutes. I went in for strep .They had to send the test away, but because I went in on a Friday I may not get the results until MONDAY. Meanwhile I can't swallow and will have to go to another walk in clinic to get the help I need. Today was a waste of time. Will not return. Update: I called back today, 24 hours later to try to get an update on my swab. I ended up hanging up on the receptionist because she was quite rude to me. I ended up going to a different clinic and one look at my throat and they could tell it was strep .I'll probably be almost done my antibiotics by the time I finally get the results from this clinic. Glad I was sent home to get worse instead of getting the help I needed. If I could give a 0 star I definitely would.

Did not get any help from the front staff. Told that a digital copy of out of province health care card was not allowed. They needed a photocopy and told I could not email it either, was told they had to photocopy original. They did not help my three year old, who was ill, in any way. Called four other clinics who said digital copy of health card was fine. Went to nearby clinic (luckily) who helped us, no problem. Concern that if they are uninformed about little things, then what about really important things. Not the type of clinic I would want to go to in Alberta. Or in Manitoba now for that matter.

Had a terrible customer service experience today. A front desk staff so detached from humanity. Signs at the door says open, not yet closing time, I came in before closing time and was told I would not be attended to. The staff showed no sign of consideration for the fact that they gave a false information, totally inhuman in appraoch. No apologies whatsoever, is this service????

Regarding Sunshine Walk- In-Clinic, I have been here several times over the past 6 months each time staff at desk was pleasant and helpful. Wait time for walk in appointment was short. The Doctor was pleasant,and examined me ,prescribed an antibiotic, and phoned my home town drug store and prescribed a different antibiotic which my urinary infection was sensitive to.

Dr. Letkeman has been my doctor for many years. He always listens to see what my issues are. If i need other help with my medical issues he writes to specialist to get to the ball rolling and get all the help i need. He will do everything he can to make sure i get healthy and no underling issues. I had a appointment later in the day but came in early, they took me in , in about 10 mins. I recommend this clinic to anyone.

I've been attending this clinic for a few years now, and switched to Dr Wasef when the female doctor I had seen a few times moved on. I really like Dr Wasef. He is very thorough, and has sent me to a few specialists. This is much different from the care I've received from other doctors at other clinics in the past, so I am very happy with his good care as I get older. I appreciate the location and the hours as well. The receptionists are always very pleasant and helpful. I also had one appointment with Dr Letkeman when Dr Wasef wasn't in the clinic. I also like him, and found him easy to talk to. One thing that could be improved is the canned music when put on hold. Today it was very annoying because the music is on a loop and repeats the same piece of music repeatedly, but you need a varied playlist please. Also the volume is too loud. And there was an annoying noise, sort of crackly - but not quite like static, which sounded over the music. Please check into this. Thank you so much.

I do applaud all the front desk working in this clinic. Working in a front desk job is not only low paying but also very unsupportive from the management. In this "me, me, me" era, it is very complex and challenging for front-line workers to deal with a public who don't appreciate good things until a hammer will mash them. This clinic has a very huge, huge potential to be one of the top clinics in Manitoba due to its friendly, approachable, caring, and professional front desk; however, the death of this clinic is the physicians working here. Most physicians working here are not only uncaring and indifferent but also unprofessional. I heard from some of the patients that there is a walk-in physician who make people wait for 3 - 4 hours during weekends. Coincidentally, I have a few acquaintances who happen to be Dr. Pandey's patients and they keep on tellling me that Dr. Pandey is leaving the practice in spring without informing the management about the transition plan for his patients. How I wish I can advice them to file a lawsuit against Dr. Pandey but sadly, Canada is not lawsuit-friendly and Canadian justice system is a big joke:( I miss those days that everytime I passed by in this clinic, I love hearing front desk telling patients that the waiting time is only 30 minutes during weekends and I happen to get the name of that walk-in physician on duty for weekends. His name is Dr. Alastair Brown.

Because I had a very severe auto accident in 1980, my body has many chronic problems needing attention and he is both accommodating and understanding. His present location is conveniently located. Went for a pre operation physical here. Doctor insisted I take a prescription that my surgeon said would not help me. He did not consult with my surgeon. So he made me waste 60$ of my own money because the prescription had no effect. Also his english is very bad. So bad the secretary had to interpret it for me. Do not go here. The woman doctor screamed at my 56 year old epileptic mother that she was a drug addict and demanded she got out of her clinic near the end of the day. The most unprofessional way to treat a human being. Absolutely sickening. You need your medical liscenses suspended and should be ashamed of yourselves.

Well thanks to letkeman I’m in more pain today than I was yesterday! I went in to have my leg checked because I’m in constant pain and it goes numb on me. You would think perhaps a referral for an X-ray would be the least he could do, but no, he told me and I quote “ what happens when a lion gets hurt?” .... “what?” I respond, annoyed that I’m being given a riddle by a dr, “nothing he keeps on going!” . He then proceeded to tell me to tough it out!!!! If you are looking for sage medical advice and are contemplating going to see this tool, I suggest not wasting your time. If you’re looking for “story time” and no medical help whatsoever then you’ve found the right guy.

I appreciate the staff that work here. Our family doctor here is knowledge, kind, and hilarious. He helps us get the info we need to make the best decisions for our family. Many have posted here and left poor reviews based on a lengthy wait-time; I don't understand the negativity. The staff here are hard at work. They give excellent care and seem to be doing their absolute best. A longer-than-expected wait-time seems more like an unfortunate product of having high-quality universal healthcare; not the responsibility or result of the staff that work here. I highly recommend this clinic.

Dr Letkeman was extremely unproffessional...sent hubby there because he is very sick with a cold and cant stop coughing..dr told him he wasnt even sick and he can go back to work..and he works OUTSIDE!.Meanwhile hubby has had cancer and is prone to lung infections.Didnt even want to give him antibiotics..hubby had to insist that he needs them.His licence should be taken away.
