This Doctor is classified in the category of Medical Center.
Parking is atrocious. Be prepared to wait for 5-10 minuets in line for a chance to pre-pay at at an extremely slow machine that doesn't give change.
He is the best doctor in Winnipeg and is very nice to all the children he sees
My son is seeing an eye specialist at Mb Clinic. The specialist is great but the waiting time sucks. You have an appointment at 2:30 pm and you get called in 2 1/2 hrs later. So annoying. Also you pay $5 for parking but you wait more than that you end up paying another $3.50. And yes the elevators are ridiculously full all the time.
It's what you expect from a large city clinic.
Dr. Nick Tkaczyk is such a g, he's chill. So funny and easygoing
My doctor and the new facilities are great. I have no complaints there. I am, however, conserned about their wheelchair accessibility. I use a double stroller for my two children that's about as wide as a wheelchair. The labelled accessable entrances from the parking garage don't open with the button and the 3 elevators are always full, leaving little space for anything with wheels. Today I waited 10 minutes and watched 6 elevators open and close before there was space for me. There was also a man with a wheeled walker waiting with me.
I only give reviews when called for......this is it! I understand doctors are very busy and have so much on their plates, but when it comes down to working directly with you and your child, you would expect a doctor to have the interpersonal skills, at least somewhat friendly, correct diagnosis, recommendations and honesty, etc. DR. GARDENER is not one bit that doctor!! I have gone to see her a couple of times with my little one and she is very condescending, judgmental, doesn't smile or even seem happy to help. She gave my baby a flu shot without me knowing, and I would file a complaint against her as she suggested, but I will just leave this review for all to see. I have began to look elsewhere for another pediatrician for my child. Stay away from this unhappy, evil woman.
Dr. Bernier is wonderful beyond words. I've had to deal with so many condescending patronizing sexist physicians - it was a breath of fresh air that he treated me with respect. The new facility is great. Very organized with good signage.
Dr. Silha is an excellent doctor, its just too bad the receptionists are very rude. They dont even give you a chance to say what you want to say or to finish a question. They cut you off have way through and are very abrupt. When i asked her to let me finish my question about about a missed appt fee, she cut me off again before i could finish. i had to cut her off and ask her again at which time she hung up on me. Shè has always done that. Its for this reason i will be finding another doctor.
Clinic is nine floors of doctor offices, pharmacy, food service and other services. Attached is a large parking garage that accesses the clinic. Clean and new. Some delays due to Covid but line moves quickly.
I called the front desk to make an appointment with a specific doctor. I was transferred to the doctor and then back again to the front desk. the receptionists said. "I guess they are on lunch. Please call back." Me: " Can I leave a message with you?" reception: "no, call back." Me" then than is the purpose of the call being transferred back to you." reception: "So I can tell you they are on lunch." WOW!
The clinic is not the worst but very clean and the doctors are nice!
Love the new updates in the new building! Modern, open area concept, the waiting area lounge chairs are much more comfortable compared in the old building! It's way more easier to look for the doctor's offices are since there are signs everywhere! It takes some time to get used to but the signs are everywhere and easy to find. Everything is great but one less star for the elevators. Elevators need to be taken care of in the building. 3 elevators but dysfunctional so you will most likely have to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier just in case the elevators are acting up.
best doctors in winnipeg!!!
Very long wait but once you're in you're out pretty quick. Very caring nurse's and doctors.
If i could go less than 1 star i would. This is the 3rd visit that my bf and i have been waiting for over an hour and a half before even seeing a doctor. Maybe don't schedule so many people a day if you can't handle it. I shouldn't have to book an entire day off work to sit in a waiting room to see a doctor for 3 minutes.
Dr. Goldberg is wonderful and very thorough with his patients. I highly recommend him.
View to downtown Winnipeg from the Manitoba Clinic
You think with the amount of Doctors and traffic of people in and out of there they would have put in a couple more elevators. Trying to get downstairs to the lab is ridiculous because people waiting to go up jump on the elevator filling it going down....which I can understand after waiting over 5 minutes for the elevator. Great doctors and facility just horrible elevator service.
My Dr works out of Mb Clinic and starts at 06:00 NOT at 9 as indicated in the information. I have put in a request for a change to the information. My next appointment is at 6:15 a.m as it has been for the last 10 years.
Parking is very difficult! ! And to much construction! ! And is very busy there ! I've had to go to walk inns many times cause my doctor is to busy !! And when I've had to see the specialist there I've always had to wait 2 hr or more before I even get in to see her , and that is with an appointment! !!!!!!
Great place and good doctors.
Before going there please must take prior appointment with any doctor otherwise its hard to meet with any doctor.
Who designed this building to have such an inefficient elevator system ?
Great physicians, long waits. Parking is expensive. 3.75 per hour $5 for two hours. I would go for the 2, getting to your appointment can be problematic as the elevators are always filled and when broken times escalate.
Do not go there. It is not a good Place for all and it is chaos.
Amazing newly constructed 9 story palace.
Nice staff
My rating is based solely on the experience I encountered with the receptionist for Dr. Stronger, Cecelia. She was behind the desk of my doctor's appointment (not Dr Stronger) , and I assumed she was the reception, as nobody else was there at that moment. She was on a FaceTime call, her mask was off. I said "hello" and she turned to look at me for a solid 5 seconds before curtly saying they don't open until 9. I had an appointment at 8. She proceeded to give me attitude about not being the receptionist for the doctor I was seeing and continued on with her FaceTime call, calling me names. I did record this incident on video. I invite anyone curious about this treatment to ask for my video it in it's entirety, I'd be happy to share.
Fantastic.
Went to see Dr nazar. Long wait times but he is a very good doctor!
Always able to help when needed
Old building but being rebuilt soon
Doctor helped more than any other place.
I think the designers, architects and builders did a great job in constructing the new Manitoba Clinic building at 790 Sherbrook Street. As a regular visitor because of my myriad health problems -- my G.P. has his offices on the 6th floor -- my sole complaint is the elevator service. Compared to the old building, they are slow (mind you: I used to walk up to 2) and frequently 1-2 of 3 is not in service. Otherwise, a lovely clinic environment, including the lab and upgraded imaging services onsite in the basement.
I missed my appointment and it was a genuine reason I called to request to reschedule my appointment and the lady told me that she won’t be letting me see a doctor and that I should get off the phone even after informing her and acknowledging she was very rude and didn’t even listen.
Great doctor but over scheduled and aweful parking.
The new facility is really nice! Lots of access and nice updates. Everything is modern now which is a nice upgrade from the old building. Parking is easy and there's it's of it... the usual 3.75 per hour....
I will NEVER take my son to Grant McDougall ever again. Let me tell you that before writing this review I have taken time to calm down and reflect on whether I was right or wrong and also not say saying anything rude or disrespectful that I may regret. Grant has seen our son 3 times over the span of 5 months. The first time we ever met him we already thought there was something a little off about him. He walked in wobbly, speech was slow and slurred, and he was making some weird jokes. Honestly I thought he was drunk but as he’s a “Doctor” we gave him the benefit of the doubt. Today we went for our third checkup and had a list of concerns. Our son doesn’t sleep well through the night often waking up every half hour to 45 mins and my wife is feeling signs of post Partum anxiety/depression to name a few. So we thought going to a professional could help us with tips or resources as we are first time parents and we are tired and sleep deprived. He was quick to brush off all of our concerns. We felt like he didn’t even let us finish voicing our concern before telling us everything is normal. He even told my 5 month old that his mom was “being so critical of you”. As we are very tired and really at the end of the line as far as what we feel we can handle. We were hoping to find some sort of help, guidance, or direction. He showed no empathy towards us, was so quick to try to get us out of there. At the point that I felt I wasn’t getting the professional help that we required. I expressed how I felt which is when he got angry, yelled at me while waving his finger in my face and told me he didn’t have to be there. He then asked me if I wanted a new paediatrician for our next appointment which I quickly said “Yes!” to. He then says “well nobody is booking right now so you’ll be on your own”. I wouldn’t recommend this person to any new parent. Him and his receptionist are rude, he isn’t helpful at all, and most importantly I DO NOT trust him with the health and well being of my son.
Today on Friday May 7th 2021 around 10:30 am there was a blue truck racing on very high speed in the parking building, going up and down between the levels. He was racing with extremely loud exhaust, no matter lots of women with babies are there. When I asked for security in the building, there was just one man who was busy with the pt in the wheelchair. The truck left shortly after. I highly doubt they are going to do something about it.
Easy access parking, got at our appointed time, friendly staff.
The elevator situation here from the parkade was very poorly thought out. Also the Hang Tag app for parking is brutal. Nearly everywhere else in the city uses PayByPhone for parking. Hang Tag is know. For having numerous issues. I always cringe when I have to make a trip to the Manitoba Clinic knowing I’m going to have to fumble with the Hang Tag app to park. I spend more time dealing with the app than in an appointment to see a doctor :(
Great medical staff and service
just another Manitoba quack.
I wish i can give less then one star for dr. Gardner. My baby sufferd from dipper rash more then 4 month, but she didn't know what was the cause and treatment for it.but pharmist helped us for my baby's rash. She is always in hurry, if we ask her any question about our baby she has only one ans. " I dont know how to explain".
I had my appointment at Cardiac lab in room 303 .The technicians conducting the test ware very rude and instructing in shouting voice. When conducting test they were talking themselves in their language. A very bad experience
Nice looking building inside... Spacious inside. Absolutely TERRIBLE elevator service. 3 elevators for dozens of people waiting at ALL times of the day. Sure, encourages people to take the stairs, but some just can't. Major fail.
Great for kids
Open Modern concept building. Better than old one.
This place is a nightmare. The nurses are rude the whole place is chaotic. Very clear indication of how piss poor the Manitoba government is. Pallister is proud of the healthcare in this province? Is that a joke? You build a new building and don't attach the parking lot that is located up against it and then put in 1 elevator for the parking lot. 3 elevators for the clinic that are continuously packed. Unbelievable that this is in Canada.
Having gone here since I was a child I was always told there was nothing that could be done about my lazy eye, now having convinced my parent to go elsewhere. Guess what, it was fixable in my youth and am now left with horrid vision in my right eye. I guess eye patches weren't readily available at Manitoba clinic.
DON'T GO HERE. WARNING. Outside parking lot taken up, by construction. Covered parking was FULL. Line up of cars down south side of building from front door onto Sherbrook .I could not get near building nor any door to help my disabled 90 year old mother into the building for her appointment. She missed her appointment. HOW IS SHE GOING TO GET MEDICAL CARE?? Wait until her condition is so bad that she ends up in emergency and hospital ??? she has a 30 year medical file at the clinic,..what I am to take her to walk in clinics ??? I think she will die before she sees a doctor. Good planning Man Clinic,NOT . did anyone think of their patients, when planning this,...disabled patients are SOL.
Mum and I had an appointment at 6:15 with the dr. After being asked questions we walked in forgetting that he had asked us to sanitize our hands. The guard sitting at his little desk yelled “SANITIZE YOUR HANDS NOW!” It startled me and startled mum to the point of breathing heavy. The building is quiet in the morning, a normal indoor voice would have been acceptable. Not to mention we were going for an appointment where we were both very emotional. Great place for a medical issue, terrible terrible terrible experience with the front guard. Get better ones Manitoba Clinic!!!
I had high hopes for this place. But was let down yet again by Winnipeg and their lack of good health care. I was referred to Dr.Hanson and after a few months I finally got an appt! I was excited as I am in constant pain everyday, that effected my job and I was put on leave. Due to covid my appt was cancelled twice. I just received another appt date, not by them calling me to reschedule but by me being in so much pain I called in to see what was happening. And was given an appt said they were making appts for one procedure but not the other due to the restrictions. I took the appt and informed her again I am going through a move and hopefully should be done by then, but if need be will need to reschedule. I called this week to reschedule I seemed to miss them until yesterday I got a hold of them and was spoken to with extreme attitude and was met with scarcasim and challenged when I said I wasn't done moving. She replied "you said that last time you were moving and would be done, your still moving!?" After a pause in disbelief that this person was speaking to me like that I just let her know I was not happy and will be leaving a review. I think it's interesting that we have to accommodate for them, having my appointment canceled not due to myself but due to them and these restrictions and then being told that I have to be referred to another gastro. So that means I have to go through this whole process which at this point has taking me a year - year and a half to get to this point so not only am I extremely disappointed in the treatment by Dr Hansen's office but I will also be putting in a complaint with the college of physicians for this treatment,or should I say lack of treatment. if there is anything wrong with me and I'm not being treated, I was refused treatment. Pretty sure I could sue.
clean and tidy, lots of waiting areas with up to date magazines . Auto blinds for when the sun Is streaming through ( let’s face it we all need the sun in winter ) good views of Winnipeg . See photo. Patient Friendly smiling staff who are keen to help alleviate those that are nervous only issue is parking in the arcade next door makes it fairly expensive to be sick. Free parking at a casino but getting sick costs you.!!!
Waited for over an hour, during Covid not recommended, waiting room full and should not be waiting long at times like this. Need to reschedule did not feel safe to wait longer.
Bring my two weeks old baby on time for the App, waited one an half hrs. Whats the point for making appointment? Assistant of doctor J grabowski has really bad attitude, saw her computer and she was busy on the online shopping, let me take off baby dress and keep us waiting. Very disappointed
Dr. Silha is alright, Dr. Mayba is good except 2 hour waits, but dr. Matteliano is cut from another cloth, amazing urologist, who listens, cares, and diagnoses all your urological needs. Take the time to visit him when you need to see a good doctor get his name and referal. He is one of the best trained by one of the best! Nothing but good vibes and positive feedback.
Since I can remember I was always a patient with the Manitoba clinic. Once I had my daughter, she too was a patient at the clinic- even my old doctor - dr Muruve . This doctor was amazing and kind to me throughout my years under his care, which is why I choose him for my daughter. Fast forward to today, I recently found out that he has since retired. I called today to get information on who my daughters doctor would be and to my surprise... I was advised that Manitoba clinic is “NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS”. Um excuse me?? Since when is my child no longer a patient, when and why would she get the boot? I asked the secretary and she advised me that since Sofia hasn’t seen a doctor In 2 years , that she is no longer a patient. Hold on a second, dr Muruve advised us , come back when she is 9 years old for her shots. Thank God my is heathy , so why would I go for a doc appointment is she is fine and I was advised to come at 9 years of age? The policy “Aparently” states that if you have not been Or seen at this clinic for 2 years then your booted ?! I never saw this policy - or signed anything. Why would I have been told not to come ? Also, last time that my daughter was at the clinic was less than two years but - nope ... no longer accepting patients... My daughter has every dam right to be at that clinic - since birth she has been going there
The new clinic is much, much better than the old one. Quite spacious and open. The waiting room has quite a nice view of the downtown. Elevators were a bit sluggish to respond. Parking though is much improved infrastructure wise.
Good Dr's on site
By far the most inconsistent dr. I have ever Encountered. My first appt with her and with a new born. I waited over an hour to see her. Appointments are short. She spends zero time caring for clients. I have had to bring another family member in Hope's to intimidate her to do her job. She has shown my family she does not care for children. I have been taking my daughter to a walk in clinic. The doctors there treat my child as if they care for her well being. A lot more care for my child then I ever recieved from dr. Madison/dr incompetent.
Saw gynecologist Marli liebl. She was very nice and personable. My biggest problem is I was never able to get a hold of her for my results. The receptionist was advised to relay them to me which I found frustrating because I had questions which I couldn't ask the receptionist as they aren't trained to translate results. She was on call and seemed very busy hardly at the clinic to call patients back. My previous gynecologist always followed up with me I guess it's not the case here. Will be going elsewhere in the future.
I was sitting in a chair, holding my daughter while her diaper was off, I looked away for a moment and looked back and Dr.pollock had his face in my daughter's private part, and she bursted out crying and when he moved his face away, he said oh I'm just checking her pulses, I made a report about it and mb clinic said we looked at your report and seen that Dr, pollock didn't do anything wrong. We need him for sick kids) he shouldn't be working with children! Pollock psychology tried making me think he was just checking her pulses, but after he called me after hours and I asked him why he put his face down there and he said he was tickling her, trust me as I say, he was not tickling her. Here's another report I found about him.
The best doctors at this site for all my children. Been with them for over 15 years and continuing
I feel bad for the doctors because their receptionists dont have good customer service, they complain about the clients basically right to their face, and makes them feel bad.
Cool
I really enjoy the new Manitoba Clinic. Beautiful views of the city from upper floors. Nice and large waiting area.
Dr was great but did have to wait about an hr. Very dirty washrooms. Health department should check it Out! Also very poor parking for handicap!
I was in to see Dr Manusow for a consultation. After reading some of these reviews I was a bit apprehensive as i've never been to this clinic, but now I see where people are coming from and feel I can offer an explanation to anyone else new. This clinic is serious and responsible regarding Covid protective measures. Once you enter the building, an initial guard ushers you into a two lane line. Another attendant asks you several questions, takes your temp with a temp gun and the two lanes merge into one line for the elevators. There is another team of workers operating the elevators, ushering people in groups. There are stickers on the ground making it clear where to stand at each stage, there is a touchless hand sanitizer station in line. I would recommend bringing your own sanitizer, whatever they use has a rather strong industrial smell. The whole process was quick and efficient, the line was constantly moving, I was on the main floor for about 3 minutes. After you reach your floor, there are no further measures beyond common sense, such as chairs being spaced out. The desk attendants were not rude, but curt and perhaps a bit robotic. It's clear they're trying to move people as quickly as possible. Best have your papers in order or they will verbally reprimand you. If you ask a question outside the scope of their role they will flatly tell you they can't answer, or to save it for the doctor. I was able to book a morning appointment and was seen immediately. Between tests I was only waiting a few minutes in the lobby before I was called for the next. I was in the building for an hour total, I think I was waiting in a lobby for less than 10 minutes during that time. In short, expect a quick and efficient stay. Best to book mornings and show up on time with proper documentation, this clinic values efficiency over comfort and caress.
I wouldn’t even give dr Gardner a rating of one. She is a terrible dr who expects you to tell her what to do. Stay away from her. I had to walk out of an appointment with her because she is that bad. I had asked her if we can do some blood work on my 5 year old daughter because of her two month constant headache, she says yeah for sure, what do you want tested? Seriously? I’m not the dr, you tell me, well I don’t know. Smart! This is only one example of my experience with her. How did she even get her license to practise! A complaint has been filed against her too.
We enjoy our visits with Dr. McLean... However for a pediatrics floor the 5th floor could really use some form of child entertainment like toys and books.
