I cannot say enough about how well Dr. Taraska and her staff not only treat their clients personally and professionally but also how much she cares about our skin. You want a dermatologist that knows faces. One that will be transparent and honest and treat you with care and respect and give you the absolute best results? Go here. Some people are shy about sharing things they do to take care of themselves but Dr. T has gone above and beyond for me and she deserves credit for not only keeping my face clear but also sculpting my own natural unique face into the best version of myself. I live in Los Angeles but I choose to fly to her instead because I TRUST her. And that's the most important piece.

I will give the clinic overall a 5 star because of the friendliness of MY technician and the doctor ( i loved her personality and attitude the one time i met her which shows a lot) AND because my results have been stellar and worth the money BUT!!!! In my opinion the front desk staff should be more nice, friendly and engaging because I've been there 4 times already and they ALWAYS have a cold attitude dont say hi how are you doing to myself or any of the clients that came in after me that i observed while sitting in the waiting room. One time I struggled putting on those booties and when i came in to joke about it they just looked at me with a blank stare! please train your front desk staff to be more friendly especially when people are going there vulnerable new shy or unknowingly .. being friendly smiling and just a simple "how are you" goes a long way!

I have been going to The Derm Centre monthly for 7 months now for laser hair removal, and I absolutely love the results that I am seeing❤ Before I started my laser hair removal I had a free consultation with Dr. Victoria Taraska and a dermatologist that performs the laser hair removal. Besides talking to me about the process they both answered any questions and concerns I had without any hesitation When I arrived for my first session, I met Carla, who is the dermatologist that has done the majority of my laser hair removal. She explained to me exactly what she was going to be doing and what I can expect. I will be the first to admit that I am a huge suck when it comes to pain! Carla immediately put me to ease offering me a small hand held plastic fan (I believe she has a stress ball as well) to hold to help me relax. Although the fan helped a lot it was more the thought of being able to concentrate on holding something that helped. It definitely helped me relax and if there was pain, I would just laugh and it made it more tolerable???? If I asked to stop for a moment she gladly did. Carla did tell me about a numbing cream that I could purchase, but I chose not to as truthfully the pain is not bad at all. I would strongly recommend The Derm Centre to anyone seeking treatment! They even sell a lash growth serum that I plan on checking out in the future. In the 7 months I have been going to The Derm Centre I've never had a disappointing experience, if anything the friendliness and professionalism has exceeded my expectations.

This place has despicable customer service, not only where they rude, they're also insulting. What kind of manager tells a potential client "what are you not listening? My receptionist already gave you all the information, why should you see the main doctor. A professional business has a reputation to uphold, like other clinics reviews are falsified to get good ratings and generate customers. Un believable. Seems like the staff needs proper training in cognitive human interaction. You can't justify bad service, no she wasn't a client, but potentially could have been. Now your defending your behavior and trying to make us look like we are foolish? We have looked into 3 other clinics, neither of which required a referral for their treatment and have since found our optimal place of service. I hope your rudeness comes back to you.

Dr. Taraska has been able to answer any of my questions/concerns regarding my vitiligo treatment. I used to go to the Winnipeg Clinic downtown but had to switch clinics once I started my new job. I found the wait times are much shorter for UV treatment at the The Derm Centre.

Hello Dr. Taraska, I just want to thank you personally for the very nice work that you did in removing the sebaceous cyst from the right side of my forehead last February 6th. Ultimately, nobody really knows what it is until you remove it and do a biopsy on it. I was very surprised that it was totally covered by medicare whereas I was quoted a fee of $300.00 to do the same procedure which would have come right out of pocket if it had of been done at another clinic here in town. I have been coming to The Derm Centre and seeing Dr Taraska for 5 years now and I will be a patient of hers for life ! She’s honestly one of my favourite people ! ...Always sweet , friendly and remembers personable details about you from previous conversations . She was also so kind to give me a lovely wedding gift for my skin a couple of years ago. Before coming to her I was a bit down about my acne scars left from cystic acne , and she’s really helped me with them . She fills them in perfectly and the only Derm I’d trust to do that, she does a fabulous job. I’ve also found that over time they’ve become better , even when the filler is gone . I’ve also tried a Silk Peel , and The Derma Pen in the past and loved them both . One of the other things I really appreciate about this clinic is that neither Dr Taraska or any of the lovely staff will ever push product on you or sell you something that you don’t need , in fact she has even stopped me once from getting more because she told me I didn’t need it . I've been seeing Dr. Taraska for over 20 years and it's always a wonderful experience. I've followed her from the Winnipeg Clinic, to Charleswood, to First Glance and now The Derm Centre. I started as a referral to tackle some brown spots on my face, then incorporating some Botox to tackle frown lines and crows feet and currently options to improve and rejuvenate my skin. Dr. Taraska has never pushed treatments or products and always recommends the best options for your skin. Lately, I'm at the clinic weekly for UV light therapy to manage eczema flareups on my hands. These can be stressful and I'm thankful for how wonderful the team has been as we figured out what caused the irritations. Being there often has given me the change to get to know the wonderful ladies (Carly, Cody, Mandy and Cassie) at the front who are always friendly and professional. Appointments with Dr. Taraska are always a pleasure. She listens to all of your concerns and ALWAYS asks about my step-daughter (by name). I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Taraska to friends and family for any skin care concerns or treatments. And though it can sometimes take awhile to get in with a referral, it's definitely worth the wait. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

For a couple years I was suffering from a skin condition that later was diagnosed to be a type of atopic dermatitis. The eczema I developed was extremely aggravating which made it hard to sleep at night and perform my duties at work. I was referred to Dr. Taraska who assisted me with my eczema condition. She was very understanding and empathetic to my issue, providing me with dietary details and UVB treatment to help suppress my rashes. UVB treatment is a bit of a lengthy process, but with the help of her friendly staff they accommodated me at every turn. Whenever I called to make an appointment, they went above and beyond to cater to my schedule. Whenever I had questions related to my condition, the staff was very informative and educated to providing me with helpful answers. Eczema may be something I have to deal with for the rest of my life, but I find solace and comfort knowing I can go somewhere like the derm centre.
