I have been going to this clinic for a few months now. You can never be sure what kind of atmosphere you’re stepping into sometimes the receptionist is lovely other times they have a horrible attitude and are very unwelcoming. 99% of the time they will never answer the phone. In the last few days, I’ve tried calling them over 5 times DURING BUSINESS HOURS. No one answered.. not once. I’ve also had times where I’ve booked an appointment a few days in advance and I still had to wait in the waiting room for two hours until I decided to leave as I would’ve had to wait quite a bit longer. Dr Llanos can be very kind but has been quite judgemental about my career choice. I went to school to pursue music for a very short time and he told me that was a bad idea and I’d never make any money. Completely unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself some time, effort, and sanity and go somewhere else!!

My mom needed to see a doctor sooner than what was available through her GP's office so went to the clinic in the Walmart on Taylor. The Medical Office Assistant (purple hues in her hair) at the front desk was alone but you never would have known it, she was so polite, kind and professional; she actually apologized for the wait time and my mom was a walk-in! My mom saw Dr. Llanos and she was *so* impressed. He was able to do for in her 1 (in person) visit what her actual GP hadn't been able to accomplish in 3 (!) phone appointments. She felt heard, understood and cared for, for the first time in a long time. Thank you to everyone on this team!!

Ashley who works at the front desk was so helpful. She was very kind and made sure I knew exactly how long I needed to wait. She even went out of way when she found out I had to be somewhere after I left the clinic to ask the doctor to delay her break just to squeeze me in. I was very impressed with her.

Of course as soon as I arrive back to Winnipeg for a holiday visit, I contract a virus on the plane and get ill. On my way into Walmart at this location I didn't realize there was a walk in clinic here. I saw only 3 people inside, I decided to check it out. The receptionist was very friendly and the waiting area is very clean. I think I only waited maybe 10 minutes if that and was satisfied with my visit. The doctor was very informative, I would probably come back here if I had lived in that area. If anyone is seeking a nice walk in clinic as well as do some shopping after, then this clinic is a nice add on to the huge Walmart it already is. I kind of wish all Walmart in the city had walk in clinics. Be very convenient.

They want money over patients..it's all about money over here.. make sure you don't accidentally miss your appointment here or you can't be seen..by them..they don't care if life happens and you forget your appointment over stress..this is not one I'll keep going to if that's what they're all about..

I love my family doctor, Dr. Llanos. I've seen him for over two years now and he has been nothing but kind, understanding, and caring doctor. Whenever I request a CT scan or referral to a specialist, he refers me right away and I usually get an appointment within 3 months (which believe it or not, it is quite fast if you're not dying). I would have to say, though, they really need to get some new receptionists cause the ones I've met so far are rude and have some attitude issues. Other than that great clinic, rooms are clean, and, as I said, my doctor is great!

I have been going to this clinic for a few years. I have always found the clinic to be clean and welcoming. The head receptionist has always been respectful, helpful and kind and I have now found a permanent family doctor there. I highly recommend this clinic .

DR. Llanos has shown great care when treating me, and has taken the time during the appointments to get to know me and my medical history better. I reccomend this clinic for walkins too, but you MUST get there early, or expect to wait quite a while as they are usually quite busy.

I found out about this clinic through city's Family Doctor Finder service. I have lived in many places but I have never been to a walk-in clinic like this one. They are simply amazing. The doctor, staff, they are so welcoming, friendly, and caring. Our family doctor there is patient and caring. My wife is still learning English so she usually gets very nervous to go see doctors as she needs to deal with medical terms. The doctor waits for my wife's response and speaks slower but softly for my wife. After meeting her there, my wife no longer fears going into the clinic. We are very fortunate that we were introduced to such an amazing doctor. The receptionist lady is always fantastic, too. She is always cheerful, straightforward, and quick to respond. I appreciate that she doesn't seem annoyed of the small talk. She also knows what she is doing, very quick and precise at what she does. I can tell they strive to keep the relationship with us patients very human and approachable and I have to say, they are doing a wonderful job at that. Again, never been to a clinic like this. Recommend to anyone.

Recently just started going to the clinic and have noticed the blonde receptionist having an attitude with myself and other patients. My doctor is wonderful, but the front desk atmosphere when you are waiting to go see your doctor is toxic. The receptionist almost makes it seem like it's our fault her job is so demanding ?? I don't know, I've never experiences such attitude from a person who's main job is to greed and help the people coming into their clinic (and set a first impression with new patients). Changing the attitude of the receptionist could actually give the clinic a welcoming, safe, and nonjudgmental atmosphere.

It is Sunday of a long weekend and was happy to find this clinic open. The front desk staff was polite and efficient. No waiting. Saw a great doctor ( Etukakpan)and she did an exam and gave me a prescription that was I later learned the best prescription she could have given me. It’s spotless and easy to access. Phoned this morning and asked to have Dr.Llanos call me when he was free. Dr.Llanos is my family doctor.I just wanted to ask him his opinion concerning a procedure I an considering to be going for next week.The rude receptionist demanded that I had to come see the doctor in person so he could get paid. She refused to pass a message on to Dr. Llanos to phone me.When I asked her for her name so I could report her to Dr.Llanos,she refused and then she hung up on me. Very rude and bad for business.Not a good way to treat people.

This clinic has a great staff and Dr. I just walked in and the front office accommodate me very well and I don’t have any waiting time Dr. Lucy is amazing doctor I love the way she treats a new patient and address my problem. Keep it up guys. This clinic is definitely highly recommended.

I love this clinic. The front staff are always polite and friendly and dr Lucy is one of the best doctors I've EVER been to and I've been to a lot. Shes thorough, kind, amazing bed side manner, always wants to see you doing well and efficient. I am thankful that I had her one time as my walk in and am thankful she took me on as my family doctor. :)

I have been to this clinic a few times in the past and despite very long wait times (4+ hours on one occasion) was given the help I needed. However, I attempted to bring my 3 year old daughter here and waited 45 minutes for the clinic to open. After being the first people through the doors was told that the doctor wouldn't be in for at least an hour and that would only be if the doctor felt like coming at that time, no schedule for their arrival. The receptionist was rude and condescending when I questioned why they ran their practice like this.

People these days sure do take health care for granted... and don’t seem to realize how overly taxed the system is. Reception is great, if you offer an attitude or chip on your shoulder, you’ll receive one back, straight to the point, adhering to policy, doesn’t make anyone rude. They’re all very professional, and nice to chat with!! Runs on time, unlike my previous Dr who ran behind 3 hours (no joke) / could leave at anytime, with a gossipy receptionist who spoke smack on her coworkers, outwardly. Pavilion Medical is the utmost BEST I’ve experienced my entire 37 years Thank you for your care!!

We arrive and checked in fairly quickly. However the doctors assistant at the front desk was treated horribly by a patient who had no regards for others while her and her daughter checked in. The assistant was spoken to so disrespectfully. She treated everyone with respect. If the lady ( first patient ) wasnt prepared for check in. Instead of letting the next person to check in she stood there and refused to let the assistant continue on until her daughter got the medical card from her car. Yes the dr arrived late but that's not the issue. You want to be treated with respect than she should of shown some herself. This first patient was rude the whole time she was here. Wouldn't stop antagonizing the assistant at the desk. This lady even posted a picture on here of the assistant. This violates the PHIA act. Please dont listen to the other review that was posted.

Great walk in clinic with extremely friendly staff and doctors! The wait time was a bit longer than expected but still not too bad! Because of the wait time the receptionist had offered to give me a call when it was my turn to be seen so that I didn't have to sit and wait, which I thought was really above and beyond!

Don't go there, they are not close to any minimum of customer service & at least one of them might be really racist!!! I went for the flue shot with my little daughters, I was refused by the blonde receptionist because according to them my health coverage is expired, I showed all the documents she was not true, so she told me people like me (Immigrants) Are leaving without paying, I rolled up my eyes so she asked me to leave or will call the police, Yes! Calling the police for rolling my eyes, everything in front of my daughters. I asked for her supervisor or a number ans she refused to give it to me, told me they will call!

Waiting for my "phone appointment" tomorrow morning, however, the receptionist I spoke to was fairly stand-offish. Really seemed like she didn't enjoy her job, nor did she want to be speaking to patients calling for information. Not a great experience. (Edit; Yesterday I was booked for a "phone appointment" today for 9am, only to have that phone call not happen. The doctor called me at 11am. 2 hours after the appointment was supposed to happen. I didn't pick up, to which I was called again 2 hours later. The doctor on the phone made it known she wasn't happy about me not picking up at 11am. To which I replied, "if I, as a patient came 2 hours late for my appointment, she wouldn't have been very happy", at that point, she got fairly irate, and told me I've wasted her time. Quite the double standard here). Don't waste your time with this place. Terrible experience. Zero stars.

Brought my girls in for their flu shots. The blonde girl at the front was super nice and very welcoming to my kids. The Dr was amazing and the clinic is super clean! Was even given the option to go shopping while we were waiting and had a pager that went off when it was our turn. Great clinic!

We were first in line this morning to see the doctor. Unfortunately, our medical card fell out onto the front seat of the car and we didn’t realize until we went to register. The receptionist was so rude about the 90 seconds it took for my daughter to run to the car to retrieve it. It is now 10:07 and she is still checking people in and no one has seen the doctor so it made absolutely no difference for anyone’s wait. Other patrons have actually checked in on us to see if we are ok because she was so rude. We have also heard her offer pagers to other patrons and tell them that there is no lab here after they requested blood work when we asked for the same thing and were told nothing. We all deserve to be treated fairly and with respect even if we make a mistake. Update: 10:18 and still no sign of the doctor. Update: 10:29 and no sign of the doctor and the receptionist just yelled at us. She says she doesn’t want to argue with us but she is the one who started talking to us. She has not apologized to us. My daughter wants to leave but she really needs to see a doctor ASAP. I hope the receptionist is not foreshadowing the treatment we will get from the doctor. Update: my daughter started vomiting and needed food to raise her blood sugar. The receptionist notices this and called me over to the front desk and said that if we leave she would put us in the first room available when we came back. The first glimpse of humanity from her.

I found this walk in clinic by luck when I wasn’t feeling well and it happened to be the only one open. I won’t go anywhere else anymore. I have seen two doctors there who are both very kind. Dr. Lucy is a sweetheart. She listens. Does not rush us out and always follows up with us on results. There is a receptionist named Ashley who is amazing. She has gone above and beyond to help me when I have needed and has been so patient with me. I have had to return often and I am grateful that this has been consistent for me as finding clinics and doctors nowadays isnt easy. As far as cleanliness there are no issues. It seems to always be kept very clean. If you need a walk in clinic I suggest this one. I noticed a couple of negative reviews on here and it concerns me because while everyone may have different experiences I would hate to think that a bad review because of one negative experience may deter people from getting care at this clinic. I have referred four people so far and all of them have been so happy.

Receptionist is not helpful. They need to learn customer service and pay attention to patient inquiries. Please do not pretend to be busy when patient/s need your help. There are no patients waiting yet the receptionist seems to be very busy. We wont go back there.

I have never had that awful experience as with this clinic! Arrived to the clinic at 3:43pm with a fever 39.2 and extreme headache. Well I couldn’t even talk and walk. I said that I need to see a doctor. The rudest receptionist told me she can’t accept me because they already had 2 patients ahead in the waiting room!!! at 3:43pm and hours of operation is 9:00-5:00pm! I told her how bad I feel and she gave me an advice to drive to the emergency or she can call the ambulance for me.. it seems to me that rude people like this ill-mannered receptionist is unqualified for any positions in a customer service especially in medical field! I dont know if this review will find a recipient and guidance will take measure. Just want to say that unprofessional staff like this receptionist is a big shame for all the clinic no matter how good the doctors are. Horrible????????????

I just saw Dr. Romeo Llanos and am so pleased with his help. I've not felt this "heard" by a doctor in a long time. He was so kind and addressed each of my issues and ordered the tests and made the referrals. What a wonderful doctor! And the young lady at the front desk was such a sweetheart! I listened to her answering call after call and never failing to be so sweet, polite and helpful.

The blonde receptionist needs a serious attitude adjustment. She is one of the most rude and condenseding receptionists I've ever come across and i come from Toronto!! The fact she still has a job here blows my mind after reading other reviews of her. Tells me either the person running the clinic doesn't see these reviews or doesn't care. I will be complaining to the head of the clinic directly. She should NOT be working in a doctor's office with that attitude. Took ever ounce of me to not blow up on her. She even made rude and snied comments towards other patients that came in and muttered things under her breath while I was checking in. Not a smile once the whole time I was there. Absolutely ridiculous.

My experience here was quite odd and uncomfortable. I was dealing with a bad sinus infection and came in to see the doctor for some antibiotics. I mentioned that I had a breast reduction over one month prior and that seemed to be all he could talk about. He said "women these days seem to be larger up there," and "have you seen Dolly Parton? She is large up there too." During this unwanted discussion he asked me three separate times if I was allergic to anything. Which would be fine but I question how competent this doctor is. I will not be returning.

I arrived at Pavilion Medical Clinic today and was the third person in line when they opened at 10:00am. By 10:30am not a single patient had gone in to see the doctor, and it became very apparent that there wasn’t a single doctor on the premises. Shortly before 11:00am the poor receptionist actually had to call the doctor and ask if they would be coming in today as almost an hour had already passed and there was a full waiting room. Dr Gerges finally arrived at 11:05am and when it was my turn to see her in the room she tried to explain to me that she had an emergency at home. As a business owner myself, had I experienced an emergency and had customers or staff relying on me to be somewhere, I would have at the very least called to let them know I would be running behind. It’s also interesting how many “emergencies” there seems to be based on all the reviews stating the same punctuality issues with doctors not arriving for an hour after the clinic opens. After a discussion with other clients on site today while waiting apparently this is a standard practice with this clinic and the doctors have absolutely no respect for their patients time and choose to show up whenever they please. This review is to warn others to not waste your valuable time at this clinic and also bring light to the horrible unprofessionalism of the doctors associated with this clinic.

Dr. Lucy at this clinic is amazing. She takes the time to listen and to fully explain treatment plans and your current condition so you as a patient can make sense of what is happening. I have felt so respected as a patient and in my last visit I didnt have the time to let her know how much it meant to me that she gave me that time, so I decided to write it here.

Online Sundays hours say 9am to 1am. The voicemail the Sunday hours say 9 am to 1am. Drive halfway across the city for 9 am and discover a sign that says 10 am to 3pm. Is it that hard to change the voicemail and hours online and not waste peoples time? Next when I finally got to see a Dr and got a dr note for work.The note at the end said if there was any questions call them. 1)It's illegal to give out my information medical or otherwise without my written permission. 2)If any of my information is given out without my permission I will be reporting it. Not going back here again.

Worst medical care on the planet, and I am from Toronto!! Doctor Llanos takes weeks to refill a prescription, the phones never work and the staff are rude and no apologetic. If you can find a doctor any where else then do it!!!

Dr. Ballestas was very disrespectful to both myself and my wife. He was absolutely too prideful and condescending to be able to deal with. I have numerous medical conditions and instead of admitting that he was unable to juggle everything he decided to degrade and berate us and tell me to not take so much medication (all of which are necessary for my medical conditions). After a visit to his office My wife was literally in tears. His nurse practitioner is excellent, but Ballestas lacks any kind of bedside manner. Between him and his "nurse" Ulna, it's heck trying to visit this office. Michael, the NP, makes up for it though.
