On the basis of a dozen visits or so. A good solid place a cut above the usual walk-in clinic. Service was quicker than expected. A bonus is their built-in lab for medical tests.

My appointment was at 10:30, it's a 15 minutes Wait. I don't understand if I have an appointment is a scheduled time why do I have to wait that long. I can see 5 mins over is reasonable but 15 minutes especially when I am taking time off from work. The receptionist was not helpful either. Sometimes acknowledgement and an explanation can help the frustrations but there was none of that. Not happy with the Wait.

If you book an appointment then the wait is fairly good. However, for walk in, I have been given Dr. Smith twice now and he is by far the most awful doctor I have ever had. He has 0 respect for his patients, lashes out, is extremely rude, and has no filter on his opinion of your personal concerns. 100% does not deserve to be a doctor and I would never recommend him to anyone.

CON ARTISTS! They performed a basic medical service then on the way out charged me 100$. If I had known there would be a cost I would have gone somewhere else. Terrible service, it wasn't even complete. Never go here you'll regret it

Reception 1/5. Always talking rudely about patients, visibly annoyed whenever interacting with patients. My worst by far is over the phone. I wait 10 minutes only to be put on hold for another 20 minutes after I clarify I wanted to book an appoitment with Dr Smith.

Went in for the first time on a weekday, around 10 am to have my young child checked out. After initial registration, was immediately sent to a room where the doctor was already waiting. She went about with her checks and answered any questions we had. All done in less than 30 mins though I realize I might just have been lucky.

Best run clinic in all of stvital x-ray lab and walk in all in reasonable times shortest wait times I've encountered sometimes you walk in and they send you to a room immediately. I go out of my way to go here even when there are other closer clinics.

This individual needs to reconsider her career choices because that kind of rude ignorant behaviour does not belong in front line personnel in a helping profession office!!

Dakota medical makes you feel very well taken care of. Even when you have to wait as a walk in, the ladies at the front always do their best and will hold your spot in line if you'd like to run some errands in the meantime. The doctors I've come to know there are exceptional.

went for a simple blood test serology and waited for an hour then when I finally went in I was told they couldn't do it for whatever reason and told me to go to a different lab waste of time!

i went here to get a Covid-19 test at approx. 3:00pm, i was the only person there but was told i would have to make a appointment or wait at least until 4;00pm as that when they starts testing. i relly didnt like this as our government wants us to get tested/ screened, and vaccinated but when you have a chance to do it your turned away. Its a shame part of the government and the medical center for devoting itself as a testing site but wont test between specific hours..

They don't take calls on Sunday and will close the clinic at their discretion. The only way they could communicate less respect for patients would be to remove their sign from the building.

The receptionists have been helpful and professional both times I've been here. The first time was for a walk-in and I saw Dr. Siva. She took her time with me and listened to my concerns and actually cared. The second time was also a walk-in to follow up with Dr. Siva and I got in right away again. The service here is fast and professional and Dr. Siva is great.

Came to see a doctor with my newborn and waited for two and half hours there, when I came they told me that it was 4 person in the line and then when I finally asked after 2.5 hours it still was 4 persons. Worst experience ever. :( Not friendly staff.

Got my blood test done here last week because I thought it'd be convenient as it's closer to work. The girl who took my blood hit a nerve in my arm, didn't apologize nor acknowledge it. I now feel the permanent damage and will be making the 30 min commute elsewhere..Screw this place.

‼️ Don’t get a Covid test from this place ‼️ Me and a few friends had to go get tested after coming in contact with someone with covid-19 and we were all a-symptomatic.... It’s been 4 days and they told us 24 hours... not impressed :/

Terribly run clinic. Doctors always way behind schedule. Why they even take appointments is beyond me. Find someplace else to go unless you have hours to waste waiting in an overcrowded chaotic waiting room.

Terrible! Took my sick daughter there at 4:15 pm on a Thursday and was told the clinic was closed despite the hours posted on their door saying open til 6 pm daily. When I told the receptionist their hours posted both online and on their door say closed at 6 pm she said "we actually close at 5 and cannot take any more patients today." There were only two other people in the waiting room. I came from outside the city with a sick child and I told her so and she would not fit me in. I will never go there again!

Front desk is great. Dr. Louis F. Smith is horrible. He broke his hypocritical oath as a Dr. And I would advise never to have him as your doctor since his advice on prescriptions put me in the hospital and then he refused to see me when I told him he was wrong. -5/5

I have been coming to the lab quarterly for several years and have been very pleased with the technicians, however, on my visit today the female who took my blood appeared to be very rushed. She took my blood, put a cotton wad over the needle hole and slapped a piece of tape over it barely lifting the cotton wad to see if it was bleeding, and then she told me I could leave and put pressure on it. When I took the tape and cotton wad off my arm it was coated with dried up blood, which had never happened previously. Previously the technicians would put the cotton wad on the wound and have me press on it until my blood vials were labelled and then they would check it to make sure it was not bleeding. What concerned me was the fact that she hadn't even printed up the labels to put on my vials of blood so I hope the correct results get forwarded to my doctor!!

Was told 1 person ahead of me, 15min wait. An hour and a half later, I’m still waiting. When I approached the receptionists, I was met with rude sarcasm as if the wait time was my fault. I could hear them talking about me as I went back to my seat. I’ve never had an issue with the Dr’s here. Just the receptionists that clearly want to talk to each other about their day rather then be courteous to the patients.

Horrible service, front receptionists were very rude. Visit was completely rushed! Was told the clinic opened at 8 am by both receptionists and the doctor, meanwhile doesn’t open till 9. No one working there had a clue what was going on half the time! Waited over 35 mins for a receipt to be printed so I could leave. Will never be returning!!!

I’ve met pretty much all of the doctors at this clinic, however compared to the rest—Dr. Sadia Khan is incredible. She listens to the patient without brushing them off and provides the best medication/advice possible. She accommodated all of my requests and answered all of my questions in a very patient and educating manner. I feel a lot more confident now knowing I have all of my paperwork filled out appropriately.

My finger got injured at work, and I walked in after business time as an emergency. Dr Smith received me, and it’s been a week, I’m all good. Thank you Dr Smith. I recommend dr Smith at anytime. He’s the best reliable doctor I’ve ever met.

The staff is decent, but lately ive only seen dr. Siva as a walkin patient. Ive been there about 3 times and had her as the walkin doctor. She basically dismissed everything, prescribed nothing and didnt seem to care to check for other issues. I had to go to another walkin afterwards

Very good especially the pharmacy l have only had one pharmacy when l moved 45 or so years ago to st vital at Dakota pharmacy l moved in 2010 to north kildonan and happy to say l am still at the same pharmacy would not change it for anything talking about the pharmacy not the walk in but the pharmacy also has clinic and is very good

Came on Saturday and scheduled appointment for booster shot for my wife. Monday morning while she was driving ( 5 minutes prior arrival/appointment) the staff called to cancel the appointment due to lack of vaccines (??!!) - Too much for an organized and reliable medical place ! ( the appointment was not rescheduled because the staff didn't have a clue abut availability)

4 stars due to the long wait but the blonde doctor with a cute little accent was EXCELLENT. 5 stars for her. She explained everything awesome and diagnosed instantly. Front desk is super nice as well.

I've been going here both for walk-ins and as a patient for several years. Dr. Strank is one of the best doctors in the city. He never rushes you, takes time to listen, and works with you to properly resolve health concerns. The front desk is sometimes hard to get ahold of by phone as it's a very busy clinic, but it's worth it.

My first visit to this clinic and it was so professional and efficient. Went there as a walkin at 7am, gave my info to the two nice ladies at the desk, saw Dr. Van Rensburg and was back in my car with prescription in hand by 7:10am. Really impressed.

I chose to go here for the covid test for surgery the next day. I scheduled a 5 pm appointment. When I arrived I was told to have a seat and they will call when they start. More people arrived and we were all seated in chairs that were spaced out. Then for some reason they put tape on the floor in a hallway and told everyone to line up. So the first person was at the beginning of the hallway and everyone else going to the end of the line had to walk pass those in front of them as they walk to the back of the hallway. The hallway was narrow and there was no spacing between people as they walked past each other. Then they begin to register people based on their spot in line, instead of their appointment slot. At one point a guy came in and was told to line up, he seen the line then complained and said he has a 6 pm appointment for a covid test and he is not standing in line. So they took him a head of everyone else that was standing in line. Not sure what the point of the appointments if they are not going to follow them and I felt it would of been safer to leave people seated in the chairs and call them up in the order of their appointment slot.
