Both my brother and I got braces done here as kids, and mine wasn't perfect, but I can't complain, since I was asking to get my braces off earlier than recommended. However, I can't say the same for my brother.
My brother initially got braces because of concerns regarding his chin, and Dr. Laberge was confident that braces would fix his problem. We also asked if this chin problem of his might require surgery down the road, and she laughed it off, saying it will not be necessary. His braces came off a year or two ago, and the chin problem is still there. Our dentist is saying he needs to wear a night guard at night, and Dr. Laberge is saying a surgery might be necessary.
As a person, she was great. She is a very friendly person, and positive. But her optimism was completely unfounded - despite her constantly telling us throughout his appointments that my brother's treatment is going great, at the end of the day, things have gotten worse, and we're out thousands of dollars plus future expenses.
I also have a family friend that I referred to Dr Laberge, and they have similar comments regarding how she always seems to say everything is going great, although things are going worse than expected for the client. I hate to leave a bad review, since she does seem like a nice person, but at the end of the day, we would've preferred a good orthodontist.
