The front desk girls were very disrespectful. Seems like they both had no proper training or any knowledge on how to treat patients. I called my mom I was so upset on how they treated me and they told us that we were not aloud to see a doctor because apparently I made a scene when in reality it was her yelling at me and my mom. I was approached by 2 other patience waiting in there and they had told me that they were treated the same and that they are so rude. I would not recommend TO ANYONE to go her they are so awful and I don’t know how she even still has a job. I’ve never had such an awful experience at a walk in clinic. SHAME ON YOU. Learn to get better staff that’s insane!

Went their for my bad knee! They set appointment with Dr. Hanan Gerges. Never had this kind of terrible treatment from a dr! Without checking me properly, she asked me instead if I need a X-Ray! Then gave me pain killer medications without doing proper diagnosis. Ridiculous! Frustrating. Not going to see her again. Drs in Winnipeg should be more accountable how they are treating patients. They give prescriptions without checking patients properly. Would appreciate if WRHA investigate about the doctor like Dr. Hanan.

I was impressed upon arrival at the clean clinic and friendly receptionist. I was able to go right in with my son to see the dr. He was friendly enough and nice to my son, and diagnosed the issue quickly and gave me 2 prescriptions. One for antibiotics and one for oral steroids. When I went to get the filled, thank GOODNESS the pharmacist at Shoppers was on the ball. The steroid prescription was 4 times the amount it should have been, more than they would give a 250 lb adult! My son is 60lbs. The phramasist called to get it changed , but they said they were too busy to do it and for him to fax in a request. I also called and was on hold for over 20 min before I could speak to them. They did send back the proper dosage eventually (took over 2 hours), but I would be very leery getting a prescription from this clinic.

Receptionist was nice, not too long of a wait; however, doctors is truly unprofessional. She Walked in, checked my breathing and said I was fine... She did not ask any questions. I felt as if I had to ask questions to actually get somewhat of a clear answer. "Do you want a prescription?" is something I don't want to hear a doctors say. An unsafe practice, with a doctor that truly doesn't care about her work. You could see the rush in her body language, trying to provide quick in and out service; something that should be avoided when you need a doctors professional opinion. With multiple walk in clinics located around the city I would highly recommend avoiding this one and trying another one out.

The experience at this clinic, specifically with Dr. Olarenwaju Ajou was horrible. If there was a zero rating I would select that. Dr. Olarenwaju Ajou was very rude and unprofessional. I took my 14 month old for a check up and was flabbergasted by it. He barely examined her, didn't check her ears properly and didn't take her temperature. We went for a second opinion and found she indeed had an ear infection. Call ahead and make sure Dr. Olarenwaju Ajou is not on shift! If I owned this practice I would definitely be having a conversation with him as there are negative reviews of the clinic staff.

They said it was for him providing a physical when he never did he just copied from another paper I had. Would never step foot in here if you care about your health as they don’t seem to care what happens.

I’ve been a walk in patient at Vivacare Walmart Kenaston for many years. The doctor who I see most often is Dr Ahmed. What an incredibly fine physician he is! He is warm, kind, caring, very friendly and incredibly competent. He takes the time to listen to you and you never feel rushed. I’ve also seen Dr Prinsloo on several occasions and he is a fine doctor as well. I highly recommend this clinic and I’m so glad this clinic is so close to my house. The lab is excellent as well. They always seem to be staffed with the most competent phlebotomists. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Our family doctor Dr. Ahmed is at this clinic, we decided to swith family doctors not due to anything he did but solely due to the unprofessional staff that is the face of the clinic at reception, they are rude, short tempered, and lack empathy. It appears that they look for ways to to kick people out of the clinic, hang up while on the phone, and try to provoke a negative response from patients. Dr. Ahmed is a great doctor and it was always a pleasure to see him so to swithch family doctors is a big thing for us since we have my wife, our 5 children and myself so this decision is not taken lightly, we have had nothing but terrible experiences with the front reception and by looking at all the other google reviews that this is a common practice of treating patients poorly, it is quite unbelievable that who ever owns the clinic would allow these people to continue working there? Attitude reflects leadership, and you can tell with all the negative feedback the owner reads from all the google reviews, there is no response from them to the reviews and the same people continue to work at the clinic, which means the owner does not care and that all the same problems will continue with the mistreatement of the patients who come to this clinic. I hope the owner of Viva clinic will read this and try to make some changes and provide some training to the people working reception. It's too late for us as I will never return to this clinic but hopefully some positive changes can be made for other patients who come and have to deal with people should not have to when having medical problems. .

Dr.Munir is a joke. I've suffered with IBS -D for over 10 years now. My old doctor now practices in Toronto. So I figured I'd get my prescription from this location and see if they were accepting new patience. I asked for a new prescription for Imodium which is much cheaper to get through a pharmacy then off a shelf. Dr.Munir then accuses me for being an addict and getting high off of Imodium. I've never heard of something so stupid in my life. Wouldn't I die from constipation or something. They really need to suspend Dr.Munir medical license and prevent Dr.Munir from future practices.

They don't do their jobs... I was having some issues at the end of June and I called to make an appointment with my family doctor Dr. Ahmed on July 3rd. I get a call saying an emergency has came up and he would be back until the end of July but I could still come in as a walk-in. OK. So I came in and waited an hour and saw another practitioner. What I needed was a referral to a specialist and he gave me a hard time saying he doesn't do this for walk in and I had to explain to him that this was my family doctors clinic. So he typed up the memo and told me to wait. I asked him if I needed to call and follow up and he told me no the specialist will contact me. So I waited and waited and heard nothing. Today is August 1, almost a month after I came to the clinic and I called them asking for a follow up. The receptionist told me that the memo was never sent out. I asked them why and all she said was that the files been sitting here for a month and we didn't know what to do with it..... I've been dealing with symptoms for a month already.

The secretaries here are the RUDEST, CRUELEST individuals in their field. I forgot my health card once, assured them all the information was the same, as I frequent this office monthly, and she yelled at me IN FRONT of other patients. There is one young lady who is SUCH a sweetheart, but there are two others that are absolutely volatile and should be terribly ashamed of themselves, given they clearly don't take into consideration WHY some people need to see their doctors. I'm going to switch doctors because of them. I had no option to give zero stars, but that is what I give.

I went to the clinic and it was not that busy and wait time was said about 10 min. But it was a 45 min.wait (which is not bad compared to others) the front staff were friendly, the doctor was also friendly but felt rushed and not fully heard. I have my own physician so will only go back if needed to be seen right away or evenings.

The couple of physicians I've met so far are all very helpful and eventually met my family doctor here. Walk-in wait times can be quite congested (average 20min - 1hr) given its central location to many neighborhoods, I highly recommend scheduling ahead of time if possible. Front desk staff are good. There was a time I was late for an appointment due to heavy traffic and the staff were accommodating to still fit me in without a late charge.

What a joke. After getting a negative C19 test result went to get prescription to suspected strep throat but was turned away because... they don't see people with symptoms of C19. Let that sink in. Called the Health Links line, they were stumped. Someone with a negative C19 test is the safest patient you could see. Your logic is severely flawed.

Recently went to the clinic because I require a doctor's note for massage under my new coverage and saw Dr. Jock Prinsloo. While he was making his couple of hundred dollars to one finger type out a note (which he for some reason addrssed to the practicioner instead of the the insurance company) I mentioned that I wasnt really going to bother with it because it was probably nothing but that I had slept for 17 hours the night before in a fever and he cut me off rudely asking why I was talking about a fever when I was there for a massage note. This is everything that is wrong with the GPs in Canada. The greedy **** would rather have a possibly seriously sick patient and cause more work for his staff, longer wait time for patients and more cost to the government simply because he wants a couple hundred to type out a note and another couple hundred to do some basic tests. Avoid him at all costs.

Usually this clinic is decent, however the staff actively chose to close the clinic minimum an hour early. I discovered this after going to another Walmart location that closed early. If it is the case that they cannot service clients, than at the very least update your paper signage to reflect the actual closing time. Especially for individuals who require medical attention.

Horrible front desk service. Have been going for 4 years and everytime the reception staff treat you with very little respect. They are often having personal conversations that they finish before helping you. After a 2 hour wait today I was told i needed to pay cash for my visit, which was fine but you could have mentioned it before so I could have got it in the 2 hours i was waiting. I had a travel consultant today and they charged me $40 for an infant that the doctor gave no information about. I felt like I just got ripped off and no answers. I will be finding a new doctor now.

Wait times is horrible, they leave you on hold for 15 minutes on the phone, when you see the doctor they are always in a rush, i waited 30 minutes to see her she sat down for less than 5 minutes! you can tell the doctor just wants to rush, no interest in my concerns and she didnt even ask any questions!

Showed up as soon as clinic was open for my 1.5 year old son. Told clinic opened at 9am. Sat till 955. Doctor then showed up. Was 1030am and we still had not gotten in. Had to.leave and waste an entire morning there because my son was getting upset waiting. What a joke. If your clinic opens at 9am I would expect the doctor to show up and start seeing patients by 915. Such a waste of time. Dont go here.

Dr. Ajao is the most unprofessional doctor. I have ever seen. He did not even listen to what the problem is and said to buy some sort of cream, while the treatment procedure takes literally 30 seconds. He refused to do it, even though other doctors in the same clinic did it before. And then he just left. Amazing!

I visited that clinic some months ago. I saw Dr Gerges and my husband saw a male doctor. I noticed all the positive reviews neither I nor my husband received that kind of treatment. The treatment he got from his doctor was, he did not look at hm, it more of hate, disdain. My experience with Dr. Gerges was equally unpleasant, she was rude, dismissive and no eye contact. I then realized its because we are both black. They don’t t want to see black patients. Worst doctors and the receptionists were also rude.

Have gone numerous times never had any issue with the ladies at the desk. I have however had problems with the doctor missing my diagnosis a few times... last time being I broke a bone went in for a quick exam and xray, was told I sprained it and take some Tylenol. The following week or so I received a call from one of the girls and they said I need to come in for results. Turns out other doctors saw the break that he missed. When I went in and talked to him again for the results he was still using words like "it might be" or "looks like" trying to hide his fault(even though other doctors clearly saw the break). It is still not healed properly. I would have given the review a 1 but the girls in the front have saved that.

Everyone here is totally inconsiderate. Avoid at all costs. If I were the clinic owner the receptionists would be fired. Every doctor I've seen there barely examines you then perscribes antibiotics. Just had an awful past couple days with this office and didn’t even have to step foot in the clinic. Called to book a phone appointment, simply to get a prescription refill. First off, they didn’t call me at all on the day of the appointment. Then when I followed up, they said I never had an appointment. I was patient and booked another for the same day and corrected the phone number they were going to call. They did call this time but they called the wrong number. I understand mistakes happen but I don’t think simply getting a refill should have taken me three days (still waiting for a call anyways)

The receptionist refused to let my son see the doctor because my Manitoba Health card didn’t have my ex-wife’s current address. My 12 year old was in pain from an as yet undiagnosed infection. Had to get my ex-wife’s card (she hadn’t requested a new card for me when she moved). BIG TIME POWER TRIP….she was rude before this too. She very unpleasant top to bottom. The doctor was great. As I look at all the reviews I notice the positive ones are responded to enthusiastically while there are no responses to negative reviews. They only want to hear good things. That’s why a receptionist can continuously be rude in a health care setting….negative reviews are ignored. Maybe she’s related to someone in power. Too bad positive medical care doesn’t extend to the person who greets us; nor is it the impression foremost in my mind now or in the future. I’ve posted about my experience on Facebook & people are shocked by this; as was I. My son too, but mainly he was scared.

The worst reception I have ever seen. I was taking my 2 year old son for flu shot and I am the first one there in the morning. She asked me for all information and let me wait for 40 minutes. The doctor came and said he only found one vaccine but opened already so he can not use. He then asked the receptionist and turns out it was she left an open vaccine overnight. Then Imthe receptionist said there is no flu shot left. I was very disappointed because she should know well about the flu shot storage before she let me wait for 40 minutes. The funny part is the doctor looked for it himself and found another flu shot in the storage. I can not believe how messy their management could be. Plus, during the whole process, the receptionist didn't say sorry once.

I had to come here many times in the past few weeks for some vaccinations. I went right in the morning when they opened each time. The front desk workers are very unfriendly and assume you know everything about how their office works. I asked small simple questions and got snappy responses from the office manger. Just attempted an appointment for a physical and was warned that any specific health concerns I had would have to be addressed at subsequent appointments. I asked hypothetically that if I were suffering from migraine headaches and told the doctor this during my visit he would not attempt to assist with my concern, he would direct the front to make a separate appointment for that problem. That is truly amazing to me.

Dr.Gerges is mine and my daughter's family doctor. She is an amazing, caring and kind doctor. She really cares and follows through with test results immediately and is very efficient in referring you to specialists. I strongly recommend Dr.Gerges!!!

terrible service at front desk, discourteous staff. You can't see a doctor if you want to pay for your visit and you do not have cash on you. I was really sick and they refused to take my credit card and I was ending up going to another clinic although I always visit this clinic. I was totally disappointed and will avoid going to this clinic again.

Was pretty sure baby had an ear infection again and went on an impulse as baby was crying during supper. Almost no wait to get into see a physician which was great. Low rating is due to the fact the physician was unable to diagnose an ear infection. Went to pediatrician the next day for an appointment where the ear infection was diagnosed and antibiotics started. Was hoping Viva Clinic would save me from having to go to the pediatrician each time baby got an ear infection but apparently not.

Sandra Cote - I must be going to a different Clinic I have been going to this Clinic for a number of years I have always found the staff to be kind and very helpful. Question - Why would the staff be rude to you if you came in with some patience and maybe a smile ?? My Dr. M. Ahmed is a delightful young man who doesn't treat me like an old throw away senior !We have been through some trying times and he has been my strength. He is an excellent Dr. who I would highly recommend.

The worst clinic I have ever walked into since my 7 years in Canada. The doctors made me hate the medical system for the first when I was told I have no right to ask if a doctor is coming to see me after having me wait for 20 mins in the doctors office. Wow, I’m not surprised why they have a such a low rating. Plus , the reason i came for the second visit was after 3 days I was there and the first doctor only spent 3 mins with me, ask me to go home and have some rest , to come back if i keep having the same issues. If you want to have the worst service ever, then you welcomed to go see those guys there. ???????????????? I would rate them 0 if I had the option. Interesting to see they only reply back to the positives reviews which are so low, but totally ignore the other reviews. Shows again how much they care about their patients!!

Excellent service on a Sunday. I took my son here because he was complaining of an ear infection. They got him in right away. The doctor was really nice. She checked his ears and confirmed my suspicion was confirmed.

Worst customer service I ever experienced in this clinic. They have no idea about management and even people in reception they must need extensive training. Doctors must find some other clinic to practice and shouldn't waste their time here because eventually people will start leaving their doctors because of their management. I'm very disappointed. Upon arrival to the clinic today I checked in and was told it would be 30 Min wait (that's expected) I told the front desk staff I would step out and run to get gas (2 min drive) she advised me that if I leave the lobby I am off the list. I stayed as I wanted to be seen. I was the next to go in the room and over heard her tell a patient the Dr will now be going on a 30 min lunch break. This is very disappointing as they didn't advise patients. After waiting 40 mins I would then have to wait another 30. I wish Dr's would respect families and not waste their time. I wish I could have stayed to be seen but needed to leave to pick my child up.

Rude receptionist. The one who sits closer to the wall. Arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and asked if I could have a buzzer to grab some quick groceries and she said I'd be in right away. 45 minutes later I was finally asked to go in. What is the point of booking an appointment to then have to wait? Might as well have just been a walk in. I've been coming here for a few years now and I have to agree. Front end staff are completely rude, inconsiderate and need some customer service training. My doctor however. Very nice lady. Keep going here because I like her. But I completely dread having to deal with that receptionist.

The wait is usually long when I come, but it is because there are so many people in this area and not many walk in clinics. Not anything to do with the staff. The woman at the front deals with so many stupid people. I waited an hour and a half for walk in, and I could not have done her job. People yelled at her about wait times, presenting health cards, only having one doctor on, not being able to put their name on the walk in list for the next day day. What an experience.

Dr Prinsloo has been our family doctor for over 4 years Very knowledgeable doctor, treats his patients with respect and really cares about his patients health. While Dr Prinsloo was away we also had appointments with other doctors in this clinic and it was positive experience as well especially with doctor Georges. She is awesome with little kids.
