I just had 4 wisdom teeth removed at Maxillo Winnipeg and it couldn’t have gone better. Dr Scherle, the anesthesiologist Steve, the nurses, and the front desk staff were efficient, professional, and kind. Dr. Scherle answered any of my questions before I was put under and I was out of the office and on my way within an hour. Would highly recommend Maxillo Winnipeg, Dr. Scherle, and his staff to everyone I know.

From the consultation to the day of the surgery Kurt has been amazing ..... I was originally supposed to go to oral surgery Winnipeg but they kept changing the dates and I was in extreme pain and couldn’t wait... answered all my questions made me feel comfortable him and the anesthesiologist Steve... I’m excited to go back in 6-8 mths for my implants....

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Vint on Thursday. My appointment was at 8:30 and I was out of there by 9:30. The Anesthesiologist did great. Everyone helped me feel calm and I don't remember anything. My mouth was frozen for half the day Thursday but barely any pain since then. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing wisdom teeth taken out.

So I found this great clinic, and I had a pleasure meeting Dr. Kurt who is very knowledgeable and professional. It took him only 15mins to finish everything, I was truly surprised with his amazing job!

Everything about this facility and it's staff is great. Dr. Scherle was very informative, honest, and professional in his service. They genuinely strive to do what's best for the customer, and not just their own pocketbook. Previously, I went to a different oral surgeon clinic for an expert opinion and let's just say I was tremendously disappointed in their lack of customer service and lack of integrity. Coming to Maxillo was a breath of fresh air from the previous surgeon I visited elsewhere. I have nothing but good things to say about Maxillo.

This dude convinced me to pay them more to remove more teeth than necessary because I am admittedly young and ignorant to matters like these. I now know that I was taken advantage of. On top of that he broke one of my other molars and then left that one in my mouth. I assume so I'll have to go back and have him fix or remove it.

As someone who had never had any major dental work done, I was very nervous to get all of my wisdom teeth extracted -- but right from the beginning, Dr. Scherle and his staff were awesome. I felt no pressure during the consult, and all of my concerns were addressed; once I had decided to go through with the surgery, the office staff provided loads of information, and made dealing with the insurance company and prescription acquisition very easy. Everything was very professional and compassionate, and Dr. Scherle himself answered my questions and offered reassurance right up until I was under anesthesia. I was pleasantly surprised by how quick both the surgery (in and out of the office within an hour) and recovery were. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Scherle to anyone!

I’d never had any kind of surgery before, so I was terrified and kept delaying the inevitability of having my wisdom teeth removed. Finally, at 35, I couldn’t deal with the pain anymore and decided to just get it over with. My experience at Maxillo Winnipeg was nothing short of excellent. The surgeon and anesthesiologist dealt with my anxiety with humour and compassion, and I was in and out of surgery within 30 minutes. It was the best oral surgery experience I could have asked for.

If your going to see Dr. Shirley know that money comes first and patien care second and I will be lodging a complaint with the Manitoba Dental association. Plus making sure everyone know patients care is not as important as the money. Sending a patient home in pain with exposed jawbone that was directly related to the work done. But being told he is just cleaning up everything and that the other Parra next to were he was working was not exposed before he pulled my tooth . But instead told me it was out of the scope of the work he did and that I would need to setup a new appointment with him for that work and I was currently submitting in his chair. He wouldn't have made as much money fixing my problem already sitting in his chair..I will never go back to the cash grab dentist. So if your appointment is for Dr. Shirley I wouldn't go.

I hadn't been to the dentist for years knowing I had to get my wisdom teeth out and I was absolutely terrified. I finally bit the bullet this past summer and decided it was time. I was referred to the Maxillo clinic and I have to say that I am SO GLAD I went!! After just having them out yesterday, my swelling is almost none and I have barely felt the need to take pain medication. Dr. Vint did an amazing job during the procedure and I am so grateful. The entire staff including the anesthesiologist and reception were so comforting and pleasant. I would 100% recommend this place and I actually feel like they have helped squash my phobia of the dentist.

My experience at Dr. Scherle's new facility on Henderson was exceptional. I had IV sedation for the extraction of two wisdom teeth. Maxillo is a beautiful space with a peaceful and professional atmosphere. Each staff member I interacted with was genuinely helpful and kind. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Amadeo and Dr. Scherle were very warm and assuring and I knew I was in good hands. Everything was punctual and well-run. I just got a wisdom tooth pulled at Maxillo and the whole experience was great! I'm really not sure why everyone says getting wisdom teeth pulled is such a big deal!? I got in right away, and within 30 minutes I was out and on my way. Dr. Vint is great- super friendly, funny and knowledgeable.

I just had all four of my wisdom teeth removed earlier today. I have never had any type of surgeries or procedures done before and Dr. Kurt Scherle was very kind and understanding. While the anesthesiologist was inserting my IV he asked me about the electrical program I’m taking at Red River College. I told him I had received my level 1 and was going to start looking for a job. The last thing I remember was the anesthesiologist asking me to tell him when I felt the medication kicking in and next thing I knew I was in the recovery room. I was in and out of the office in an hour. Nurses were incredibly helpful as well and made sure I was comfortable before letting me go home. I’m currently very comfortable and not in too much pain or discomfort. I would highly recommended Dr. Kurt Scherle to anyone who needs their Wisdom teeth removed.

Actually talked to him personally on phone when I had a concern. Could have pulled tooth that another oral surgeon said it was and made money but took time and extracted a different and correct one This was done while Covid 19.was happening and tooth driving me nuts. Went first to ORAL SURGEONS OF WINNIPEG They sure gave me the run around and poor customer service and never got back to me. Dr Vint at MAXILLO is the best Oral Surgeon in Winnipeg ! I was extremely anxious about having my wisdom teeth removed. Dr.Kurt was very compassionate, caring, kind and understanding. He explained eveything during the consultation perfectly. The day of surgery he took a few moments to answer any questions, he noticed i was very nervous and uneasy. So while the anesthesiologist was prepping Dr.Kurt noticed i was wearing a Jets shirt and decided to talk hockey while i drifted away. I wokeup to the most wonderful nurse as well. She told my family i asked her to hug me upon waking up and she had no issues with that. I can honestly say i haven't had real pain, discomfort yes but pain no. Anyone who gets to see Dr.Kurt is in good hands. Only negative was the fact it took the front office staff over a month to send my insurance request.
