Thank you so much for your willingness to help me when no other doctors would. You may have saved my life!
Love this clinic. Dr Morran de muller has been very sweet, she always knows how to calm your nerves. The support staff though I must say is the star of the show! Always willing to accommodate you, or work with your schedule as best they can. I have never felt so at home in a clinic in my life. Even the pharmacist is very sweet and caring.
I was one of DR Ian first patients and over the years I have had a full range of medical issues .. He has stuck with me that other docs didn't want to deal with !! Want to thank you for efforts up to now and in the future ..
I came here for neurology appointments, specifically botox for migraines. Being new in town, I had no idea how the clinic's sourcing of botox worked and needed recommendations. I had heard that patients had to source their own botox and have it sent to the clinic for a fee. I asked the receptionist if there was a pharmacy that patients commonly used, one that they often work with or that one that is nearby. She told me to find one myself because that's my responsibility as a patient and completely neglected to mention that they have a pharmacy directly adjacent to the clinic! She was also very rude on the phone and generally unhelpful. I waited over an hour to be seen and had my appointment rushed because they were supposed to closing for the day. They would have done so on time if they weren't so late. I was also charged a tray fee, which I do not think is allowed. Neurologists that treat migraine are hard to find in the city, but if you can avoid it, I would not go here.
This morning I wanted over 30 minutes on the phone and never got through. The walk-in also isn’t really a walk in because it’s full by 9 am, when they open, which is what I was trying to get into and I have to try every day to get in ????♀️
This office is AMAZING!! You may have to wait a bit to get through to them but who cares! They are busy and working hard. I'm a single mom and they were able to figure out a way to help my daughter even though my daily schedule is absolutely insane. I highly recommend this medical clinic to everyone i speak to looking for a new Doctor. Way to go staff!!!! - Lianne
Tried to get into St. James medical just before 7, they close at 10 and were not accepting anymore walk-ins due to wait time. Crestview was able to get me in quickly with a good outcome.
Everytime I've gone it has been quick and the staff are kind! I've only seen Dr.Malik who I've never had an issue with, she is blunt and honest which I prefer than someone just telling me what I want. The pharmacist is also great, he is super nice and knowledgable. Compared to other walk ins I've been to this one is by far my favourite!
Well i would like to begin that it is nice to have a clinic so close to home. The staff are awesome and so is everyone in that clinic from Doctor Malik to the pharmacist. I have noticed a lot of complaints bout Doctor Malik. To be honest, i have seen many doctors and yes they all seem so compassionate and giving you whatever you want which is wrong! Doctor Malik is NOT there to give you a hug and be a sweet lady and give you whatever you want. She is a doctor and a very good one at it. It is nice to see a great doctor get to the point without beating around the bush. She figured out a medical condition that my wife had! We have been to many doctors from other clinics to even specialists at the HSC hospital and she was the only one that can pin point exactly what my wife's condition was and diagnosed her and now thank god, she is on her way to recovery without being pumped up by steroid creams which the specialists gave her which was eating layers of skin on her legs!!! I think Canada needs more good straight shooting doctors like Doctor Malik who are there to simply help diagnose what is wrong with the patient! Well done Crestview Clinic on your great and polite staff and for having Doctor Malik there. Will always go back.
my review is a little mixed .. the staff were friendly and it was very clean... also the wait time to see a doctor was very quick (15 mins maybe?). so i was impressed to start until i met Dr "Malek".. it was the most rude and disrespectful experience ive ever had with a doctor. She told me she didnt have time for me because i was only a walk in.. also insinuated I might be a pill popper and must be depressed ... lol .. lol ... lol .... so in the end i would recommend crestview clinic and i would try again if needed, but would refuse to see Dr Malek Specifically...
Update- Since this time we have been able sit down a reconcile on the matter at hand. He has been a great family doctor to my family for many decades and it's for a good reason. Our situation was unfortunate, and just want to also thank them for everything up till now. Thanks again and wish you nothing but the best in the future
Wonderful staff and as it is a new clinic, little wait times for walk ups. Hours are limited until they get busier. Pharmacy is under-stocked for same reason but can bring in what you need in two days if they don't have it.
Dr. Azadeh Malekalkalami is the worst practitioner I have ever met. She's rude and also her medication didn't help. I asked for a full physical and she booked some random date for me and didn't notify me about the appointment and she sent me an invoice to pay 100$ for missing the appointment. This is the worst clinic ever.
Excellent clinic with wonderful staff, doctors and pharmacists. They are always so helpful and so kind to my children. Going to the doctor is never fun, but the people who work here make the experience a good one. Everything is run very efficiently and they are a very caring group. .
Very good. Nice waiting area.
I had an appointment. I arrived on time and waited over an hour with only 1 person in the waiting room the entire time...*new addition* the neurologist told me, once HE finally saw me, that he took a patient that didnt have an appointment because he felt bad because she was elderly (which is nice and all) and he said he knows this is unfair to me... and that it pushed all the appointments back... looks like you actually dont need an appointment to see a NEUROLOGIST this wasnt some regular walk in doctor . The doctor was great once he saw me.. but i shouldnt have waited 75 min because someone didnt make an appointment when i had to wait a month for my neurologist appointment
Poor reception, the lady answer the phone so rude
Amazing front desk and nurses, always smiling and friendly but ended up having to finally leave as my doctor was running late for the appointment and they did not know where she is, why she is running late and how long the wait would be. I ended up having to hold undressed baby in the blanket for 30 minutes after my appointment time and then was told we do not know how long the wait would be. I was seeing Dr. Karen Moran De Muller for my pregnancy. Rather than being constantly late (which was not a huge deal before as I had time off scheduled) she misses a lot of things. She only reviews tests results at the appointment so if you had blood work drawn after your appointment, she will only review in 4 weeks. Also my maternal serum blood work was lost and I was told that I need fetal assement that was declined by Women's hospital as there was no blood work. I received blood test information only after 3.5 month to confirm the results. When I was 40 weeks 1 day pregnant, I was told I will be put on induction list and fetal assessment for the next week. When I arrived the next week being 41 weeks and 1 day pregnant and after sharing that I am not feeling well at all, the doctors initial response was "you are just done being pregnant and see you next week" and she told me good bye. After I took initiative to ask about maybe doing a fetal assessment and stressing out that I was not feeling well she told I had anxiety and was done being pregnant. She finally told me "oh wait...this might be your blood pressure actually" and send me to Women's emergency right away (what a big difference between going home for a week and going to Emergency). In Women's hospital I did have to wait for over 3 hours for prescription as they could not get a hold of the doctor. She did submit prescription and put me on induction list after over 3 hours wait (so this was good). I was also told to do Pap test in April when I was pregnant and then to do one again after pregnancy even though I did not have any abnormal results. After consulting with another doctor and Cancer Care Manitoba I was told this was not a necessary procedureto do another's test after 6 months. The reason for sharing this review is as to share my experience and in hopes that next patients have better experience.
Best ever
I have been a patient at this clinic for many years, the staff is friendly and the doctors are amazing. It's hard to find doctors who actually listens and cares, dr. Coyle does such an amazing job with my family's medical needs. I fully recommend this clinic, to all my friends and family!
Currently a patient of Dr. Tandon's and she is the best. She has helped me with SO many things and seems to genuinely care about her patients well being which I appreciate. The receptionists are friendly, the wait times have never been too long for me, and the pharmacist, Jared, is always kind and very helpful in answering any questions I have. On the odd time that I get sick or something comes up where I need to see a doctor right away and am unable to book with my family doctor, I will go to the walk-in clinic here. I have only had to do it twice but both times have been very different from one another. The first time I went was about 2-3 months ago. I had to do a quick test, was diagnosed and given a solution and all was well after that. I had gone yesterday after having experienced a headache, nausea and a really bad cough over the past few days. I had to wait a little longer than expected once I had actually gotten into the room which is understandable as doctors are very busy with other patients so I didn't mind. Once she had come into the room she had asked me what my symptoms were, so I explained to Dr. Malek the symptoms I had been having and for how long. She proceeded to the checkup but when she went to check my ears, which I have many piercings on for both sides, she then said "why would you do that to yourself? you have to think and ask yourself if you want this before you do these things". Now I have heard this from people before so I can't say I was too bothered by it, but I believe that as a doctor, you should not at all be judging patients for personal choices, especially considering that these do not affect my health or are the root of the problem I had come in for. I read all the reviews posted for this clinic and it was astounding how many people have had an issue with this particular doctor. I went home without any solution other than to drink warm drinks and told that it should maybe go away in a week, but I am starting to have second thoughts and thinking that I should be checked again. I'm aware that she's a professional but I feel as if I cannot trust her judgement. Will definitely be coming back as this clinic has been wonderful other than this interaction, but will also be requesting that I see anyone but her regardless of the wait time as I will not stand to trust someone who acts unprofessionally with what seems to be multiple patients.
Terrible. Place is virtually empty. Made an appointment. Arrived early. Waited 1.5 hours. The doctors are slow. They print everything at desk and have to walk it back to doctor then back to patient. The staff at desk complained about their schedules in front of everyone and talked about it amongst eachother. A doctor came out and a patient went in. Doctor sat and talked to the desk girl about manicures. People are still waiting.
Long waits, even before covid. Dr Karen Moran De Mueller is extremely unprofessional, gossips about patients to other patients. While she has her clients waiting with screaming babies in the lobby she is taking personal calls to her daughter (which she loudly proclaimed into the whole waiting room, causing one lady to walk out) she had a patient in a room call front desk saying she was waiting for her and still hadn't been seen.... receptionist went to check and thats when Dr Moran De Muller said she was on a personal call. Also had the waiting room at a stand still when a delivery driver came for a pick up from her that none of the front desk staff knew about and had to get her from her current patient to take care of that. She seems to be a bit of a dcatter brain. She made several errors when I was about to deliver my baby, first she forgot to send in my induction paperwork so I sat for days by the phone until I finally called the hospital and found out they were never sent.... She never remembered anything and seems more interested in telling stories of covid and her other patients children. Walked out of my appt after waiting for hours and will be getting a new dr and pediatrician. I do want to point out that the reception staff is amazing!!!!! I never took my frustration out in them, simply told them I would no longer be a patient there and thanked them for their time. Its the unprofessional drs wasting peoples time. Please don't respond to this review if all you're going to do is make excuses, blame it on covid. Well none of her actions had ANYTHING to do with covid. Rather her own negligence and disregard for peoples time. ***In response to the reply from the clinic. You can care and still do a proper job. Every single time I was there me seeing the doctor was maybe 5 mins tops!!!! When every single time I waited well over 1.5 hrs past my appt time. Then wait in another room where TWICE she came in to tell me she's on the phone, or telling me how she took a walk in before me.... whyyyyyy even schedule appointments then? Soooo wait for 1.5-2hrs and be seen for 5min? Do you see the problem here? Caring is nice and all but I don't go to the doctors for friendship....
Didn't even get to be a patient and I quit them. The day I dropped off my questionnaire, I came up to the reception area and stood for a minute. Neither of the 2 staff acknowledged me when I said,"Hello". Neither even looked up from what she was doing. Neither was on the phone. I said, "Hello" again a little louder. This time I got a response. I said "Oh good. I thought I was talking to myself." The initial meet & greet didn't happen. Dr. was at home. Receptionist seemed unwilling to help me. She said appt. would be made when Dr. was back at Clinic. I said that was fine. Received a call from a (Mgr.?) who was advised there was a problem with previous call. ??? Really? I was unaware of any issue. Receptionist apparently had an issue. I told him that if I am having problems right off the hop, then I don't want to be a patient there. There are clinics on practically every street corner. I'm sure I'll find one that will treat me in a professional manner.
Worst service ever here!!! Never ever answer the phone or return my calls!!! Always leave messages and never get a return call!!! Makes me feel a bit discriminated against.
Thanks Dr Colledge for the ongoing care of my foot arthritis, I can walk comfortably again with my new orthotics and after the steroid injection you gave me last week. Your new location at the Crestview Medical Clinic is very impressive, the staff were extremely helpful in getting my records transferred to you from your old location on Grant Ave. Being disabled the large parking are at the front door and easy access was perfect. Good luck in your new Clinic.
While at this new clinic, great receptionists, short wait, clean and spacious rooms. Horrible Dr. Malek, very humiliating experience, will never return there. Had a problem with a very private area of my body and she proceeded without any patience and began accusing me of giving her my own prognosis, it was just a thought on my behalf but according to her that was not the case but she was willing to give me prescription for something that suposely was not there, she said that that's what I wanted so that's what she will give me, but in the meantime I still wanted to find out what the cause of my pain, then she proceeded to acuse me of finding an excuse to not go to work , and pretty much talking In a loud manner she was saying she will not have it, even though I didnt even ask for a note. NOT SURE WHERE THIS DR. CAME FROM cause professional manners are non existent. And just to give everyone an update; I visited another clinic right after this horrible experience, and it end it up being what I had thought it was which she completely was not her prognosis. So all the rude behavior by Dr. Malek for no reason. As a person, no kindness, rude, loud, accuses you, treats you like you have no idea of anything, and makes you feel dirty and lazy cause you are sick. Will never return to this clinic
Front desk staff very helpful
Very frustrating visit. While the building itself was clean and the wait time short, the face to face experience with Dr. Malek was extremely irritating. Spoke to the receptionist in a very unprofessional manner, and upon being in the office with her she made comments that were extremely judgemental and assumed things that weren't what I said. A visit with a physician should be professional, while still being able to offer a safe space for patients to be open with their concerns. Will not return.
RUDE! If I could give zero stars I would. Don't waste your time coming here.
One star because I can't post zero stars, their neurologist made my girlfriend cry by yelling at her and getting angry with her because she didn't know what was going on with her body, went to get help and recieved none at all, didn't get any answers or recommendations, only got yelling at her and her mom, and when her family doctors offical called their office they could never get ahold of them, very unprofessional, I don't know why you'd go into medicine if you aren't even trying to help people, thankyou for making my girlfriend's already painful experience worse
Worst walk in ever , the doctor told me if my injury was work related she would not help me , also said if she sent me for xrays I would have to wait 5 days for results , my foot is swollen and bruised and she was careless when checking it , I would rather wait at the st james walk in than go back here.....
Excellent clinic! Very helpful and efficient team. The care received was caring and considered. I highly recommend!
After finding out Dr. Azadeh Malekalkalami left I decided i would give Crestview Medical another try and I am so happy i did. All the doctors there now have been great! My son and I see Dr. Chantelle Hercina As a family doctor and she is amazing. We have had great care there since the other DR left unlike her Dr Hercina will thoroughly go through any issues you may have instead of being ignorant and not even let you ask any questions She has been great with managing my sons asthma. I would definitely recommend Crestview Medical to anyone now, All the staff are working so great with Covid right now. Keep up the great work and stay safe!
Doctor was rude and I felt like she talked down to me. She pushed my concerns aside and she was upset that I was self-diagnosing when I was only trying to explain my pains with examples. She only suggested Advil and Tylenol for what I explained as the worst pain I’ve ever experienced throughout my whole body the night before. UPDATE: Had to go to urgent care just four days after this appointment where they diagnosed me with a stomach infection and had to give me an IV with morphine. Got a prescription for nausea and vomiting reducer from the doctor at Victoria urgent care.
Unfriendly CSR
Crestview Medical Clinic is an excellent (new) facility with helpful, friendly administrative staff. To date I've had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Bedi. Her kind & caring demeanor with my special needs daughter ensured a positive experience & I can't thank her enough...
Receptionists were very professional and the clinic was clean. However, my experience with Dr. Malek was traumatizing. I use the word traumtizing because the lack of compassion she had for me as a patient. Having to be examined by someone who made me that uncomfortable was the traumatic part. She took it upon herself to tell me that I need to “respect my body, if you respect your body then you’d do this... etc, ” Implying that I had many partners and even mentioned it THREE TIMES. She came off as extremely unprofessional. It was as though I couldn’t even ask questions. She had a lot to say about respecting the body but when I wanted information and reassurance on what I went there for, she wouldn’t answer any of my questions and just continued to tell me to respect my body. I felt like I wanted to cry coming out of the clinic... No one should ever feel that way.
Great staff and all doctors have been fantastic. Demuller is a fantastic doctor! I appreciate having a walk in and pharmacy in the area !
Hard to get through on the phone but will return calls.
Very little wait time and staff is friendly.
Very polite staff, answered all my questions to their fullest capacity. Great communication, great care, and great service!
Unacceptable. Arrived at the clinic to be told I had to wait outside and call in. I went outside and proceeded to call 7 TIMES with no answer. UNACCEPTABLE! I went back in and was given the excuse "we're busy". A patient shouldn't have to have a melt down in order to see a doctor. Completely disgusting.
This review is written under my name by my partner who had the appointment because her phone will not allow her to do so: I saw Dr. Azadeh Malekalkalami for the first time today with what I feel is a reoccurring chest infection. I have also had reoccurring bronchitis in my life and was wanting to rule that out as I have now been sick with these same symptoms 3 times in the last couple of months. Before I could even tell her all of my symptoms she has her stethoscope up my shirt checking my breathing. I also informed her that I use cannabis for my pain and she immediately jumped down my throat and started rolling her eyes and saying " oh my god I don't know why you're doing this", I have IBS and explained I use it for chronic pain where she then told me if I had IBS I shouldn't be having pain ( I'm sorry but I have severe flare ups sometimes and it enables me from being able to sit or walk the pain is so bad), I felt so judged an unheard. She then diagnosed me with asthma ( I had asthma severely as a child and my symptoms now do not in any way imitate asthma symptoms). Before she was even finished writing my Rx she said "ok we are done here now bye". I left totally shocked, I wasn't even in the room for 5 minutes. Frustrated I go to the pharmacist (Jared) who was absolutely amazing , I mentioned my mistreatment by Dr. Azadeh and he apologized and answered all of my questions without any judgement. It's very disheartening trying to go to a doctor to see what's wrong and they make you feel uncomfortable, judged, unheard, belittled and possibly misdiagnosed.
Friend went in with her son, and suggested that it may be ringworm, and the doctor who spoke with her spoke down to her, told her to not come in there telling the doctors what the diagnosis is. Recommended a cream that was already being used, and then provided nothing else. Didnt do any tests, didnt take any samples, nothing. Simply tragic.
Great doctors and pharmacists
I have been totally impressed with the care, compassion and respect that I have received since becoming a patient here. I have been lucky to have the opportunity to receive care from two physicians in this clinic and both have been outstanding. When I was having an urgent issue I was offered an appointment with another physician in the clinic (not my family dr) who got me into their schedule even though they didn’t have to. I am so glad that I found this clinic and Dr. W.
Dr Moran de Muller has been my gp forever and I have always been treated respectfully and professionally. I recently was seen by Dr Bedi for an emergency situation. The care and follow up I received from her was awesome ! Thank you to both these caring and attentive doctors !
